So many people will get burned, it is really sad Sad

Will you be among them?   Undecided

No, I have decided to evaluate AFTER the project is released. I expect the price to be about 50% lower then.
1582  Economy / Services / Re: Such Wow Escrow FREE!! on: July 23, 2014, 07:09:38 PM
I know Smiley

I expected you to say this Cheesy

I was just hoping someone would trust enough to do some smaller trades with me for starters Smiley

The way it usually works it the following: You start trading and earning trust, then when people start trusting you, THEN only you start offering something like that service.

Use a site like vircurrex and use the paysafecards there. Please... too much scam going on here.

Desaster in the making. 5000 BTC investing in under 24hours and 43 days to go. The 50000 BTC are likely to be broken in the timeframe and even 75k-100k seems possible. You guys know that devs then get 7500-15000 BTC in ethereum + the BTC itself. Also a yearly inflation that is enourmous at 50000 BTC raised....

So many people will get burned, it is really sad Sad

"putzig" .... Wenn man nur 5 posts seiner post-history liest sollte man alleine deswegen schon ned mit ihm traden, auch wenn er "legit" sein sollte..
1587  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Anyone know a game script for earning btc or other coins? No casion,or gambling on: July 23, 2014, 06:41:13 PM
Search for motocoin. You need to play the game to mine coins!
1588  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: At what point (hash) is solo mining viable? on: July 23, 2014, 06:39:58 PM
With bitcoin difficulties exponentially growth, if you don't hit a block within a few months, the chance to hit one in the years after those window is non-existent. So pools do provide a very valuable service, they decrease the variance and therefore increase the expected value (due to rising difficulty). Without exponential growth solo mining would always be the best expected value, but that is not the case with bitcoin.
1589  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How many of you have 24/7 Bitcoin Nodes? on: July 23, 2014, 06:35:52 PM
I do on a VPS with 8 gb ram. It is a nice thing to do for bitcoin, that has given so much to us!
1590  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Neteller to BTC to US bank account? on: July 23, 2014, 06:34:56 PM
Neteller doesn't really allow BTC transfer related transactions. Why don't you just search for someone to do a Neteller<>USbank trade?
1591  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [OFFICIAL]Bitfinex.com first Bitcoin P2P lending platform for leverage trading on: July 23, 2014, 06:33:36 PM
Hello guys, i have just one question. I have a loan stuck in the swap section. I tried to borrow money to close the swap but i have no sufficient funds. How can i close the swap earlier?

You lent some funds?

Then there is no other way than waiting for it to expire, or the guy that took it to close it.

thanks. I do not understand why i can't borrow funds. The borrowing would be backed by the loan..

That is not how it works. Borrowed funds can only be used to do margin trading. Lent funds are locked away and do not count as account balance!

1595  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: SELLING $800 PAYPAL for $720 BITCOIN via INVOICE. on: July 22, 2014, 10:14:03 PM
Serously?

Why do people keep playing dumb like they don't know that paypal isn't final?

You can just chargeback and you will NOT have any implications because of that. To no chargeback on you side (given that you have 0 rep) would be dumb. That is why nearly all newbs with PP do chargeback..
1596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: eXo trading thread on: July 22, 2014, 10:12:33 PM
I will sell my 0.25 BTC 1st round eXo stake for 1 BTC. This is x4 which is a bargain.

I promise to send you the eXo as soon as I receive them - I believe I have the trust/feedback required for someone to agree to this.

contact renat0 he still wants to buy eXo
Thank you very much but I'm not interested in buying exo above 1250 btc market cap anymore.

I understand, the situation has changed quite a bit! Sorry for suggesting that!

could the dev or some escrow open a exo token nxt AE? I will pay the 1k NXT for it, if it helps.

Who guarantees, that the eXo will be paid then?
1597  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Make $7000 A Week on: July 22, 2014, 08:26:38 PM
There is a big risk when trading with IBC company and 700000 its a big amount.. i dont think that there is anybody who use so much money for trading BTC between exchanges there are a better trading and investing oportunities for 700000...

The outstanding swap on bitfinex is around 30M right now.

