We all know that Barcelona is experiencing financial problem which forced the team to cancel its intention to bring in top players from other team and is known to make them fail to keep Lionel Messi. Obviously the lack of reliable players make the team's performance very unstable. I think this is the reason why Koeman is complaining. I think any coach would complain if they were in Koeman's place. Another question is that this would not necessarily be reflected in the public plane, as it is happening now. Barcelona has very big problems with finances and even just parting with the coach will cost the club about 12 million. Therefore, it may look like a kind of insurance for Koeman and the club is forced to hope until the last for the situation to be corrected, but given all the events that have taken place, there is not even a hint of this yet and you need to understand that this cannot continue indefinitely. Koeman and Barcelona are kind of hostages of this situation, but it seems that a lot will become clear after the El Classico, because in case of an unsatisfactory result, some measures will need to be taken. |
