So i can expect to wait up to 30 days until my coins will stake again after i've moved them yesterday?!
Maybe. Honestly, there are three different opinions from intelligent people who looked at it. Since coins are still staking on the network and blocks are still moving, it's not an immediate threat. I'm in the same boat as you, though, I moved all of mine yesterday, too Oh dear so this means we not gonna get any staked balls for a month? Cos we moved our coins? This is not fair and this is not a solution for this issue. I know right! The dev of the coin tells us we have to move our coins then we find out we could lose up to 30 days of staking coins. That is a very large amount of balls possibly lost (200K + in wallet) and it is the Dev's fault. It was NOT an accidental event, the dev has admitted to making a mistake that caused this. Anyone that followed the direct advice of the dev and moved their coins should absolutely be compensated for the loss of coins. Also NOT happy that the dev does not care about the balls traders and people who helped get this coin to where it is today. The only people who seem to matter are the ones that bought his hardware. NOT COOL!!! Waiting for the dev to do the right thing. Taking a chance with his own coins to test is one thing telling everyone else to do the same without knowing the consequences is pure BS and not professional. Then he comes on and almost laughs it of saying he is in the same boat.....IS NOT GOING TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT. Don't move them, then. My advice is it's better to move them now than wait a month and find out you should have moved them today. I'm not laughing anything off. I completely understand the severity of both the benefits and consequences of my decision I made a mistake, yes, I'm not denying it. I put a wrong timestamp for 2014 instead of 2020, but I actually like the changes it made. It will create far less coins per day. All of you are being very selfish and looking at day to day staking. That's like looking at the moon one night and extrapolating patterns of revolutions. PoS itself is not built to be monitored on a daily basis This is a system built on yearly averages. After 24 hours you will start gaining coinage, which should increase your amount when you do finally stake YOU ARE MAKING THE SAME AMOUNT OF COINS WHILE STAKING - All you have to do is wait a little longer to start now, but there is no max, so once you start staking, your wallet will require ZERO maintenance and attention Everyone is affected the same, whether you are staking on a desktop or our units. The only reason not to fork is there are already specialized units out there that do nothing but stake these coins. If they don't update, they are useless, and not everyone will update them If your clients for hardware pay you 100$ per units I personaly investing +1.5 BTC in this coins. This is fair for you but not for all. Not all are in same boat.

But that also means there will be no max coinage, which means you can stake them forever once you get there without having to reset it If we not gonna get any staked balls for a month, this situations is not fair. Same people, probable more milions coins holders indirectly but realy are being penalized by your solutions.

Yes, once I post what I believe is happening it will explain the issues for the past couple days. There was an unintentional protocol switch that should have been disabled left active, which I actually am considering leaving in If I am correct and we decide to keep this change, I will really regret moving my coins this morning Why regret? What will happen with moved coins? I guess they won't stake anymore, right? I sent 10k balls to another wallet and although there are 10 confirmations, no amount had reached wallet that I sent. Do not send anything out of the wallet to not lose coins. Wait to see what happens, it's certainly not just a minor problem. @iGotSpots take the problem seriously and seek a solution as otherwise lose all. You can send coins just fine; that has nothing to do with the issue I sent in an exchange and are more than 35 minutes / 21 confirmations and do not appear there. I sent a ticket to see what happens and I'll see what I mean when I sent the coins. I posted here because the problem is not a minor one and if I can try to prevent some one not to make any move until a solution is found. You should fix that is to be solved, because the situation for 2 days ago is bad.

Let me know
From 1 hour ago, My coins weigh and network weigh grow up very fast. Just analyzes to see this. This is normal?

Im going to follow you here. It really just makes me wonder why in the same exact hour everyone hit the max coin age with all their coins. So can users send all their coins to themselves? Will that reset coin age?
Also I have 477,00 coins and stake weight is 0. So that means suddenly ALL my coins have reached 30 days at the same hour?
Vegas
Your stake weight is 640k. Your balance should be 0, though, since you lost the bet. @iGotSpots - In your opinion in a +24 hours after reset coin age, everything returns to normal? Yep. Even if you don't stake for 50 hours, you start accumulating coinage at 24, which increases rewards once you do finally stake Ok @iGotSpots. Thanks. I already have 25 hours from when I reset coins age. "Expected time to earn reward is 2 hours". Waiting to see how things will develop in the coming hours. I'll keep you posted. Stay tuned.

