@ aboroth and surfer43

Thanks.

I need to learn how to compile.

How are you all using the avx2 version?

I downloaded it and it is just a file and not a program like the sse4 version.

If it needs compiled does anyone have a compiled version for windows?

Here is what I am getting.

Invalid Share
Reason: CheckProofOfWork() : n not prime
1564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RIC] Riecoin, new prime numbers POW coin, CLIENT UPDATE v0.8.7 AVAILABLE on: March 23, 2014, 03:29:33 AM
I need to pay closer attention. Did the difficulty raise again? MY stats on YPool has dropped like a rock on sse11 from dga.

Check your miners - some people are reporting that they're seeing invalid shares start showing up after the miner has been running for a long time.  I haven't been able to replicate this yet on any of my machines, but I'm looking.

yupe, 3 in a row after you mentioned it.

Just happened to 3 of mine again.

Is there a way to have it run for a certain amount of time and restart it by itself?

I didn't realize the first time was about half a day.
1565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: March 23, 2014, 02:59:00 AM
To the top three guys, I tried those initially and tried them again, but they just gave me 0.01, 0.035 kh/s.

I've tried restarting it, doing all kinds of stuff, but this launch config:

--algo=scrypt-jane:YAC -d 2 -l t64x1 -i 0 -m 1 -L 2 -H 2

Just doesn't seem to work. I'm just stuck at 2.3kh/s with 80% power usage and less than 500MB usage.

I have the issue a lot with cudaminer running under full load.

I have now, with the advice from someone else, fixed it by going into device manager and right clicking on the card then disable it. Right click again and reenable it. It gets my card running back at full speed.

I have no idea what is putting the card under full capacity but this helps me from rebooting the machine. If your card is the main one I would say probably reboot the machine.

If it is on a riser not sure how to fix that.

Once you get the card running at 98-100% load you should be at 3.3-3.5 kh/s
1566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: March 23, 2014, 02:02:46 AM
I got two new PNY GTX 750 ti's today.

So at 1400Mhz (Core) and +500 (memory), I'm only getting 2.3Kh/s on YAC. I tried it on both of my rigs and getting the same values. I also fine tuned the launch config, none else but this was the best that worked for me:

-H 1 -C 2  -i 0 -b 8192 -L 7 -l t100x1

I can't say that I'm impressed, was expecting more.

It is the power usage and mem usage with the issue you are having.

Holey cow.

I do have my 1100t (best miner) getting "work() : not prime  share total: 2858/2115"

I'll restart it and see how it goes.

Edit: Was this just in the b11 version for this problem?

If solo mining, does your wallet have to be completely synced before solo mining works?

I keep getting json error.

yes it does

Thanks

Anyone mining with a 750ti? I am getting about 37kh/s and was curious if I am using the correct configuration for the cards.
1572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: March 21, 2014, 05:21:57 PM
Anyone recently mined Micro Coin with a 750ti, does 37kh/s sound about right?

I believe the current N-Factor is 11.

The difficulty is going to crash if ypool doesn't start running again.  Cool

Is that why I am getting a connection server error with dga's new miner?
If you are attempting to connect to ypool, yes.

Is there a new Minerd for solo mining?
Or is it possible to set up B10 for solo mining? If so then what settings

a00k's miner is good for solo mining. I believe it is as good as dga's B10 pool miner. B10 didn't improve on finding blocks, it only improved on finding shares.

Also: it's been 40 minutes since a block was found. No significant computing power is going towards solo mining. The only entity finding blocks currently is ric.upcpu.com. This needs to be fixed asap or no transactions will be confirmed  Undecided

gatra: I think this shows we should reduce difficulty adjustment to 1 block.

Is a00k's solo miner still linux only?

Sorry if answered.

Can cudaminer be used for microcoin? I get boo's.

EDIT: Just read the README. i see it does. Just gotta figure out how to write the bat now.

Finally have wallet syncing. Just left it running overnight. Now trying to solo but get "json rpc call failed" also "operation timeout". Does this look correct? I have read not to use port 30200 since it is a test port but to use 30201.

rpcuser= user
rpcpassword= pass
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=30201

gen=1
daemon=1
listen=1

addnode=82.196.3.83
addnode=162.243.132.168
addnode=192.241.159.88
addnode=cryptominer.net

cudaminer.exe -d 1 -m 1 -l T5x24 -i 0 -H 2 -o localhost:30201 -O user:pass

try also this addnodes:

addnode=162.243.132.168
addnode=192.241.159.88
addnode=cryptominer.net

Thanks for those.

Added but still not connecting.

I see people say make sure clock is correct on pc. Correct with what? Wallet?

Using these nodes and wallet still will not connect and sync

Anyone have others that might help?

Can anyone help me with this.

I switched to a different coin on my 750ti just to try out. The core won't go over 435 and power consumption shows 21%. My gpu load s 99% using 1596 of dedicated memory.

Is there a way to kick start irt back with out restarting windows? That is the only way I have been able to do it. Such a pain to restart everything I have running.

When things get a little strange due to overclocking and what not, I disable the video card from device manager and then re-enable it.  I of course have to re-apply any clock/voltage settings again.  This also works for those weird random DirectX errors that Battlefield 4 has every so often...

Awesome. Thanks.

That did it.
