15261  Economy / Speculation / Re: End of the Bear Trend on: June 14, 2015, 08:09:38 AM
Slowly but surely we are rising, 1$ per day. Soon everyone notices it and then the rally will speed up fast

We need to break ~237$ this week for the weekly pSar to flip, this is very close

are you sure about the 1 per day rising, this since when? this year? to me the market is resembling just a sort of a straight line for now
15262  Economy / Speculation / Re: ~1,314,000 new coins will be created over the next 365 days on: June 14, 2015, 08:07:39 AM
Some will be sold.
Some will be kept by miners.
Either way, the bitcoin economy will need to absorb 1,314,000 new coins. At $230 per coin, that's 300 million dollars to break even.

At any given time, someone can spike the price up to $500 or $1000 or more. But don't be fooled. It won't last because it can't last. The trend is down because Satoshi designed 2015-2016 to be part of the distribution phase. Controlled supply somewhat guarantees that there will be buying opportunities for years to come.

I only wish I'd learned this earlier.

There are over 8 Billion people in the world.
Anyone who wants to own at least one entire Bitcoin needs to buy soon, before the prices go radically higher.  Smiley

8B is not exactly the right number, we are still far away from 7.5B, the clock say 7,321,716,376

and if anyone want to hold at elast one bitcoin, i doubt the price will remain the same

what this thread is saying, is that in the worst scenario where the demand will not go up, the price will go up anyway(because of the mining supply ecc...), so if you add the demand you need to raise even more your expectation about the future price
15263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is in deep trouble. Litecoin to take its place soon. on: June 14, 2015, 08:02:26 AM
Guys, I'm actually willing to see bitcoin in first places but now all this discussions about hard fork, block  size, news related to Gavin and even talks about Satoshi's premined coins reduces bitcoin reputation in the crowd's eyes. Crowd decides. Algorithm, block size doesn't matter if crowd decided to go with Dogecoin, Ripple or Litecoin. I want bitcoin be the strongest but if crowd will be scared beacuse of latest discussions I mentioned above I have to switch  to LTC train with the pain in my soul. Hope it will not happen but history teaches us that the most markable events occurs when nobody expects it - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_swan_theory

don't forget to switch back when all the fuss about litecoin will vaporized after the excitement for the coming halving, will be finished, don't get fooled by it, don't jump on any other train now, bitcoin is still on track to become the biggest alternative to fiat, any other currency is just a shadow of it

the fork is not causing any other major issue anymore, the price is rebounded since then, there is no need to panic anymore for that reason...
15264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to pack it up on: June 14, 2015, 07:58:38 AM
MasterCard is literally a piece of plastic.  US Dollars are literally made out of paper.

Now give me a break.  Your telling me that shit is better than an encoded algorithm?  your CRAZY

this is a good argument against those who thing that bitcoin is only a money based on some random number, or line of codes

While giving their statement of why bitcoin is bad, Mastercard has a team working in the back room that enables them to process bitcoins as soon as regulators approve it.

they're already issuing card that work with bitcoin, like the one of bit-x, so i can't understand really their play, maybe it is one of those bad news that want to build the hype
15265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Big question about Bitcoin XT. on: June 14, 2015, 07:55:34 AM
So when is date for BitcoinXT will occur on the network ?
I mean the fork.

they estimate a date around march 1 2016, but they will talk about it in the future before the changes will kick in

nothing is guaranteed at the moment
15266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The lowered transaction fees in Bitcoin core 0.10.2 are excellent on: June 14, 2015, 07:51:40 AM
Nevermind, Bitcoin QT 0.10.2 is garbage. It managed to destroy itself and won't open anymore. I downloaded it within the past week and its already managed to fall off the right blockchain, so the 0.16 BTC in there will be 0 if I have to resynch. Really unbelievable that this is called a stable release.

Even if I rebuild it I have zero confidence in it.

when those problems happen usually is the os system that has something wrong, maybe some corrupted files because of multiple bsod, or something like that, otherwise bitcoin should always work like a charm, minus, some times, the random hanging at the launch of the client, it has something to do with the node, probably....

