But don't be fooled with what is written in that article, i still think you are starting with disadvantage rather than advantage but they correctly pointed some stuff that is going your way at least. Just make sure to actually pay before the deadline to be in contention to this GW free bet. That one you have small advantage on for sure.
Don't know if anyone realised but this is already first mini blank HW of the season. Luton game is postponed but nobody cares since nobody got starters from them or Burnley. |

Does anyone know how many Wildcards this season will be?
It’s just that if my memory serves me, then last year and the year before last there were 3 of them.
As far as I can remember an extra Wildcard was given because of its being the World Cup break last year. We are going to be able to use only 2 Wildcards this year because there isn't any break. There will be 2 wildcards as always, one of every other chip unless something totally unpredictable happens. Last season we had one extra wildcard due to World Cup that was auto activated for the duration of that competition. The year before that we had lots of games postponed due to covid and we got one extra free hit to better navigate that situation. |

Darwin is probably the worst 7.5 pick in the history of PL Fantasy.
There are 6-rated players I'd rather have in the team.
Liverpool started with Diaz and Salah, meaning that Darwin will rarely play as a 9 - it will be either Gakpo or Jota, and they will play in a more supportive role - not attacking one.
Darwin will get some rotational minutes - but would be the first player to get kicked out of my team if I had him there.
You are missing my point, there is no new info. GW1 told us nothing new, if he was good enough for somebody to take him against Chelsea away, that same person has to keep him for Bournemouth at home. It is not like he got injured or played as right back, he continued to play exactly what he was playing in last friendly games with similar minutes. I would also argue that maybe Klopp prefers Gakpo for his pressing against stronger teams while Darwin could be more useful to break down smaller teams. Not the one I would pick, I even rate Joao Pedro as better fantasy asset and he is 5.5 but if I have already chosen Darwin for whatever reason I would give him this game against Bournemouth. |

Stones losing a point is actually horrible news for me - no way I'm going to replace him now.
I planned to switch him out after GW2, if he does not play there (and is healthy), his price might drop even more.
Now I know why I never play this - I could look at this for days.
I'll take the cash hit and replace him, but first there's a whole bunch of players who I have to replace eventually (in order of decreasing severity - Grealish, Mings, Darwin, Mitoma[?]). I was hoping he'd contribute to the Burnley match by at least keeping a clean sheet, but since he didn't, continuing to keep him in the squad is screwing it. I get it for Mings, serious injury and he should go out asap. He is also on a brink for price fall, should happen soon. But what is wrong with Grealish, Darwin and Mitoma? All City players are minutes risk, I think we all know that and you took Grealish, what changes after GW1 that you want him out? I would happily play Darwin against Bournemouth, why thinking about his transfer now? Mitoma is perfectly fine for at least 2 more games, after that maybe better to ditch him for Mbuemo or Diaby. Stones is also good option, I am even thinking of taking him for Shaw maybe. He had a small injury and got rested, he should start next couple of games for City. Edit: forget about Stones, I just read he got a new separate injury in training this morning. Something with hamstring, could be few games but no official words yet. |

Going to take all notes from Trofo dang dude, how are you so good in fantasy. Im planning on adding Mitoma though but their fixtures made me change my mind so Im probably going to bench of one of my strikers to add another midfielder the next round after this.
I don't consider myself very good in fantasy but I know I have a right mindset for it, which is actually quite opposite to popular beliefs. Let me give you an example, who is better GK for your team based only on GW1 data, Onana or Pickford? Correct answer would be Pickford and it isn't even close. United defense were horrible and on another day Onana would concede 3 goals and be guilty of penalty and end on minus points. He and United got lucky, while Everton actually were quite good defensively. Only player I am actually thinking of dropping from my team soon is Shaw. That poor defensive performance came against one of the worst teams in the league and I think United will have big problems in defence early on in the season. Past points are just that, points your players got in the past, you can't get them any more. Just think about all the people transfering Varane in their team and he just scored his total goals for the season in GW1. |

