1541  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Type of Gambler Am I? on: June 25, 2022, 01:53:54 PM
I must say I belong to the "Conservative Gamblers", simply because I don't intend to go all the way, I have discipline when it comes to gambling and though I lose sometimes I never lose more than what I can afford to lose because I stick with my budget.

Conservative Gamblers I believe are responsible gamblers, we like to enjoy gambling but at the same time we know how to manage the risk.
1542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can You See Or Tell If A Fight Or Event Is Fix ? on: June 25, 2022, 01:19:30 PM

A fixed game or a fight is confidential, therefore both parties are discussing it. The other one is after the title, and the other one is after the money.

But there's always a chance that the information is leaked, remember that no secrets are safe when the purpose is cheating. Fix game is hard to find though unless you are from the inside or you have inside information, but it's operated by a syndicate so it's a very risky idea to associate with these people.
1543  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook |250k$ Easter giveaway | VIP | on: June 25, 2022, 12:27:51 PM
For those who are sports betting lovers, especially tennis lovers, the latest promotion from duelbits for bettors at Wimbledon Grand Slam.
A jackpot amout will be based on the aces that occur every day from that Graand Slam tournament, this is daily jackpot so everyday if you place a bet on that tournament will get ticket.
https://twitter.com/Duelbits/status/1540447405740531712
https://duelbits.com/promotions/Ace's-daily-ace-jackpot

Interesting promotion but the downside is that you will need to have a lot of luck to win the jackpot as only 1 person can win it every day. As an addition, the minimum bet is 1$ and minimum odds is 1.5 (on every market). Hopefully we see some more tennis promotions when Wimbledon really starts in 2 days.

It’s better than previous giveaways which doesn't have any requirements that related on betting in the casino to participate. Atleast with this event, Multiple account cheater on giveaway will be eliminated because duelbits security is very strict on multiple account issue. Joining on this kind of giveaway is worthy to give a shot compared to just simply like and retweet requirements which is prone for abused and doesn't give chance to all legit participants.

Is there any promotion for basketball games? Right now, I enjoyed watching basketball games more than any other games, I don't know if Duelbit has a promotion during the NBA playoffs because I didn't bother checking the ANN thread, I just go directly to the site and bet.
1544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet on transgender only events? on: June 25, 2022, 09:44:56 AM
I'm not interested in betting on their sports, however, if it's in my favorite sports and they will allow a transgender, then I have no choice but to put my bet as I don't want to sacrifice my wants to be entertained by the kind of debate on whether they are allowed to play or not.

Personally, I treat differently the sports that I just want for fun and the sports that I bet on because I'm serious when it comes to betting.
1545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: June 25, 2022, 09:19:01 AM
He already reached his limitation, he cannot challenge Bivol again, or other champions in a higher division, he just has to stay in a division where he reigns before he will retire, and winning this fight against GGG would be a good comeback from a bad defeat against Bivol.

One loss and already reached his limitation? He can come back again. He just needs to be fully prepared physically and mentally. I think he is too confident that's why he was being surprised by Bivol. Now that he knows how fighting Bivol is, he can ask for a rematch later in the future. But it's not simple as Bivol is chasing titles. Canelo should bring a title of his own first before he can face Bivol again. Bivol is fighting for titles and not to destroy popular names.

Winning against GGG is not a considered comeback too. GGG is old enough. Not any impact if Canelo wins here.

If he really want to beat Bivol, then he should choose the rematch than the trilogy with GGG. I think Canelo already realized that he cannot beat Bivol and I don't think he wasn't prepared in that fight, knowing him, he is a great fighter, it's just that he cannot break his power and speed in the heavier weight division.
1546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: June 24, 2022, 01:54:13 PM
F***ing Bob Arum made a deal already for lineal champion Artur Beterbiev to defend his 3 belts in England against Anthony Yarde. Right after the fight, Beterbiev clearly said he wanted to unify the 4 belts in order to become undisputed. Beterbiev is already 37, time is his enemy. He needs to fight the last remaining belt holder Dmity Bivol. Canelo Alvarez a guy who always wanted to challenge himself will surely try again if that fight is for the undisputed belts. In this 4 belt era, there was never been a 2 division undisputed champion. Canelo might become the first one.
We will have to wait and see, Canelo may like to test himself again but truth to be told he did not looked right on his fight with Bivol, he seemed to be very heavy and he could not deal with the additional weight, he lost punching power and Bivol had no problem dealing with him.

