1561  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Lump sum Vs DCA" for Bitcoin Accumulation on: October 19, 2023, 02:20:33 PM
DCA is good, but there are sometimes that you will leave DCA alone and invest big amount. Let us say that you have been DCAing since some months ago and the price of bitcoin within one week fall to $20000, if you have money that you can use to invest at once, you will not hesitate but invest it immediately becuase you have speculated that bitcoin price may not fall further.

DCA is good when you do not know if the price of bitcoin will not increase or decrease. Or if you do not have enough money to invest at once.

You may invest at once if you analyzed the price of bitcoin is low already.

Investors may go for either of the two, it is what the price of bitcoin is at that will determine that.

There is also a time that investing is not good, when bitcoin has increased significantly several times.
1562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips on staying responsible. on: October 19, 2023, 02:08:49 PM
If you can make your own rules and stand by those rules, then you can be a responsible gambler. Don't ever consider gambling a source of income or a do-or-die kind of thing because it will lead you straight to becoming addicted to it.
Did you know that this is what that is driving most gamblers that are addicted into gambling addiction? They see gambling as a way to make money and they continue to use money to gamble thinking that they will make money from it but instead of making money they are losing. Gamblers should not have this kind of mentality if they do not want to to get hurt by gambling. Gambling is good but for those that do it in the correct way.

The first key to stay responsible in gambling is you must get a job first!
If you are above 18 or above the legal age for someone to begin gambling, you can gamble even if you do not yet have a job. But make sure that the money that you use is very small. Assuming your parent is giving you $50 weekly, you can gamble with $5 weekly. Also if you start working, you can have a plan like that with little amount of money.
1563  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Stainless steel or Titanium on: October 18, 2023, 07:56:29 PM
Besides to make titanium useful for extreme application it has to be alloyed with aluminum. Titanium aluminide is the material used for extreme applications.
According to what I saw about Titanium aluminide, it has high ductility which is the the ability of a material to have its shape changed if force is applied on it. Titanium is better, not tiitanium aluminide. Titanium aluminide also has a lower melting point if compared with pure titanium and instead of such alloy, stainless steel is better.
1564  Other / Beginners & Help / Stainless steel or Titanium on: October 18, 2023, 11:27:16 AM
I have noticed very well on this forum that stainless steel is good for seed phrase backup because it has high melting point which can be between 1400 to 1530 °C.

Recently I saw the review of iPhone 15 series and I noticed that titanium has a higher melting point which is 1668 °C.

I have not seen people recommending metal like Titanium on this forum. Is it not better than stainless steel?

Another question is that I found out that Tungsten has the highest melting point of all metal on the periodic table, which is 3422 °C. Is this not the metal that supposed to be used for seed phrase backup? Or is it very expensive and not affordable?
1565  Economy / Services / Re: Suppliers from China on: October 18, 2023, 06:37:31 AM
This supposed to be in service discussion as you have a service to offer.

Your Bitcointalk account was registered today at 03:25:06 AM and you posted this today at 03:44:55 AM. That was not up to 20 minutes when you registered your account that you posted this.

No professional work than a kind of writeup that scammers are commonly using.

No advise than people should avoid you.
1566  Other / Meta / Re: "You are searching too quickly" on: October 18, 2023, 06:29:57 AM
Why is it that Btalk search bar is slow as molasses? I make one search and the whole system is down for 10 minutes lol
You mean this error:

I do not think you will have to wait 10 minutes. For me it has me to wait just 4 seconds.

You can use the google search engine if you do not want something like that. But if you want a better search engine, use ninjastic.space
1567  Other / Meta / Re: Local China Subforums - Admin Probably Will Be Arrested And Transfered To China on: October 17, 2023, 06:53:52 PM
You must be joking.

Bitcointalk is banned in Russia. Do you know that?

People that are on this forum are benefiting than this forum is benefiting from them. Is that the reason a government of a country will do want you are talking about.
1568  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: signature campaign Vs review campaign on: October 17, 2023, 06:42:18 PM
If you want to let people to know your site like gambling site and also if you want them to continue to use your gambling site very well, you do not need a review campaign, just go for signature campaign. If you are able to pay for the signature campaign and able to satisfy your users, your gambling site will be used by people on this forum very well. If you have the money that you can spend on signature campaign, you can go for it.

