1581  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Anyone living with older people? on: January 23, 2023, 10:59:31 PM
See I have this problem, I am living with older people since I lost my parents at a very young age and I get so attached with crypto and I am making money out of it but the problem is my grandfather and uncles do not understand what Bitcoin is all about, believe me, I've tried to explain but they just won't get it. What can I do? They kind of believe that I am wasting my time.

How do one educate the illiterate about digital currency?
I have said it countless times that It's impossible to educate someone that barely doesn't have a knowledge on how to operate simple devices like cellphones or PCs... It's just impossible.
You see, we're lucky to be born in an era where the least child in the household owns an iphone and a PC...it wasn't so in those days.. nobody believed it will, until it started happening this days.
The HODLing, trading, buying and studying process of Bitcoin needs someone with the new-era technological cognitive; it's hard to start instilling these knowledge in them at thier old age.
Bitcoin isn't meant for everyone; just like we've got Alot of peeps in a certain peripherals, but when it's time to vote, few will turn up.

Nobody needs to entice you up with words that could merely be some bunch of exaggerations, you need to hold on to the hope that keeps you thriving and the FATE of Bitcoin as well (cus AFAIK, your hope is built in BTC's FATE).
I still need to remind you that no one seems to be giving out some words of encouragements, cus nobody controls the system... As a beginner, I know it gets hard to believe how you'd have to sit and watch your coins devalue, but you need to learn being bearish too, cus definitely, it'll happen sometime and you'd have to HODL on....
You should build a solid plan and understand that the price increases to decrease someday, and Vice versa.

Some peeps made good use of the contest, while some took great advantage of it; but you seee, from some thorough scrutinization, I discovered that alot that tried to fit-in just for the sake of fishing merits were either shat upon by those grim, stern-looking merit sources Or simply ignored ... It paid 'em off -- for the early ones -- but after the first set made 'em intentions very obvious, the sources took record in anticipation for the next set of losers...lol
I'm afraid Nothing much can be done about this yunno; only that most of them got tagged already.

The good news is that using the secret question caused the account to be locked and the hacker can't use it now.
You should contact the recovery team. The link to the instruction was shared by _BlackStar above.
You will get access to your account if you can prove that you are the owner of that account.
Sorry, I couldn't get that fact correctly....
Do you mean an account can be hacked using the secret questions and the process gets terminated on the way, due to some inaccuracies? If yes, then how's the OP gonna get 'em back after every claims that he's rightfully the owner of the account ??-- (remember, that's after when the hacker had changed the passcode already?)? This is only possible if the forum has access to people's personal data, Which is curruptible in my opinion...or is there an alternative?

By the way, I can't verify the message you signed.
The same thing I was wondering too.

1585  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's a good idea to just register on casino on: January 20, 2023, 07:14:17 PM
There is this thing about shopping and airlines that when you check and forget, they send you bonus or discount for your possible shopping/trip. Same holds true for casinos, if you just register and leave they will send you some bonus to get you started playing.
Yes, it actually happens severally -- but that's just a means to entice you as a rookie yunno.
I don't think every casino run such promotion for Thier site ..maybe for some selected few that actually needs growth in traffic. I'm not really seeing that as a reason why anyone should just jump on the idea of getting registered on a Casino -- cus they'll end up misusing the privilege and going against their Terms and conditions, which happens NOT to be the original purpose why those incentives were created. You should prolly have some passion/skills on that to avoid getting into the same dilemma, as others do.

Chelsea was a hard side for Liverpool to defeat last season, this season with the poor performance so far I don't see any way possible Chelsea can hold Liverpool down. Liverpool are also not a good side so far but they still have the upper hand to outplay Chelsea.
Chelsea so far has made some new signatures to boost the poor performance hoping things will get better with potter. They are both having same points who wins goes above the other, Chelsea wouldn't want to slow down ekse pressure mounts on potter again.
Chelsea is at the 10th position and it's set that they'll have to play against Liverpool on the 9th position which is somewhat a close range on the table ( although Thier ratings are totally different and I'm seeing Liverpool at a great advantage over Chelsea)...
Chelsea's win against crystal palace form Thier last match was a big struggle -- I wouldn't even believe they'll have to struggle that hard for a 1:0 win against crystal palace...I mean, anyone would wanna compare them to their performances last season and the difference will be pretty clear. AFAIK, Graham Potter has done his best for the team -- though he hasn't done better than the previous Coach - Tuchel. I sure hope that Liverpool would gain atleast, a single point from tomorrow's match.

