1581  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any website without a dispute here? on: January 15, 2022, 07:48:09 AM
I guess I have seen disputes/complain against all the crypto casinos out there. Every day, in the scam accusation section, we have to new accusation thread against casinos. It even includes all the reputed casinos, new casinos. I mean none has an exception.
When all the accusations are not happening due to the mistake or intention of gambling houses, how we can be having negative thoughts on all gambling houses in general? I mean even if you run a casino and you want to be utmost honesty and generous, there should be some people will try to exploit your casino by having multiple accounts or trying to play with bots to break your algorithm then what will you do? Most casinos will close such suspicious accounts but people will start blaming the casino.

When dispute may happen due to the problems of either parties then it is not making any sense to expect a gambling house to remain dispute-free.
1582  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 15, 2022, 04:36:43 AM
The real question is whether they deserve so many chances, at a time when a lot of talented youngsters are waiting for their chances. IMO, they should be asked to prove their mettle in the domestic competitions before even being considered for the national team selection. I don't understand why the selectors are persisting with these two players who are facing mid-life crisis. Giving so many chances to younger players would make sense. But providing them to someone in their mid 30s is illogical.
It seemed total India batting itself not delivered any consistency. After the first test match, India opening pair failed to provide any significant good start. Middle orders hit only one 50+ score out of 6 innings (Kohl- one half century in 4 innings and Pant 1 century in 6 innings). In low order both Ashwin and Sharadul Takur failed to provide any significant contribution. They were deliberately missing Jadeja for lower order batting depth.

In bowling, Mohammed Siraj's injury was a concern in second match and the replacement was expected to be Ishant Sharma but Kohli opted Umesh Yadav but he picked wickets only in first innings. Overal,l India's overseas owes still continues regardless of recent good shows in Australia and England.
1583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it time to enter the market and buy altcoins? on: January 14, 2022, 09:58:09 PM
I doubt it is perfect time, better wait for the more downtrend and many uptrend corrections will lead to buying opportunities. Having a cash or stable coins will let you buy cheaper altcoins, do you can invest in whatever coin you prefer.
Why? Why would you doubt that when the price is so low? I would say that since it is so low, there is a good chance it could actually be the most perfect time to enter the market. It is obvious that we are not going to do a lot better, but it is also obvious that it will take a while. This is why I hope to see something a lot better, it is going to be a challenge, it is not going to skyrocket, we are not going to get 100k by march, but we will definitely see an increase soon enough.

This is why I have invested probably more than I should this month, I may end up taking a small amount of it out, just so I can survive, definitely not a problem at all, I am doing fine, worst case scenario I will use my credit card, I am 100% fine, but that is still a risk that I took, THAT is how much I trust the market and how it will react soon enough.
1584  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Most Popular Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - Watford & UFC Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: January 14, 2022, 09:09:16 PM

Roshtain and Train have Obsidian rank accounts too, his crazy hilo bets made an easy wager to reach this level. Can't imagine his monthly and daily reloads with crazy wager.

Yeah but these guys are sponsored so that's a little bit different. It is always easy to wager a lot of money that is sponsored. MalteseFalcon and aabb are, to my knowledge, not sponsored and are legit high rollers. MalteseFalcon is even highly active on multiple sites.
Sponsors could definitely wager more than regular people because they are getting the money for free, so there is really nothing going wrong for them and they end up winning so much just from the viewers, even if we let alone all the money from the sponsorship as gone. Subscriptions, donations, ad income and all of that comes down to a great profit, so they could gamble and lose it all back to casino and they would still be doing fine.

This is why I try to avoid checking those people out, they do not care about it if they lose, they only care if they could get viewers. However, people like aab123 or maltesefalcon end up using their money to be that high, which is awesome to see.
1585  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is for everyone but not everyone will be for Bitcoin on: January 14, 2022, 06:39:38 AM
The average person must have probably heard of bitcoin or cryptocurrency as an asset class, however the means to start and engage with it is always a problem. Many have been capacitated with knowledge and understands what the game is all about, but they have been stopped by a financial barrier that prevents them from reaching the other end of financial freedom.
I understand that you are trying to emphasize about the difficulties of high value of bitcoin for first time investors. But, we still live in fiat world, we earn and spend in fiat hence you should start considering all your bitcoin related investments only in fiat and not in BTC; for example if you invest some 100 USD into bitcoin then you should calculate profit or losses only in USD and no need to bother about where the bitcoin is trading.

