1542  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dear banks, it's not about blockchain technology on: October 10, 2015, 12:05:52 PM
How to Disclose bank's private blockchain technology hoax ?

Dear banks, it's not about blockchain technology, it's about we don't want you controlling our money any more. ----- from reddit

Dear OP. No one ask or force you to send money to the bank. If you want to do this you send the money there and they give you profit. Small or big this is another question. But are you who choose the bank and not the bank you. The bank is an normal business which work with the money and make money. They don't control nothing (for more your money) if are not you in person who go to them and give those your money.

As about the application of blockchain from those this a sign that in those work the most intelligent people that have understand the potential of peer to peer and its application blockchain. Do not worry about this. This a very good sign for peer to peer and if it is good for peer to peer it is more good for bitcoin itself. I hope that their example be followed as soon as it will be possible from to many other businesses. This will be a big step ahead in the known of bitcoin and its potential by to many others.
1543  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dorian Nakamoto giving AMA on Reddit on: October 10, 2015, 10:26:03 AM
What happened to him? At one point he could barely string together a coherent review for cookies, now he's writing lengthy screeds.

the photo 'proof' was photoshopped

just like:

Of course it's fake, and yeah just like this photo of Bill Gates.
I'm wondering, why do people use Photoshop for such thing???

Who knows? Maybe it is not fake. Gill Gates is a great inventor. Maybe he want to remove the doubts from him and do such kind of things and then publish those for the public. The public see those and think like you and the author of the post quoted by you.

Who can boast that have a bigger imagination than mine?  Wink
1544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to keep your bitcoins secure if you suddenly disappear (jail or prison) on: October 10, 2015, 10:19:35 AM
You may use a deep cold storage. You need to open a safe deposit box and putting a USB stick containing an encrypted wallet file in it. The public (sending) addresses can be used any time to send additional bitcoins to the wallet, but spending the bitcoins would require physical access to the box (in addition to knowledge of the encryption password).
1545  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: October 10, 2015, 09:56:37 AM
This is the difference between gold and bitcoin.
Gold's price increases.
Bitcoin's price decreases.

yeah that is fact, bitcoin each year continues to weaken the price
in contrast to gold, which each year can go up but it can also go down
but important, price each year does not always go down

Bitcoin is still considered as new currency or commodity and do not have any solid base to decide on price but it only depends on demand and supply so its prices are quite volatile and it can move any direction quite fast. But gold has solid history of giving profits over the time and its prices will not move so fast so gold considered as better investment option for long time. I put my small portion money in bitcoin but most in gold.
yeah gold have solid history,

What do you think bitcoin could be like gold?

Your affirmation is not at all true (the affirmation of the first post quoted by all the others after it). It is wrong. The real data about the trend of price of gold and bitcoins shows the opposite of what you write. Gold prices is decreased the lasts (near) five years. The bitcoin price it is stabilized in almost one year. See the charts below about what I wrote.

Price of bitcoin in 2015:

1546  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Most Secure bitcoin wallet ? on: October 10, 2015, 09:20:55 AM
Most secure wallet is blockchain.info. They encrypt everything in our browser and they store nothing as raw data.

Wrong advice. I know people which have lost their bitcoins have in this kind of wallet. I don't know how and in which way but the fact that are at least two the verified cases in which people has loss of their bitcoins shows that this wallet it is not at all secure. I use coinbase. Never heard or read even one case of hacking of this wallet. Never heard or read any case of loss of bitcoins from this wallet.

I want to add here even that coinbase paid your fees when you send bitcoins while blockchain don't do this. In the last wallet the fee are paid from the sender (from you).

So coinbase is not only more secure but even convenient.
1547  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: October 10, 2015, 09:10:42 AM
up until now i dont know if bitcoin can be categorized as currency,,it just commodity without physical like gold..

if bitcoin a currency there there will be a paper bitcoin,,or anything that has physical..

Bitcoin is a digital currency and that is known and told by everyone. Is a particular new currency which for the moment have no physical form. I write "for the moment" because in the future it is not impossible that even bitcoin has its physical form.