Of course I am watching, I was a bit distracted in first half by some relatives visiting but now I am at peace with beer in hand for second half. Palmer is growing into Mahrez boots fast, he has a great left foot and he scored a beautiful header. Could be his breakthrough season with Mahrez out of the club and De Bruyne injured for long time. |

Whirlwind kampanja na kraju ipak ide na poduži hold. Biti će zanimljivo vidjeti kako će se odigrati ovo sa blokiranim isplatama od kampanje jer trenutno nitko ne može povući ovu zadnju isplatu a neki kao cryptofrka i ja imaju tamo i isplate od prijašnjih tjedana.
Uvijek je loše kada top kampanja pukne. Taman se činilo kako ce krenuti rat između mixera da se vidi ko ima najbolju kampanju. Sad će krenuti u drugom smjeru. Iako nakon pada CMa je niknulo puno mixera, možda sada bude ista situacija. |

@all fpl participants who have KDB in their squad. it is now certain and the belgian international and midfielder of manchester city will be out for several (3-4) months  in my case, i have already reacted and removed KDB from my squad and brought in a new player. I saw the news earlier. I will make a transfer soonest to replace him. The reason I haven't done that since was because I am trying to pick a better replacement for KDB for Gw2. Too bad for KDB, he would have been a solid points generator. So far so good, I have eyes on Maddison, Mbeumo and Mitoma. Maddison looks like a one-match wonder plus the fact that he would be going up against man utd midfield and defense just turns me off. Tough call to make because I really need to upp my points in Gw2. All three are excellent picks for GW2 and here is my detail take on them. Maddison maybe even best mid in whole game for me. Everything Spurs do is going trough him and his price is great. If Kane stayed he would be must have, now more of a personal preference. Richarlison killed several of his great assist in that first game, could have been ever more points. Could be in my squad whole season. Mbeumo has maybe best fixtures mid term and I am really worried I don't have him in my squad. Also confirmed on penalties which helps. Only problem with him is that he is a poor finisher. Could have also ended GW1 with much more points. Mitoma is great short term pick, 2 more games and then Brighton fixtures turn for worse. I will probably change him to Mbeumo then. I would avoid him if you have any other cover for Brighton attack. Problem is Brighton will score a lot of goals in next 2 games and Mitoma should be their attacker which plays most minutes. |

Nice to start with a point! Only me and Navidart got the first question right. I watched the match and it was very entertaining but Copenhagen managed to save themselves further in the tournament😁 Tomorrow City play and it will be an exciting match but I stil think they will only score 1-2 goals!
I'm also following the match between Danydee and Igebotz because one of them could be my next opponent 😁 @Igebotz I see that you only answered 7 out of 8 of the penalty questions.
It is getting more and more competitive as the cup progresses, just as it should. Not that relented to BSFL but Dinamo killed 4 tickets for me yesterday. All were x5 multi and all had big odds and nice paybacks. That was my sure thing pick yesterday, now taking a day off from betting to reset before business as usual. |

In fact, Salah in the last 6 games left the field much earlier than we would like. However, I chose him because I could not resist such performance .... in each of the last 13 matches he scored a goal or an assist. But I will definitely get rid of him if I give him the captain's armband in the next match and it will only bring me 6 points. I remember the last two games against Bournemouth very well (when there were 9 goals scored but Salah had no points ... ). Yeah but those are friendly games, I wouldn't read to much into them. I still think that Salah and Fernandez are only 2 top players that will play whole match, every match. And I am really worried about what he could de against Bournemouth since I don't have him.
Free tip: Don't buy Isak I just realized he is most transferred player in, and he has already risen in price. But he is playing against City away next, arguably the toughest fixture in the whole season. This isn't the week to bring Newcastle players. Even if they had good fixture, Wilson is still there and he will take a lot of minutes from Isak. When they are both on pitch, Wilson is the central one and on penalties. Not even gonna comment Rodri, CDM is absolutely the worst position on pitch for Fantasy player, almost no ways to get points. Now when I wrote this, Newcastle is gonna win 5:2 and both goals from City will be scored by Rodri and Isak will get hat-trick. Here is a nice bet builder for buwaytress. That should get odds above 100, too lazy to try it. |