You can also go for review campaign if you want people on this forum to test your site for you.
1569  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin ATM - Find Where To Buy/Sell BTC And Other Cryptocurrencies For Cash on: October 17, 2023, 06:17:04 PM
This is not new on this forum. Bitcoin ATM transaction fee is too expensive for me. For high amount of money, it will require identity verification. For small amount of money, it will require phone number verification. This will not be good for people that prefer decentralized exchanges and also the transaction fee is expensive.
1570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some gambling questions. on: October 17, 2023, 11:16:02 AM
Betting on a sporting event can occupy way more time than any slot machine might and cost me much less money.
In sport, some people can use in-play which can be very addicting and can cost much money. What I think that is most important is  discipline. In sport gambling sites, there is virtual betting that can be short too.

I use at least 20 dollars which is 15-17% of my weekly payment but sometimes can go up to over 100 dollars which is my complete weekly payment
You can use all your weekly payment for signature campaign? That means you have other means of earning money. I have other means of earning money, but I still rely on signature campaign earning more and that makes me not to spend up to 3 to 5% on gambling. This would also be about what individual will prefer.
1571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cash out or keep playing? on: October 17, 2023, 10:53:19 AM
Gambling or trading or investing, when you hit a big win, you must do the same.
They are not the same. They are not the same for me. If I have $1000. I can decide to gamble with $50 from it which is where the lowest money will go. I can trade with $200. I can invest the remaining $750 as hedge against inflation and also for investment. Gambling is more of a luck for me and I take it like that and it has been helping.

Cash out your initial capital, save it from gambling, trading or investing. Cash out part of profit to do something that can help you to enjoy your life like buying something, having a vacation, buying a course to learn something.

The rest money, you can continue to use it for gambling, trading, investing and I am sure you can afford losing it without losing your initial capital. It's good as you already enjoyed your life from part of profit too.
After a long bull run, I will convert all my coins to fiat and stable coins and wait for the next bear market to be over. That is when I will still prefer to trade little. But what you said applies to gambling for me also.
1572  Other / Meta / Re: Why did a mod delete my posts from 7-2 months ago that didn't violate any rules? on: October 16, 2023, 09:22:16 PM
If moderators are deleting your posts, it is becuase your posts is of low quality and spam. If you think your posts are not spam and of low quality, you can post them here with images to prove that.

Likely you were also given temporary ban which you might not know becuase you do not visit this forum with the around the time.
1573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think? Selling all or not on: October 16, 2023, 04:56:19 PM
I don't think selling all bitcoin in the bull market is a good idea. Why? Knowing the fact that the next bull price will still come as bitcoin continues to grow, so I don't think selling all my bitcoin in the bull market is the best.
Everyone is holdle bitcoin in the bear market and planning to sell in the bull market, now, when finally, the bull market  comes should I sell all my bitcoins and prepare to accumulate from afresh in the next bear market again? or should I keep some percentage to continue the accumulation?
You do not need to sell all, but if you have made enough profit, sell it in a way that if bitcoin price decreased below $15000 again, you will still be making profit. It is good not to sell all but in a way you will not lose when the next bear market is very severe and reaching the lowest level.

Well, I recommend you to sell most of your Bitcoin at $100k or above if next bull run crosses that mark.
Bitcoin will reach six digits and cross it. I am expecting over $150000.
1574  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: What wallet would you recommend? on: October 16, 2023, 12:14:42 PM
You will need to read more about mining before you will start. Miners are using noncustodial wallet as the receiving payment, not a custodial wallet. There are many noncustodial wallet that you can use to generate bitcoin addresses which you can give for receiving mining payment. Examples are if you run your own full node, you can use bitcoin, or use normal wallet like Electrum.
1575  Other / Meta / Re: I found something interesting on the forum! on: October 16, 2023, 08:33:47 AM
I think I have seen something like this before but I do not bother because 3153600 minutes is not a small digit and it is years.

