Ljubljana - Galatasaray is one of the matches I will be wondering the result of. Because despite Galatasaray were the absolute favourite against Zalgiris in the previous stage they still had unexpectedly big difficulties. The main reason was being not ready for new season of course. But after playing two matches they must have been in a better shape now. In addition they are going to have some of their new transfers in this match as well.
But interestingly Galatasaray didn't include Zaha and Zaniolo in their squad for the first leg. As far as I know they will be in the second leg but still it is interesting. But as long as they are fully concentrated on the match there shouldn't be any problem on getting the win.
If Galatasaray does not include these two players, then maybe it is a form of Galatasaray underestimating the opposing team. Because anyway, in the previous match also against Zalgiris that Galatasaray only got a draw in the first leg. Also, Galatasaray both played the first leg in an away match and I think, it would be better for Galatasaray to target a win in the first leg as well. Because if Galatasaray can win in the first leg in the away match, it will certainly make Galatasaray be able to play more calmly in the second leg later when Galatasaray plays in the home match. I hope Okan Buruk doesn't underestimate his opponent. Because I don't trust Galatasaray. Zaha may not be ready but why isn't Zanilo playing? Galatasaray are still not ready for this season yet. This was why they struggled this much against Zalgiris in both legs. The match could have even continued with extra time as Zalgiris also found some significant chances to score. Especially Oyewusi's impressive dribbling all the way from their half to the opponent box was really dangerous. He didn't have good finishing skills and wasted it. It is still nice to see all the Turkish teams in European competitions are maintaining their run.
But especially Galatasaray will need to get ready for their next matchup against NK Olimpija Ljubljana much better than this.

I remember how a lot of people on this thread were fearful for Japan prior to their game against Norway. It's good to see they aced past Norway with ease. I watched the highlights - Beautiful game.
