No online password security will be as strong as storing offline, either it's 2FA or 3FA Authentication do not use them to store your wallet's private seed.

There is no malware, spyware or hackers without online/ internet access, think about it, the only way to stay safe is offline 100%.

Writing seeds down on a paper book or steel carving is the best practice ever.
1542  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The mistake I made some years ago on: January 05, 2023, 05:49:05 AM
The size of your images are too big, kindly use height=400 to lower the size.

I have used BTC to invest in a Ponzi scheme called MMM years ago and I bought BTC worth of 200$ at the time, I am very sure the that value today will be in thousands of dollars, some times we learn the hardest way to gain more knowledge.

At least you still get your life going, you are still alive so you still have the chance to make a big difference someday, do not give up to, buy BTC and HOLd, we can see a new All Time High in 2025 or so.
1543  Other / Beginners & Help / Newbies do not be fooled by developers on: January 04, 2023, 04:49:36 PM
Many projects are starting to show up, some are testnet phase as we speak but I am not interested in any because they are all same old projects with different names, I could say that developers think we are all fools but what about those investors that are too stupid to think and do good research?

Almost 99% of new projects are same copies of the old projects with different name, do not be a fool investors, spend time to do your own research.

Developers mostly don't have your interest at heart, we all know it's all about the money but they aren't doing something new that worth our money, make sure you do your diligent research.
1544  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will 2023 be another up year for Bitcoin? on: January 04, 2023, 09:45:22 AM
I think 2023 is a perfect year for crypto accumulation, crypto market will start gearing up for the next huge moves this year, Btc halving will also be another big boost for the market in April 2024. I refuse to be a sitting duck this year.

If you are a long-term investor like me make sure you put your mind on 2025 because I believe that's when we will see another ATH for bitcoin, always take advantage of the dips and they won't last forever.
1545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What are your wishes for BTC in coming years? on: January 04, 2023, 06:34:14 AM
Happy Birthday  KING 👑 BTC

May all the inhabitants in every corners on mother earth have your love in mind and adopts yours precious Satoshis, more adoptions in coming years and more centralized wars to be defeated, Long Life and Prosperity KING.

Bitcointalk friends and famz,  what are your best bitcoin wishes in the coming years?

Do you think that with the lower inflation rate and upcoming halving Bitcoin can finally be put side by side with Gold?

Are there any possible ways that Bitcoin can be regulated without Nakamoto? I think only centralized exchanges will remain regulated and projects like Bitcoin can't be touched. What do you think?

Will banks and BTC forever remain enemies or something new will come up? I asked this because a BTC group bought an old bank 🏦 and I don't see any reason why.

1546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin birthday reminder: You could have been a millionaire using this tool on: January 04, 2023, 05:44:35 AM
Who could have thought that Bitcoin will work out as intended? No one, that's why people sold their Bitcoin very early, I played with a few faucets years ago and I sold everything for less money, no regrets.

Today it's harder to sell Bitcoin because we have come to understand how valuable this asset is, Bitcoin is the hardest asset to get for free, it's the most scarce with very low inflation, mostly on par with Gold.

1547  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Willing To Get Educated On The Bitcointalk Forum on: January 03, 2023, 05:09:12 PM
Hello there?
As a brand-new member of this community, I am really happy to have found it and eager to meet new individuals who can inform me about Bitcointalk.org.
As they say, "a single drop of water cannot make an ocean," I am eager to learn from anybody who is willing to help a brother and expose me to this platform. I recently joined Bitcointalk.org and now I realize there are many things to comprehend on this topic that I can't achieve on my own.
We are all newbies once upon a time, my advice is you should take your time to read the forum rules to avoid getting banned, if you are new to crypto I suggest you do your own research using google and if you have some parts that are unclear to you then create topics about them on the forum for users to drop their opinions, I bet you will be fine and you will get used to the forum as time goes by.

You are welcome to the forum.
1548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful with new projects that introduce new Stable coins on: January 03, 2023, 04:06:47 PM
I don't understand why there are so many stablecoins and why everyone wants to have one. It's pointless, and they most likely won't move the giants of this market.
How is having your money in stablecoin pointless? Do you even understand why Stablecoins existed? Judging from your comment it looks like you don't even know why every crypto investor needs Stablecoin, it is impossible to make gains holding Stablecoins but they keep your value in check, 1$ remains 1$ and while the market is dropping your money stays the same.

If you want go get the best deals on crypto in a bear market you need stablecoins to avoid volatility and buy when the opportunity arises.
1549  Other / Archival / Re: [POLL]What do you expect from Bitcoin in 2023? on: January 03, 2023, 09:59:30 AM
The next target now is 13k and yes it is possible and also may never come to reality, instead of trying to see how this will go it is better to start accumulating right now, things happen very fast in this market that's why it's dangerous to believe that you can find the bottom.

I am not expecting anything big this year and this may be the final bearish year for crypto since halving is in 2024 so I will just keep buying what I can and prepare for the future.
1550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Dev is not your friend, so be careful. on: January 03, 2023, 08:12:39 AM
If you see a new project and you are tempted to invest in it you are stupid because new projects require tough research first, there is a chance that the project is a scam so before clicking the buy button you have to be sure what you are getting into.

Developers are here to make money, let that sink into your head, if we turn the table around and you become a dev yourself will you work for free? So it's always about the money.
1551  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: THE RIGHT TIME TO MOVE IN on: January 03, 2023, 07:11:22 AM
Do not try to find the bottom, that's the biggest problem many people have, they will keep saying that Bitcoin will go to 10k or 9k and they will not buy a thing, instead it's better to start buying right now from time to time. Do not go all in, just take advantage of every new bottom.

