I would personally only buy either physical bitcoins or litecoins, probably won't go with doge or anything unless it's unfunded.
Also, consider how you would generate private keys. People are becoming more and more cautions when handling private keys.

I have thought about this too for a while since I was also considering making some coins just for a bit of fun.
So it really bothers me that people can know the private keys on the coin. My naive solution to the problem would be to video tape literally every single step for private key generation, blur out the actual private keys when generating it and then show on camera that you completely destroy all private keys and any evidence of private keys.
y/n?
edit: and of course this also covers the case where the maker may just rip off the stickers after the video and then generate new private keys, since you can video the public key, and then verify that you are infact selling coins with the private keys you generated on camera.

Bump! Still more coins for you to buy/reserve!

The lettering looks illegible so I wouldn't suggest accepting it. Considering how big the coin is, the mint should have plenty of real estate to make the lettering readable.
I'm personally in favor of a new nice clean design, as long as its not going to hold you up much. I'm not in love with just the repetitive words on the reverse.
But either way, I'm still in for one coin and will support whatever decision is made. Thanks for the heads-up.
I share halo's opinion here The 'centre ring' of the nasty logos looks strange only being part complete and also out of line. The pattern of a series of rings each getting smaller, but with the same number of logos and lined up with the other rings logos, forming a complete ring should be maintained, if that is the design. If the design of the back gets changed, I'd probably want a coin. And that kinda sucks since I would miss out on that pre-order bundle.

The have awesome looking half pound bitcoin copper bars. I would definitely buy 1 or 2, but shipping to me is 28$ just for 1. and I don't know if it would be cheaper to go through someone here anyway.

Those are some seriously great grades! Congrats!
would you do bulk discounts for the brass tenths?
|
|
|
I haven't read the other read pages to see if there is an answer for my question, but are there any discounts for multiple coins?
|
|
|
Also, would someone sell up to 500$ worth of stuff if you can only buy it for 100$? Dodge.

do you think this coins will be revalued in futures? I'ts pretty tough to say. All coins are compromised but only a few were minted, and they are all top notch quality. I'm a short term seller, not a long term one which is why I'm selling all of my coins and I'll buy some new ones soon. I'd probably say that these will gain some value, but not as much a Casascius coin would.

What will happen if pre-orders don't get filled? (I'm sure it will though). Are you just going to scrap the coin or mint anyway and then sell the other remaining coins?

Too late Congratulations EcuaMobi! Congrats! My laptop literally died out on that last minute

I see you have a 22% discount per coin for batches in 10 or more. So it will be 1.08498BTC for 10? That's a pretty good price! Not quite There is a mention "Discount applies only to the physical coin value, not the bitcoin value." and this can cause a bit of confusion. It will all be clear once you have the possibility to play around at the shopping cart. Let me explain: The total price for 10 loaded 1/10 BTC coins without a discount would be 1.391 BTC. Then you need to take the bitcoin value out which would be 1 BTC. Then calculate 22% discount for 0.391 BTC which is would be a total of 0.30498. So the discounted price would be 1.30498 BTC. Ah of course. Sorry, I must have missed that part. I was about to ask how on earth it can be so cheap Nevertheless, this project still looks very promising. All the best!

I think we should set a time that satisfies the times for the most bidders, but whatever that time is, it should be in the weekend I don't know about everyone else, but I can say it would be easier to stay up in the weekends.