But indeed, regardless of any speculation about the improvements to be made related to the promotion of the Arab League in this match, it is still very entertaining.
4 Stars are very expensive playing at the same time, I think this is really worth watching especially they also look quite serious even though to be honest in this match I stopped watching in the second half after the great players they were replaced because I just wanted to see Ronaldo and Messi and other stars like Neymar and Mbappe played, after they were replaced I stopped watching Cheesy
I really got lost at the same scenario too yunno; when the superstars that had my interest got substituted...
I'm sure that the Saudis have made alot of cash from that particular friendly match... I don't Have a doubt that it would have happened if Ronaldo wasn't at nassr...cus it hasn't before,if at all -- for a long while now. I saw the transformation in the game when Ronaldo got hold of the ball as an equalizer, just few minutes after Messi scored the first goal of the game. The performances were unique from both sides but without Ronaldo in nassr, maybe they'd just go away with 1 or 2 goal to the 5 goals scored by PSG.

Lately I've been wondering if we can find out who ignored us.
Is there any way to find out who ignored us?  Huh
Is it even important at all? Cus, it doesn't add any phycological value to you, or does it? You seee, alot of things that's been made to function in here had been pondered overtime before getting fixed - just the way you see 'em.
You know some peeps are bullies in real life!? Sometimes, they don't like you, not because they've known you personally but, maybe you don't seem to speak in their favor or something else? IDK ... peeps like this would go a long way ignoring you, hoping it hurts you or make you feel disrespected, neglected or taunted.. cus they know you're certainly gonna get a notification or something else to acknowledge that fact that you've been ignored.
BTW, it's an individual choice so I feel whatever anyone does on the Southside, shouldn't affect anyone on the northland --

I just had to look 'em up for myself cus I ain't gonna lie, haven't heard that peeps normally wagered against the contestants just so a winner could emergeat the end; I thought it was predetermined by the US councilman or something....no? Then I've been reading through alot if post (though, bit thoroughly) to see if anyone has a clue, but to no avail... how's the OP even sure that it's possible?
R'Bonney Gabriel had to go home with the title and whatsoever gets awarded to the winner of the contest... She pretty lucky this time around. I sure hope to see someone more explicit...., and could someone please show us to a site that gives an option like that? Much thanks

Best Actor
When talking about the best actor, I just remembered the best actor in 2022, will smith slapping Chris rock at that event. is he in the nomination? Because when I look at him in the trailer for his new movie, Emancipation he looks good and totally plays peter, a slave who almost died because of being whipped and escaping from his life. From what I know, Will Smith being banned for 10 years, but is there no forgiveness? Maybe better to voter watch his new movie before making a decision. I'm sure they will change it.
Haven't heard anything about smith being banned from the Hollywood movies, talk more of getting 'em for that long... Is it serving as a deterrent for his past overreactions on Chris Rock during a minor stage Play? Or did he get involved in some malicious doings we've known nothing about yet? Cus an indigenous actor like himself shouldn't get such as a penalty for his mistakes.... I still remember the legendary role he played in a popular movie, "men in black". ..as I kept watching over and over again' until I caught the Least glimpse that I'd prolly have lost during an involuntary eyeblink or something.... He should be amongst the nominees ofcourse.

Arsenal fans be running the hell outta them mouths, it's a game of football, it's never over until it's finally over
Yeah, they've got prolly enough time to have proven themselves to you already huh? Y'all pegans shouldn't get pained for a winning that's probably profound and that's what it's gonna remain like untill you realize they've gotten much GDs.
I'm actually seeing this premiership for the gunners this time around; though I'm not a fan of them but I think what they've suffered the pains to workout/train hard for is worth claiming -- especially when it hasn't happened for the past 17 years ( if I'm totally correct?)?

Yeahhhh.... That's exactly what I thought...
Because how could a team in league 1 play against nassr -- some lame, incompetitive Arabian league team and expect a big win?? Even with the fact that they had Ronaldo with them as a consolation? Lol... That's far from being possible yunno.
They would've conceived more than just a single goal difference over the 4:5 score points if Neymar didn't miss a penalty and,say -- other Chances that Messi created went through. But in all, it was a nice friendly game to reckon in history as Ronaldo utilized the privilege to score 2 goals for himself.

