Last I checked up on SuperNET, the MGW has a history of being very squeaky and has to be "force fed" every few days when requests get stuck server-side. Have you guys improved the current implementation of MGW for launch? If so, what have you done to improve the current problems? How many servers will be used initially for the MGW?

I think you are asking in wrong thread vanbreuk (sprnt) BOT [9:00 PM] [9:01] Multigateway (or an equivalent development over Waves) would require coding work to be adapted for Waves, it's not a matter of server configuration only since the Nxt API is deeply ingrained in it. But of course a Waves MGW is an interesting idea to consider. |

Please tell me that all BTC invested during the ICO will be escrowed and if something goes off kilter during the ICO, will BTC will be returned?

I've done some reading. I'm intrigued on the idea of a decentralized efficient trading platform that works with, rather than against, fiat currencies. I want to invest in the potential success of this. However, I'm still at a loss for attempting to model in my mind, and makes some speculative volume guesses, and understand exactly how the tokens of value we buy at ICO, how they make this system work, in which ways they are used. Are trades paid for and executed in a decentralized way incentivised by the trader spending the tokens to complete a trade, the miner confirming execution of the trade and earning? What else, voting? Please help me understand this better.

Hi. Thank you for the explanation. How would I begin to model what that is like. What I mean specifically, is how do I grasp how much each type of 'everything done on Waves' costs? Ethereum, I believe this is set by miners, through competition, market driven. On Lisk, I believe the prices are set by the Dapp (which concerns me btw). How do I begin to grasp whether making a trade or fiat transfer or the many things that Waves can do, how do I make somewhat of a guess at whether this costs me .00001 Wave Tokens or .001 Waves Tokens?

@leandro We are just the opposite to ETH probably. What they do is develop Bitcoin scripting, do everything using contracts, it's very fundamental but makes certain things very complicated. We took another road, where things are simpler, very easy to add all functionality you need using plug-ins, don't have to code complicated contracts. Also our focus is on mass adoption, we're specifically target two markets : fiat transfers on blockchain and crowdfunding on blockchain. They are very ripe for disruption, and we'll be offering a product for a very general audience, basically the main end-user client is just a plugin you can install from Chrome or FF store

how much one can earn with the signature?

As an investor I'd feel scammed if I invested in Waves and here is why. On the just released blog message you wrote; "What about blokchain tokens of our own? Do we want WAVES to be the value transfer token? NO: for that we have Bitcoin. Money transfer is the first killer app of blockchain technology. It won’t be the last, but still it will dominate blockchain tech for years to come. But one thing is obvious here, ONE (or a few) cryptocurrencies should be used as a currency, otherwise the network effect which is needed for something to be used as a currency will never be realised. We’ll be doing our bit to help Bitcoin become the first INTERnational currency (as opposed to NATIONAL currencies). We will support other "money" crypto besides Bitcoin too ( DASH, Litecoin and Dogecoin seem to be a good choice now), but obviously Bitcoin transfers will dominate (at least in near future) What can we do for Bitcoin - we enable decentralized trading against bitcoin. so it's like decentralized bittrex! So I can't pay fees, issue assets or transfer assets with other crypto currencies or fiat tokens? Can you confirm this? Waves token is the fuel for the whole platform and all operations happening there.
