yeah poloniex and coinbase both are going to list BCH on their sites, hope that will help the price to recover.

You mean like when it was listed on other exchanges ?
You will find it will follow the same trend and crash the price even lower

I'm curious, does anyone know why the mempool doesn't empty after some blocks even though there is still a ton of space left in them? Do some miners ignore transactions when the fees are too low or something?

Some miners have fixed block sizes for example 2M
1563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling on: August 05, 2017, 09:44:28 PM
looks like the 0.05 predictions will come true very soon. i really can't see how it can justify that price and we still have a ton of supply to free up.

Yes should be under $200 before the days out and possibly under $100 by the time segwit officially locks in and dead by the time it activates
1564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling on: August 05, 2017, 09:40:10 PM
why the people who create the BCC keep quiet? we all waiting so long for this? now what....whats the future of BCC...BCC is a better coin so why BTC is going up and BCC is going down?

The creators haven't been quiet they have just been drowned out by everyone not wanting this if you think its the better coin you go buy it but 95% of users see different.

You are just believing the propaganda that Rodger Ver shits out his mouth the big blocks may solve scaleability for now but leaves other issues like transaction malleability that is not supposed to be a issue yet this "superior" coin has already been affected by it.

The Popular coin fixes this issue with segwit and also fixes scalability at the same time for now and if larger blocks are required later on then it can hard fork if needed with support behind it from the core team that have years of experience and do this full time and have built bitcoin into the safe secure coin it is today
1565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling on: August 05, 2017, 08:36:07 PM
Is it just me or are transactions now drying up even when no blocks are found for a fair bit of time the blocks are usually quite empty and under 1MB plus the value does not seem to be rising much if at all when no blocks are being found like before but the value is still decreasing.

Looking at ViaBTC's stats pool hashing power is dropping along with the user count block times seem to be getting longer and its profitability keeps dropping lower and lower compared to BTC
1566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling on: August 05, 2017, 06:38:51 PM
problems with the network...transations disapear...blocks not find for more than 4 hours....
one thing i dont get it if its a bitcoin fork with bitcoin blockchain that hadnt any problem...
why bch is having issues Shocked Huh Huh Huh

Because the mining is being controlled by only 3 pools.
without enough hashing power and diversity in the mining community, the big players can mess with the network as much as they like.

Also has been under a malleability attack that little problem that rodger ver says is not a problem and does not need fixing

Does anyone have a list all pool BCH??

pool.bitcoin.com
pool.viabtc.com

They are the only real supporters
1568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling on: August 05, 2017, 12:50:58 PM

maybe this BCH is new coin, so need a long time to conf you deposit
someday, just need 2 confirmations like BTC

The reason for so many confirmations is due to the very limited pool support (ViaBTC, bitcoin.com, Unknown) and very low hash rate (probably around 5%) making it highly centralised and open to be easily attacked so unless this can gain major support soon from the major pools then it will always be stuck with high confirmation counts and even at the norm 10 min blocks will still take 3-4 Hours to get confirmed providing 20 confirmations stays the norm

Collecting coins at $250 again whooo! BitcoinCash is coming!

Well done keep going you can do it dont let anybody tell you different you can get them all
1570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling on: August 05, 2017, 05:57:57 AM
ViaBTC hashing power for BCH has halfed according to their site from 50PH down to 26PH  Cheesy looks like there already abandoning it as BTC is approaching 3 times more profitable
1571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling on: August 05, 2017, 12:44:23 AM
so for diff we are stuck now right? will need to wait 256 or 1024 blocks to be adjusted?

These numbers where getting close to 12hrs for MTP of block 6 . Maybe some miners will back off and let some more difficulty adjustments downward happen before the regular difficulty adjustment.

According to here http://bch.xbt.it/?interval=120 average block time needs to be over 2 hours to recalculate which would drop it to 3.52% of the original chain
1572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling on: August 05, 2017, 12:21:09 AM
You guys know that 1 hour per block isn't a feature and will eventually be fixed, right? Even if takes 3 months. That is nothing for a coin's lifetime.

Some of you are pretending to be dumb, some are authentic.

Yes but it will drop to around 5% of the original chains difficulty which is very low and open to being easily attacked plus the main mining group being ViaBTC meaning there are a lot more confirmations required

As you probably know bittrex require 20 confirmations and I think one exchange is requiring 100 confirmations so even at the normal 10 min blocks payments will still be real slow to be confirmed
1573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling on: August 04, 2017, 10:01:40 PM
New Difficulty was something like 1184 blocks

...times 1h per block ≈ 50 days.   Shocked

Be longer you need to take into consideration the fleeing miners
1574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling on: August 04, 2017, 10:00:35 PM
New Difficulty was something like 1184 blocks

So like 3 months Cheesy dont think it will last till then
1575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling on: August 04, 2017, 08:21:49 PM
Boy, blocks are so scarce, it's a good thing that this chain supports blocks up to 8MB Grin

Seriously, difficulty is a problem: 3x less profitable than BTC = not low enough to trigger retargeting, yet bad enough to make things potentially worse in the upcoming weeks.

Yea supports 8MB blocks but mempool was around 4.5MB and last block only took 2M of it so not every transaction made it into the last block
1576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling on: August 04, 2017, 07:55:54 PM
From https://cash.coin.dance/blocks

It is currently 173% more profitable to mine on the original chain.

I wonder how correct this is
1577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling on: August 04, 2017, 06:59:35 PM
Too much hatred against BCH Bitcoin cash.

Why not let both coin compete and let the community decide?

We are the community and the community is speaking out right here
1578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling on: August 04, 2017, 06:48:54 PM
Well the last block was a waste it only emptied half of the mempool what happened to the 8M block
1579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling on: August 04, 2017, 06:47:01 PM
