15641  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Belgium: Afghan migrant, 16, 'rapes worker at asylum centre' on: February 24, 2016, 04:42:49 AM
I'm not outraged.  I feel nothing more about this rape than I do about all the rapes that happened today and the billions of rapes that happened since the beginning of sex.  I've unplugged the TV and will no longer trade my dollars for an opportunity for fake grief.  Tomorrow I probably won't care about Wednesday's rapes unless it's someone I know.

And even then I might just tune that out as well.  But hey, thanks for posting this.  It was a great read.
15642  Economy / Economics / Re: US traders no longer legally can trade bitcoin futures anywhere! Bad news on: February 24, 2016, 04:39:28 AM
I'm all for free markets--really I am--but bitcoin can survive and thrive without derivatives.  So can the stock market, so can all markets.
15643  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Robertt scammed me for 0.2BTC on: February 24, 2016, 04:30:46 AM
I haven't spent much time over in the currency exchange section of this forum.  I don't expect to get anything back, I have already written this off as a loss.  Just trying to get the word out to other potential victims.
And you have green trust.  I find that a little bit amazing, truth be told.  Even if you don't spend much time in the currency exchange section you really have no excuse for not knowing that PayPal is the worst way to do deals with bitcoin when the PayPal party is not trusted.  And I agree with the others when they say you ought to have known better.
15644  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I made a pizza guy laugh today. on: February 24, 2016, 01:53:25 AM
Well that's interesting.  When I get pizza delivered I'm usually trying to shove my cats back thru the door and don't have time for conversation whilst paying the (wo)man.  It's always a giant clusterfuck.
15645  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware of users scamming WITH escrow! on: February 24, 2016, 01:49:06 AM
Thank you for the heads up.  I have yet to use escrow, but I don't do many deals here anyway.  Unbelievable how many scammy asshats there are on this forum.
15646  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 'World peace' hitcher is murdered on: February 23, 2016, 11:53:33 PM

There are members of my own fucking family who've died and I've not shed a tear.

You cold heartless prick! Grin

The point you make is interesting because relating is one way humans seem to be able to step outside themselves.
Media does abuse this and parades a cute dog story after stories like this to keep us from being overloaded.

When I see the migrants coming across the waters a part of me hates that humans are suffering enough to make this venture but the other side wonders if it will change things for the worse. When I read this article I thought she was naive enough to think the world was
something she understood and could change.
When people are forced to make decisions they often shed the outlook of every one needs to be on a level playing field.
Once we break through to those people we can make a change, but nothing till then.

Lol.

I work in a helping profession and I'll admit I'm probably burned out,  but I do feel strongly that the media does just what you said and I hate it.  It's why I don't watch tv anymore.
15647  Other / Meta / Re: LOL - Lauda and iCEBREAKER openened censored threads on: February 23, 2016, 02:22:27 PM
OP what are you talking about exactly?  It would be helpful if you at least provided links.  It's not a useful topic if we have to guess what the fuck you're talking about--but that seems to be the case with about every other topic on bitcointalk anyway.
15648  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Robertt , a scammer on: February 23, 2016, 02:09:40 PM
You need to provide proof and not just fling an accusation.  And are you seriously promoting MMM?
15649  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: "avatar campaign not pay, damn" on: February 23, 2016, 02:07:07 PM
Tough shit you scammy asshole.  I'm trying to put that as nicely as possible.  You joined an avatar campaign that apparently panders to 3rd world cuntry bitcointalk scunts, so it isn't surprising you didn't get paid.  You're lucky you didn't end up with a trojan bitcoin stealer or something.

15650  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.025 BTC loan [ No collateral ] on: February 23, 2016, 05:46:23 AM

I have 2 domains if you find them useful as collateral.

btcstore.xyz and bitcointhiefs.com

please tell me what more you want as a collateral ( I have a potential full member too , which is currently newbie )

Lol. Nobody will buy a domain with the name "thief" Grin
And xyz gTLD is not at all better.
So both the collateral are worthless at least to me.

If you have any nearly stable altcoin with 120% of the asking amount then I will fill up the loan provided you send the coins first or use escrow.
And I will also have the right to sell them anytime if the price falls down below the marginal point.

Idiot, spammer, forum destroyer ... you guys dont have a brain and simply have a mouth which keeps on talking until it gets kicked.

If you want to make a website where you want to list all the scammers and thiefs of bitcoins, wont this be useful, and who asked you to post here, did I asked you loan ?

I am going to report idiots like you for sure. And I will try to get you removed.

Please a humble request, keep your mouth shut, because no matter what rank you get, once your mouth is opened, everyone understands your mental level.