However before we think about those things Canelo needs to beat GGG in a convincing way, otherwise the rumors about the previous fights being rigged will never disappear.

He already reached his limitation, he cannot challenge Bivol again, or other champions in a higher division, he just has to stay in a division where he reigns before he will retire, and winning this fight against GGG would be a good comeback from a bad defeat against Bivol.
1547  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which crypto sportbooks are VPN friendly on: June 24, 2022, 11:12:34 AM
Dunno if there is a list somewhere but i was wondering if some of the crypto sportbooks are VPN friendly and which sportbooks are those?

In my country unfortunately a lot of the crypto sportbooks are blocked, was wondering if some of them offer solution to it.

Been looking through older posts but cant find a clear answer about it.

I think VPN is already, there's no need for a casino to advertise that they allow the use of VPN. As long as VPN is not used to break the TOS of the gambling site, I think there should be no problem using it.
1548  Economy / Gambling / Re: BK8 - Biggest and Most Trusted Brand. Asia's #1 Crypto online casino BTC & USDT on: June 24, 2022, 10:55:58 AM
Looks like BK8 hasn't run a competition on the forums for a long time.
Any suggestions from you guys?what competitions would be interesting? (maybe Word cup)

I like this one.

I'm going to join the competition if you are planning to hold it here.
World cup is a big event, so why not?

Anything as long as sports betting, I'm going to participate.
1549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Pros and Cons of Bitcoin Gambling on: June 24, 2022, 06:57:43 AM
It's not private anymore if a casino will require us to comply with the KYC.

Though there are still a lot of casinos that really offer anonymous gambling, the moment they get a license, it's just like they are turning into a fiat casino because they are already regulated, hence gamblers have to comply with the regulation.

It's only private if it's a "real decentralized" system that we are using, unfortunately, it does not work that way becuase bitcoin is only a payment method and we still follow the typical type of gambling.
1550  Economy / Gambling / Re: hello Players!! on: June 24, 2022, 06:15:52 AM
To be honest, I'm not attracted with the UI of the site, like they said, "first impression last", so I suggest you improve your UI so you'll be able to compete with the popular gambling sites in the space. It's very important that the gambling site is very pleasant to the eyes of the gamblers, appearance is very important as that's the first thing they'll notice.

I thought it's only me that has this challenge. Any site that I visit, I check out gor two things and choose if I will remain or leave immediately. The aesthetics of the site, which happens to do much with the choice of color. With the variation knowledge of colors, a good site should have just two colors (primary and secondary colors), the third color should be for tweaks using it with opacity.
What again I look at is the user friendliness. If I see myself search for a particular icon for more than 30secs, the site is not user friendly.
For start ups, the first things matter, UI is a welcome address.
OP has to improve it or change the UI so it will be attractive, our standard now is high because we were able to play with other gambling sites with good UI and they also have a lot of promotion, that's why the competition in the market is really tight.
1551  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin Casinos Vs Ethereum Casinos on: June 24, 2022, 05:39:28 AM
Apart from transaction fees and transaction time, Ethereum is not anyhow ahead of Bitcoins.
The main reason for which people choose Ethereum Casinos over Bitcoin Casinos is due to the low transaction fees of Ethereum.
On the other hand Bitcoin is widely popular and in almost all crypto casinos it is accepted.
If you ask me for my opinion, I would still go for Bitcoin casinos over Ethereum in this bull market also.
This opinion might vary from users to user, but yes as a sole Bitcoin lover, I will prefer Bitcoin casinos over anything.