I do see people do the same for stock market as they do consider the price of a stock is highly insignificant because after a split, price of a stock may vary drastically whereas for same investment you might be holding more number of shares. So, where we buy a stock and where we sell is alone important and not the price of a stock. Same could be applied for bitcoin investments as well.
1586  Economy / Economics / Re: Is PayPal plannning to Launch of Own Stablecoin? on: January 13, 2022, 09:55:30 PM
There's no advantages if Paypal launched his own stablecoins except making the company/owner rich. Stablecoins is just a stablecoins where the value always stick with USD and remain close 1:1, while there're many stablecoins exist (even better with the decentralized one). Regarding this news will make adoption, I disagree because Paypal already launch their own market to buy and sell crypto... so ordinary person/people used Paypal should know crypto.
I would guess that they are after literally that. I mean if there is something that they could make money from, then why wouldn't they make money from it? It is definitely a valid point and they could do it just for making billions of dollars. Remember, this is a company and they are only in it for the money, they are not building something to make your life easier just because they are good people, they are doing it so that they could get rich.

So, if they could create a stablecoin, not go to jail or pay a hefty penalty and be legal, and could make billions of dollars along the way, they do not care if it helps anyone or not, they just want to get the money and not be in trouble for it. This is why so many companies are getting into it, why do you think Binance created BUSD, why USDC was created, and to be fair why USDT was created at first as well.
1587  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲 BetFury.io|🎄NY Fest for $400 000|🏎 Win Porsche|💸Rakeback is available on: January 13, 2022, 09:05:31 PM
Currently at 105 % and it will probably drop down a little bit further to around 80 - 90 %.
Yup, those rates sure tank like crazy mere hours after the announcement and now both the previous and current pool are sharing similar rates. Plus having to spend almost 2 dollars just to harvest both compounded + principal tokens then stake them on the new pool, damn :p

You got in?
I believe that there is still a slight bit of room to grow. I mean consider the fact that we are talking about BFG and a casino that still keeps growing, there will always be people picking the dividends and there will always be more money to be made from this as well. Biswap also helps out a lot as well. I am hoping to see 200%+ levels to happen. The BSC network is getting crazy that is for sure, but people still prefer these few dollars stuff because at over ERC20 we are seeing people spending hundreds on moving money around and they are still doing it in billions of dollars volume so it is not a shock to me that BSC grew in gas fee and still can manage fine.
1588  Economy / Economics / Re: 2022 Savings and investment plan on: January 12, 2022, 08:38:43 PM
I didn't do much with my assets at the end of 2021 as I still have all on holding (but in different staking platforms) I didn't feel the need to cash out so I just hold a big part in stablecoins (currently staking for 19.5% apy) and also doing the same to my alts, so far I found it profitable to stake and earn passive income rather than just hold and wait while market recover,  I intend to continue with the same path in 2022, i don't
have the time to engage in trading hence staking is a much better option for me atm, are some good alts with good apy out there that people can take advantage of, in q2,q3 the market may have recover and your accumulated assets would have appreciated even more.
I would say if you have something that you can make passive income AND have the value of it go up, that's even better. This is why I personally do not like stablecoins, I get the staking part though, I had cake for a long time now, made a great profit from the price going up, got in way earlier, the passive income is also nice, made more profit from the price going up obviously but the staking profit wasn't bad neither.

So, I am focusing on increasing more and more and diversify my passive income part of my portfolio. It has been a while since I made an investment recently, but that has been something that I haven't done in a long time so I am feeling like it's fine. So, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the current setup you have, and I am trying to do the same, except only the stablecoin part but that is a personal preference thing and shouldn't matter too much.

Price doesn't determine value, if the underlying purpose is still there then the lower price should increase peoples interest in theory but we have excessive speculation in crypto both positive and negative it can be a feedback loop.   Any negative sentiment can mean any selling in the market feeds into a lower price despite the fact that a lower price for the same utility or purpose of the original token should increase demand.  I think demand is increased slightly because it does allow people to move up the tiers more easily and qualify for better premium bonus, that will still be there but as said the overriding factor in all crypto is this rolling volatility of speculation whether we go up or down, fear vs greed a bi-polar kind of reactive market and we all recognize Bitcoin and all crypto acts like this yet nobody is above it really.
Crypto world has always been a bit more about what people think it should worth and not the fundamentals showing how much it should worth. You could have something that pays you 100 bucks a month, guaranteed 100 bucks a month and it is not a scam and it is promising you that much and 100% no doubt about it, today it could worth a million dollars, tomorrow it could be 1k, and all of that is quite possible in the crypto world.