It's strange but I always measure myself against Cro2 group, KTChampions, buwaytress, I know there are many more great players including Slissy now from BSFL but somehow these guys stick to my mind a lot as really accurate betting people.
In La Liga, I trust myself the most but I know I'm super biased with Barca, that's my main weakness. I disagree with Xavi comments about ref though. Yes we know the referees are shit, but that's not why people don't watch La Liga!
That's how I'm thinking too. I'm still getting to know other faces in these competitions so right now I'm comparing myself against Trofo and cryptofrka. While I'm better ranked against any of them, I'm happy  But tomorrow I'm coming home from my vacation so I'll have more time to do the research before submitting my picks. I am actually quite bad at prediction pools like we have here. It rewards correct scores much more than ML and that is mostly luck. When betting I am betting almost exclusively on both to score and Premier League is the only one I watch regularly. From the pools on forum this year, if I had to give my predictions, I am taking seriously only Fantasy pool and expecting that one to cover all my expenses. I will also get a couple of free bets from other pools and maybe one of the last paid positions if I get lucky in one of them. Don't know why nobody ever mentions Saint-Loup, he is definitely the guy I paid out most from my pools, followed closely by leah. They are just quietly picking points while we talk in these pools often and take heat |

Update situacije, Hhampuz je uspio doći do njih i izgleda da se nije dogodilo ništa ozbiljno te da se sve nastavlja po starom.
A cryptofrka je baš bio u velikoj frci pa je poslao i prijavu za yomix, i ne može si prežaliti što je odbio mixtum  Bolje je ne očekivati nikakvu stabilnost u mixer signature kampanjama, ne može to proći bez trzavica. Nakon šta je CM pao, ne smatram ništa sigurnim a pogotovo mixere. Možda su najsigurnije kampanje ovih reputablinih kladionica kao što su Sportsbet i Stake ali šta kad Sportsbet godinama ne uzima nove članove a Stake ima valjda najgoru kampanju na forumu. Puno love utrošeno a primatelji sve najveći spammeri koje je gambling vidio. |

What new player? That is the real question here. This injury from De Bruyne will mean much more minutes for both Foden & Alvarez. Now I want both of them in my team but I am also super happy with my current team. So many excellent options this season, only problem we can't have them all. I think I would play with 10 midfielders if that was possible.
Since Fantasy is a bit more difficult than Superbru to see who won best GW reward I will post it here in the thread every week. All the chips count for free bet and all minus points from transfers are deducted from your score. First one stays with me, sorry guys. You will just have to better going forward This is my 8th Fantasy season and first one I started well. I always start extremely poorly and anything in top 4M is usually good for me, than I climb the ladder and finish in top few hundred by the season end. This is new experience for me, top 300k after GW 1. What to do now? Could possibly be epic season or maybe it goes the other way and I screw it up during the season. |

I just assumed that the "1" spot on your bench would be the first sub no matter what (even to the point of changing your formation).
It will change your formation if it is to valid formation. You can't play with 2 defenders so if you start with 3 and one misses out you can't get an attacker for him. If you start with 4-4-2, your first sub will always be able to enter. |

I think he was referring to the numbers next to the positions, i.e. the 1., 2., and 3.
You switch these however you want - but as Trofo explained, in order for it to work, some formation rules have to be met. In his situation, if a midfielder or striker in the first 11 would not play, a midfielder would be the 1st sub. But in case a defender does not play, it has to take the defender from the bench because 253 isn't a valid formation. RE Odegaard - I expect a lot of points from him this season. So the conclusion is that every manager should leave at least 1 player from each position on the bench for effective substitutions. Isn't it? No, the conclusion is to optimise first 11 and order them in best possible formation for you. That is 3-5-2 for me. Then you order bench to maximize points if something unexpected happens. In my case that is one world class extra defender. Due to my formation he will enter no matter which position in first 11 drops out. |