As of the article below, the average transaction fee of ETH is 0.7358 USD, that's affordable but the moment the market is in bull run, that will just increase and gamblers won't be able to afford on the fees again.

https://ycharts.com/indicators/ethereum_average_transaction_fee

Most gamblers like a fast and cheap(affordable transaction fee) because most of the gamblers does gamble only a small amount of money, and they frequently make deposits and withdrawals.
1552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is it so hard to win at gambling? on: June 23, 2022, 03:29:04 PM

so, even though i am a gambling addict but i understand that winning is impossible so i can control myself
but don't you have the will to win?
i have the will to win, but not expect too  Smiley
sometimes i get emotional too when several times i place bet on blackjack, always losing, the desire to win makes me even more angry. but when i'm emotional and angry, my friends and wife always remind me by saying "control your emotions it's just a game".
so with my habit of always being given advice from friends or wife when angry, i became used to it and when i lost placing a bet i calmed my own mind by saying "this is just entertainment"
Myself doesn't really need any advise yet I could able to control myself yet I've been putting into my mind that stop immediately when I'm at deep loss or spending the funds which aren't supposed to be spent on gambling and when you are a type of person who do have this kind of behavior then you do really have a good self control of everything specially on gambling situations. We do always mind about winning but entertainment should be your main priority.
Self-control is a hard challenge but when you master controlling yourself then you would be in a much different phase, much different from a person who's a slave in his mind. Personally, it's just a matter of mind over body and if we don't want to see ourselves in a rough situation then I guess we should try to control ourselves more often. That's right, entertainment is the one we should covet and if we had some winnings along the path then just consider it as a bonus because we came for entertainment and surely that comes with a price.
1553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna - July 19 on: June 21, 2022, 07:19:43 PM

That was an arranged fight, we can really expect a mismatch for Tagoe and Garcia..

How do you know it was an arranged fight? I mean tagoe was like 32-0 and who's boxer losses his mind to sell his precious career record for a lose?
That was clearly a mismatch, it wasn't arranged, it was cherry picked. People were deceived by Tagoe's record as if he's worthy to beat as an opponent for Garcia. That guy Tagoe might have fought a bunch of mediocre boxers.
Obviously, he has no chance on winning fighting toe to toe against a faster and younger Garcia.

Maybe he finds arranged and cherry-picked synonymous with each other, but each word has its own distinctive meaning as the correct term for that was Oscar cherry-picked Tagoe. We can remember that it was an interim fight for Ryan Garcia to get him back on track after his mental issues and inactivity after he fought Campbell.

Oscar thought that Tagoe can be a big challenge to the kid so that Garcia will be ready to fight Kambosos Jr. but Tagoe was very disappointing to see running in the ring.
1554  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling Brand Name Vs Site Functionality? Or Both? on: June 21, 2022, 06:24:28 PM
There are already thousands of Gambling websites online and to start one and beat your competition, you need to be far better than already existing one's.
I would say name doesn't matter that much as compared to site functionality. If I am able to Deposit, Withdraw and perform all the operations with ease, I would choose that website.
Also, having able to deposit/withdraw in multiple assets/methods helps a lot.
It is true the competition on the gambling industry is fierce but at the same time it is precisely because of it that you need to find any single edge you can.

And while without a doubt the functionality of the website is the most important aspect of the businesses operation, a good name can make the marketing campaign way easier and cheaper to run, something which is not a small accomplishment at all as the bigger and most powerful casinos spend a great deal of their money on finding ways to promote their brand.

Indeed, both site functionality and brand name are definitely important but site functionality comes first as it's the most important in the site because gamblers are surely looking for some casinos which offer comfort, a reliable service, without a single bug, a good customer service and of course, some freebies that gamblers would surely bite. The brand name on the other hand, also needed to be created carefully as they surely wanted a name that will etch in the customer's memories for a long time.
1555  Economy / Gambling / Re: risk of kyc on crypto casinos ? on: June 21, 2022, 05:49:02 PM
Looking for more crypto casino options, used to play on stake but had kyc asked over,is there any that has absolutely 0% chance of that being asked ?

ps: if you are a winning player (i know its rare or impossible) or won a big jackpot on any crypto casino, i would like some tips if you can,i can pay for your time,my telegram is @ ellieljonzz
Like what you said above , it is rare or impossible if you are a winning player so by any chance you already knew that there is nothing we can mention because all online casino will require you KYC in whatever they wanted to ask and that is the situation in gambling since the abusing and cheating take place, casino nowadays are more vigilant and monitoring each accounts activities for possible abusing.

