15641  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Slides Under $7,600 as Market Dips Below $300 Billion on: March 31, 2018, 04:53:12 AM
Bitcoin has fallen below the $7,600 mark for the first time since March 19. Earlier today, the price of bitcoin dropped to $7,530, after peaking at $8,150 less than 20 hours ago.
As of this post, bitcoin is sitting on 6823 USD price according to preev and somehow I think it is a good sign that bitcoin is not dropping fast compared to the bearish trend it has shown way back after the gox incident. This is a good indicator that history would not repeat itself and a great sign of bitcoin's resilience. For now, the best thing to do right now if one haven't sold yet is to hold, although that is the case, I think this isn't the best time to buy some coins.

well history has already repeated itself!
price has already fallen big time, current price is about 65% lower than the ATH and we have had up to 70% drop so far. and it had little to do with Gox thing. but i agree that if they haven't sold already then it is way too late to start doing it now that price has fallen this much.
15642  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Bitcoin Stuck on Watching-Only Electrum! How to Send/Use it again? on: March 31, 2018, 03:22:29 AM
as far as i know Armory uses a specific seed which can not be used in any other client (it is not BIP32 or BIP39) so your only option is to go to your Armory and export the private keys of addresses with funds individually and then import them into your Electrum.

in Armory double click your address with funds and select "View Address Keys", you will be asked to enter your password

also for Electrum http://docs.electrum.org/en/latest/faq.html#can-i-import-private-keys-from-other-bitcoin-clients
15643  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Price manipulation & Suppression done by Cartels? on: March 31, 2018, 03:07:24 AM
first of all articles that start with something like "i called the drop before" or "i called the rise before" have no value in my eyes since the author is obviously desperate for attention that he has to celebrate his guess accuracy!

secondly he is focusing too much on a very short time in bitcoin (from Oct 2017) and doesn't look at the history at all. all the things he is describing in that link has been happening for years. we have had at least 4 other bubbles just as big which ended up with a very similar bear market right after and it is always the same dumps by whales or cartel or whatever you like to call them. and it is always because the market is too small still.
15644  Economy / Speculation / Re: Those who sold bitcoin are in for a big loss on: March 31, 2018, 02:56:08 AM
personally, I think they will be a big loss because now everywhere dropped currency and in a few weeks I think it strongly rises to the top and she wakes up to be not likely money

price rise after someone sells his bitcoin doesn't have to be a "big loss" for him as long as he buys back! in fact sometimes selling is not a bad idea if you also follow two important things:
1. never sell at the bottom. which means you should either sell when the drop starts and is in its early stages not after days past an the  drop slowed down and was near the end.
2. buy back. which means buying back at the bottom after the drop ended or was near the end or buy back if price started rising after you sold, you may lose a little but prevent bigger losses when you buy back.
15645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Even 1 cent for bitcoin may be too expensive on: March 31, 2018, 02:47:57 AM
just because you don't understand how supply and demand works it doesn't mean the price is high.

and in the end if you really thought 1 cent was too much for bitcoin and if you really thought it is in fact in a gigantic bubble then you wouldn't have been here now saying this stuff!
an looking at your post history you have been trying to spread FUD ever since price started falling which leaves me with only one conclusion that you are trying to short bitcoin and make more money.
15646  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google has been charged in Russia. on: March 31, 2018, 02:38:59 AM
lost what opportunity? Cheesy
the opportunity to invest in ICO scams that keep on coming out and use to use Google to advertise their scam? or maybe he was trying to make his own ICO scam and he couldn't get the same number of gullible newbies to lose their money into his scam!
to be honest Suing google for this seems more like a joke and since the source of it is not really valid i am going to assume it is a joke. and by the way the source is in Chinese!
15647  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading was fun! on: March 30, 2018, 05:12:09 AM
there is no way of knowing for sure, but based on the information you are providing i have a feeling that you are trading based purely on luck not skills!
for example it doesn't seem you are buying coins because you analyzed the market, it seems like you buy them (FAITH for instance) because you are making a bet. and gambling with your money in trading turns out fine sometimes and bad the others.
and this is not the right way of trading if you want to be successful for real in the long run.
15648  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin going moon starting from June. Don't sale your Bitcoin right now !! on: March 30, 2018, 04:59:13 AM
it is already known by everyone that we are in a bear market, before we may have had some doubts but now we are sure. and this bear market is going to last a while. however, i still think that this time it won't last as long as previous times but it still wouldn't be a short one either.
so if i were you, i wouldn't have jumped to calling a date for the start of the bull market because that would be impossible to predict at this point and with all the FUD that has been coming out i don't see a trend reversal happening this fast and easy.
15649  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where is the bottom for BTC price? 6K, 5K or even lower? on: March 30, 2018, 04:49:41 AM
Secondly, lots of investors still believe price will slump to lower prices again, they’re waiting to buy in at $5,000, $4,000 even $3,000.