But it is not the problem about which I want to discuss in this thread.

Let's make an analyse of your post. You tell that if bitcoin be a currency there will (must) be a paper coin, or anything that has phisycal (form). Where have found you this? Who told this?

Below are the meaning of the words "currency" and "money" taken from good sources. In no one of definitions is conditioned the existence of a currency with the having of one physical form of it. It is only one part of definition which ask for the physical form of the currency but this definition is not an condition but optional because tell: "You'll need some cash in local currency but you can also use your credit card" So you need to have some cash (physical money) OR you can use your credit card. As a conclusion. If you have the credit card you don't need the cash. If you have the credit card you may "forget" about the cash. Credit and debit card with bitcoin are to many in circulation so this part of definition meet the conditions asked by the definition of the currency.

Read below the entire definition and the source of those.

According to Oxford dictionary: "The currency is the system of money that a country uses:

trading in foreign currencies
a single European currency
You'll need some cash in local currency but you can also use your credit card."

Source: http://www.oxfordlearnersdictionaries.com/definition/english/currency

According to Wikipedia: "Money is any item or verifiable record that is generally accepted as payment for goods and services and repayment of debts in a particular country or socio-economic context, or is easily converted to such a form."

Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Money

The final conclusion. Bitcoin is a currency even with the actual definitions of this "tool".

But even is not. Who told you that the definitions cannot be improved with the evolution of the "tool"?
1548  Economy / Services / Re: BTC for Everyone! - Forum Posting on: October 10, 2015, 08:16:53 AM
It is true. For everyone. This site is SCAM. The OP is disappeared. Maybe he wanted to try in which way worked its thread and then create this thread attracting people with its offer. But then nothing. I made 15 posts there and had no payment.

So as a conclusion: NO ONE MUST JOIN. WILL NOT BE PAID.
1549  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold Losing It's Shine? on: October 10, 2015, 08:06:01 AM
Last two and half years gold could not find upward movement. The slow down in economy also a reason for slow gold movements. But gold will shine is future for sure as long as world countries accept it as medium of exchange.

The years that gold is going down are near of five and only two and half. So the double of the years given form you. Five years are not few. So this long tendency need to make us to think about its value. It is as it was or it is (will be) a new one not more as it was?

Below the chart which show the price of gold in the last five years:

1550  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Earning BTC in a 3rd world country on: October 10, 2015, 07:54:13 AM
Hello everyone!
i am new to BTC. I am from Pakistan and finding it hard to start with the BTC. Any useful information how to start from scratch if i am from a 3rd world county? Thanks a lot in advance.

Maybe this is not a preferred way but I am telling because it is one of those which can give you the possibility to have bitcoins. You want to start with bitcoin. Firstly you need to read and understand as much as it will be possible about it. A good source it is Wikipedia. There are to many articles and threads there that can help to know everything one person want to know about bitcoin. Without the base knowledge about it you will not be able to "exploit" fully it. Nor to be able to protect it when will need to do this (if).

Then you can try with faucets with give some satoshi but that are nothing. Every beginner begin with those. If you want more and will have knowledge about it you can be active here in bitcointalk and with time your rank will be greater and you will have the possibility to participate in signature campaigns and earn much more. And at the last, but that can be the first way which can give you some bitcoin, is to buy some of those (if you have the possibility). I can suggest as a very safe and good place to buy bitcoin virwox (do a search in google and your will find easily this site).

The last one way is to find a secondary job and be paid with bitcoins. Even here in bitcointalk it is possible to find such kind of jobs. But this depends from your skills (which I don't know) and from your ability to "sell" those.
1551  Other / Meta / Re: Just remove signatures already. As in delete, disable, gone. on: October 10, 2015, 07:33:35 AM
The forum is nearing the lowest point content-wise I have seen. Click on just about any thread and it is mindless replies and bumps from people with big signature ads pushing something. There is nothing here, no content, no dialog. It is certainly not the place for cryptographers and programmers and entrepreneurs to exchange information about Bitcoin. If you are lucky, you will find someone completely out of their depth asking a stupid question answered a hundred times, someone that then cannot understand the answer.