Thats very interesting that the fees can be lowered with the new Bitcoin core. I did not think about something like this before. Its nice to have some different options.

yeah but not advisable, so a bit of a pointless feature, but i guess if you are really poor in bitcoin, it could come in hand
15267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would You Ever Take Out a Loan in Bitcoin? on: June 14, 2015, 07:48:05 AM
2. The required collateral either go to the lenders or the escrow based on the two parties' agreement, but whoever is holding collateral, he is reputatioal, trusted by both parties, has done a lot of smooth trades and none of which has any issues. Besides that, I have never seen this kind of cases happened in this forum since I involved in this forum since 2013, except the cases that borrowers run away with the laon and default the loan!

i'm not aware of any collateral given by users that use btcjam for example, and because of this there are many case of default on loan there, from any member, rank does not even matter there, it's a bit sad, seeing how that is the site with the most activity for this kind of stuff

No, I got my bitcoin on the side! I don't need the bitcoin loan! I know it charges a lot of money!

well you can set the interest you want, based on the amount of time for which you're requesting the loan
15268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Negative full page Bitcoin ad in Swedish newspaper, paid by big Swedish bank(!) on: June 14, 2015, 07:44:48 AM
the negativeness of all things concerning bitcoin, it's still balanced by it's benefit, or i would say that its benefits are still superior to it

the only thing that really matter is keeping the interest in bitcoin high(keeps talking about it everywhere), and not ignore it, ignoring it, could be the very first step to destroy it
15269  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a Retirement Account on: June 14, 2015, 07:40:38 AM
i don't really think using bitcoin as a retirement account is the best option because the future of bitcoin is not certain as nobody really the future. Predictions is possible but it is not 100%. It could be profitable at the longrun or not profitable at all. Well, everything has risk, you just have to gauge the risk very well before taking the decision.

the future is not certain for any assets, and bitcoin at this point isn't any different, it could go wrong like it could go well, it is just a matter of perspective, and belef

if you really don't see any other better alternatives than using bitcoin as a retirement account, then go for it without thinking, otherwise you can sit on a more traditional method
15270  Economy / Economics / Re: What Will it Take For BTC to Reach $1000? on: June 14, 2015, 07:35:39 AM
i was thinking about this question,

most people here have the 'legit' answers , user adoption, ect...

still -------------- what got it there the last time ?

a good ole fashioned PUMP

I am not in favor of this since wild changes in peoples perception of value can damage the image of btc.

But it sure as hell got the job done last time.

you got it, a pump is the only thing that can boost bitcoin price and force adoption in a short time, yeah it's not a natural grow, but what it really matter is what will happen after the pump

if the price will not crash like the last time then a pump would be ideal now, because besides helping adoption will raise the confidence of people in bitcoin, but as i said, only in the case there will not be a big crash after it
15271  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: how much can you make weekly? on: June 14, 2015, 07:32:14 AM
well as already mentioned the campaings signatures will allow to earn as the rank ,to achieve a good rank must be active, and yes coinomat is allowing to get a good revenue weekly as the ranks we present i made almost those in a week better then try any faucet all the day long.

Yes signature campaign pays you a good amount weekly but the most important thing is you should join some good signature campaign on which you can trust on while there are many scams here too where they will promise for very higher payout and they will pay you for a while and then simply disappeared.

Can you suggest me some good signature campaign which is genuine one and who makes regular payment?? And how much do they pay? how much can i make weekly? need your suggestion friends so that I can also earn a good amount of bitcoins in the coming future.. Grin  Cheesy

you are full member, you should join a better campaign like dadice or bit-x, but you should check first, if they have still some spots left

bit-x is great because there is no limit, so if you have much free time you can take advantage of that and earn more
15272  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin trading strategy on: June 14, 2015, 07:30:39 AM
the thing is to be wise and enter on the right time on the market, put some buy orders and wait  to complete and must pay attencion... can buy it now and hold for 4 months ,expecting price to go up

it's better to do it with stock or forex, opening a position and closing it it is much simple thna opening an order, you can close your position fast enough and take a small profit where with opening an order you are more susceptible to the market movments

i suggest to use bitcoin for trading with cfd, with plus500 or 1broker, there are others platform, but I do not feel very comfortable using them
15273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many friends did you recommend bitcoin to? Did they accept it? on: June 14, 2015, 07:27:42 AM
I recommended bitcoin to 2 of my friends. They didn't accept it because i recommended them to faucet. They say faucet was a boring job, so they forget everything about bitcoin Sad
why do you recommended the faucet? they would use it because you can only earn small coins from that method. You should recommended to them this forum and also the signature campaign.

i did that to my father, he now using faucet to earn something while he is in retirement, yeah he know that it isn't a great amount, but he is doing it for fun, and to have some confidence with the bitcoin divisors
15274  Economy / Economics / Re: What U.S. states have the highest and lowest taxes? on: June 14, 2015, 07:25:05 AM
and why many do not travel, and go in the other side, if the difference is so big? it should not be so difficult for a usa citizen to move between states, and maybe find a new location to live, instead of wasting money in his current residence...

