1541  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think about Bitcoin? on: January 24, 2022, 08:04:49 PM
The rise and fall of the price of bitcoin is highly dependent on its adoption. If in the future bitcoin adoption continues to increase, then there is a possibility that the bitcoin price will have a higher price and vice versa, so for now I don't think there is any point in continuing to predict the bitcoin price will go higher in the future due to the fact that bitcoin is currently still It's in a downside phase and it's a bit difficult to get back to the $50-$60k level.
Op just said that more countries now accept btc, that is why he believes that 100k is just around the corner. The adoption drastically increase because btc is now very exposed and people right now are depending too much on the digital payments because of the current situation, add in the fact that btc is still dumped so more people are going to fill their bags.

There is nothing wrong in predicting and predictions are not only good at a short period of time, that is why he is optimistic that btc can get out of the red zone soon and then finish its unfinished business of reaching 100k. It may only look hard but its possible mate, trust me.
1542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 24, 2022, 06:50:20 PM
If you want to watch the exciting match, you should have watched today's match of Chittagong Challengers vs Khulna Tigers.
Okay.. at international levels, yesterday the 2nd T20I between England and West Indies was really a nail biting one. Until the 19th over of West Indies innings, it seemed England was going to win easily but sudden heroics from Akeal Hosein who entered to at no:10 made a feel like things turned out in favor of West Indies still West Indies fell short of 1 run to win. West Indies scored 28 runs in last 6 balls but they needed 29 runs for a super over or 30 runs for a win. What a roller coaster match it was.

it certainly would be interesting to see the fixtures being different.
There are chances for missing out for India-Pakistan clash if these countries are not in same group hence the schedule is always in making sure of putting them into same group hence they will have at least one meet for high voltage hype to get all possible highest cricketing revenues. I am not expecting a different kind of fixture at any time soon on all ICC events.
1543  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Most Popular Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - Watford & UFC Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: January 24, 2022, 05:30:35 PM
I see another big whale wagering on Stake, but just cause he wagered so much doesn’t mean that he can empty Stakes wallet single handedly. Furthermore Stakes finances are sound and I doubt they can ever go bankrupt, hence all the fears about them going bankrupt are naive as that won’t ever happen.
No casino is beyond the reach of a wealthy person to crash them out. I mean obviously it would be very very hard to do something like that, but at the same time it is not impossible to happen neither. Aren't there any people who have billions of dollars? Yes there are, could they technically speaking gamble with max amounts? Or even go illegal and do multiple accounts on different places not to get caught (which they can afford since they have billions) and max bet on all of them? Hell they can hire 100 people or 10k people all around the world and max bet them all. Then all they have to do is hope that their bet wins, and that is how you can bankrupt a casino.

I am not saying that any sane person would do it, that is like just one super wealthy person hating stake for some reason to do that, and I doubt that would ever happen, I just meant "technically" it is not impossible for it to happen.
1544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New meme coin? on: January 23, 2022, 09:54:49 PM
Do you think this coin has potential?
No. The fact that is it named after a popular meme/shitcoin (Shiba Inu) tells you that this token is just another copy-cat.
No team info. Bland website design. The features of this shitcoin is common amongst many other shitcoins, deflationary, burn mechanism, etc.
This can be quite annoying, I hate seeing all these copycats, and this one is obvious that they copied from shibainu. Even shibainu itself has been down as of recent, and the hype is over, no one is even talking about it anymore. Although I still see some meme coin fans who keep believing that meme coins will still have a come back this year, I know it is possible, but I’m not really taking it.

Anyone who is making an investment now should be very careful of the investment they make, and be sure that the assets that their money goes into is one that would be worth it this year. Meme coins are more volatile than their crypto counterparts, so it’s a huge risk.
1545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoins would you invest $ 1,000,000 in? on: January 23, 2022, 09:31:35 PM
$ 1 million is a good capital to buy coins, when the market is red like yesterday it becomes a good opportunity to buy, with $ 1 million I will give 80% to buy 5 main coins that I will use for staking, and these coins are CAKE , BUSD, Uniswap, MATIC and BNB.
That is a great approach, to both have money that is coming in constantly, and to also have the coins themselves. If you invest in any coin ever, it may go up or down, but if you invest into coins that you could stake, you have that AND you have passive income as well.

