I would like to hear people’s stories about how they first heard about Bitcoin ?
I was playing bakbakrakiki on the 9th moon or Eldroonor the gamblers kept mentioning bitcoin. I won a big hand and the guy paid me off with this time cube. Supposed to give me more time, I fiddled with it a bit and it transported me to my current job in Morrisons Salford. I am waiting for my turn at reductions. That seems to be the key according to ziggy. The old lady comes on Wednesdays. mmmm so both of us became bitconians cause of gambling ....... i played him that was known as the headmaster of online poker @night and days and did came out alive with bags "sticks" of what is know as BTC*true story i heard first on my private @that time home game of poker* (and never heard or read about it before, and became a hodlers since that evening-night, for a non computer guy, that never heard of it before its strange to became an instant HODLER not? proud of my decission right there) .......... all the other guy's where laughin that time with my invisible-internet money  who's laughin now ?? |

^ eat my last Smerit and heat up MAN normal gotta be DRUNK for sending the last of that, but that just a nice post you had there sir..... by the WAY i got in around 350-ish$ "won the especially first amount of coins on poker" and had a few of MONSTER sessions luckely, and did almost hodled all of it i did accumulate @ all following prices cause we started playing for BTC-blinds and just kept it the same NO-matter what $value of the coins where @ any time..... but cause of the first 10-20 sessions where played in FIAT and the guy that owned BTC was the losing guy and i was the winning guy (so @ that time when i won some of what bigger FIAT worth amounts and he paid me in BTC..... my overal averages in fiat value will be not very HIGH i guess ......) i'm really happy with not knowing shit about BTC.... i did hodled from the start |

back to 1500 is my guess I smell a nocoiner full of hatred.  you have a very good nose sir.... Ya ok..........and all the people were saying we will never see bitcoin below 15k again, and then we will never see bitcoin below 10k again. and it already nearly hit 5k.
1500 is still a high amount considering where bitcoin started from and how many people got in under $10. Bitcoin does havfe a use, acts as a digital bearer bond and you are in complete control of your money. Well the thing is the majority of people (over 99%) don't care about any of this and would rather use a bank. I used to be a strong believer but this whole thing is just another dot.com crash all over again but without the rebound.
Doesn't mt gox still have a bunch of coins to dump?
Also there is a very real threat of Satoshi's 1 million bitcoins. Who the hell knows what will happen and maybe he will dump those eventually.
MT Gox + Satoshi can dump a *limited* number of bitcoin on you, while your government can dump *unlimited* fiat on you anytime they want. Now you see that why "99% of the people who don't care about any of this" will eventually get into bitcoin? Be smart, be a part of the remaining 1%. Raja that's all common sense..... but when your confronted with the NOCOINER then you just let them pass you by and surely don't try to correct them, let them be part of the ATH buyers, they still will have there FUN and good btc right there it will only be much more less as us early guy's do not give the NOCOINER/when BTC is in a DIP writer any attention  |

Anyhow, it would be nice to hear about how guys like you and PeterR are considering or reconsidering their various allocations including allocating towards various bcash forks and allocating towards bitcoin.
I'm comfortable with my current allocation. Considerably more $ value in BTC than in BCH-SV + BCH-ABC. Way more BCH-SV than BTC, and way more BCH-ABC than BTC. I have a little more BCH-SV than BCH-ABC; I had some residual BTC on Poloniex that I exchanged for BCH-SV just before the fork. Minor holdings in Monero, Namecoin, and some shitcoins that may pump. so if you keep everything like this you will always have more $-value in BTC, By ' BTC', I assume you mean BTC? My operating thesis says different. Yeah there is this 1 button to select with “ BTC” , i guess that one is the same for everyone in here not? |

weekend was interesting, very as in people that i met ,as in good food and good booze, but when my eyes flipped to BTC .... yeah man we all know what that means in these times..... then that glass of wines just getting more and more tasteful even suggesting me to take something stronger .
but i have this kind of continuously HOPIUM injection into my system, so i never feel bad about BTC,just looking for the excitment as well...
I drank & lot & did a lot of drugs Friday night heading into Saturday morning. Felt really depressed most of Saturday (a lot of this was drug come down but bitcoin going down made me upset too). Had a great sleep, a shower & I’m fucking back on the HOPIUM train now.
