1562  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Top Cryptocurrency Scams To Be Avoided By Beginners on: June 23, 2022, 07:38:10 PM
You should add this, that many are scammed when the turn up the heat of their level of greed, that I one of my favorite keyword when telling someone about crypto-currency, it’s would be very hard for any scammer to get to you when you show know interest in them and what scam scheme they are offering, and I am still trying to understand the blackmail part, I think this particular one can happen to anyone and really is a criminal case that even the most security conscious people can fall victim of
1563  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Over-Speeding Kills, Always Slow Down When Driving A Car on: June 22, 2022, 08:14:03 PM
I think I would be more afraid of him endangering his own life and possibly the lives of other road users he would have encountered if something had gone wrong, it’s not even about Crypto-currency you shouldn’t be doing any other thing apart from driving while on the road, and to making a transaction I to believe in pinning wallet address, yes it works for many but it won’t take me anything to go and get the address from the original source.
1564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: June 19, 2022, 08:31:48 PM
Guys I learnt that Ericksen has refused to renew his contract with brentford even after the club were willing to offer him the biggest salary packs they have ever offered anyone in their history, firstly I believe Ericksen has a good amount of footballing year in him that why English clubs are also interested in him and that includes his former team Tottenham hotspurs, although I am not sure where the Denmark national would be moving to next season but I feel sure by saying he won’t be playing next season in the brentford jersey.
1565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Predecessors on: June 19, 2022, 05:32:16 PM
I used to think that Bitcoin was the first every created Crypto-currency I even wrote a post about it in my beginning days on the forum, but I was latter corrected, although it’s true that Bitcoin wasn’t the first coin to be created it was definitely the first Crypto-currency to achieve the mainstream/adoption success as it has achieved infact many of the coins that came before Bitcoin aren’t anymore relevant as Ethereum for example, so I personally don’t think their is a need to reference them expect for history sake.
1566  Economy / Economics / Re: Our economy is based on whales pump and dump actvity food price pump now fomo fu on: June 19, 2022, 05:08:50 PM
The economy of every country is not only based on whales pump and dump (maybe you have been reading much about whales actions) our economy is affected by several factors like
#poor leadership or governance
# natural disasters
# war
# manipulation/corruption  by the very wealthy
It total the economy progress and fall of any country has many factors that contribute/controls it and the most pronounced to me is the type of leadership running the country and their strategies.

@marykeller where ever you got this post from it has a lot of brains inside it, sometime I wonder why someone won’t be interested in the politics of his nation or even worse try to support the very people who are ruining things in the next election based on bride, sentiments, tribalism or even religious believes because when the cancer of the nation really cashes up, every time na every Nigerian citizens they fill am, no one is exempted from it, the country Dey big mess and if we continue like this it my best unrecoverable, let us vote wisely.
1568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk sued for 258 billion USD over alleged Dogecoin pyramid scheme. on: June 19, 2022, 04:34:56 PM
Although I don’t own the smallest fraction of Dogecoin and personally I don’t believe in the coin, i still don’t think that Dogecoin is a pyramid scheme, rather I choose to view Dogecoin as a memecoin that wasn’t heading anywhere until it got its major influence from one of the richest men in the world and an obvious business tycoon this support boosted Dogecoin to unimaginable height and I believe it must have also shocked the owners of Dogecoin that they could do such high numbers, I believe this all this commotion won’t affect Elon musk in any way.
1569  Economy / Economics / Re: if you think 18k btc is low wait until autumn ... on: June 19, 2022, 03:50:59 PM
if you think 18k btc is low wait until autumn ...

I think it will reach 500-1000 USD max as you can't use to sell stuff and big whales already moved their money ...

