Even today we had some surprises.
Nobody or almost nobody expected the defeat of Portugal against Morocco, the historic first time for an African team in the semi-finals of the World Cup.
In the other game, France won but the result was more indecisive than ever with the penalty missed in the end by Kane.

The match was certainly more complicated than Cristiano's but as of today I don't see a team clearly superior to the others.

At full strength France is probably superior but the missing players Benzema Pogba Kantè among the many are a big problem.

I certainly had some surprises at the results of the Portugal vs Morocco match. On paper, Portugal is the better team and should have easily won the game. But this World Cup has proven that miracles do happen as the Moroccans have gone ahead to eliminate Portugal from the tournament, leaving Ronaldo in tears as he walked away into the dressing room.

I think the England vs France match went pretty well. Two big teams with a lot of stars collide and France came out the victor by 2 goals to Englands 1. Now France has gone ahead in the tournament vying for the rights to be the World Cup winners.

Look at world economy and people struggle with bills.
Look all that things most people not gona be fit enough to pay their bills.
Europe UK very bad situation and now when people need most credit the Banks don't give.

The solution is Simple leave fiat banks and go crypto.
Until there is no Fiat eur or GBP Stable coins we can use as central reserve Stable currency USDT.

Goverment and Banks failed so leave them and let them sink in their own mess what they created.

Crypto is only way not CBDC but btc and USDT nobody actualyy don't want anything from bankers anymore.
People Will use btc and USDT

If you disapoint once dont think people gona trust you twice. Off course dont cry or complain later If you trust them again the bankers and goverment it's ur own fault then

Business owners If they are smart knows only way they can survive is crypto.

Cash fiat currency as USD can stay becouse it's good to have USD in hands becouse we all gona use USDT Stable coins anyways.

Sad to say, leaving banks and delving into cryptocurrencies fully is not going to help the world’s economy and help the general populace with their bills thus eradicating poverty to some extent.
What could help with the world economy is diversification of income.
Cryptocurrencies isn’t the only way out as I could think of one solid path to a blissful entrepreneurship, Agriculture. You also need fiat so if you convert all your funds to cryptocurrencies, how then could you pay bills and other necessities?

Ronaldo can be seen shedding some tears as he leaves the field into the dressing room. Who would have thought that Morocco, the only African country to still remain in the tournament just beat Portugal by a goal and thereby sending them home and out of the tournament. The dreams of Ronaldo lifting the World Cup has now be eliminated by the Moroccans. I think it was a great game and in my opinion, the Portuguese underestimated the Moroccans and got beaten. I almost felt pity for Portugal as their players took the loss badly. In all, it was a great game. Just not the results I was expecting but that’s football for you.

I think there are lots of people who are at this moment in awe of bitcoin and what it entails. I know I am. But I would also say you’re reaching way too far when you say bitcoin is a store of interplanetary value. Perhaps you’ve got some proof of life on somewhere other than the planet Earth?
In a hundred years from today and when the last bitcoin is mined, that is when we would truly know the worth and value of bitcoin. Then again, who knows what would happen in that time. The future is very unpredictable
1586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Small Scale Businesses should accept Cryptocurrencies as a medium of payment on: December 10, 2022, 02:07:47 PM
I don’t think small scale businesses should have to accept cryptocurrencies as a medium of payment. While it’s a great alternative to accepting cash payment, I think small businesses would probably find it more difficult to adopt receiving payments for their services in cryptocurrencies (preferably bitcoin).

Fiat is widely accepted and used hence why it’s the preferred currency businesses mostly adopt when starting out. They haven’t got the luxury nor the flexibility of accepting any other means of payment like big and huge corporations do.
Small businesses could have an option to accept payments in cryptocurrencies and also accept payments in fiat which is mostly used and accepted. Accepting payments in cash doesn’t really bring any disadvantages to the small business owner.
1587  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I became Independent Because of Cryptocurrency on: December 09, 2022, 09:14:11 PM
To be fully independent, you’ve got to have a stable source of income as well as alternative sources where income flows in. You can’t just rely on a single source(bitcoin in your case) to be fully independent.
While I can fully relate to what you’re talking about being independent cause of bitcoin, I would advise you to remember to diversify on your income and only then would you be fully independent and not have to rely on your parents anymore for anything. I wish you success on your road towards independence.
1588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ FIFA World Cup 2022: Tournament Discussion Thread for Qatar 2022 on: December 09, 2022, 05:53:14 PM
Brazil is officially out of the tournament. Having lost out on penalties to Croatia. I don’t think anyone saw this coming. I really can’t believe it but Brazil is out of the tournament!! The Croatians were undoubtedly better in this match. Brazil was my favorite between the two but I was really disappointed in the gameplay of the Brazilians.
The Croatians were damn lucky. From having scored a very late goal to bring them into the penalties round, to finally winning the game.
Bruno, who has only one shot on target in the whole game and that shot on target is what made them win the game. Good for them! They played well and deserve the win.
1589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 09, 2022, 05:36:37 PM
And the Croatians have just equalized and scored a goal of their own thereby drawing the game now. The game is now more likely to go into penalties. Bruno having scored the goal for Croatia and getting a yellow card also for celebrating with his shirt off. Croatia would now go into full defense mode to defend the goal. I fear if the match does go into penalties, Brazil is likely to lose as in my opinion, they could not go head to head with Croatia in penalties. The Croatian keeper has saved his side over and over and deserve some praise.
1590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 09, 2022, 05:29:57 PM
I honestly didn’t expect Croatia to put up a fight they way they did. I had expected this match to be somewhat of a walkover for Brazil but the Croatians have put up a good fight and held on.  The Croatians, having held the Brazilians for the full time of the game and into the extra time of the game.
Neymar, having scored the only goal of the game for now, have put the Brazilian side in the lead.

