After the excellent campaign that Benfica had been doing in the championship, and having been 10 points ahead, few expected such an exciting end to the season. With only 5 games left for the end of the season, we have 3 teams capable of being champions: Benfica, Porto and Braga. It will be quite interesting how this final phase of the season will go.
Benfica would still be the winners of the league. They lost two games in a row against Porto and against Chaves but I feel they have shaken off those defeat and are now on the winning path. Braga and Sporting CP are among the final five games they have to play before the season ends and those are the only games that might be a problem for them. The other three teams they have to play are teams that wont necessarily be a problem to them. It would be really painful for Benfica if they somehow lose out on the league title after having so much points ahead of the other teams this season.

And yes, now Marseille has regained second place in the Ligue1 standings, although this position is not completely safe for Marseille because Marseille's number of points is still very close to Lens, who is in third place.
Even though I'm rooting for Lens to take back the second position, I'm beginning to think it wont happen. I love watching Lens this season. I enjoy how they play. I would really like them to finish the season on second position but looking at the final six games that both Lens and Marseille have, Lens have the tougher fixtures. Lens play Toulouse next and I expect them to win that game, after that they face Marseille. That game might be the decider. Whoever wins that game might get to hold on to the second position till the end of the league season. I hope Lens wins because they will be playing at home.

Benzema is even better compared with haaland. If we are seeing based on the history and benzema has ever won ballon d'or as the best striker. It's not only benzema. You shall remember that if there are so many players in madrid who have same capability to make the goals. Valverde, rodrygo, Vini and many more. I remember when rodrygo was destroying manchester city last season by creating comeback against real madrid. Manchester city is strong but im thinking now if real madrid is in another level compared with manchester city. The consistency of real madrid is also very good at this moment. Madrid has won a trophy and it may increase as madrid become even closer to the copa del rey and UCL. Glad to see that if bookies were favoring city instead of real madrid. That makes me feel so good with
If both Man City and Real Madrid are at their best then I'm afraid, Man City is winning the tie. Man City's best is better than Real Madrid's best. Man City on their best can beat any team. The treat Real Madrid pose most is not their current form or their players, its how effective they are in the Champions league and logically speaking, you can't use that to judge the outcome of a match because its not everything it works. If that always works them Madrid would have won the champions league every year. On paper and based on current form, Man City is the favorites but we know the favorite doesn't always win the champions league.

There is no big privileges to Cristiano Ronaldo inAl Nassr on field. I saw some of his team mates actually wanted to score goals by themselves in some situations at which if they make passes to Ronaldo, chance to score a goal would be bigger.
At this point in Ronald's career he shouldn't always be trying to lead a team, Instead he should just relax and help the team in whatever way he can when called upon. If he had this attitude he would have still been in Europe. He's old, he has achieve everything there is to achieve in football. He should stop trying to always be in a competition with people and just try to enjoy himself. The more he keeps trying and failing to be the number one in world football, the more people keep remembering him for only his recent performances. At Juventus, his fans blamed the whole team but Ronaldo, At Man United, his fans blamed the whole team but Ronaldo, now the same thing is happening at All Nassr. You got to sit down and see that he doesn't add as much as he's worth anymore, and that's okay because he's old and he's got nothing to prove.

Maybe it isn't realistic for Real Madrid to catch up with Barcelona in the La Liga as of now. But they are still competing in the Champions League and Copa del Rey both. They have a chance for two titles theoretically but we will see. It doesn't feel like they will win the Champions League title once again this season. But if they play ambitiously against Osasuna they can at least win the Copa del Rey title to not finish the season without a single achievement.
The champions league is the more difficult one to win because they face Man City. I know how good Madrid is in the champions league and I know that they normally win it even when the odds are not in their favor, but I don't think that will repeat itself this season. Man City had some loopholes last season, such as the lack of a striker. They have filled those hold this season with big shoes so except they have an injury crisis, Man City will make it to the final. I wonder if Ancelotti will leave the team in the summer as well like in the speculations. Because it has been like he will leave no matter what kind of a result they at the end of the season. In that case would we see Zidane back in the team? I guess not. Even if Zidane decides to manage a team in Europe I think PSG would be his priority at the moment. By the way Kroos and Modric are also about to be out of contract so there will be some big changes in the midfield as it seems. Ancelotti is leaving Madrid even if he wins the champions league and Copa del rey. There are rumors that he will be the new coach of the Brazil national team. Zidane isn't going back to Madrid, and I have not see any report that Madrid wants him. He is not on the list of Managers that may take over the Madrid job, but Julian Nagelsmann is a name I like on that list.