If you invest into bitcoin, you will not be taking advantage of the mining income, that is for miners, but if you invest into something like cake then you could make a profit for just holding it. Considering they could give anything between 10% to 100% (cake restaking has nearly 90%) then we could assume that on average you could make at least 20% yearly income.

From 1 million, that is 200k, even if we say 180k, that is 15k per month. So, not only you will make 15k per month, but also price could go up and that means your passive income will go up as well, so you will basically live forever with that money without ever needing to anything else. Only possible problem would be if these coins go down in price a lot and stay there and never go back up.
1546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Profitable Coin For 20222 on: January 23, 2022, 09:01:32 PM
Let's we discuss about some profitable coin for 2022. No doubt Bitcoin the favourite coin for all-time investment. Besides Bitcoin, which coin will be the most profitable for 2022?? I think Ethereum You?
Estimating the profits, or trying to justify your investment is not an easy thing to do. Many people will come up with some coins or tokens to shill, but logically speaking it is not really up to us to decide that. Sometimes great projects become nothing, and sometimes idiotic projects go up.

I have always said that doge was an idiotic project, we all know that it was a joke thing that started and it was never meant to be a good investment project, just for laughing. What happened in 2021 to doge was unaccounted for and it was shocking for many veteran investors like me. So, we should not try to predict what will happen because we can't really do that with any set logic we can use.
1547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the most important features of an online crypto casino? on: January 23, 2022, 08:21:21 PM
As for me, security is one of the main factors that should be considered in searching for crypto casinos because bonuses, withdrawal limits, and other stuff would be senseless if the casino site isn't secured. It's better to have an assurance that our funds are safe while we're aiming for a good profit.
I feel like security is not really "cared" as much because people think that it should be given. I mean without security all else fails, so it is not even a discussion that one should have a great security. However, some of the other things are a bit can live without levels. Like variety of currencies is something you can live without, would it be nice to gamble in a place with 100 coins option? Sure that would be great, would it be too important to leave if they don't? Of course not. Because of that things like responsiveness is at the top, because without security you are gone, but without proper support, you could be hurt but not gone totally.
1548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 23, 2022, 07:01:59 PM
John Wall is more consistent than Westbrook in terms of shooting and being a point guard. the only problem is his health, he might be a problem if he is injury prone, so it's a gamble for the Lakers to trade Westbrook for Wall. Let's see how these rumors will end up though.
Wall was never a great shooter, he was always a bad one outside of the arc, he is basically what Westbrook was before Westbrook, and to be fair he was super fast when he played, like fastest in the league probably at one point, and his vision of the court was awesome. However when you put all of this together, it doesn't really make it a better team, we are talking about a replacement for Westbrook basically and not a different style.

Westbrook is 100% not the problem, but also a bit of the problem. Not because he is a bad player, it just that when you have Lebron who is known to be a beast and go inside with ease and either score or pass out, then having another star that does the same thing makes no sense. You need a shooter there, not a passer, you already have Lebron, so get a target for Lebron and not someone who does the same thing.

A player like Curry would be the most ideal of course, but Curry is ideal for every team, so you just need another player like him, Dame would be awesome but he is too big name too, just another shooter at PG basically, nothing else.
1549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: January 23, 2022, 06:22:12 PM
Well, I wouldn't say that being great in the league means nothing. If you did then the team should not push for first place in their own league. For me, Man City has been dominant in their league and should also do good in the Champions League but all we can do is predict because obviously, we are not sure what's going to happen in the future. They can win they can lose. If you look at it like that then everything is 50/50.

But considering the fact that they are really informed and generally, they should carry this form in the Champions League and also bring good results.
I didn't mean it doesn't worth anything, I am sorry for my wrong wording of the situation. I just meant that just because they are dominating in the league, doesn't mean they will dominate UCL as well. That is why I gave Chelsea example, because last season City dominated the league and then lost to Chelsea, which is why I feel like that's the type of situation City "may" find themselves in all over again.