Can't believe there are that many people that put so much trust with the exchange.
There is likely a lot more on deposits on other bigger exchanges like btce

This is not deposits total. This is just the active swaps! The deposits are likely in the 100+M range.
1598  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [OFFICIAL]Bitfinex.com first Bitcoin P2P lending platform for leverage trading on: July 22, 2014, 08:25:57 PM
Actually the 30 day FRR offers get taken very fast. The 2 M are very short FRR offers that are there for a couple of days.

Are you sure?
I am watching this

for some time now, and it is stuck with "FRR volume: 0" for ages.
Also, there are 30 day offers at FRR available.
But then I only have a look now and then, maybe coincidence.

Still, that view is impressive.. That's what I would call a "wall"! :-)

Ente

What I mean with "very fast" is once the volume spikes on a given day the offers are always taken first and normally you don't have to wait more than 1 hour on average. Yes, some days are very "slow" but everything over 15 day FRR is taken quite often. Lower than that can stay idle for days!

The wall is epic, but I am not sure the 2 M USD are really "in the market" because I can't imagine a guy that rather has his funds sit idle for days to weeks than just going down a bit with his offer or increasing the lend time.
1599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Qora | Released 16 May | 100% POS | New Source on: July 22, 2014, 08:00:07 PM
I am not 100% sure about the dates, but in january they released the full code with 3 traps, but the traps where also in the release code, so it was 100% opensource already.

But that all doesn't really matter, QORA doesn't need to follow NXT, it is a unique project. Just know that lots of people would feel much better knowing the code was peer reviewed before putting significant amounts of money into this project.

1600  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Qora | Released 16 May | 100% POS | New Source on: July 22, 2014, 07:16:23 PM
No one said you cant like both I just said I didn't like NXT.  Do we have to like using everything?

But almost no Qora supporters are against NXT its just NXT user were the one who often stated that Qora didnt add to the already innovative NXT.
My point was dig a bit deeper then that idea is a little flawed.

Problem is no one wants to address that cause unfortunately most involved in Qora actually would prefer NXT to succeed than Qora. Most here are NXT'ers first and Qora fans second. Its hard to get any real strong support of Qora.

I am a NXTer and QORA holder. My main problem is that qora is still closed source. People I trust looked at NXT and said that the code was pretty much bulletproof, a thing I can't say for QORA.

Not that I dislike QORA because of that, but I wouldn't call QORA innovative when all we know the code could be completely broken on logical levels..

Just a few comments.

Am I correct in saying that NXT has not always been open source. My understanding is that it's been in and out of open/close source while specific features are being developed. Personally I have no problem with Qora being closed source at this point, or any coin remaining closed source for certain periods of time. There are already wolves at the gate, waiting to pounce on the code! It's just smart to stay closed until the coin is at a certain stage of development and has gained some market share.

Arbitrary Transactions is now available. The API has been released. This would be a great time for some developers to start creating their own projects using Qora.  Could community funds be used for bounty projects, or for paid Qora development?  Not talking about core development, but projects built on top of Qora. Perhaps a competition or hackathon for Qora projects could be promoted. That would kill two birds with one stone, increased visibility, plus new features for Qora!

We need to alleviate some of the uncertainty for developers who are on the fence about involving themselves with this coin. Nobody wants to invest a ton of time into something that could fall flat on it's face. Paying developers, rewarding with bounties, or competition winnings at least give devs something for their efforts in the short term. If they are not comfortable with Qora they can sell them for BTC and walk away, or they can continue on with Qora. There is no reason for Qora not to have solid developers working in the community.

Qora, the developer, allows for community voting on core features. Likewise, the marketing committee should begin taking suggestions for projects built on top of Qora, put those suggestions to a vote, and allocate community funds to pay a developer to build them.

Any thoughts on this?

Regards,
spaw

NXT was closed source for the first 2 months and then in january released ALL code. From then on, all releases (even beta releases) were open source.

I am not saying that qora needs to do the same thing, but atleast release the source for OLDER versions. Like the last 5 releases can stay closed source, but open up all the others. Understand?