People react to it based on the hype involved and that is why sometimes the utility and the fundamentals of a coin doesn't matter at all, sometimes it is only about what people talk about and how they react to it. It is true for every single coin out there.
1590  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How often do you change your indicators? on: January 12, 2022, 03:02:59 PM
Frequently switching over to new strategy definitely will not bring you good results; at the same time you should not need to stick with same strategy among many losses but you should always trade with tested strategy; that's all, I mean.
Yeah, there is a fine line between how often you are going to change your indicator and how hardly you stick within only one indicator.

One probable solution must be, having a set of tested indicators and switching only within that list of indicators so that you may not go for new indicator without testing and at the same time you do not need to have same strategy even after losses with that.

Practically I guess that it will not be possible for most readers to have set of tested indicators due to time constraints but after this topic I believe traders will start realizing its importance.
1591  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Trading Bots on: January 10, 2022, 09:31:58 PM
We all know how volatile the crypto market is especially now. I have heard so much about crypto trading bots and their possibilities of automating the trading process and turning folks into crypto millionaires. For some of these bots, the user can program them to buy at predefined low and sell at a predefined high. I’m pretty skeptical about this maybe out of ignorance or just sheer human skepticism for stuff like this. Have you ever used a bot to automate your trading? Do you trust it enough to make the right decisions? If trading bots are as good as they claim, why are folks not using them as much as they should?
I would not say "never" use them, they are still something that you could learn a bit of things from, they are still not that far away from the reality and it is certainly good if you could find a decent bot as well. The main problem that most people forget is that unless you have been using one for a long time and know how to use it then you are not going to even make a profit during the bull period.

If [...] Vettel is really as awful as you’re saying

I don't think he's awful at all, I think he's quite good, and certainly better than some others on the grid. But I do think he's over-rated, and the four titles flatter him, as he's not been able to replicate that form without a supremely dominant car. My use of the word 'awful' was just a way to question whether number of overtakes is necessarily a good measure of ability, a hypothetical example of a driver in a good car who is bad at qualifying.
I would say over half of every championship Hamilton won was with a dominant car as well, is that making him an "awful" driver? Vettel won 4 times in a row, that alone is great, not a lot of people have done it as talked about before, even with a dominant car. Hamilton has 7 championships and 6 of them were with cars so dominating that it was not even close, by your logic Hamilton sucks big time.

Also how could overtaking doesn't say too much? These are the people who are actually world champions and racing very cleverly and they know how to overtake others because newbies are not that great at it, how could you say that in a race sport, overtaking doesn't say much? Alonso is great, Vettel is great as well, Kimi was great too, they just had amazingly horrible cars. Give Vettel and Alonso Mercedes cars next year and I guarantee you, one one of them will be the champions.

you should make customised banners like win a Lamborghini click here to participate, that should get you lots of clicks. Furthermore you can promote their sports betting or win Rolex watches via WoFs, because I don’t expect them to change anything on the site now, but you can can make better click bait banners to attract referrals.
He shouldn't be responsible for paying something like that just to get customers for someone else's business. I mean sure he would make money but there is no guarantee that he would recoup his own investment in something like that, plus he needs to pay on top of that to get some customers there as well.

I would say that it is clear to me freebitco.in should have some more banner options aside from the decade old ones that they are offering. It would be a lot better if they could get like 50 different ones, considering at the very worst case it would take like 100 bucks per banner, that's like 5k, nothing to a huge place like this. Hell 50k is nothing for a place like this but I would understand not wanting to spend that much, so spending like 5k to 10k for a lot more brand new and to be frank better banners would be something they could totally do.
1594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice on what to consider when making an investment ? on: January 10, 2022, 05:23:22 PM
First you should consider whether a coin that you’re gonna invested is having the potential that you expected basically seeing whether it's already near reaching highest value or still have potential and later on you should see the roadmap of the coins and decide whether it’s good for long term investment.
If it's a new coin the first thing to consider is the tokenomic.
Sometimes potential could be reached and be at 100% so it is no longer potential but the price could still go up. Development is very important but it is not the whole thing, bitcoin has been bitcoin for a decade and the only "improvement" was segwit, sure we had some other stuff but that was the biggest one and we did not have any change in bitcoin that we see monthly in some other smaller ones, yet it is still the biggest one and still breaks ATH after ATH, which is a proof that as long as you are good, you do not need to keep improving, coins could go up as it is when the market goes up. So, just find fundamentally great coins and you will profit.
1595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you buying right now? on: January 10, 2022, 12:38:10 PM
Bitcoin has dropped to 41,000 again, and all altcoins are with it. So this is a good opportunity to buy some tokens for a good price right? Share what you bought and why?
I am sorry that I could not get your point here. You are watching altcoins are simultaneously falling along with bitcoin still you are about to invest into them? I believe that there are 50% chances for bitcoin to set a new ATH this year but only 5% chances for any altcoins. So, if you see that bitcoin is falling then it would be a good idea to keep buying bitcoin and not the tokens or other coins.