PSV took out Ajax, pretty unexpected outcome, and they are now on road to secure Champions league next season Ajax will have to fight for third spot, or they will join Conference league, if AZ overcome them on position 3
The score line doesn't do justice to that match. Ajax didn't play badly, except for the fact that they were horrible in front of goal. They fumbled too many goal scoring opportunities in that match. It was a very interesting match from start to finish. I expected Ajax to win but they couldn't even score a goal, but that is football, PSV deserved the win. They played better. They were very direct and made use of their chances. Let me use this opportunity to praise Xavi Simon. He's such a sensation. He was a handful for Ajax, they couldn't cope with him. I can even say PSV would not have been able to win that match without him.

Of course, the PSG fans think Messi isn't giving enough/his best for the club like he does when he is on International duty with Argentina, or when he played for Barcelona, and imo i think the fans are well within their rights to think that way. When they signed Messi there was quite a lot of optimism around the club, the fans thought he was the final piece of the puzzle that could finally deliver the CL for them, but two consecutive seasons now and they've been eliminated in the RO16 stage.
PSG fans are not in a position to blame Messi for their woes. Have they seen their team? They have a very average team; average midfield and average coach. Almost all their attacks comes through Lionel Messi. The attack of PSG is the only functioning part of that team and it functions mainly because of Messi. He is the link between the midfield and the attack. Messi has 20 goals and 19 assist this season, he should be having more assist if his teammates don't waste most of his passes, Mbappe included. Its no secret that Messi is no longer the player he was at 27 but even at 36 he's still the best in the business when talking about overall football. He's human, and if he doesn't feel motivated at a particular place he cant perform like where he is motivated.

And that's why I chose Sevilla this season. Juventus have been absent from the Europa League final for quite a long time and Sevilla are still the most dominant team to qualify for the final. I don't really like to say Sevilla will win the Europa League title because they have done it more than anyone else, but for me the mentality and the quality of the players are the most likely to tell who the best candidate is.
Sevilla has been getting better in terms of performance lately. They are out of the threat of the La Liga relegation zone because their form is improving, that is one of the reasons why I expect Sevilla to beat Juventus. But anyway, Juventus is also a good team to hope for in the final. Juventus have had their points deducted canceled in Serie A, so that will be the motivating thing for them to have a satisfying ending as well.
To be honest, that tie is difficult to predict. Sevilla have really improved. They play with more confidence now. With they momentum they have now, it will be a big mistake to write them off when talking about the Europa league. Then there is the fact that the Europa league is like a birthright to them. lol. Juventus on the other hand is a very good team that would want to have at least a piece of silverware this season. The Europa league is their only chance of winning a trophy, and they really want to. They want this trophy as much as anyone else. Juventus got everything it takes to win the competition so I think we will see how thigs play out, and it would be very interesting.

Arsenal needs to improve their match quality and tighten up their defense for the match. I don't know why at this point of time is when Arsenal is having challenges of winning their matches. They are almost there, and I think Areta needs to talk to his boys for consistency in their games,if they want the trophy.
Manchester city is a big rival to Arsenal and it will be a tough match between these two clubs. If only Arsenal can draw the game, instead of losing it,then I will say that there is still hope for the gunners. If they allow Manchester city to win them I don't think there will be any miracle that will make Arsenal win the trophy. Manchester city will be on their best performance on that day because the match is very important for them to win.
I've been rooting for Arsenal since but at this point I think they have fumbled the league however the outcome of their match against Man City. I said this because even if Somehow Arsenal manages to win Man City, they no longer look like a team that can win the remaining matches of the season. Man City have two matches Outstanding. Arsenal are above them with five points at the moment, if Man City wins those two matches, Arsenal will be topping with just two points ahead of Man City (that's assuming they win Man City). Williams Saliba has been a very big blow for Arsenal. They would not be conceding all these goals if Saliba was on the pitch.