In 2019 btc was already 9000-10000 USD , do to pandemic people invested a lot  in btc.
Well the is the most unthought over speculations anyone can make, although I have seen several speculations and I don’t believe in speculations but some of them actually have where the base their speculations from but the OP speculations right here wasn’t based on any tangible idea, just a doom predictions, I have read about Bitcoin worse price some years ago and even then Bitcoin didn’t reach as low as the figures the OP has speculated, although the Market is volatile and anything can happen I don’t think Bitcoin can reach such low figures anymore.
1570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Bitcoin Disappointed You ? on: June 19, 2022, 03:21:49 PM
Well on a personal grounds I am not precisely mad at Bitcoin, because this won’t be the first Bear market I would be seeing although I was reading a post claiming that this bear market is different and would be worse, all this are clouth chasing speculation, although I don’t have to funds to spare on getting bitcoin right now but this drop would enable others achieve their dreams of owning a full fleshed bitcoin, and the highest Amount of time that it would take Bitcoin to bounce back would be less than a year.
1571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: June 18, 2022, 08:29:12 PM
Am not a die hard basketball fan but I love me some games sometimes, the bit I had watched I think warriors are a solid team and even after some of their player left even agreeing to a pay cut, they still found a way to become champions that’s a solid team right there, I must also respect steph Curry who is now a four time champion it was well deserved he is really a fantastic player and can easily be amongst the NBA all time great, he played marvelously well all season.
1572  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: June 18, 2022, 08:05:17 PM
As the election they approach na so tension Dey rise, many of us by now don make up our mind for who them go vote for, but I pray that our decision was made by putting the future of the country at heart, for real Nigeria need that breath of fresh air and these goes beyond religion or tribe, but right now the main koko be say me we all go get our PVC (permanent voters Card) because the opportunity for a better Nigeria lies on our vote.
1573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it better to have 5, 12 or even more coins? on: June 18, 2022, 07:34:27 PM
Well it’s popular saying especially in terms of Crypto-currency investment and every other investments to always diversify that is to say get more coins under your wings, but still this isn’t a guarantee to getting good returns on investment especially when you spread your capital on the wrong coins personally I have seen people with diverse coins in their portfolio and they still ended up badly, that’s why research is the almighty rule.
1574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Notice that while BTC & ETH fall, Doge is Stable on: June 18, 2022, 06:13:24 PM
It’s not really just Dogecoin that’s doing that, some other Altcoins too maintained their state (although already poor) and I won’t consider this as a win because these coin already has low prices and their drop won’t be as noticeable as Bitcoin or Ethereum, this fact doesn’t make the solid even at this time, I feel when the markets get better many of this coins won’t have the pump momentum as bitcoin would have by then.
1575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: June 17, 2022, 07:14:24 PM
I am really surprised that Lukaku is yet to Understand that the English premier league isn’t for him, ever since he left Everton, he should have learnt from his Manchester United spell that was very horrible, and he bounced back in the Italian seria A with inter Milan and had a brilliant season that even got the attention of many club, only for him to come back to the English premier league with Chelsea and didn’t leave up to the hype, player really need to start learning from their mistakes fast.
1576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FLOKI (Floki Inu) good to invest ? on: June 17, 2022, 07:07:38 PM
Why are you interested in the project you mentioned (I won’t be mentioning the name of the project) you brought it up as a topic you ought to affix to it why you think it’s an option for you, then people can know how to direct you, the crypto-currency market world is very large with several coins in it, you need to first find what is what researching about a coin before progressing, well although I don’t believe in hype, but it’s could be one of the factors that can make you to research about any coin.
1577  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to know if your bank card is crypto friendly on: June 17, 2022, 06:46:02 PM
It thrills me every time I see people talking about crypto-currency in relation to their country, well that’s really far from me right now, because I come from a country that is still backwards in terms of the government accepting the fact that Bitcoin has come to stay, rather the fight it, it would be unheard off that a bank card from my country can be link to any crypto-currency infact some people has been arrested for getting credits that was as a result of crypto-coins. And until that changes this topic would just be another one to just improve my knowledge.
1578  Economy / Speculation / Re: WHAT EVENT DO YOU THINK WILL USHER BTC INTO THE NEXT BULLRUN? on: June 17, 2022, 05:53:20 PM
How many times has such predictions failed? A lot of times is the answer, for few years back many speculations has come out of bitcoin reaching $100,000 that same year but this never came through, I have always stood with not believing in speculations and predictions, honestly it doesn’t help the situation rather it can cause panic in form of making sales that wasn’t thought out properly or even buying the wrong coin.
1579  Other / Off-topic / Re: Irony of Life on: June 15, 2022, 08:06:52 PM
I can say you friend made the biggest mistake, and this is not to say that your friend buying Bitcoin is a big mistake no that’s far from it, in fact I believe it wise to own bitcoin, but your friend made a mistake by purchasing Bitcoin with out even having the basic knowledge of crypto-currency, I don’t know if this mistake is from those who introduced him to Bitcoin, but how can he invest in bitcoin without knowing how volatile the market is and weeping because of the first dip that’s comes, and besides that what happened to invest with what you can endure.
1580  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Energy used to mine Bitcoin with other industries. on: June 12, 2022, 08:13:23 PM
It’s not a new thing that the government leaders are always quick to use hold Bitcoin responsible for all it faults only even some which they exaggerate, for instance before Bitcoin where created, financial crimes like cyber crimes, money laundering, humanitarian crimes like terrorism human trafficking and so on all exited but now the government who doesn’t want Crypto-currency existence has shown to use see Bitcoin as the powering source for all this crimes am not suppressed if they blow the energy consumption of Bitcoin mining out of proportion.