There is no reason or need for a signature. Limiting the BBcode to higher-activity members helped the look of the forum, but just creates a market for old accounts to do the spamming.

What is needed is to deincentivize this crap posting by completely removing the signature. End the signature campaigns and the pay for obnoxious scam sites. People are profiting from posting nonsense and making this forum useless, and this is seemingly the only way to make it stop.

Then we have the activity/post count chasers, which you can see from dozens of "why isn't my activity going up" posts. There's another number that can just be removed from posts. Take away that incentive to post junk also.

You are right on some things. For example when you write: "If you are lucky, you will find someone completely out of their depth asking a stupid question answered a hundred times, someone that then cannot understand the answer." There are to many threads when you can meet such things.

But you are wrong in having fear from these people. Their never, according to me, enter in threads when the discussion is about questions regarding "cryptographers and programmers and entrepreneurs" which want to "exchange information about Bitcoin".

So it was enough for you to eliminate the "easy" threads which are the preferred ones for that kind of people and you are safe.

Fortunately the forum has to many boards, child boards, and threads. Everyone of those has its content well defined and its name write clearly on it. You choose those which interest to you and if your interest are particular I can assure you that you not find any post with signature campaign there.

The signature campaigns are not the fault and the cause of your problem. Their target are never such boards or child boards for which you talk in your post. Or even if there are people with signature campaign who write in such places I am sure that those understand well those and want to tell their thoughts in those. Which, I think, cannot be crap. If someone dares to write in those, that meaning that he cannot be an crap author. It is another thing if someone spam there. But their posts can be reported and he will banned from the forum.

I think that who have something with the signature campaigns are you. And what is the reason of this ire that it is known only by you.  Smiley
1552  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: October 10, 2015, 07:15:29 AM
i think you need only 1BTC
in future bitcoin can be rich to $10.000  Grin
i hope 1day i can be rich

With 10 000 us dollar cannot have a good retirement. Nay will have a very poor retirement. Retirement last at least 15-20 years and 10 000 us dollars can be spent in only 2-3 month. So, if he will have only 1 bitcoin at the day in which will begin his retirement and this bitcoin will have as value only 10 000 us dollar he will live only two - three months and then will die.  Sad Cry

1554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Am I the world's unluckiest affiliate partner? on: October 09, 2015, 04:06:59 PM
How can it be possible for you to have a negative revenue with that kind of traded volume? crazy...

It is easy to understand (if you want). Because is gambling. And every gamble game is programmed to win the owner and not the player. The OP must be stops time ago but he has insisted and now is in this situation. To lose about 200 bitcoin in gambling show an purely addiction from gambling. The OP must have someone near; someone who love it to convince him to leave immediately this kind "fun". To use all the possible ways; even to force him in the way of rehabilitation forcing him to see a doctor.

What are you talking about? Who lost 200BTC?
He is advertising their casino via affiliate program and a total amount of deposits from all players combined is 200BTC and casino suffered a loss of 8BTC and he 30% of it. House are not winning in this case.

Wrong meaning. I will delete my post right now. I didn't know that an affiliate partner are a kind of owner of casino. In this case I am very happy that he is in loss. Maybe this will force him tol leave this "job" and find another which it will be more profitable and more "healthy".
1555  Economy / Economics / Re: EUR might drop below USD on: October 09, 2015, 04:01:36 PM
The issue is not greece, but that several contries in europe have serious debt issues.

Europe is financialy and politicaly divided.

This is the main reason of the intentional weakness of euro. The growth will reduce the debt. At least this is the hope. The less value of euro will stimulate the exports of every country in Eurozone and this will help in the decrease of debt.

I am giving my opinions about the winners of every match. Will be winners: England, Ukraine, Sweden, Russia, Austria, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Switzerland. I don't want to give results about every match.