lots of investors are always waiting for some weird prices at all times. just like they were waiting for $50000 to sell their coins they are not waiting for $5000 to buy bitcoin. them waiting for it doesn't mean these prices will be reached and also them waiting for it doesn't mean they will act on it if the price was reached! it have seen multiple times that when the price drops, people who have been waiting for that price get greedy and wait some more just to waste a perfect opportunity.
15650  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [[Important]] Newbie and beginner look here please... on: March 30, 2018, 04:30:05 AM
Yes, you are right. But as a bounty hunter i have to give my email in different bounty campaign.

There are certainly situations where you can't help but to display it publicly  Cry which is why it's better to organize your emails. In short make a separate email account per purpose e.g. ABC account for personal use, BCD account for 50/50 situations where you feel you'll be spammed etc...

P.S. If my memory serves me right, I have 6 email accounts lol.

...or you could simply use a throwaway Email aka temp-main for these purposes!
there are quite a lot of them out there, there is one that i like called https://temp-mail.org/en/ which also has a nice API service which you can use!

also i believe Email providers like Yahoo and Google allow you to do something like that. i don't remember how since i used it a very long time ago but it was inside your inbox and similar to your Email.
so lets say your Email is Potato_Chips@gmail.com, your temp main could be Potato_Chips_temp1@gmail.com and you could discard the temp one whenever you wanted.
15651  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Label on: March 30, 2018, 04:22:16 AM
there has been some bugs with Labels for some time now. there was a bug with 3.1 about 24 days ago which was fixed. there is another bug with labels which seems to still persist.

i have experienced this bug too but only for versions below 3 although i think it still exists.

also you should know that LabelSync stores your labels on a remote server, it is encrypted before being unloaded to the server but you should at least know what it is before deciding whether to use it or not.
15652  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SPRING AFTER THE WINTER on: March 30, 2018, 04:10:39 AM
Big time investors like Warren Buffet, treats bear market as an OPPORTUNITY. They buy while the market is in its very low value, equipping themselves for the future.
HODL my brothers, winter is here.

these two are contradictory!
taking advantage of a bear market and seeing it as an opportunity means you either continuously short bitcoin while it is dropping or you do pull out at the start of the market (not near the end obviously) and then wait for the bottom to buy as much bitcoin as you can.
HODL means missing opportunities that this market is now offering you.

HODL is only for those who don't want to trade or at times when you can't predict the market.
15653  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be the only remaing cryptocurrency online!!! on: March 30, 2018, 03:51:26 AM
i believe fiat will always be around and won't become obsolete just because of bitcoin. that doesn't mean bitcoin won't grow though! bitcoin will continue to become bigger and bigger and as time passes we will continue to see more adoption happening all around the world. and i think it was already proven that bitcoin can not be stopped, it is a revolutionary currency that is strong because of its decentralization.
15654  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's happening to Bitcoin? on: March 30, 2018, 03:32:53 AM
it is more like what happened not what's happening. and what happened was a lot of FUD and manipulation, where whales kept dumping until they successfully started the bear market. now there is a large number of investors who took their money out of bitcoin and are waiting for this shenanigan to stop so that they can come back in.
them going out means the way down is a path with least resistance Cheesy
15655  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will BTC test 5970 USD as it goes into contango on: March 30, 2018, 03:24:59 AM
one thing that i have always believed about bitcoin price is that whenever you break some major buy support and keep the sell pressure up to prevent the jump back up, the price will continue sliding down a lot more. i don't see any significance for $5970 though
the first major buy support was at $10k which was broken in January with a lot of manipulation and whale dumps and ever since that day price has been struggling. right now we are seeing $6k as another one.
15656  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Big gains come with big losses on: March 29, 2018, 05:20:04 AM
I remember when eth had its climb up $1400 people were ecstatic and they thought that we were never gonna see sub $1k eth again when just a few months ago eth was just $300.  This greed brought on by the price influxes is blinding people from the reality that crypto prices cant keep going up forever.

