15461  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: July 02, 2017, 04:03:34 AM
Am I the only one using exodus wallet ?

Other than that, I use poloniex & blockchain for online transfers.
I haven't use exodus and as I look for some desktop wallets. I'm going to shift now to electrum because of the time I'm using web wallets for storing my bitcoin. But as experts say before the chain segwit2x activation, it's better to store bitcoins offline. And thats why I'll use electrum.
15462  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: July 02, 2017, 03:41:33 AM
No, bitcoin is just a decentralized peer to peer payment system in shortly. It is not for to solve poverty
I will disagree, it is not just a payment system but it is now a popular investment which everyone is trying to invest. And if you invested to bitcoin earlier when the price is still not that high then now you had almost 1000% percentage profit. So I believe it can end a family's poverty but the world is big and its hard to believe.
15463  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC sudden price fall? on: July 01, 2017, 09:44:06 PM
Today every one were waiting that Australia will announce the Bitcoin as currency and going to withdraw all taxes and make it free but i think they did not responded and that is why market reacting it and going down.

I see so this is the reason why the price now is shaking down. Is it still too early for Australia to announce bitcoin as currency to them? Everyone seems to be disappointed on what's happening right now. And hoping that it will not go back $1,900 or beyond lower. The market is making every single handle to panic but I'll keep on holding.
15464  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you Panic? on: July 01, 2017, 09:26:27 PM
Selling at 10% loss is a panic move for me. Back when I was still trying to trade alts, there is this coin that I made the most out of other alts. Because I made good money out of it, I bought tons of it. What I don't know is that it's on a pump and oh my I bought near the top. An hour later I saw that it's crashing and so I sold all of it, 25% loss, then never looked back in that coin ever again.

Oh, it is the little devil Blakcoin I'm talking about.

I'll never do this again if I have the same experience to you. These days people are now scared to buy at peak because there is a tendency that it will go down. It's like when new investors came into the league, those old ones(traders) has the chance to take those money for profit. And the new ones will suffer this and that is causing them to panic.
15465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New coins GPU mineable? on: July 01, 2017, 09:18:01 PM
Just use this website https://whattomine.com/ and start learning the table.

Use this website: https://www.coinwarz.com/cryptocurrency for an up-to-date list of the most profitable cryptocurrencies to mine.
You said new coins, what exactly do you mean? ETH and Zcash have been around for quite a while now.

I don't think it's good to prefer to those "new coins" for mining. And most of the people here are mining ETH, Zcash, SIA and XMR. These 4 are my choices to mine before and up until today.
15466  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hold... Hold.... Hold.... Do not sell everything on: July 01, 2017, 09:06:33 PM
I think it's time to change the title of this thread to "Sell... Sell.... Sell.... Sell everything".

Ethereum is gonna hit $200 in a couple of a hours. We all had it coming.

No need to change the price of bitcoin now is down at $2,362 so that's not a good sign that we need to sell everything. Another time of removing those weak handlers, more buying power again into the hands of the whales. They are making money each time there's a small pump and when there's a dump, they are adding more bitcoins.
15467  Economy / Speculation / Re: downtime soon ? on: July 01, 2017, 08:52:04 PM
Nothing will happen, it's like they are just holding bitcoin so you do and I. The only thing that can make the price decrease once those agencies started to sell those bitcoins, that can have a big impact in the market that will make the price lower.
15468  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin better or paypal? on: July 01, 2017, 08:25:47 PM
I think bitcoin is so much better than paypal,if you can understand rightly  when bitcoin holding, buying or selling then you can choose  must be bitctcoin not paypal.

It's one of the nicest thing about bitcoin, you can hold it and wait for the right time for you to decide on selling it. And PayPal is a gateway for sending and receiving payments and bitcoin has this. But bitcoin has more than PayPal has to offer and that's why bitcoin is better for most of us.

Absolutely. In my country central bank of my country has restricted Paypal which makes us very difficult to use Paypal especially for sending payments to someone. We can not hold funds in our account and any penny we receive in our Paypal account is automatically withdrawn in to the bank account linked with the Paypal account. Bitcoin is a far better option for us, especially for the international transactions.

In what country do you live? So you don't have choice but to use other payment method or stay still with bitcoin. Good thing that there's bitcoin in us that we can use as an alternative for sending and receiving payments. As we are already using it as our major remitting center.

I am from India and this decision was taken in back 2014.

* PayPal Team Shocked Indian Freelancers with New Rules.

I am not very much confident about whom to blame but the fact is that using PayPal is not only time consuming but also costly since that decision. I found bitcoin very, very, very much handy when it comes to the international transactions.