I expected both teams to score and bet on it as well. This can really be one of the most boring matches of the week. I believed in it to be competitive with many goals but there was barely one goal at the end. It wasn't even near the quality of their previous match against each other in the league.
Yea I also saw it as a game that will produce goals from both teams. Usually, in the Serie A when two top teams meet there's always a lot of goals. Both Juventus and Napoli are teams that can score goals so I find it a bit surprising that there was only a single goal in the whole match. The return of Osimhen was another confidence buster for me I didn't bet on the game because I honestly wasn't sure on what to bet on. It was difficult to predict who the winner would be, so both teams to score was a very good option. Sorry it didn't go that way.

A quite interesting match was presented in Barcelona's big match against Atletico in today's match. Both teams actually showed some pretty good results with the few chances they had but in this case Barcelona were slightly better with Ferran Torres' goal. To be honest, in terms of the condition of the two, it was a bit of a hassle in terms of finishing, but on the other hand, I was quite entertained in today's match.
3 points back for Barcelona after they only picked up 1 point in the last few games.
Barcelona were lucky they played Atletico at a point where two of their injured midfielders just returned. Frenkie was once more exceptional for Barcelona and when it seems like Atletico were taking over the midfield, Xavi introduced Pedri and played with four midfielders. Barcelona would not have been able to win todays match with Roberto and Kessie in midfield if were being honest. Villarreal had a much bigger xG in this match honestly but still Sevilla defeated them by 2-1 at the end. I was like that was it and the final score was going to be 1-1. But En Nesyri literally saved his team in the final moments of the stoppage time by scoring the winner. That was a really dramatic moment for Sevilla of course and they won against a much better team this season at the same time.
Sevilla weren't even close to balancing ball possession rates in any half. But they still had many goal attempts. It was like they changed the goal attempt statistics in the second half as there were big similarities. Anyway this win carried Sevilla to a safer position in the standings and they must be relieved more now.
Their performance in the Europa League new must have been very influential about this improvement too.
I knew Sevilla would get better when they somehow drew Man United in the first leg of the Europa league. I didn't expect them to be the better team in terms of possession. Villareal is clearly a better team than Sevilla currency so its only normal that they have most of the ball. Sevilla played well today, all things considered. They managed to take the lead in the first half and take the lead a second time in the added minutes of the game. This win takes them to 12th position. Considering how low on the table they were at a certain point this season, this is pretty impressive.

Bayern Munich's got a mountain to climb if they wanna clinch the league, especially with Borussia Dortmund packin' a punch. They're reigning supreme at numero uno, and that ain't no small feat! But don't count out the mighty Bayern just yet. They may have taken an L to Mainz, but they've still got ample opportunities to turn the tide.
Strap in, y'all; this electrifying race to glory is gonna be one for the ages! The title pursuit going down to the wire? That's a rollercoaster of emotions! Eagerly awaiting the grand finale, let the best warriors emerge victorious!
This is what I've been praying for all season. I really need Dortmund to win the league. But I must be honest I don't trust Dortmund at all. They are not reliable at all. All they have to do to be champions is win the remaining five games of the Bundesliga season and the title is theirs If not for the slip ups of Dortmund in recent time, they would have been at a comfortable place at the top right now, but right now if they want to be Bundesliga champions they will have to do it the hard way. I'm rooting for Dortmund anyway, I hope they can do it.

After watching this horrendous match for Tottenham I don't give them any chance to finish the season in top four. That performance especially in the first 20 minutes of the match was terrible I mean.
This is actually not new from Tottenham, inconsistency is their last name, its only surprising because the thrashing is coming from Newcastle. I have never had faith in them to make it to the top 4. They had a chance when Newcastle were struggling a bit after the world cup but right now with the form Newcastle is in, Tottenham ain't making it to the top 44. I just feel sorry for Kane. I feel sorry for him and I blame it at the same time. He's such an elite striker but he has nothing to his name in form of a trophy. He won't win anything in a team like Spurs. He should just leave.

in terms of performance I admit that maybe Man City is better than Milan but in terms of experience, I think Milan will be superior. what is certain in the champions league is a strong team that has a very great performance and Man City vs Real Madrid will later be a very interesting match and my prediction is that Real Madrid will still hold the champions league title.
I don't understand how you mean when you say Milan has more experience than Man City. Man City have were in the champions league final 2 years ago, they were in the semi final last year while Milan are relative new to the champions league after not playing in it for a long time. In terms of performance Man City are better and they are also better when it comes to experience too. Pep also has more experience than Stefano Pioli.