I started accumulating Bitcoin at 17k in June 2022 and till this day I am not done yet, I will keep doing this till June 2024, a long-term hold makes you a winner.
1552  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Expectation for 2023 on: January 02, 2023, 05:44:36 PM
News is the last thing you want to listen to when it comes to crypto, out of hundreds of news out there only bad news about crypto are genuine, others are mostly fakes, OP this is the only invalid point on your list that I won't agree with..

We have "buy the rumour sell the news" for a reason.
1553  Economy / Trading Discussion / Is it true that this AI is good for trading? on: January 02, 2023, 01:10:58 PM
I keep seeing videos on Youtube related to how good this A.I project called ChatGPT is very good trading and we all know how unreliable those YouTubers are, so I bring this on here instead, have you use this A.I project for trading yet? Any one?

UPDATE

Sorry guys its actually OpenAI not ChatGPT

1554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How dangerous is this on: January 02, 2023, 10:18:46 AM
I am trying to connect my wallet to a dex called position.exchange and I get a warning via my Trust wallet🤦, the warning tip is below

I visited the website through coinmarketcap just to be sure I got the right link and this is project token has over 2million dollars in daily volume, I don't know why the warning is up...

The funny thing is I have used the platform before and things went smoothly, I never got this same warning at the time, I think it's just a month ago.
1555  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How important are exchanges? on: January 02, 2023, 09:48:55 AM
Well bitcoin can be used without exchange but using exchange can make the popularity of bitcoin to make people engage in the platform which I think it will be better for us to the exchange.

Yeah, that was said in the original post. TBH I prefer not to use centralized exchanges, and especially not to hold there any of my crypto. FTX collapse should be a lesson for everyone.
Is there any decentralised exchanges that supports P2P because the reason why I am still using Binance exchange today is because this is the only way I can exchange Fiat to crypto.

It seems that only centralized exchanges have this feature till date, I have no choice but to stick with a centralised exchange for using Fiat to buy crypto, I have no other options.
1556  Other / Off-topic / Re: Mistakes Successful People Never Make Twice on: January 02, 2023, 08:03:12 AM
What will be will be.

Even if you are so careful in this crypto space and you understand every rightful and wrongful things, what will fail will fail and you will still make some mistakes.

We are humans after all and there are many things we can't control, I could have become a crypto millionaire a few times before and I missed those opportunities after every thing I knew about crypto, if the time is not right for you things won't go your way.
1557  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: As a newbie I stay off shitcoin and it paid off, Bitcoin is the king. on: January 02, 2023, 06:45:21 AM
Altcoins are full of sad stories in a bear market and they are the best in a bull market it terms of ROI, I think its more safer to invest in Bitcoin right now and when the next halving in near you can start buying altcoins again, we still don't know what will happen this year so altcoins have higher chances of going even deeper.

I don't mind seeing my portfolio losing value because I am in this till 2025 so I am already buying bit by bit and I will keep doing so till next year 2024, it is easier to keep waiting and missing out in the end, it happened in last bear market, everyone expected more pain and things changed when they least expected.

1558  Economy / Economics / Re: Passive Income? New Start-Up Would Pay you to Share Personal Data on: January 01, 2023, 05:10:49 PM
I don't like this idea, for me it's a No but there are many people in the world today that are suffering financially due to a bad country's economy, and they will do anything to get rid of their problem.

Do not sell your personal data for some dollars because your data won't be safe in the hands of third-party companies or platforms, they will promise that your data is safe but it's not.
1559  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New here on: January 01, 2023, 09:30:36 AM
I hope you pick the right altcoins because things can get more ugly this year just like 2020 but no problem if you are in this for a long term, I am not done accumulating yet but I invested some money too early, now I am down 400$, I will start buying more before this 1st quarter ends.

Keep an eye on the altcoins you pick, some will get worse and the best way is to switch to other altcoins, do not buy and sleep on them.
1560  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My dream has become a reality on: January 01, 2023, 07:11:56 AM
I have always dreamed of accepting Bitcoin as a means of payment since the year 2017 even before I became a master in my money-making haven ( fashion designer ) and now the time has finally come, today I start accepting Bitcoin payments. Yippy 💥💥💥
You've been hoping to accept bitcoin for a means of payment for your services since 2017 and you've just got to realise it in the year 2022, that took a long time coming. It seems a little sketchy with the fact that, your account was created only Feb, 2022, this year. Although Although means very little as its very possible to be in the cryptospace and not own an account on the forum but, I Sort of expected a little more from one that has been aware of the cryptocurrency innovation since 2017. It was an opportunistic year and being enthusiastic about it could have been pushed you towards some investments as what I see now gives me the impression of you just starting your journey not so long ago. My thoughts though,  it doesn't mean truth.

Be it as it may, your bitcoin adoption for a payment media is encouraging and I hope you take every necessary steps to ensure safety and continuity.
I knew about Bitcoin in 2017 not Bitcointalk and I did bought some Bitcoin then, to say the truth I was shaky because I don't trust the tech since I don't know too much about it and no one was talking about it, in 2017 It felt like I was the only one.

Later I came to understand more about Bitcoin and I read on news about some countries accepting Bitcoin for means of payment in their stores, remember the coffee guy? Yeah the one that used 100s of BTC to pay for cups of coffee, I knew the story then.

So I thought to myself, that one day when I open my own store/business I will start accepting Bitcoin, I was an apprentice in 2018, still learning fashion designer at the time, I served for 3 years before opening my own fashion designing business.