1593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks do not want bitcoin to become popular on: December 08, 2022, 05:59:10 PM
I came across this news on CNBC where standard chartered bank claims that bitcoin will reach 5000$. Being a bank, this can be their wish and not a reality. Banks do not want bitcoin to become popular and therefore they spread this negative information so people panic sell and do not adopt bitcoin.  Sad

There has always been predictions about bitcoin’s doom and downfall. Banks as well as financial markets predictions are never in favor of bitcoin. They see bitcoin as a threat as they couldn’t make any make any profits holding peoples coins and so, they’re automatically against it.
I’ve seen numerous negative predictions and forecasts about bitcoin and it’s price. Predictions that always turn out wrong. With the number of times bitcoin has supposedly died and miraculously risen over and over, it’s no surprise there are folks who would choose to “worship” bitcoin.
1594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much initial startup to Start Cryptocurrency Casino? on: December 08, 2022, 02:06:59 PM
OP, Trying to start up and run a casino is no easy feat. There are hurdles and I mean a lot! Starting from your license to enable you run to full time marketing. You need to make your new and unknown casino known and that is no easy feat. You would have to spend a whole lot of money to put yourself out there. Not forgetting that there are old, reliable, trusted and known casino out there who would definitely be a competition to you. You would have to offer madly attractive promotions and services and all that requires money. Obviously, you couldn’t handle all that by yourself and would need to have a staff working either full time or part time.
If you’ve got $100,000 to play around with, I would ask you think really hard before you put up a casino.

Who is waiting for Tomorrow Match which is held between Brazil and Croatia Team. I think Croatia Team will give a tough time to Brazil Team. But more chances to win the Brazil Team because their performance in previous match is too Fantastic and Team work. In my thoughts, Brazil Team will this match.
I am even more sure that it will be Croatia who will have a hard time against the Brazilian national team tomorrow. Because the Brazilian national team, which is still studded with stars in the current world cup, is giving indications and proof that Brazil is still the strongest national team to enter the world cup final. Moreover, players like Neymar have recovered so that they can add to the strength of the Brazilian national team in this quarter-final.

It is obvious to everyone that Brazil is the stronger team of the two. I’m pretty sure Croatians deep within themselves knows this as well. Like you stated, the Brazilian side is loaded with stars and all and is favored to win. But this is football where anything could literally happen. Croatia could go ahead and win the game on goals or on penalties. It is unlikely to happen but could still happen. Needless to say, Brazil is in superb form. Worth great players and superb tactics, they are poised to defeat anyone who stands in their quest to claim as theirs, the World Cup.

I still cannot digest Spain went home the way it did.
I actually gave my vote in this thread about seeing Spain the finals... So many teams I thought they would over-perform are gone now, among all the alleged scandals, etc. This world cup is being quite unpredictable.

I too had thought Spain had a shot at reaching the World Cup finals if not to win the finals but I guess I thought wrong. This World Cup, like you rightly said is quite unpredictable as countries generally seen as underdogs are beating their opponents. Lots of teams I thought had a chance reaching the quarter finals have now been defeated and eliminated from the competition. I had voted for France on the thread but I honestly didn’t expect Spain to be out at this stage. This World Cup is unpredictable and in my opinion, that makes it really exciting
1597  Economy / Economics / Re: From grace to grass:Reasons why a Well to do investor turned a nobody. on: December 07, 2022, 09:19:02 PM
There are numerous reasons on why a wealthy individual or investor could suddenly lose all the accumulated wealth and go bankrupt overnight.
Greed plays an important role in investors losing out on their investments. When an investment looks too good to be true, it most likely is. People fail to realize this early enough and only when it’s too late and impossible to back out, that is when the most clears from the mind.
I think greed is the no 1 and most important factor that makes investors lose out. There are numerous reasons, of course but greed, in my opinion trumps all.
1598  Economy / Economics / Re: Central Bank of Nigeria to limit cash withdrawals on: December 07, 2022, 08:34:43 PM
This move might just be considered politically motivated by some. The redesigning of the currency notes obviously at a time close to the country’s general election could as well be considered politically motivated as well. But it has its uses as well.
This new move by the central bank to limit cash withdrawals would certainly come as a surprise to its citizens as most citizens and small businesses  probably utilize cash payments more often and this would somewhat be a hindrance to businesses as well as funds for personal uses.
This could also be a move to minimize the amount of cash in circulation and further to curb inflation in the country.
1599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should the physically challenged be exempted from bitcoin? on: December 07, 2022, 07:52:05 PM
I must admit, your topic bead caught my attention and I came here ready to severely reprimand you thinking you’re on the side of exempting physically challenged individuals just for the fact that they’re disabled in some way. Physically disabled individuals are not exempted from bitcoin and I haven’t heard of any exemptions on the basis of any disability. Limiting anyone on the basis of a disability is so 7th century.
The only hurdle anyone would face to use bitcoin is an internet connected device and an internet connection.

Ronaldo must have been very hungry to score a goal as he couldn’t net a goal. Overall, it was a fantastic play from Portugal with very good goals. With more accurate passes and a fast gameplay, they came prepared and thoroughly whipped the Swiss. The Swiss players played with little motivation in the second half as they seemed to have resigned to their fate of having lost already.
Goncalo Ramos having scored 3 goals for the match ball is obviously the man of the match. I think Portugals gameplay was fantastic and they played better than all their previous games. A hatrick is always a beautiful thing and there’s joy when one gets one. I think Pepe’s goal was a wonderful goal and he played well also. At his age of 39, he’s still kicking strong.
