You just like making baseless accusations, don't matter the evidence?

It's not about betting, it's about backing up your accusations. Make the bet if you're sure of it.
I'm not making accusations, just asking.
Is it an accusations every time I ask?

So it comes that you are so sure about your interest in this legendary lesson?

If you knew the technology, you'd know it's possible.
If you don't know the technology - that would be quite a risky business for you.
Better watch some more Discovery Wink
1563  Economy / Securities / Re: (GLBSE) TYGRR.BOND-P 4.85% weekly uninsured pass though bond to BTCST on: August 21, 2012, 06:48:09 PM
Just to make clear the bond is now dead or closed as BTCST has failed to send me coins with in 72 hours or make interest payments.

Pirate has defaulted.

Assuming pirate will ever pay in full I will pass along the weeks interest and the face value of the bond.

Again this bond is now dead and to make clear if pirate does not send fund the bonds are worth 0 BTC.

Thank you.
You are welcome.

And for as what we know, he hasn't defaulted yet - he just doesn't pay out the deposits.
We cant do anything about it, except waiting.
But it doesn't mean that you should use this incident to earn more money from the business.
Just say what the other PPTs said: whatever is returned will be distributed back, since I don't do any convoluted bookkeeping.
Is it so hard?

I agree that FUD stated as acronym sounds more serious Smiley

Could you post your BTC&ST reimbursement address? , so we could know quickly if you have been paid, without having to be constantly reading the forum, I'm telling you to get some quiet sleep with an alarm;)
just relax and have a life
what is going to happen, will happen - we have no control over it.
enjoy what you have control of - don't set the alarm Smiley

@Matthew, something tells me that you have cut a deal with Pirate before staring this topic...
Am I right?

I did not start this topic and I have not cut any deals with pirate. I am not in bed with pirate. I do not know pirate. I have never talked to him on the phone even, nor have I ever met him. I have no idea what he looks like or if Trenden Shavers is in fact his real name or not. I do not know if anyone in the community even knows his phone number, much less if it's an anonymous line. I do not know what he is doing behind the scenes. For the last time, my bet is one of faith. I am prepared to lose and be wrong, but the mere act of making the bet sets a precedent for loud mouthed dipshits in this community to finally back their "expert opinions" with more than an anonymous throwaway sockpuppet reputation. It should cost money to make baseless accusations, that's why defamation laws were created. Go team!
I don't believe anything you've said Smiley

Then let's bet that you're wrong. How much do you want to wager?
So you just like gambling high stakes - don't matter the subject?

What is FUD?
http://www.urbandictionary.com/

though an admin once told me that such of my post would be "off-topic" and therefore illegal - so eventually you may want to let him know that he should delete it  Smiley
like one guy once did
1568  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: August 21, 2012, 06:13:45 PM
There was a very heavy crash in between, and friedcat should have took notice of it. I'm not sure, but for me it is a sign.
AFIAK, he hasn't cashed the funds.

In fact, if you want to buy a 5000 in bulk, considering the latest price drop, you might still have a chance, because maybe one of the pending buyers bailed out.
But I'd suggest being a bit more polite to achieve this Tongue

Do you really think FUD people are good board members? They'd want to change the business plan every few days...
In they have enough money and balls to put in 500BTC into it - why to not see their point of view? Smiley
A single voice doesn't mean anything, anyway - cannot really mess up with the plans.
1569  Economy / Securities / Re: (GLBSE) TYGRR.BOND-P 4.85% weekly uninsured pass though bond to BTCST on: August 21, 2012, 05:58:39 PM
On IRC he had said that he would pay the old rates until the time the exact hour the account was closed and coins returned.

Also, please keep the bond alive for now: it allows people to trade the debt around and serves as a good indicator for the market value of pirate debt.

IIRC that was a couple days ago.  Nobody has even heard from him since last night, I think.
As I said, he updated the accounts' balance with last weeks interests, so if he does pay out there will be interests..

After rereading the contract I will buy back at 1.068 except for piotr-n's bonds. I will just refuse to accept his BTC from pirate  Grin

That's great.
Just don't forget to also refuse accepting my interests Grin
1572  Economy / Securities / Re: (GLBSE) TYGRR.BOND-P 4.85% weekly uninsured pass though bond to BTCST on: August 21, 2012, 05:20:09 PM
Do not worry, if pirate sends me coins you will get them bought back at 1.068 like I said above assuming he pays in full with interest.

Well, technically it should be 1.068 + this week's partial interest as well. If you're paid back as promised, of course.

Assuming he does pay it will stay at 1.068 BTC   I'm not even sure what rate he is paying as it is after the 20th.

The bond is dead and IMO it really should be locked down on GLBSE but that is up to Nefario.
The only thing that I know is dead for sure - is your reputation.

I used to think that you were a fair guy, even putting my words for you.
But now I know that your entire business has been about squeezing every possible penny from every possible sucker. Never really kept your word.

And selling the PI bonds at 1.50+ - it was just the masterpiece Smiley
Of course, after pirate pays out, you are not considering a refund for the overpaid insurance, because why would you - right?
In fact, you are even trying to steal the interest from the poor suckers...

The 10k is not from you - I'm betting it's something he gave you already, maybe as a pre-paid from your deposit... Am I right?

You don't have to sell now if you want to wait for interest.

I wish Goat was the one who said that Tongue
1576  Economy / Securities / Re: TYGRR.BOND-PI 1 BTC face 100% Insured Pirate Bonds BTCST on: August 21, 2012, 04:48:49 PM
When can we expect you to begin buying back the shares?

A nice bidwall @ 1.0 is what that gold casascius coin was shown off in this thread for. Assurance you would cover.
It has been made clear pirate is done. Looking at a bid of 3 @ .5 is insulting. It should not have taken you this long to redeem a code.

No word from pirate about the interest and it has been about 4 days since I requested my last withdraw so it looks like a default for this bond.

1 BTC buy wall is going up soon. The BTC are now on the way to GLBSE.

Don't buy it people - don't be stupid! Pirate was very specific about the interests:

Quote
The moment your account is closed you’ll receive your coins plus any interest accrued up to the hour it was sent.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=50822.0

And moreover, yesterday my BS&T account's balance was increased by the last weeks interest - so I am sure that Goat's account has been increased as well...

He's just selling small lies to you, as he always does. That's his business model Smiley

Thanks for explaining.
I was curious.
1578  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] BTC-Mining on: August 21, 2012, 06:08:37 AM
Sorry, maybe I missed the explanation, but why was the div per share 2 weeks ago lower from the one today?
1579  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: GLBSE 2.0 open for testing on: August 20, 2012, 11:47:44 AM
That's great news
1580  Economy / Securities / Re: TYGRR.BOND-PI 1 BTC face 100% Insured Pirate Bonds BTCST on: August 20, 2012, 09:24:23 AM
To be clear, are you purchasing back bonds at 1 BTC each before pirate pays out?
Yes, because this is an insured bond. The face of 1 BTC is guaranteed no matter what pirate will do.
and because, if pirate does pay out, whoever cashed the bonds early will not be entitled for the last week's divs.