Obviously it may not be like that, they may end up winning as well, what I am trying to say is not that they will lose, all I wanted to say is that there is a chance they may lose. I mean how many teams are leading a big league? Bayern with Bundesliga, PSG with ligue 1, Real Madrid with La Liga, City with EPL. We all know that eventually one of them will be eliminated, and maybe some team who doesn't even lead their league may end up winning as well.
1550  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: January 23, 2022, 05:14:27 PM
I can't believe that India lost his match when they were so close to a win. Even if Deepak Chahar was out and could not finish the match for India but what about the rest of the batsmen.  Jasprit Bumrah and Yuzvendra Chahal should have scored 8 runs in 13 balls but unfortunately, they could not do so. Quinton de Kock played some great innings in this series and he deserved the man of the series.
It is really a pathetic display from India and I remember the last tour of India to South Africa where India dominated the host in all departments and won the ODI series as well as Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav were peak in their form at those times. Now, India is struggling under new coach and captain and I guess it would be too blender mistake from India management to change both of these role at a same time as transition is becoming too hard unnecessarily.

Another thing, India need to address immediately is, hectic schedule of matches. India must be the only country, I guess keeps on playing since last T20 WC and in next 2 months, IPL will start again and not sure what are series are scheduled in between for those 2 months of time as revenue is the only goal for BCCI and performance is only next to that, it seems.
1551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 22, 2022, 09:53:03 PM
Lakers managed to beat Orlando but we have to remember that Orlando is literally at the bottom of the league with only 8 wins. So, it was always expected of Lakers to win against Orlando and for some reason people are acting like that is a big win. On top of that they are shopping Westbrook now, or at least that is what was talked about on Reddit, and Rockets were interested in him.

A Wall for Westbrook trade could realistically happen and that would be even worse for Lakers as well. Lakers just need to find a way to play Westbrook better, they haven't done that all year and they are acting like Westbrook is the problem. They should have gotten a better player to start off with, he just doesn't fit the system, but if they really want to change something then it should be their head coach and not westbrook, I am not his big fan but at least he is working hard.
1552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: January 22, 2022, 09:28:56 PM
Man City is 11 points clear of Liverpool which is in second place so Man City shouldn't really worry about the English Premier League right now.

And they are also in the top position in UEFA Champions League in their group. But they are only one point clear of PSG. So I don't think that this should be any problem for them too.

As @hahay previously mentioned they are used to rotations, these matches should not be a problem for Manchester City to win.

Anyway, Manchester City has a match against Southampton tonight which I think ok Manchester city is going to win easily unless something miracles happen.
Champions league is a different beast, City has been doing as well as hoped and still lost last year. I mean if you asked 100 people, 90+ would say that City would beat Chelsea but we know how it turned out. Champions league is elimination level and just because of that, it becomes a bit of a problem for teams like City. They could be great teams, they could be awesome in a league format, but when it comes to elimination games, they could lose some games.

We have seen this with Liverpool before as well, while becoming champions in their league, they were horrible at champions league and lost. So, it is not really easy to achieve it all at the same time, sometimes it takes a bit of a time. Maybe this is their year and they will be good, or maybe this is once again another year where they will realize being great in the league means nothing.
1553  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you have any favorite superstititions when trading crypto on: January 22, 2022, 09:04:53 PM
Well, of course even if you do believe in some superstitions that you think will bring luck to you, it does not mean that you should stop learning and trusting your own skills in trading. You should still improve it as much as you can, but believing in superstitions won't also bring any harm to us so why not try. After all, it if does not work, then we have nothing to lose. I really never have that beliefs when i trade, but mostly i don't trade when i see myself not motivated because it may only be the reason for me to fail in trading and lose my money.
No sense believing though especially if it's not grounded in logic and the virtue of believing in it is zero. Superstitions tend to make you doubt your move so you end up having to half ass your move and end up failing most of the time because you didn't put an all in because you are too scared due to some belief passed on to you.
There are two different type of superstitions that you could have, and one of them is not a problem or even good whereas the other could be a problem and you would be right. If the one you have is like "holding this special coin in my hand while trading" then you are basically still trading like you normally would without the coin but just holding a coin meanwhile and that would not change anything and it would not hurt you at all and that is not a problem at all.