i bought a couple of fundamental tokebs that showed good growth during the fall of Bitcoin: NEAR, LINK, ATOM
So, you decided about these coins when bitcoin is falling and not considering any other factors for investing? I guess that you are missing all your due diligence which is very dangerous sign that may lead you to lose all your capital.
1596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your altcoin predictions for the new year 2022 on: January 09, 2022, 09:49:38 PM
most investors are already on the look for the next altcoin for profitable interest in 2022 lots of them are now going into metaverse and others rely on NFTs for 2022.
Do not say most investors because I am one of altcoin investor but the coins I have invested, not into profits yet hence I cannot look for a new opportunity as my funds are being locked for years. I am sure this is the situation for many crypto investors in most probable cases.

I never encourage anyone to go for investing with new things. I guess NFT may boom in 2022 but not sure and if you invest then it means that you are gambling. I just invest only into bitcoin if I will be able to arrange more funds. Nothing suddenly changed just because of this new year hence we must always stick with our basics.

It depends on how much the minimum deposit is. I also think that it is more convenient to accept a deposit for everyone, and that there is no minimum deposit amount. You don't see that much on sites. New players often want to deposit a small amount to test the site first. All depend on the amount.
Usually those minimum amounts are mainly due to blockchain being clogged. Which means that you are going to spend some money to send it there, and you are going to cost them something to withdraw as well. Which is why it makes sense that there is a limit in most places, what is the point of depositing 10 bucks, you are going to spend more than that on transaction cost alone, and it will cost them a lot to let you withdraw as well.

This is why many places have a minimum deposit amount, not that it is a bad thing but because it is something that doesn't really make sense financially to let you do something like that. Definitely not a bad manner thing, it is for your own good.

Underdog BAN beating WTC Champions at their own backyard.
Troubled South Africa beating India (Arguably the best travelling team in last 3-4 years).
3 one sided matches but finally English team showing some sort of intent and managed to pull one of the fine escape in the Ashes.
Yeah, this year started differently for test cricket indeed.

It is time for WTC champion to prove themselves and they started the second test in that way. They teared the Bangladesh's bowling attack by scoring at the run rate of around 4. There will be chances for them to square the series with an innings victory.

I read that Kohli to return back to lead India in Cape town and Mohammed Siraj might be replaced by Ishant Sharma. Not sure why India failed to show the batting depth in 2nd match but we can expect them to fight hard as the series is in line.

England may fight hard due to the morale they got from 4th match but Hobart is a fatten pitch hence another draw might be possible.
1599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice on what to consider when making an investment ? on: January 09, 2022, 03:46:26 PM
although I've read a lot and watched countless videos on crypto and how to do your own research, I was wondering what are the most important aspects of a project, and what are the most important factors and things to look for. If you could give me some advice on the resources you guys use that would be really great.
The important factors that you need to consider before investing is really few but unfortunately these days devs are too smart hence they will easily convince you to go investing with them. So, the better option for you must be, avoiding new projects but investing into bitcoin and major coins like BNB and ETH. This way, you may save your time and more importantly you will easily get good profits. Now decide, how many more videos that you need to watch.

I was also wondering if someone could explain to me what is a vesting schedule and what a good token distribution looks like vs a bad one.
There cannot be any definite answer for this because coins with different approaches have succeeded hence these cannot help you to filter out.
1600  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Losses in trading are nothing but Business expenses on: January 09, 2022, 02:45:11 PM
It's very unfortunate to hear some stories that have failed in trading and lost due to greed, I mean they know that it's a gamble to take but they still did it because of the tempting profits if ever if it succeed but sadly it didn't.
Trading will be a gambling if you allow your emotions to take decisions. Moreover, there are lots of factors in trading to push you into losses and not just your emotions; I mean failure of your technical analysis must be your first-ever reason which will lead you into losses. Still, not following the TA by not booking profits due to greedy and then facing losses is also a common event in trading and this kind of events will not let anyone to learn because these traders never get control over their emotions hence their losses keep increasing.

due to unpredictability of the market then it is unavoidable for you to experience such condition this is why you should really be doing your best on lessening the risks as much as you can.
Skip a signal which is not satisfying all your conditions could be one simple solution here to minimize your number of losing trades which means you must need stronger TA along with greater experiences of using those TA.