Thanks, I think I got it now... No matter when I move the coins I will only lose 24 hours of staking on any balance regardless of coin age.....do I got it right now? I LOVE SNOWBALLS....Happy Boxing day to you Correct. Worst case scenario is 24 hours lost (max). Even if you don't stake until hour 50, you start earning coinage at hour 24 @iGotSpots - In your opinion in a +24 hours after reset coin age, everything returns to normal?

They say a picture is worth a thousand words.. I say its worth 467,000 balls... enjoy. My address is: SMnkDm9BGY6oRTGcQUyL7R6DQ3td8LubMK EVERY pos coin does NOT list POW difficulty, NOT 1 . I even checked MMXIV, that lists difficulty as 3. THIS is the problem. Vegas MMXIV was indeed 3 difficulty while mining since the reward was 0 and I was mining it alone to move blocks, making nothing You lost. Send me the coins or everyone know you're a liar that is full of shit http://balls.blockexplorer.cc/chain/SnowballsCheck the difficulty tab yourself ouch vegas just lost it all lol He won't send them, I'm sure. It's ok, though, nobody that bets me ever does While You chatted, problem remains. Those problems reported here are a few to hundreds of thousands and only together they have already + 1 million coins. There is no more nor less. So it must be considered as such this situation. Dev must consider the situation. it is not an isolated phenomenon. It's not about a few thousand coin wallet. I ask respectfully that besides waiting to see what happens the hours that followed, to seriously look at this situation by dev. We are all members of this coin, and that we should get along common interest and we treat as such. Sorry for my english. Ok, I looked again. Blocks are still being found Regarding the difficulty I found something in debug: 22:39:20 getdifficulty 22:39:20 { "proof-of-work" 1113085.62605412, "proof-of-stake": 0.10477888, "search-interval": 1 } Exactly. Thanks Believe it or not, I do have some idea of what I'm doing after being here for nearly 2 years Please explain. In your opinion in a +24 hours after reset coin age, everything returns to normal?

Not so fast : why when I type: getmininginfo does it respond "generate" : false
Does this NOT disable minting/staking?
Again Im not a dev, but this is a command Ive used in the past on other wallets to disable minting for special reasons.

Not timestamp: So Im clear, If I prove 100% with a screenshot, that I have found the problem, youll send me 467,000 balls correct? Please reply that you agree. EVERYONE with the problem will see same and agree there is NO DOUBT this is causing THIS problem. ok?

Sure, but your balance is 477,054.28 currently with SMnkDm9BGY6oRTGcQUyL7R6DQ3td8LubMK. I bet it starts staking and goes up again soon Unless you lock it or fucked something up locally. The network is still moving as normal. If people weren't staking, it wouldn't be moving Those problems reported here are a few to hundreds of thousands and only together they have already + 1 million coins. There is no more nor less. I wouldn't have moved coins unless you know you were up for the monthly reset
How do we check coin age without a coin control feature? How do we move the coins that are 30+ days old and keep the newer ones in the wallet to keep staking? Good question.

If blocks stop being fpund, we have a problem, but I've triple checked and everything seems to be ok network-wise
In what way can we have a problem? Can you be more specific? You iGotSpots are a dev of this coin, we have invested some BTC here and I would like to know exactly what is happening. You should be able to tell us something concrete This is like asking a pilot to explain why the plane is crashing when you hit 3 seconds of turbulence. There is nothing wrong on the network, so there is nothing to report Blocks are being found every few minutes, which means people are staking as normal. If a block is found, someone just staked, so it's obviously still working. I'm not sure what you want me to say, I'm not going to make up an issue and say there is a problem if there's not From what I've seen most of those who reported a problem with the fact that no staking, there are some who have hundreds of thousands of coins. We should be more careful to seek solutions and taking the situation seriously. The only thing I have in mind is everything to be treated seriously, before he reached to collapse altogether. Of those who had problems and they reset coins age, anyone who earned stakes again? please leave a message and others to know that. It's going to take at least 24 hours When I have more than 20 hours since I reset coins age. Waiting to see what happens by the end of today.