PSG goes with al nassr tomorrow and it's amuses me to see the so-called Legendary Ronaldo, running away from laliga to England and back to Saudi just to play against Leo Messi again? What a career blunder!!.
It'll be interesting to start with the early kickoff tomorrow just to affirm either the strength of the Arabian team or the french legendary, league 1 team -- PSG.
A post came with pictures how PSG players arrived Saudi today and ofcourse, they're getting much prepared for the game tomorrow. In my opinion -- since it's a friendly match -- I think PSG would go home with more goals....why?? I don't think the Arabian league is as competitive as the french leagus.

Crystal palace had a pretty big odd to play against manU and that didn't give 'em the privilege to have done something terrible - atleast not the way I thought...lol
The game was a big struggle, most especially when Bruno scored against their opponents and celebrated like never before. It even went more tough as an equalizer, Michael Olise scored for his team to have the scores leveled at 1:1. That's the last thing I expected from the match as I haven't experienced them playing a draw frequently. I'm just trying to figure out what will happen in man United's next match against Arsenal?

That's prolly the reasons why we've got different sites paying heavily for ads in here - in as much as this is a Bitcoin site.
If you check around, you'll realize that some peeps are wearing signatures and avatars for different casinos; it ain't just worn to get fancied, it's about the awareness which is prolly what you're looking for.
All you'll have to do is to check on the link pawel dropped; get to know the casino you're interested in and make sure to check on their trust ratings, commitment, durability etc... Uhhh, you won't really have long-standing casinos giving you offers that are much more enticing, the trust gained overtime is enough to keep you with 'em.

It seems to me that some peeps really enjoy being loyal to a casino for some frequent/ infrequent bonuses or T/C's ....if I were a gambler, I won't dare to put all my eggs in one basket.
Back to the point; Those rewards are set to ENTICE any gambler. They suffer a huge slice in commissions.and other income just to develop selfoffers to enrice 'em bettors -- it can also be called a way of promoting Thier sites, so nothing is new about that. So many casino are into the same thing; some are even thinking of a better way to wheel the minds of gamblers to themselves -- it's called business strategy.

I'm just too surprised to realize that Nayeb hasn't thwarted the option of reinstating Bitcoin as a legal tender in El Salvador... Hehe
I'm not really seeing El Salvador as a country that can contend with the influx in price and the entire volatility -- the made solid plans the last time when it almost cost them loosing the whole country's funds for a first trail...lol -- I wonder how solid his plans are this time around.
So you mean, a rich millionaire could easily be reduced to a common man in one just one night? He's just planing of increasing the rate of inflation though, I understand it's worth trying but, the Americans would've done that if it were possible yunno

Steph,
I respect the fact that this is an appraisal but on the other hand, it's not worth the little time you've spent in here honestly  Smiley
When a question arises in your mind, it'll be proper to use the forum search engines -- that will guide you on whether the same questions you're about to ask is been answered already.. you'll also get to see the responses from different reputables, that'd go a long way with you wouldn't it? I'm just surprised that no one has Said anything about the search engines to the OP.
I'm expecting to see more turgid/ constructive inquisitions next time... Welcome Steph.

Yeah, we'll still have alot of peeps falling for the same thing again and again' ...... Even as everyone has been assumed to read this overtime in here.
When I got registered, I realized so many things as the result of my taking time to study; I wasn't waiting for anyone to tell me what I was supposed to do cus I had a reason, and it motivated the potentials in me. Since I had an interest to forsee against any form of fraudulence, I got my ass stucked up in the most important discussions and I gradually got the knowledge in folds. I fear for the future: cus I realized most peeps won't learn until they get scammed already.

1600  Other / Meta / Re: Why the forum keep deleting my old posts? on: January 17, 2023, 10:08:30 PM
Recently the forum has been attacked by bot farms that post topics and posts with links to malicious software. Most of the bot farms are made up of newbies. And since global moderators cannot physically keep track of all these newbies to ban these bots, the regular moderators just nuke them. Some of the newbies have previously created threads. Since this bot isn't just banned, but is nuked, everything he wrote earlier is deleted completely. It's quite possible that your posts were in those threads and deleted along with them. And it doesn't just apply to your posts.
I was thinking about the reasons why I got mine deleted too and I'm just certainly convinced with this -- so at a point, I thought that my post weren't getting the desired standards? But how's that supposed to be true? Meanwhile, I know how much time I dedicate on every post I make But in turns, it began to seem like nothing much was done.
I've regained every lost courage; maybe apart from the fact that I'm not really that technically inclined, but for every session of encouragement and creativity -- has gone way too crucial yunno.