However, if it is like "I have to buy at even numbers" or something that changes the way you gamble, then you could have a problem, like you are fine with selling at 37k or 35k but can't at 36? That could hurt you. So you need to know the difference between harmful and innocent versions.

..well, it's finally happened!

BV either central-server/-cloudflare-crapped itself out, or, pulled an exit.

Huh! And to think it is I - [..r a r e..] of all people, who would be first to bring up this website's total inaccessibility failure, the first such in over a year or two, i can't quite remember

How interesting the timing of this, and of a certain moderator's publicized actions a week ago.. hm..!

Had 2.08LTC & 140doge still in there =/
Yes it looks so coincidence, but as I can see lightlord is still online in this forum few minutes ago so he is still monitoring here and I believe he is aware of the situation in his casino and perhaps he is working to fix right now. Calm down first and wait although it is really unfortunate to see lightlord is still active but he is not willing to give an update on what is going on in his casino since months ago. His older site 777coin is still working normally, so lets have positive thinking first.

Edit: OK it is good now since Zodiac has confirmed about the situation.
I would say that it is not even about the fix, they can fix it and that could be done but the reality is that we can't always do this, we need to realize that we are not in a situation like that, we are talking about lightlord barely ever doing anything. The fact that he hasn't responded in months is a big proof of that.

Problems could happen, and zodiac mentioned that they are working on it and they will definitely fix it, they are good at development process of the business, but that is not enough. If zodiac is the new chief then we should know about it, he could be a high level staff as well and we need to know about it, that is very key right now.
1555  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to find a promising projects? on: January 22, 2022, 07:14:04 PM
Having experienced developers is a plus to know that the project have a future and that it is capable of handling the issues and activities of the project. It is needed to have a experience to determine how they can probably work on the project. Though when it comes in new projects that is not backed by know companies or personalities I prefer to buy them once they already have new development, been done with ICO projects before that just disappear after buying. Good thing now we can buy in a much secure trading sites than before.
That is why people ask for the team to doxx themselves in projects. The fact that if they scam you, at least you have their name and so forth matters, but at the same time it is not just for to make sure you won't be scammed, you could still be scammed and not be able to do anything about it. The main and biggest reason is that you could literally see them doing work before they started this one, and that matters.

If a person who is in charge or a project worked on another project for years, then it makes sense of him to start another project and that is a great deal, if that person is anonymous then how would we know if they did anything similar before? So, knowing who is in-charge of a project matters a lot when it comes to crypto, it allows you to know if you should trust them or not and without trust then there is nothing in crypto left to invest.
1556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you use stable coins? on: January 22, 2022, 06:30:04 PM
Maybe your concerns are much different from mine. I'm more worried about the Fiat at the moment. If crypto continues to grow, there is a possibility that Fiat will be abandoned and become a stable coin as a replacement for Fiat. The security level of stable coins is much higher compared to Fiat. If you deposit large amounts of money in the bank, is there any guarantee that your money will be safe? If the defendants in the bank ran away and took all your money, would the state that gave the license to the bank pay all your money? The financial authorities limit you to keep a certain amount of money in the bank. If you save more than the specified amount, the financial authorities will not provide any guarantees.
Okay so we have two possible outcomes, one is a bank running with your money, and the other is tether running with your money. Which one do you really think is more possible? I mean not like banks never collapse, they do, and I have seen it but it is such a rare occasion that it is not a common threat.

