I was under the impression that forums are meant to share information and opinions on topics which will ultimately benefit the community as a whole. You're like one one of those fanbois who try to bash a legitimate negative movie review by asking "why did you watch it if it was so bad?" Well if that's true, then when are you gonna say something that benefits the community? All I've seen you do so far is put the coin down and ask stupid questions that have already been answered lol I don't see how "1% Premine for Development, Future Projects, Maintenance and Distribution to Community" answers anything. Anyone can make a new coin and say that. How does saying it justify the premine? Every new coin that launches, you children come in and yell scam. While this may be a great business tactic for some, in the end it only damages everyone's credibility. Smarten up and don't feed fuel to the fire.
I would think that the existence of hundreds of coins when less than 20 are actually used by trusted merchants is what is damaging the credibility of cryptocoins and cryptocoin developers in general. And don't try listing gambling sites since those are just ways of getting more of the same coins to dump onto exchanges. Why do you have to know EVERY little detail of what the premine is used for? At most, it's like 7.5mil coins. Even if they didn't use it for what they said they were wanting to and just kept it to dump, there's gonna be 150mil coins distributed between the community. I don't think it would put much of a dent in anything really, especially since there's an enticement to hold onto your coins to try and get the other 80% of the total coins lol Pay no attention to that troll relnarien ... If you go look at all of his posts on other threads it's all the same shit. He/she has nothing positive to give to the community so don't bother feeding the troll. I totally disagree, I want to see everything have its shot. All this hate over altcoins, who gives a shit? There is demand on all fronts for every new get rich quick scheme and every attempt at something new.
I used to be afraid that Alts would delude the market and make all of crypto weaker. Oh how I was wrong. Alt's are where it is at! The world is hungry for this. Mathematically secured commodities are the next publicly traded companies. Its already happening, Despite the crisis of the minute. All boats are rising.
Can we pull everyone together here and normalize on one fork?
I completely agree because without altcoins I sure wouldn't be here today. Because let's face it without them the only way one could get bitcoins would be to either buy very expensive hardware or buy bitcoins outright. Neither of which option I had the money to do or would I even be willing to do. Without a community bitcoin would fail. So be thankful for all these so called shitcoins! |

I like the fundamentals behind this coin. I like the instant re-targets and 30 second blocks, I think it is aggressive and aside from constant forking due to huge hashers jumping on and off the coin cannot stay stable it would seem.
I like the PoS mining system that is in place here.
This is crypto, I don't care of this is little more than a tweaked blackcoin, It brings a little something different to the table. I think this coin/concept could play out well.

yea please, before everyone jumpes off and the coin is worthless... I don't know how you would even begin to fix it. I've done multiple wallet resynchs, and it seems to be pure dumb luck which nodes you hit as to whether you see payments from the two biggest pools. Payments from XHash have already gone missing because they've been on their own chain since yesterday. On the other hand it's not even clear if all of the other pools are on the same (different) chain either. If the dev had bothered to try to get everyone on the same fork and add more/better nodes earlier, or even encourage the pools to add each other as nodes, then a rescue might have been possible, but it's transparently clear now that he lacks the skills and dedication to do so. Given how many coins are / were being generated per day, not even the entire pre-mine would compensate the pools and miners. That's assuming you could get them to agree to (and stay on) the same chain in the first place. Chalk it up to experience and move on IMHO. Well I hate to say it but I agree with this guy I think it's time to chalk it up and move On |

Yeah I'm calling it quits on this shit. I'll be keeping an eye on the thread and hopefully the dev can get it fixed if not oh well I guess I'm just out some hours of mining. None the less good luck to the dev and hopefully he can get it worked out and I can come back!!

This coin makes no sense to me. People buy it and resell it to the dev. This means the dev can always resell his coin. It benefits nobody since once an advertiser buys space the coins are now in the devs possession and the advertiser can not resell. This is very far from decentralized. Almost invested in it until I realized this. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Well this is in OP What happens to PXLs sent to the website to purchase pixel space? As of now we are focused on maintaining the coin and website. Currently we don't plan on selling any coins. However this may change in the future and will depend on many factors, such as how many coins are available and what the demand is for advertising space on the site. Most coins are not backed by anything. PXL Coin is backed by advertising and a team of developers who work hard to make that advertising happen. Once we have a more official policy, we will announce it. Tripmode, you might have answered this before but this has been a major concern for most of the poeple buying PXL coin. Will you maintain a public ledger. Can you clarify your stance on this as this is the most important unanswered question which may make or break this coin +1 I had high hopes for this coin and all of a sudden it just came to an abrupt halt. I'm just wondering if there's anything in the works behind closed doors? Or is the coin just being left to die? |