Not all casino but mostly, but I do recommend the OP to pass that KYC because that's for his/her own good and the casino is just making sure that their rules are strictly met and you're not just a random kid who's way below the legal age to play in casinos. Anyway, you won't have to be afraid if you're not guilty of something. Just be careful giving your details though, and if KYC is asked, make sure it's a reputable casino so that your information is safe.
1556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 21, 2022, 05:26:58 PM

It was a punishing moment for Joe Smith Jr. he really never expect what will happen to him if he came toe to toe with Beterbiev, and it was the wrong decision in my opinion to get really close to Artur and challenge him in a brawl, on the 1st to 2nd knockdown, Joe Smith Jr. is now feeling the side effect of those punches of Beterbiev, but he realizes that he needs to score more, but the 2nd round will be his demise and that Joe Smith Jr. Realizes that Beterbiev is a much advance boxer than he thinks he is,

I never expected this to be one-sided, we are caught by surprise at how easy Beterbiev beat Joe Smith Jr., there was a huge discrepancy in power and skills it made me think if this is really a light heavyweight against a light heavyweight it looks like heavyweight against a middleweight, every punch that connected has a serious impact on Joe Smith Jr. and to think Joe Smith Jr. is a much younger fighter, this fight makes Beterbiev a very dangerous fighter 18-0- 18 is just an awesome record.

We can somehow say that but we can't also deny Beterbiev's record. Also, is Joe Smith Jr. really up for the job to put an end to Beterbiev's KO streak and put a single loss on his record? That question alone will give us a hard time believing the latter could really give a defeat to Beterbiev. I mean Smith is good and according to his record, he's a decent one with a high KO percentage but Beterbiev is really different as only few selected boxers are born to have a heavy punch Beterbiev had.
1557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: June 21, 2022, 04:37:57 PM
So this is going to be his biggest pay, if my theory is right. So probably guarantee of upward to $8 million, and Spence around $10 million.

Agree with you. Since there is no doubt, that this will be Terence Crawford's biggest fight in his career, expect that this is also the biggest paycheck he might receive regardless of the result. Errol Spence Jr. is considered as the King of PPV and will surely grab more audiences making the purse big.

If I remember it right, back then, when Crawford was offered to fight Pacquiao, a guaranteed $10 million is being offered to him, win or loss. It stated that amount will be the highest paycheck that Crawford will receive in his entire boxing career. Just correct me if I'm wrong here.

Here against Spence, he might earn more than that even the purse split will be 60/40 in favor of Spence Jr.

No doubt, Crawford will really earn good and receive a pretty handful paycheck whether he's the hailed winner or loser in this fight because the Crawford-Spence undisputed fight will surely be the biggest match of the year. Actually, he doesn't even need to try and sell the fight because Spence already got that covered for sure as the PPV King.

And yes, you're right that Pacquiao offered Crawford a guaranteed $10 Million if the fight will materialize but Bob Arum didn't approve the offer knowing that Bob always wanted wanted more and a $10M ain't making Bob interested.

1558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: June 21, 2022, 04:07:28 PM
Mark Magsayo will definitely understand and respect the fact if he will really be listed as the underdog in the fight as per sports bookies against Rey Vargas, but I don't that will happen because he's the defending champion. On the other hand, that might be good as his odds are far more greater if he'll be listed as underdog though.

Being the favorite or underdog, both boxers might not bother to think about it. Nothing special for them if they will be listed as either of those. In other words, they don't actually care for bookies' decision in providing odds for them. Clearly, Magsayo as a champion should be the slight favorite regardless of how strong Vargas is.

And besides, they are both undefeated and how come it can be a basis on "who's the stronger between these two"?