Plus, governments guarantee a certain amount of your money as well, which makes it easier for people to trust banks unless they have a huge amount. Whereas Tether is just a company and they are not even registered in most important places, last I remember they had like BAHAMAS registration or something. Which one looks more suspicious? I have to say even though I dislike fiat, I rather hold dollars than USDT (although I prefer crypto over dollars as well).
1557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The faith of Altcoins in 2022 on: January 21, 2022, 09:49:37 PM
The altcoin market witnessed some new development and projects such as the web 3 NFTs and the discovery of the metaverse which are now the rave of the moment, this and many more are the happenings that characterize the altcoin market with its wave being transferred to this year 2022. I guess the altcoin faith is left hanging at the moment and a lot of analysis has gone ahead which all point to a more groundbreaking development ahead.
Everyone looks like they are losing money left and right and they are complaining about the drop and the doom/gloom of the market seems at all time high. This looks like the perfect time to get into crypto right now. I do not have too much money and I am looking into some investments but if it doesn't happen I am going 25% btc, 25% eth, 25% bnb, and lastly 25% ltc.

I will honestly do this with the money I have right now, it is definitely possible for these to increase a lot. Even if they do 2x, it will not be a huge amount for me, I am not rich, but no matter how much it increases, it is better than keep the money at same value, going higher even if it is a little amount still matters.
1558  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Most Popular Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - Watford & UFC Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: January 21, 2022, 08:42:23 PM
Requirement of KYC for gambling is still bad, but not as bad as requiring it for withdrawals of course because that is just horrible. Stake (and primedice when it first started) never really had any issues with KYC requirements, nobody really blamed them with anything.

You get to gamble without KYC as much as you want, you could also withdraw without doing KYC as well and then maybe even continue gambling without KYC as well. So all in all you could spend years here without KYC, then one day if anything suspicious happens you end up with KYC option, either you do it and keep gambling or you don't and just stop, but you lose nothing in either cases.
I both agree and disagree. I believe that KYC for withdrawal is definitely bad, there is no question about that, however I do not think that KYC for continue to gamble is not really fair neither. This is why if there will ever be a KYC situation then it should be either way before you start gambling, like when you sign up, so that you would not face that ever again, or it should never exist and should never be asked at all.

When you let people do what they want, and then suddenly ask for it, then you may let them get their money but then they have left you an account if they do not want to KYC. What happens if I only deposit and gamble and have like a very high VIP level account and then one day I get super lucky and win something big and I want to withdraw that and I am asked KYC. That would indicate I would end up leaving a high VIP level account if I do not want to continue, still not cool.
1559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: January 21, 2022, 03:40:01 PM
I am disappointed to see India's bowling today. The bowlers' performance in the previous match was a bit better. Their performance today is disgusting. They could not take a single wicket in 21 overs. South Africa scored 128 runs in 21 overs. Janneman Malan scored 49 off 63 balls and De Kock scored 77 off 63 balls. Only 160 runs are needed to win. After losing the Test series, India will also lose the ODI series as well.
South africa are 196-1 right now. Very ordinary bowling from the Indian and it is going to be another easy win for south africa. These are not good signs for indian team as their bowling unit does not look like taking wickets. Apart from bumrah no other bowler is bowling well. I think time has came to an end for Bhuvneshwar kumar.
Right now, it seems this match is turning upside down. India suddenly took 2 quick wickets to make South Africa into back foot but in these modern days hitting at 5.2 run rate is not a big problem for any team with 7 wickets in hand. Still, if India will be able to keep chipping up wickets then I guess we are going to have this series alive at the end of the day.

Right now, Dussen and Markram are batting with ease as they do not need to rush for scoring below 6 per over. Venkatesh Iyer got ball today and it seems he may more over toward the end as Bhubaneshwar Kumar and Ashwin are too expensive today.

The possibility of playing with tiny amounts of money in crypto casinos also contributed to make them popular among a public who doesn't have a lot of money to risk, but who still wants to bet, have fun and potentially grow their funds like every gambler else.
Moreover, I do see this kind of psychological thing; it is like I may hesitate to spend $10 cash but I am not have same time of feeling when spending using my bank card or bitcoins; I mean that by heart I am not getting the feeling of money handling while I do transact in bitcoins, honestly. I am sure this type of psychological approach must be the reason why and how bitcoin and other cryptocurrency based gambling boomed.

I am sure the next big thing in gambling industry definitely based on crypto based and not on fiat casinos. I mean when most people prefer the advanced one hence the innovations will happen on most preferred place and not in outdated ones.