I dont think you are studied any higher than 8th standard.
You've got to be kidding.  Your collateral is pretty much worthless, but not for the "thief" thing.  Domains just don't make for good collateral in general.  And as for reporting Indiana, you don't have a leg to stand on my friend.  What he asked for--a stable altcoin worth 120% of the loan amount--is exactly in line with forum protocol.  And you don't have it.  And you haven't gotten the loan, SHOCKER.  It is you who comes off as a middle schooler by your response.
15651  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 'World peace' hitcher is murdered on: February 23, 2016, 05:25:16 AM
I'm going to be honest and contrary here.  This woman's death affects me just the same as every other Italian death and every Turkish death, which is not at all and it doesn't matter to me in the least what the circumstance of her death was.  The people who feel heartbroken over stuff like this, well you're watching grief porn and that's exactly what the media sells.

There are members of my own fucking family who've died and I've not shed a tear.
15652  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC at $435. Is it sustainable? on: February 23, 2016, 05:10:15 AM
Well we're holding on to $440 or so, but I don't know where we're headed.  Hopefully not only will $435 be sustainable (I know this thread is a few months old), but we'll go significantly higher than that.
15653  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: farmer_accounts scammer on: February 23, 2016, 05:08:23 AM
"Ok I'll take the risk"  is what he said?  LOL

I'm sorry OP, you got played like a sucker and you should have known better than to send bitcoin to a newbie first.  Don't do that.  You're not a noob, come on.
15654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Explain Ethereum to Me on: February 23, 2016, 05:00:51 AM
Oke I want to know a lot about Ethereum because it really is still a little vague to me.

I only heard/saw it about 2 weeks ago and I immediately researched it on Youtube/Internet.

What I have come to understand about it is this: (Correct me if i'm wrong.)

Ethereum is revolutionary compared to Bitcoin's Sourcecode.
Ethereum can take over all kind of existing businesses and even Fiat money and implement it in the blockchain?
Ethereum itself is the coin but there is also a fuel that runs it?
You can create a coin inside Ethereum and use it for your own purposes?

This coin just raises a lot of questions for me i'm sure I have some more soon

My understanding is following (not sure if correct):

Ethereum is like giant, decentralized computer, for which you can write dapps (decentralized applications). dapps can be anything, decentralized facebook, marketplace, new decentralized currency, decentralized exanged, and many many more. For example, one of the more interesting dapps are http://www.augur.net/ or https://etherex.org/ at the moment.

Eth (Ether) is a coin/token used to "fuel" the network. Ppl provide resources (cpu, disk space, ram) for the dapps and enforcing dapps rules on their nodes and get rewarded by Eth (mining basically). Off course they can also pay for dapps services with eth, if they want to. If you run your own dapp on Ethereum network, need to pay for it with Eth.

So in short, bitcoin is decentralized currency, Ethereum is decentralized applications.

OK that sort of makes sense to me, thank you for that explanation.  I can't say I'm now familiar with it but I get the concept of the P2P decentralized thingees.  Interesting, and now it looks as if ETH is having a little spike again on Yobit.  I was not ballsy enough to actually buy any, so I'm just going to stay on the sidelines watching.  Smiley
15655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Returning to the scene & Apologies for all on: February 23, 2016, 04:58:05 AM
Never heard of you, who are you and what did you do that you figured warranted such a...heartfelt...apology.
I know, I was thinking the same thing myself but I've only been around bitcointalk for a year or so.  OP, what were your transgressions?  I'm dying to know.
15656  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Here’s How I Would Bring Down Bitcoin on: February 23, 2016, 04:41:47 AM
Hahaha, Lauda yes it sounds familiar but all of those things happen in a typical day at work for me and on this forum and wherever women gather.  This is like your horoscope where it's a bunch of generalizations that are just so typical that it's not much of a prediction at all.  The predictions are usually correct.
15657  Other / Meta / Re: One user 2-3 accounts in a discussion on: February 23, 2016, 04:39:17 AM
Zeke2345, be careful with those consecutive posts that you made.  We just had a pretty active, trusted member here get a temp ban for doing exactly that.  Don't know if there was some politics behind it, but I'm just saying.
15658  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Have Solid Trust Pay Want Bitcoin on: February 23, 2016, 04:37:15 AM
Have $30 Solid Trust Pay looking for Bitcoin.
Pardon me, but what the fuck is Solid Trust Pay?  Never heard of it.
15659  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hasim.12( Hasim Jerh) SCAMM ME, SCAMM REPORT on: February 23, 2016, 04:36:11 AM
To help how? I was scamm and nobody wants to help me
Grow up and stop whining like a 6 year old child.  I bet you have your thumb in your mouth right now and your cheeks are red.  There's not much this community can do for you, so you need to suck it up, smarten up, and move on.  Don't trade via Skype and don't be a sucker.  It sounds harsh but you're playing up the victim role here to no end.
15660  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: What mess is going on in the transactions ? on: February 23, 2016, 12:29:28 AM
Sometimes it take around 24 hrs to get the transcation complete.
It can be due to network congestion.
You just wait for 24 to 36 hrs and your transaction will be completed.
I just had this happen to me using Mycelium.  I was ultra cheap with the miners' fee and it took well over 20 hours for the transaction to finally get confirmed.  Oy.  OP I don't know why yours isn't confirming.  Could it be the same deal, not enough of a fee?