Agreed and because of that, it looks like The Emirates FA Cup this season may be certain that Manchester City will win the title. Because after all, playing in the semifinals against Sheffield United is not an obstacle for Manchester City to win, because with the Manchester City squad with Haaland, it will be easier for Manchester City to score goals.
Also, this season's final match looks like it will bring together Manchester United and Manchester City but again and again, it seems like Pep Guardiola is more ambitious to win. Even though Erik ten Hag also has high ambitions to win the title, but I believe Pep Guardiola has a better strategy to give Manchester City a title of The Emirates FA Cup on this occasion.
Manchester United have to win Brighton first before we can talk about the Manchester derby final. With the current state of Man United, Brighton are not going to be push overs the way Sheffield United was for City. I am even tempted to bet against United in tomorrows game. Either way, I think Manchester City will be the winners of the FA cup regardless of who qualifies between Brighton and Man United. Neither of them will be able to stop Man City in the form that they are in and nobody yet can stop Halland from scoring goals.

Barcelona and Roberto Firmino have had a verbal agreement. Firmino has agreed to join Barcelona for free at the end of his current contract at Liverpool. His contract ends this July. Klopp would have likes Firmino to remain at Liverpool but Firmino is hell bent on moving on to another club.
Personally, I don't think this is good decision from Barcelona. There is no point having a 31 year old as the back up striker of a 34 year old. Firmino is in decline currently. Barcelona needs a young and promising striker to be the back up for Lewandoski not a declining striker.

It seems that the spots from two to four are still open and there are three teams able to compete for them and they are marseille lens and monaco and today two of them will face each other and lens vs monaco should be the highlight of this round lens has the home advantage and i like their performance better this season compared to monaco i pick them to win the game but i won't be surprised if they lose either that's how good monaco team sometimes is.
Lens is currently winning and that puts them on 2nd position for now. Lens have been good this season so I don't find it surprising that they are 2nd on the table, although Marseille have not played yet. Marseille will play Lyon tomorrow and that can be a pretty difficult match for both teams. Lyon is struggling to make it to the Europa league while Marseille is fighting to maintain their second position. No matter the outcome of tomorrows match, I still think Lens will finish the table on 2nd while Marseille and Monaco will finish at 3rd and 4th respectively.

Espanyol haven't been able to win the last 7 matches and even this draw was the final result in Espanyol's match against Cadiz. no doubt this makes espanyol still in the relegation zone this week. I think Espanyol's chances of getting out of the relegation zone will be quite difficult for them to do if their game doesn't change in the upcoming matches.
even for valencia they can shift Espanyol ranking if valencia is able to win the match against Elche. valencia must be able to win again so they can get out of the relegation zone because this season only leaves 8 more matches which makes time even smaller if they waste opportunities in every match to come.
It's going to be a real battle between Valencia, Espanyol, Almeria. Even Getafe and Cadiz are not safe yet. At this point I can't even pick teams that will be relegated and teams that will survive because they all in a bad form. Only Elche seems to be the known team that will get relegated. Even Valencia just keeps losing. If Valencia and Espanyol can sit up then they will survive but with their recent form its looking very unlikely that they will be able to turn things around. I won't even be surprised if if Valencia wont don't win Elche tomorrow

I know most people will favor certain Sport, because they know more about the players or the teams and information is power, when it comes to betting... but some Sport are 50/50 when it comes to the outcome of the match.
All sports are 50/50. In every sports the underdog wins sometimes that is why its a gamble. There's a reason casinos don't have wrestling on their site. I prefer better on football because it it the sport I am most familiar with. I know so much about football, its rules, players, teams. I follow it up so I know what teams and what players are in a good form or bad form at the moment. Despite me knowing so much about football its still really difficult to win a bet, talk more about a sport I don't know that well. I also bet on basketball and Tennis, but I don't follow them up as I follow football.