people always get caught up in the pump and dumps and when they see the constant advertisement telling them how ETH is good, how it will replace bitcoin, and all the rest of the nonsense they tell them, they start believing in them and pour their money in it.
but when they get dumped on they start opening their eyes and realize it was all an illusion and all those advertisements were lies. so the panic sells begin.
unfortunately panic sells of the rest of the altcoins which don't have a fiat market can bring bitcoin price down too because these people have to sell altcoins to bitcoin then bitcoin to fiat to get out and that can crash bitcoin a little.
15657  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fall of crypto is near on: March 29, 2018, 05:07:07 AM
I am in immense pain to say that i foresee the fall. I would not be surprised if we lose from this point to 50-60 percent.
Accirding to my knowledge institutional investors are bidding out from crypto and stocks.
Stocks has already dwindling now and same will comeback to crypto.
I know some will say it is a fud but friends i am not joking. You are free to not  to buy my thoughts.

it is FUD because you have no proof, you are saying some random stuff and say "according to my knowledge" and leave it at that. it may come true or it may not but still you are spreading FUD here, that doesn't change.

and i have to say just because price is going down it doesn't mean money is getting out. of course a lot of newbies who only know how to make money from price rise are going out, that part is obvious but the real investors don't go anywhere. there is a lot of ways to make a lot of money from a bear market too. and not to mention all the bitcoin accumulation that can happen when prices fall.
15658  Economy / Speculation / Re: instead of seeking reasons,... just adjust your strategies to new trend! on: March 29, 2018, 04:56:22 AM
$300mil of tether printed.... there was a small bump to $9k and now back..  perhaps a new surge will be fueled or has already flamed out?

If this pushes to $10k somehow, then in near future probably best to cash out and run to hills...  if not, and it keep sliding then no one can leave

printing new tether never had anything to do with bitcoin price to begin with and nothing about releasing new USDT has changed, they are still "printing" it like before and price is now dropping and that is proof enough that all this tether drama was pure bullshit that was started by some idiot on the internet.

in case you see some small rise after the tether thing, it may be because of some FOMO buyers who fell for the bullshit thinking it actually is a thing.
15659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Will these low transaction fees and times last?? on: March 29, 2018, 04:46:55 AM
~
Lightning Network still requires broadcasting transactions to the network when you want to open a channel or close and old onel. That's why some people say that we will have to increase the blocksize anyway. Lightning Network is still not widely used among merchants so I don't think that is the reason of low transaction fees. It looks like batching and growing SegWit adoption does the good job of off-loading the load.

we need to increase the capacity and increasing the blocksize is not the only way of doing that. for starters SegWit is increasing the capacity. there are also other solutions such as signature aggregation and schnorr,... that can increase the capacity in the future. we may eventually increase the blocksize also but it seems to me that is a long ways down the line.
as for LN, from what i see, the way it can help scaling is that it has the potential to move a large number of transactions out of blockchain. for example imagine all the major exchanges (coinbase, kraken, bitfinex, bitstamp, poloniex, binance) started using LN, blocks may become mostly empty in that case and you don't need to open and close channels each time you make a transaction.
15660  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trying to get referrals, how do you do it? on: March 29, 2018, 04:31:17 AM
For a simple sign up type referral, its best to use a PTC site.

Personally, I use AdBtc since it has been pretty effective for me.

Getting referrals is really just a matter of getting your ad in front of a large number of people.

Spend $5-10 of BTC on a simple ad with your referral link and see what that gets you.  You could also 'self-fund' by viewing ads for 1-2 weeks on the platform and then putting those satoshis into an ad.  You can get a view for 10 sat

There are a lot of people who post ads for PTC sites, faucets, etc.

I've never had much luck with other types of social media (FB, Twitter, etc) but using a PTC site work well for me.

PTC sites are only good to get some traffic and nothing else, even that traffic is not good enough because it is coming from a PTC site and from a bunch of people who don't care about your content.
when you use it for your referral code (wanting to get sign ups) you won't get any because they will just visit to get paid not sign up to get paid. and even if they do sign up or if it is a "sign up to get paid" kind of deal, their involvement will stop at the sign up. and usually you need them to be active for you to earn anything not just sign up!
so you'll just waste your money on PTC.

if you want real referrals that are going to give you profit for your time and effort then you also have to choose your target audience wisely. try directing your focus to those who are looking for what you want to advertise.
