~snip Valencia suffered already 4th loss in a row and now they're in relegation zone. In the beginning of game Mestalla stadium was half empty, fans went to their seats only after 20 minutes as they made protest against club owner Lim.
if we don't change Voro, Segunda it is he managed team at the end of 2020, 2021, and several times earlier as interim, but never for more than few matches, now it is planned to finish season, and doesn't look good at all and debts are mounting, just hoping that there is enough teams that are on even lower point (Cadiz, Almeria and Girona being prime candidates), Getafe and Elche are already below

~snip
Yeah, I'm on more than 20 points, and that's because I forgot all about transferring out Almiron (10 points) and my insistence to hold on to Toney one last game (9 points) haha.
it is good to miss the deadline, I benched Almiron, and he scored, it is what it is and I transferred Shaw out for Akanji, Pep is probably smiling from his position at me (didn't think it through, planned to bench Shaw and transfer one player from my bench, but eventually did it a stupid way, didn't affect this round, but will future rounds) so far, my biggest mistake was in first round, when I put all most inexpensive players on my bench, to secure better first team, but figured out during season that bench is also important, and all 15 players should be starters from first round, it increase team value with time, and doesn't cost much in beginning

It worked today but I am thinking first top club in CL will again end City path to that most coveted trophy.
agree here, but also have to define a top European club what seemed to be great CL season is vaporing, and I am not sure who can be called Top, so that is a City chance after all Barca is playing great, but competing in EL, Real is not so great, Bayern as well, Liverpool, Chelsea not to be commented, there is Napoli left as team in form atm

in hindsight it is interesting that almost none got points today, and there were two home wins, a bit unexpected wins, but not miracles Koeln and Hertha were both below 3 at home, which is kind a matches that could go on any side, but almost nobody took them to win I had few good rounds, but now it is all sliding down in line with my time spent on following Bundesliga congrats to Harkorede, for a good round and securing the top

So I see most of us got to underestimate Cadiz yesterday, is it time to underestimate Sevilla also? Odds are as usual with them today so it seems like nothing changes regarding general estimation of them but Valencia on the other hand are almost same odds to win as Athletic, so I guess this is where form can influence odds.
Where are your bets on today @casperBGD?
Sevilla won as expected, didn't see this one earlier regarding Valencia, we officially entered relegation zone, team is on a really low level, and nothing good to be expected against Bilbao, match can go in either direction, but there should not be goals, one as decider, or goalless draw, at least I see it that way, and it started as that, playing in the middle

That is how you lose a Championship
Exactly, that's why I never believe in Arsenal teams. ~snip as I already said last week, it is kind obvious at the moment, that Arsenal is NGMI is that just statistics aligned (never win after leading EPL in round 19), or their team not experienced enough, or Arteta do not know how to motivate them during mid-season, but they will bleed points after points, and City will go into winning strike, happened few times with United two decades ago would like to jinx them, and they eventually succeed, but kind do not believe in them

-snip Wolfsburg should be confident of getting the win here.
it's Bundesliga Friday again pitty to see Schalke towards back to relegation, and they are basically doing that, no matter last night point but, didn't bet on Wolfsburg, expected goals and they didn't show, goalless draw was as far from my thinking, as it could be will be better today

Speaking of sports fanatics, is there any particular event you guys are looking forward to? I actually made some serious plans to watch the SEA games in Cambodia this year, but we couldn't arrange things for the family in time (there's a local village athlete to see).
~snip
I have failed to take my kid to Hungaroring last season, and this season is almost a must, but there is a shortage of tickets already, hopefully I will get one for that, it is in summer, and crossing border by car (Serbia/Hungary) in those times is taking 4-6 hours at least by direction, but should be a good fun speaking of that, is there anyone interested to organize F1 pool, saw that Superbru already included it in competition

Good round for Serbian teams. Crvena Zvezda won against Maccabi, though, they almost choked in the end, after wasting solid lead. Wade Baldwin, who had career night with 38 points almost made buzzer beater from the middle of court which would lead to overtime that was close. Partizan won against Bayern confident, Virtus had no chance against Barcelona. Interesting game between Zalgiris and Baskonia. Bookies have no favorite there, giving 1.90 for both team wins. Efes - Real and Fenerbahche - Olimpia games postponed after terrible disaster in Turkey.
for Partizan, this is fourth win in a row, and ninth in last eleven rounds - from 4/9 to 13/11 and position 6 at the moment from impossible through possible to realistic fight for Top8 place, in last ten rounds Partizan and Olympiacos are only teams with 8 wins watching Zalgiris and Baskonia tonight, Valencia is facing Panatinaikos in a 6-8 place fight for Top8 Baskonia is in bad form and bad on away matches, Zalgiris is in bad strike, but @1.9 could be a good pick

