1541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think this is a good idea? on: November 11, 2017, 12:23:17 PM
you shouldn't really be asking questions like this. make your own speculation and then act on it. but remember sometimes selling is just as risky as not selling.

i personally don't think $5000 is possible there may be more drop but not that big. but if you think it is then sell now and wait for it to be reached and buy back.
1542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we wait for an Ethereum fork after Parity problem? on: November 10, 2017, 01:21:15 PM
not a chance.
because of two main reasons:
1. the amount is not that big although it is millions of dollars. and this is not the first time their multi sig is being hacked and not the smallest hack either.
2. the developers like Vitalik are not using parity nor multi sig features so their funds weren't lost like DAO so they don't care.
1543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice from a newbie on: November 10, 2017, 01:13:12 PM
very good advice but:

.... shit coins are gone....
shitcoins are where the most profit lies in this market. specially if we are talking about those coins with a very low price (my favorite are those with less than 100K or better less than 10K satoshi price). these shitcoins can get pumped a lot and they do it fast and efficient. there is no time wasted. it starts getting pumped and in 24-48 hours the price is upto 5 times higher with a large enough volume that anyone can make good profit from.

i am not saying this as an advice or anything, but it is good to have that in mind...
1544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BCC: HODL!! on: November 10, 2017, 01:05:17 PM
this was the easiest speculation of this past 2 months!
they even (indirectly) promised to pump bitcoin cash when the SegWit2x time comes and the first leg up was the pump because of the anticipation of the pump and now we are on the second phase because of the 2x fork itself.

even ViaBtc is in on it with their blocks saying "bitcoin cash" in them.
this was the perfect opportunity to double or triple your bitcoins while the pump lasts.

be careful not HODL it too long though Wink
1545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wages being paid in crypto on: November 10, 2017, 12:49:08 PM
it is not yet possible and if you get paid in bitcoin you will have to spend more money for using it. because there are not enough places that accept bitcoin so you will have to keep converting back to fiat and that will always cost you (different fiat related fees and exchange fees).
for example if you want to pay your rent or buy groceries or pay for taxi you still need fiat, you can't pay them with bitcoin! not yet anyways.
1546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is bitcoin cash the new real bitcoin? time to buy? on: November 10, 2017, 12:43:17 PM
Will bitcoin cash really replace bitcoin? will it rise to bitcoins value of 7000 and more?

no and no. not a chance in hell Wink
bitcoin cash is an altcoin with no adoption and zero usages. it is however a manipulated altcion which gets pumped and dumped a lot which means there is a lot of profit in short term while it is rising but you have to make sure to dump it on time, not too soon to miss the maximum profit and not too late to miss profit at all.
1547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Beware telegram scammer! "signal channel" on: November 09, 2017, 02:17:13 PM
all the channels on telegram and all the other social media places that claim to be giving "trading signals" are scams. it is like code name for scamming gullible people who are desperate to make money with altcoin trading!

it is never going to work. best case scenario is that they have already bought as much as they can and then they tell "you" to buy it so that they can dump on your head. and worst case scenario is that they go against the market and you both get dumped on!!!
1548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sewgit2x for better or for worse? on: November 09, 2017, 02:07:46 PM
I think fork isn't a good thing for bitcoin
Why is bitcoin so high right now?
Because the fork still hasn't come

So the only thing that is most important to you is your profit huh? I guess the upcoming fork will have a more better benefit on all of us, because the main purpose of it was all about improvement. That is why it is now postponed because they wanted it to be MORE BETTER!

Looks like the segwit2x camp is further divided as some of the miners are looking to continue with the hard fork, though with significantly less support. Furthermore, even though I commend Garzik and his crew for listening to the community, the cancellation was done so hastily that I suspect they have lost a lot of the faith of the 2x community.

how do you even know what some miners are looking to do or not do?

we just heard the news about them not moving ahead with the hard fork from the developer (Jeff Garzik) and the biggest miner (Jihan Wu). the rest of them have not made any statements yet and as far as their signaling goes, it always takes time for them to update their servers to stop having NYA in their coinbase
1549  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Forecast: Is the Bitcoin Price Destined for $60,000 or $600? on: November 09, 2017, 02:00:42 PM
you gotta know who these "half"s you are quoting here are. most of them are not even speculators but excited random people and the rest may be speculators but they have hidden agendas they want to fulfill.
and it works on both ways not just FUD but also those who keep saying 1 million, 500K,... want a rise so that they can sell the same way the other who say $2500, $600,... want a tiny drop so they can buy or short and make profit.
1550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Intelligent money is here to stay on: November 09, 2017, 01:52:28 PM
this is half true about bitcoin and not at all true about the altcoins so using the term cryptocurrencies and making it look like all of them are the same is not at all true.
specially when it comes to volatility, the altcoins are pump and dump and that means they are the most volatile thing in the whole world and as far as bitcoin is involved things have not changed in the volatility front that much. the wild swings still happen even if they are smaller now.