For let's say, if ever that bookies will consider Magsayo as an underdog, then it's good for us. Not just here in PH but other countries might put a bet on Magsayo too as I think it's a rare case where the Champion is an underdog. The fight is just around the corner. We should expect more odds previews in the following weeks to come.

Yes, being listed on either favorite or underdog won't matter to them as they aren't the ones who put some bet on these bookies. Magsayo being listed as an underdog will be an advantage to our sides as a bettor even if it is just a slight of odds as an underdog will always have the prettier odds than the listed favorite.

Being a champion won't be a basis to become a favorite, I think we already know about that part because we've seen enough champions listed as the underdog.
1559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna - July 19 on: June 20, 2022, 07:21:58 PM
...
This reminds me of the Garcia's previous fight against Emmanuel Tagoe who're experienced with 33 fight with only 1 lose, but after the fight... all we can see is Emmanuel Tagoe is just running away and avoid to punch Garcia. Even Tagoe is unknown fighter, but there's some replay of his old fights that show he can box. I'm sure they have an agreement to make easy win for Garcia and I think Fortuna will so same.

Garcia claiming his next fight will be against Tank, if this will come true and let's say Garcia win, then he's deserve it since Tank isn't a dumb fighter who only looking for money.

Might be mate but we can't know for sure Grin Just give Javier the benefit of the doubt as he's more of a professional fighter unlike Tagoe who's just a local boxer from his country and suddenly got exposure when he was cherry-picked to fight Oscar's Golden Boy as an interim. I agree with @YuginKadoya, Javier might be the boxer who could push the kid and bring him back on track, Garcia just needs a wake up call from his inactivity which Tagoe cannot give.

When he fought Tagoe, it was like a mismatch. So I don't know if Tagoe couldn't really fight Garcia in a toe-to-toe scenario or there was a prior arrangement. That for sure, we won't know. But with Javier, I hope he will give him a lesson. Much better if he can beat Garcia so Golden Boy promotions will see what they are grooming here. So yes, for me, Javier is not the same caliber with Tagoe. I am hoping he will give a much better fight inside the ring.
That was an arranged fight, we can really expect a mismatch for Tagoe and Garcia. But this fight with Javier, although to say that Javier gains higher winning expectation, yet for sure Garica won't let that easy as he also wants to prove something to the crowd. Likely, this fight won't disappoint us, it was indeed a match fight and only the best man win.  Anyways, I put my bet to Garcia...

It was indeed a mismatch, remember that Oscar dela Hoya himself picked Tagoe just to have fight with his boy. That fight was a no brainer because we can say that the fight is already decided who's the winner, but winning wasn't the only goal in Garcia's camp because they need to prepare him up before they decide to face him with some good names in the industry.

Even if Tagoe would try hard at that time, Garcia was really too much for him. If he go for a toe-to-toe, I'm afraid he'll just be knocked out giving Garcia a nice result.
1560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Session That Lingers On Or Keep Staying On your Mind on: June 20, 2022, 06:41:36 PM
There is such a psychological feature of the human psyche - a person experiences more negative experiences from losing than joy from winning.

In gambling, losses and winnings are distributed approximately equally (50/50).  In this case, the player experiences more negative emotions.  This can lead to nervous breakdowns and depression.  In particular, a person may begin to suffer from insomnia.  He may be haunted by disturbing thoughts about past gambling.

All of the above applies to beginners (experienced and professional players adapt to this feature of the human psyche).
Such psychological impact on our mind never lasts longer, it eventually vanishes in time especially when we experience some good moments after worse events. Of course, to remember those days that we've lost is a normal interaction and it keeps on our minds for a few days. I'm not sure if this is weird or not but this makes our minds even work and changes our mindset. It helps us to even realize that losing from gambling is natural.
That's the thing when we experience losses along the way as we gamble especially if we did lose some good amount, so for sure we won't have a comfortable nights to sleep good, and that thought will linger and haunt us while we're laying in bed. But I agree, that will cease and eventually we will just get used to it as we will harbor new experiences day by day. The important thing is that we will always choose to move on and we will just think at those memories again to remind us.