It is easy to say, but for example California alone is likely bigger than your whole country.  If I move to a cheaper place, it will be hard to visit family and friends.  Plus most companies adjust for cost of living down to the penny, so it isn't like you will really make that much more.

still if you've the money i think you can do it, we are not talking about going abroad, but just in another USA country, there are many around the world that leave their native nation to go abroad to find work, and you're telling me that it is not that possible to do it inside the same state?

i can't believe this, i think they are just lazy people that don't like to deal with any kind of risk
15275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happenning to bitcoin? Why it's not growing while Litecoin does? I know. on: June 14, 2015, 07:21:00 AM
it simple litecoin is approaching its halving, so the attention are all there(attention from pumper than after that will cause a massive dump again)

but i doubt that it will last, and despites this bitcoin is still the strongest and always will be, altcoin are only there to entertain bored bitcoin traders
15276  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Countries with No Bitcoin Taxes on: June 14, 2015, 07:17:30 AM
if you start trading with bitcoins in germany.then you need to pay taxs on the profit.
doesnt metter you hold these coins for more than 1year or not.

how about mining activity? and what if one cannot keep traces of all his trasncactions? because some come from pool others are lost because the exchange vanished with the money, and or sort of this proble?

not to mention the altcoin fest, it would be really a nightmare to declare anything
15277  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: June 14, 2015, 07:15:34 AM
Investing money= risk of losing money/getting a good return from investment. (Risky)
Bank is secure investment but in long term, it doesn't increase. Inflation, duh. Invest in bitcoin.

banks are not that secure anymore, did you saw all the recents news about bank insolvency and bank robbery? i'll not trust a bank nowadays like i would not trust any exchange

what we need is a sidechain with the ability to turn bitcoin pos, so you can earn interest while leaving your coins/money safe in your desktop
15278  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is Bitcoin still a slave of Fiat? on: June 14, 2015, 07:12:20 AM
Bitcoin is still a slave of fiat because we use fiat to buy bitcoin not use bitcoin to buy fiat Roll Eyes
Also, people still think think how much bitcoin worth from its price not total adoption

Very rightly said and I still feel that bitcoin can never replace fiat as there are many things which you cannot buy by using bitcoin like grocery stuff and it would take a very long time when the grocerries and the small shops starts accepting bitcoin as a mode of payment and I dont think in near future that bitcoin can replace fiat.

You are right half a way but I think it can replace fiat no doubt it will take time but it is not impossible as the future is uncertain and you never know what future is waiting for us so it is like 50-50 at a moment but you cannot neglect the fact that the people are getting more technology friendly and will not hesitate in adopting new technology.

there is the possibility to replace fiat one day, but not in real life, not by buying physical stuff and pay with bitcoin in your local zone, there is a much greater possibility for online shop, there i could see bitcoin taking on fiat, if it will be successful

Bitcoin is still a slave of fiat because we use fiat to buy bitcoin not use bitcoin to buy fiat Roll Eyes
Also, people still think think how much bitcoin worth from its price not total adoption

And the main reason is there are few things that you cannot buy by using bitcoin like say buying daily stuff from grocery, paying to a maid etc. So these things are only possible with the use of fiat and I believe it would take a very long time the grocery and small merchants starts using bitcoin as a mode of payment.

i would say that it is still more easy to buy those stuff with fiat, espcially cash, then bitcoin, and not that they cannot be bought with bitcoin
15279  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Should i just move to china and farm bitcoins? on: June 14, 2015, 07:09:27 AM
One other question I would add:

Do you already speak Chinese, and are you familiar withe culture and customs?

While I personally think it unwise to "chase BTC around the world", that's your choice to make. If it actually pans out as a currency it will be silly to have done so (IMHO).

After the next 20 years, there can't be any real money in a Bitcoin mining facility. After all, do the guys running the data centers that do the rest of the financial system make money on their slender fees in moving money and accounting?

besides this, having cheap electricity will not help that much your mining activity, it will be still far to difficult to earn something and make roi, there is no competition anymore for casual miner who are not willing to spend a tons, for building a big farm to compete with all the already big established farm
15280  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: I placed my 4 s3+ outside on: June 14, 2015, 07:03:07 AM
To remove the dust you can use small air compressor one time at week.

I believe it would be much easier to buy some air filter sponge or sheet to reduce the dust. Just make sure it doesn't reduce the fan pressure too much.

this is the problem, this kind of dust is smo small that you need a filter with very tiny holes like a colander for rice, high chances that something  like this will limit the cfm

he can add another fun near the exit of the tube, for directing the dust to another direction, could be a possibility