Perhaps, my account have always remained logged in that is why I never really noticed the difference.
Your account will always stay logged in becuase 3153600 minutes means 6 years. Before 6 years, you would have because of some reasons, log out and log in again. You could have even changed your device.
1576  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Drake's Curse. on: October 15, 2023, 10:10:33 PM
Drake knows his numbers very well. He won’t gamble an amount he cannot afford losing unlike us wherein that loss of him would put us in the grave. That’s just how gambling works; if the other way around happened, we’d be in both awe and envy.
Higher the risk, higher the reward. For sure there are other people out there who are betting bigger amounts than ours, and we just have different level of tolerance.Drake has been losing amounts in such value not only in this fans so for sure he won’t be as down as with all of us. If he’d be in huge debt then for sure he won’t let it end in such way.
I do not know if he can be able to afford to lose that kind of money but if I am rich like him I can not use high amount of money like that to gamble. I think gambling should be more of fun than chasing money. Drake have reality means of making money and I do not think a celebrity like that supposed to be a good example should be gambling with that huge amount if money.
1577  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help this time with a personal situation on: October 15, 2023, 03:55:47 PM
You want $2 daily? Try and create good posts, read what people are posting on this forum, learn more also beyond this forum and be posing something that is useful to other people on this forum. Take your time to learn. Rank up and join a signature campaign. With signature campaign, you will see more than $2 daily.

Do not depend on signature campaign, but just for time like this.
1578  Other / Off-topic / Why Ubuntu? on: October 15, 2023, 03:25:52 PM
I have a old laptop which is not working very well with Windows 10 Pro up to recent updates. I bought it with windows 10 and it was working efficiently until many updates and I started to noticed it is not working very well like before even after I deleted over 400 gigabyte of files on it. This makes me to think of experiencing Linux instead of reverting back to Windows 10 lower version.

I have seen some guide about Linux. It is an open source operating system and I noticed there are many Linux distributions (distros). According to my research, there are over 600 distros, but the most common one is Ubuntu. There are other common ones like Dubian, CentOS, Fedora, Mint and many other ones.

I have chosen to use Ubuntu though which will require around 4.75 gigabyte of download and burn it on to a USD drive and install it in a way it would delete everything I have before on my laptop. I think I will understand the whole process but I have a question.

What is the advantage of Ubuntu over other Linux distros?

1579  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Whirlwind.money | ⚡No Fee⚡ | Ultimate Privacy | Anonymity Mining 12% APR on: October 15, 2023, 12:57:57 PM
No need to get offended, unless we have talked before.

Someone had told me via PM that 12% sounds enticing and I told him it sounds too good to be true and be cautious (not your keys, not your coins). Do you want to see the PM to be convinced?

Bitcoin doesn't have a central bank to promise guaranteed returns (like FED does with 5% bonds). So whenever someone promises you high yield returns with BTC, you have to wonder if you're the yield.

This is more about what that has been discussed before on this thread. You can go to previous pages and read what happened, why Whirlwind was tagged and how people that have evidence that they have coins their were refunded. Including what you have justed discussed now, was discussed at the time. I can remember that I pointed to it in the past on this same thread. No need for repetition after everything has been discussed.

1580  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it easy to trust someone? on: October 14, 2023, 09:05:32 PM
A lot of questions have no answers, but only a few have the right answers to 95% of some questions. Well, let me start with trust. Can you trust a person, either a friend, family or a relative, with 100% complete trust? Let me answer myself first? NO I can't. I can't trust anybody fully 100% anymore because I have seen some though cases.
I know my family and friends to some extent. If I was told that one of my family members or friends of mine did something bad, I would know if he or she can do it or not. We see ourselves, talk together, live together to know one another. But with how life is, you can not give anyone 100% trust, even your dad and mum can not have the 100% trust when you do not even give yourself 100% trust. Anyone that give himself 100% trust is only lying to himself.

However, almost all of us here have a fiat bank account and some of us have what we call a personal identification number, which refers to an ATM pin that we use for withdrawal or sending funds out, so the question is a bit simple: WHO DO YOU TRUST WITH YOUR BANK ATM PIN? if you have a person that you fully trust with your ATM pin, can you also trust that same person with your seed phrase?
Maybe that is a problem with me, I trust no one. But if it about ATM pin, I have the ones that I can give my family member or friend to help me withdraw from. If it is seed phrase, I trust no one, unless I have inheritance plan, which would be more of a way things would be done appropriately than trust.
