Does anyone give bounties for translators? There was one guy promising it, but i (and as it seems a cople other guys) did't receive anything. Added myself for nxtcoins.nl. Also would like to repeat joefox's call for bounties for wiki-translators. I myself spend at least half an hour to an hour every evening translating as the wiki keeps updating. I know that there are some other people working hard on it, too, not in the least joefox himself. PR tends to take a second seat to development |

Now wouldn’t it be great to have something substantial before the start of a media campaign. As of now I think nexern will have a client within three weeks. Maybe you can work together with nexern and put it in a nice package. And I agree with Klee we need the white paper. Don’t know what others think about priotorization but imo: 1) Stable running servers and software 2) A nice looking client 3) Media campaign and if possible before the end of the month  Pin Also: something beside exchange trading to do with your Nxt. We have some games coming now, but it should get out of altcoin country. How can that be promoted? |

Until those issues are resolved, though, I believe that all the marketing savvy NXT folks should start making a BIG STINK out of the fact that NOBODY has been able to find a flaw yet in the other topic! Who knows? ...such marketing stunt could continue all the way till April 3!!! You know, I've been reading that thread with NO knowledge of code whatsoever with the intention of being able to write about it. So far the only angle that presents itself to me is "people are doing  , about , but apparantly all is still . There is some  going on, but CfB has went  and , so all is probably well" I'm so out of my league there that I feel like I'm a toddler that's been admitted to university. |

Am I the only one who finds this a very disturbing part of the terms and conditions? I must confess this is the first time I've looked at the terms, too, so my own fault. However, I did some research and these are out of the ordinary terms, basically stating: "My money is now yours" This is totally different from any other exchange, where the money is referred to as "client money", which is held by the exchange on behalf of the client. |

I'm tempted to launch FIATCoin, the Coin that comes full circle. People could send me BTC to get discs of metal and sheets of paper. The innovation will be that we agree to pretend we want them and that they represent value. I think I might cash in on that one. |

Is there any type of leadership in this project that is going to say, X is the official forum. The most authentic information is here at X. Or are we just going to let people blindly navigate this "de-centralized" fairyland because "screw centralization"?
No official forum. You would have to decide for yourself: where do you like to be, who do you want to trust etc. It would be confusing at first, but when you take the red pill and stays in wonderland, you will finally be free. In the interest of time this is a terrible, terrible idea organizationally and strategically if NXT is to succeed in any sort of meaningful way. I disagree, but then Bitcoin and NXT would only attract to a certain type of people. For God's sake, we are not a a corporation. You could invest in Facebook if you want that sort of things. Thanks for the clarification. But NXT is a project, and like any other project known to man it needs cohesion and direction, and a clear source of authentic information that is easy to find for others who want to get involved. Enough with the elitist view on crypto. If it really is "so much more" than Bitcoin, why is it reserved for a select few? Most people you see running the show are actually people who jumped in and started doing things they saw needed doing. This leads to a certain lack of coordination, maybe, but Nxt is very much a community of people who volunteer. |

The Wiki and http://www.nxtcrypto.org/ (site, not forum) are your best sources atm. For the rest, everything is a bit all over the place atm. |

Graviton is on the nextcoin.org forum threatening to take down my guide on trading on Peercover because it states factual information about DGEX's policies. Is this what NXT is about?
Not surprising: it's HIS forum. The problem here is that that forum has been and IS the biggest Nxt forum, but his two hats leads to conflict of interest. If I were in his position, I'd probably do the same. NxtCrypto forum is the other one, maybe you would be better off putting it there. Also: Nextcoin forums dóes deserve props for being instrumental as the first populated forum for Nxt. However, it now becomes problematic that it's viewed as THE official forum, which it isn't. |

Eh? I think we're working off different definitions of darkNXT!
- NXT that is in an account that nobody knows the passphrase of == darkNXT
- NXT that is in an account that hasn't yet got a public key in the block chain (i.e. no transfers out, no aliases, no forging) != darkNXT
That 250million figure is including the latter, right? No way to distinguish between the two from a technical point of view.
So we have dumbNXT and darkNXT now? |