~snip What Do you guys think of the guy Mitoma ? The killer bean from Brighton.
he could be a good choice, but since they have Blank week in two weeks, with some other teams that I have picks from, I am not thinking about him at the moment I already have trio from Arsenal, since restart, and they were solid, but far from great, now is their chance to shine who to pick from City defense is a question now, Akanji or Ake, one will leave at HT with Villa, but only boldy knows answers on that question (not counting on CS with Arsenal)

Fear of relegation haha, yeah, I know very well that fear -- in the case of my local club, throughout my lifetime, all the way to the painful end where we actually just got dissolved. ~snip
yeah, within 3rd division you don't have that fear, you are having the joy of playing in lowest division with no relegation (called Beton league in my country) just looked through participants list, expected more people to join so far, lower number than on WC competition there is still time to join dough, and three division should be filled in the end, hopefully ~snip I guess that if someone from Division 2 doesn't want to pay the fee, he will stay in Division 2 and his opponent will stay in Division 1. At least that sounds logical to me... Or is it?
why would someone compete in D2, and refuse to pay D1 fee when promoted? for me it is hard to imagine that

I am saving my chip for last rounds, it could be helpful if position is tight
Problem is you can't use multiple chips on same GW. learning day-by-day, it would be helpful for me to read the rules, but it is going solid so far without that so basically, I can't use Free Hit and 3C in same game-week? City and Arsenal have home fixtures and derby, should be good to have 4-5 players from both teams in the team, maybe even 6 players total

All my picks in early too. Going to be really busy and I might forget. Some tight fixtures so I actually went for draw but only on the Friday opener.
Also, not really related but it completely flew over me that Club World Cup is playing and Al Hilal just knocked out Flamengo (wow)... first final for the Asian Champs (poor Ronaldo isn't even there) and their prize is Real Madrid tonight. Didn't even know until I saw the news. Happily put one against Real but only for winner results (suspect a draw to pens is happening).
you probably missed difference bu Al Hilal is yet to play Madrid, and last night Al Ahly lost to Real I am not following much, but saw memes about Ronaldo crying for not joining Al Hilal instead of Al Nassr, since they got two penalties against Flamengo, and knock them out on that (didn't watch, so not sure were does penalties realistic or not) another one against Bilbao for Valencia, not sure where it is going to go, but we could end up in relegation zone after this round

~snip Very very poor performance from United indeed. Also , it was such a long time ago since Leeds had a positive result with United but last night it should have been a W for Leeds , despite the fact that United had a decent game in 2nd half.
pure statistics, it is hard to beat one team twice in few days, so United could win last night, and draw in Leeds on weekend, or do the opposite, draw last night and win during weekend, which brings better odds for betting onwards, Chelsea is playing first match on Saturday, and they didn't conceived goal in last three fixtures, although last two finished as goalless draws, could we at least say that they fixed their defense now, and should work on attack

Rashford triple captain was one of the easiest decisions this season, it is really hard to find player in form with great double game week that is nailed enough to play both full games.
congrats on that, it seemed so, I had only captaincy, but do not want to complain, could be better week, but it is good enough ~snip Another double game week come up again, this time for Arsenal and Man City, it still doesn't feel like the perfect game week for my triple captain chip, especially with how awful Man City have been, I might just save for the second upcoming double game week with Arsenal up against Everton and Leicester City teams that actually concede better number of goals.
Arsenal has one more, and that one seems with easier fixtures, Everton and Leicester but overall, it is hard to pick one player to shine from Arsenal, Rashford was easier choice for past gameweek I am saving my chip for last rounds, it could be helpful if position is tight

|
-snip But in the other hand i understand you in your idea of pick Salah for the next week, its because you know this have to stop sometime and you want to catch that with perfect timing, but its really difficult to make.
first match is with us, Merseyside derby, and Salah is best scorer in those matches from all active players in both teams but, Dyche made Everton better, and with Liverpool playing as with Wolves, everything can happen looking at odds @1.5 on Liverpool is no value, will be interesting to see where it will be on Monday, Everton is currently @6

~snip Regarding us playing - if the spots won't be filled, maybe we'll start from the 3rd division and see how the community feels about it. If we do plan to participate, we will make a survey asking for your opinions.
I don't want to overthinking it, but starting from 3rd division is the way that should not be subject to any complains, and if you think you deserve to get into top division, you will in six months (two seasons) if everything goes well anyway, I don't have anything against you two playing with all others, not sure if there is a slight advantage since you are choosing questions, so there is an edge to familiarity to sports that will be added, but I don't see that as big advantage, guessing outcomes is never easy and requires some luck as well being placed in 1st division brings with it "fear from relegation" , so everyone should think before wishing it

~snip Give them astronomical penalty and drop them as much points or leagues somebody deems necessary.
bit off-topic here, but I would not strip past titles as well, but send them into lower rank competition anyway, it ain't gonna happen, so just theory yeah, Juventus played above expectations yesterday, interesting fact all 3 goals scored players from Serbia, Vlahovic and Kostic