That's awful, there's a lot of freelancers in India and why they do this. Anyway, there are some other choices for you like Payza and of course bitcoin. Bitcoin is very handy and you only need to wait for a couple of minutes - hours for your transaction to get confirmed. And sometimes it takes a day but this is happening rarely.
15469  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: July 01, 2017, 08:18:03 PM
Well, someone who invested in bitcoin at the origin when it was about $1 would now say that holding bitcoin for a long time is definitely a good way to make money.  Grin

Those people that invest while the price is at $1-$20 or even $100 they are now rich. And I know that there's a lot of people that did believed to bitcoin and hold it for a long time. They only just proved that bitcoin is a good way to make money if you just hold it for better.

People's perception now is a whole lot different from how it was before and who would've really thought that btc would go this far and would still go further? A lot of people may have seen btc like how we see all other altcoins today, enter at a low point then sell after a percentage of profit. Who knows, one of the alts that we have right now would have the same run as btc in a couple of years

Yes, no one really knows before that bitcoin is going to be at this point but with those alt coins there are some of them that are now good to go and has been seen a potential to grow. But I don't want to compare them to bitcoin as this is the original coin in the market and holding it will give you a better future.
15470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal? on: July 01, 2017, 08:09:30 PM
Actuallt the transaction fees of bitcoin is high and maybe Paypal is better nowadays in this point, and also still the great marketplaces supporting only Paypal as payment processor and not supporting bitcoin.

Haven't thought of this until I realised I needed more fee to send a tiny bit of $3 to a wallet, in a case of needed fee there.

I've got a transaction and the fee is only $0.14 and that's very low on these days. What wallets are you using? I'm using blockchain.info and it's a good thing for those people that doesn't want to pay higher fees. And this is a regular fee but if you wanted to be prioritize just increase the fees per b for faster confirmation.
15471  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: July 01, 2017, 10:02:02 AM
At first I did not believe what to get from bitcoin, but after all that is true, I can buy the desired item, bitcoin can indeed realize our dreams.

When I first saw bitcoin and did some research about it for a month I did really had the believe that it's going to make me rich if I got a lot of bitcoin. But the question is on how I can acquire as many bitcoin as I can. There's nothing wrong if you are dreaming to get rich in bitcoin but apply what you had learned on it.

Simply put : No !

Like in : http://www.shouldisellmybitcoins.com/

Grin This made my day, I thought it is an article or something informative but yeah it is very informative. As seeing the prices of bitcoin today I thought it will go back at $2,300 and it's already giving me some heartache but it's rallying on $2,400-$2,500. If this is going to be continuous happening, this will be a good thing and we'll never see $1,000 again.
15475  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin trading strategy on: July 01, 2017, 08:13:43 AM
Only tried a few trades and don't have any alts now. I guess the real problem really is how to find which coin would be pumped later. I mean, new coins come all the time, what are the chances that any of those, when bought, would give you a profit?

Knowing what will be the next coin to pump is not that necessary. You need to know it by yourself and update every single coin that gets your interest. It's not that hard to read a single article about that coin that you think has the potential. I guess 5% pump is already good for you to sell and it is not that hard to look for that coin.

15477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: July 01, 2017, 07:47:55 AM
Bitcoin is not completely implemented in every country and due to very low transaction fee many people are using for illegal activities, The price of bitcoin is also not stable. Grin Grin Grin

Yeaah this is one disadvantage of bitcoin that it is not completely being used by different countries. But I think it's not the biggest disadvantage of bitcoin as once the system was being fixed and everything works perfect that is going to be accepted by countries and they will voluntarily adopt bitcoin whenever they want.
15478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: July 01, 2017, 07:22:53 AM
The risk is that bitcoin may be a bubble. Every currency has capitalization. National banks can change the volume, but it is always there. At the bitcoin capitalization is our confidence, but it is too little stability and the guarantee that the price will not collapse like a house of cards.

No, it's not on a bubble. Many experts says that it is not bubble, it's a normal growth of demand of bitcoin that's why the price seems to increase quick and thinks that it is a bubble. Though the risk is always there but only for those new adopters because us, who did invested to bitcoin before it reaches $1,000 we already had good times with it.

No, it's really a bubble, a bubble that we're all in. Although we know it well, we can not handle it, a big bubble and we are part of it, if it breaks down, we all have serious consequences. .

And do you think the bubble already popped?  Yes we do have serious consequences because of the recent price increase there is still many people that thinks it is not a bubble. But the market of bitcoin and crypto currency itself is just a normal demand by the people. And it's becoming known worldwide so it's really making me think it's not.
15479  Economy / Economics / Re: In event of your death on: June 30, 2017, 11:56:30 PM
I am wondering what provisions have you all made in case you die before cashing out your bitcoins? I am single, live alone and both my parents are deceased. My siblings dont care about any of this, however I would like my nieces and nephews to get some of my profits but they are still very young right now. I dont trust lawyers to give them my private keys. I am wondering, what can I do?

Don't trust some lawyers as they are only for the money. But still there are some lawyers that has commitment to their jobs and contract so it's good also if you will have your last will to your nieces and nephews when you die, just give him some instruction and he's the one to explain it when you passed away.