Hear me, the Dollar will collapse next year, Put your money in CryptoCurrencies.

and this is bad advice. mostly because "dollar will collapse next year" has been repeated every year for who knows how long and it never happens and it is best if you only invest in what is safe such as Gold and bitcoin not all cryptocurrencies. for example we just learned that ETH wallet was hacked again. that means your money could have been lost if it was in ETH. simple as that!
1551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: AltCoin pump over already ?? to late to buy ?? on: November 09, 2017, 01:47:04 PM
in my experience the biggest mistake that most people make in altcoin investment is that they think altcoins all move together and they define things such as "portfolio" for themselves. if you ask me that is a wrong strategy.
in the altcoin market there are always only 2 or 3 altcoins that are getting pumped and are profitable. the rest are in dumping mode. if you want profit out of this market you have to invest in those 2 or 3 and only during their pumping phase not afterwards.
1552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALT hodl'ers vs BTC/ETH bulls - What to make of ALT's moving forward on: November 07, 2017, 11:26:09 AM
if altcoins wanted to move forward their developers would have worked more on real world utilities instead of more on advertising and pumping the coin to be able to dump their premined coins.

all the rest are just excuses. bitcoin rises and everyone finds an excuse to dump the altcoins. bitcoin falls then they find another excuse to dump altcoins some more.
then the altcoin releases a new version of their wallet and they use that as an excuse to pump it for a week before they dump it again!

if you want to make profit then find those "excuses" that makes them pump or dump the coins and act accordingly Wink
1553  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Trade with 3 parties on: November 07, 2017, 11:07:09 AM
you can always use a multi signature bitcoin address for this purpose. from what i understood a 2 of 3 signature is what you are looking for.
buyer and seller and you each have 1 key. the transaction will require 2 signatures to be valid. when the trade completes one other party signs the transaction with his key and then you sign it with your key and the trade will be complete.

if you want to be paid in this process you can choose a 3 of 3 one then all parties have to sign the transaction which pays the seller and your fee in one place.

1554  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Anyone use YoBit anymore? on: November 07, 2017, 10:55:59 AM
if you don't plan on making either a deposit or a withdrawal of 80% of the altcoins listed on Yobit, then you can use their services without any issues. you can deposit bitcoin, make profit and withdraw your bitcoin + the profit out with ease.
although it is risky because yobit is shady but most other exchanges (even the big ones) are shady these days so it is not that bad. but it is best to choose others if you can.
1555  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Vs. BCH (For Investment) on: November 07, 2017, 10:46:04 AM
1) BTC is bitcoin and the only cryptocurrency. the rest including BCH or bitcoin cash are altcoins and they are copy cats of bitcoin which call themselves cryptocurrency but i  say as long as they are not used or designed to use as a currency they should not call themselves that.

2) try bitinfocharts.com or similar websites, they may have what you need.

3) no. it is always best to get involved with altcoins in short term not as hedge or anything else. they fall so often and when they do they fall big.

4) that is something you need to come up with on your own. i am a bitcoin hodler, i invest in bitcoin and use altcoins for trading purposes only!
1556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Real estate for Bitcoins on: November 07, 2017, 10:38:36 AM
these days lots of different things are being traded for bitcoin or better say bought with bitcoin. it is a currency after all. and even before they "officialized" it you could have bought anything you wanted with bitcoin, you just have to find someone who is accepting bitcoin in return for that item. and that is still true.
this is what a decentralized currency means! you find a peer and make a contract with them (verbal would suffice too) and do the exchange.
1557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrops. With its impact on value of coin, good time to sell? on: November 05, 2017, 01:02:43 PM
when people receive free shit they tend to want to use them not store them away. and when they receive an airdrop for free they want to dump it. and even if a small number of them dump it, the price will come down a little and that is enough for the rest to start panic selling and that is when prices come down real big.
that is why most people dump their coins as soon as they receive the free things.
and when the airdrop is big and is giving lots of coins away that means they are practically creating that much bigger sell pressure.
1558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: which alt coin can keep 1-3 years with 100x profit? on: November 05, 2017, 12:56:23 PM
in 1-3 years? nothing and if anything reaches that high in the future, we certainly can not predict it now. that is just impossible because none of the altcoins have that much demand for them or usability to go up that high.

in 1 week to 1 month? a lot of them become good candidates. specially those small altcoins which have pretty low prices below 10,000 satoshi. they can get pumped hard and big. much bigger than 100x.
1559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yobit and Segwit2X BTC hardfork on: November 05, 2017, 12:39:06 PM
i am sure they will add a SegWit2x market pretty soon. Yobit is known to take advantage of these things pretty fast because they want to attract most volume possible. i remember the first time they did this with LISK where they started the market without the coin even being released!
they also did the same with Bitcoin Gold.
and we already know exchanges only care about volume and how much money they can get from it.

check your Email if you have signed up on Yobit, they will send you an email soon.
1560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BTG worth the trouble? on: November 05, 2017, 12:32:41 PM
As the title says, would you claim your BTG or you would pass? I hear many bad stuff about it and the possibility that you could lose your btc.

there is not much of a trouble. many have already claimed their BTG by depositing BTC in exchanges before the snapshot was taken and have already received their tokens.

and claiming it doesn't seem to be that hard either. i hear there is a bounty for someone to create an electrum version for BTG. if they complete it in time, then it will be like a piece of cake to claim the tokens.

as for losing bitcoin, it was because of the risk about replay attacks but since BTG now has replay protection the risk is not an issue anymore. you just have to be careful to download the right thing not an impostor.