Who want to make the same thing like me and see after who will win?

It is fun to bet without money.
1557  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Use cases. What do you actually use Bitcoin for? on: October 09, 2015, 03:50:27 PM
Recently I used my all saved bitcoin for important matter but it is not actually the usage of my bitcoin. So in general, I just my saved bitcoin when in need. I have a real life job now so my expenses are covered in my salary. Bitcoin in my wallet are just saved for future use when time comes that I will need it.

But if you used all your bitcoins for important matter what do you have in your wallet? In the beginning of your post you tell that you have used ALL your saved bitcoins and then in the last sentence of your post you write that YOUR bitcoins are SAVED in your wallet for the future? Which bitcoins have you saved? They (all) that you have used??!!

You are confusing me..... But, I think, not only me....  Huh  Huh

Apology Sir if I mislead you in that post but I think my sentence is correct. Smiley

The last sentence that "I saved" was already used now (first sentence) because it is the "time comes" which is reffering to "important matter". Hope it is clear now lol.

Right now I started saving again thru doing some bitcoin earning method. Hope I can get back all the coins that I spent without buying it in my fiat currency because I don't preferred that method.

To tell the truth the sentence that you give as explanation confuse me more than the previous confusion. Maybe is your English or maybe is my English but I yet don't understand what do you want to tell with your words. Then you have not reason to apologies. Smiley We are not in a lesson here or in a courtroom. You need only to explain (if you want) the meaning of your two posts.

However this is an not important thing in this discussion so (if you want) leave it. Better let's discuss about the aim of this thread.
1558  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you agree people barrow money for gambling? on: October 09, 2015, 03:33:30 PM
I agree of course. They need money for gambling and they will find a way to come in possession of it so they can gamble. Or they will sell something that is not theirs. My neighbor sold everything from the house(it wasn't his, everything belonged to his parents ) and he lost it, there is more story's about him. But no one saw him in last two years... Who knows what is with him now.

That's the most evilest thing to do, your neighbor has a illness called Compulsive gambling, also called gambling disorder, is the uncontrollable urge to keep gambling despite the toll it takes on your life. Gambling means that you're willing to risk something you value in the hope of getting something of even greater value. and he needs to be treated and go on a rehab.

I think rehabilitation is for people who wish to be better. That is most important. If they don't wish to be better, there is no way u can make them. As about my neighbor is that he don't wish it, that is life he choose and he is somewhere abroad. Last time i heard he was  in Spain, that was year ago.

But if the gambler it will be your son or daughter will you reasoning the same? Will leave he/she in its own without doing nothing? I not. I will try all the ways and at the and will force them to be rehabilitated. The same thing must do the relatives of everyone if they want the best or the goodness for someone which is addicted by something (read gambling for this case). If They will have the possibilities to do this they must try all the ways to rehabilitate someone addicted by the bad.
1559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: October 09, 2015, 03:21:52 PM
“Gambling is an act of faith of gamblers.”

There's a point when gambling turns from entertainment to addiction, very few people can tell the difference but preaching will not stop people from gambling OP. Every Cigarette pack is served with the warning that it is injurious to health, does that stops them? people smoke every day knowing that they might someday develop a cancer and die from it.

Let people make their own mistakes and hope that they learn from it.

Do not cost nothing to you to not tell this advice. The same don't cost nothing to you to tell the opposite of this advice. It is not better to talk about the gambling and the addiction (read: damages) that this kind of "entertainment" create to the players? It is the same "work" but the result may be different. Don't you think that is better to promote the right (leave the problem) and not the wrong (leave them on their problem)?
1560  Economy / Gambling / Re: Has this ever happened to you in Gambling or it's just me? on: October 09, 2015, 03:15:34 PM
No this never happen to me i always keep lossing in sports betting whenever i bet on some of the top ranked team they lose.

And you continue with stubbornly to insist in betting again and again? It is not an addiction from the gambling this your behavior? Don't you think only one time to not bet more? Or at least to bet much less in time since to not bet more?
