...
I think a marketing area is missing; glasses, tshirts, caps, hoods, coasters, poker chips with the Gosu logo, etc. Ah! and of course BTCGOSU coin Smiley

Something I saw recently. Never enough marketing:

There is no guarantee that anyone who play slots a lot will hit a big multiplier, even a newbie who have never played slot can hit big multiplier in his first try.
Coming up about lack of time, I do believe you have a lot of time since you have the time to make posts in this forum everyday while playing slot can be done anytime you wish.
The main problem is not about lack of time for slot competition, but more about willingness to participate.

I missed a few competitions, but not because I didn't have the will to participate. Sometimes, even after a few deposits, I didn't have luck hitting anything over x100 for an entry. I guess that happened to others as well... so we come to this:

Always prefer low volatility slots also so chances on hitting big on these slots is also lower.

Low or high volatility slots?! High-volatility slots are way more interesting than low-volatility ones... at least for me. And from my experience, it's almost the same! I played low-volatility slots and lost a lot without any big wins or hitting a bonus round (or I won a bonus round that gave nothing), and I played high-volatility slots and won a lot after a few spins. I feel like it's not about the volatility, they can present any numbers there, it's about pure luck!

Anyways, are there any predictions for what the price of FUN token might be if Bitcoin makes it to its previous all time high, what do you guys think is the possibility of this token reaching $0.5 from now till the end of 2024, is this price possible or not?

You should keep in mind that if the FUN token was 50 cents, it would mean that the market cap of the project would be more than $5 billion. At the moment, it seems to me impossible and unlikely that such a price would be achievable even if the BTC price reaches the previous ATH. I can't even imagine what developers would have to come up with to make the FUN token grow from the current $0.0078 to 50 cents.
I guess that is impossible. If FUN is able to reach 0,03$ or 0,04$ next Bitcoin's ATH it should be already considered a big win for investors. The maximum it has hit was 0,19$ closely to its launchment in 2018, and from that moment it has never recovered to such price range again.

10-11 billion supply is too much and I believe only a powerful burning mechanism could bring prices to the 0,50$ mentioned by @Fivestar4everMVP. And by powerful burning mechanism I mean burning 95% of supply... Tongue

Plus, decreasing interest rates on locking/staking.

Really impossible, haha! Cheesy
Yeah, I think I will have to agree that such a price is impossible for now, after verifying the total supply and checking $0.5 usd would mean for the market cap, I have to honestly agree that it's impossible.

And another thing which I think is also impossible is for the team to burn 95 percent of the total supply of fun token, buying such amount of fun token from holders would cost them alot of money, and I believe that if they have such amount of money, they would rather invest it on something else that burn it through fun token.

Am I looking at something wrong or are you confused? And that all-time high was way before it was introduced on Freebitcoin.

Quote
FreeBitco.in Launches FUN Token Savings
FUN Token was created in 2017 to bring decentralized online gambling to the masses. However, rising Ethereum gas fees and latency made operations impractical coming into 2021. That’s when FreeBitco.in, the seventh-largest online casino in the world, stepped in.
Source: https://crypto.news/freebitco-in-introduces-savings-program-for-the-most-promising-token-of-2021/#:~:text=Eventually%2C%20FreeBitco.in%20acquired%20FUN,in%20a%20matter%20of%20months.

As you can see from the charts, $0.05 was the highest price since the FUN token is on Freebitcoin. From my recollection, the price on the website was over 60 sats... I had fun and I spent most of my first FUN tokens (on DPlay), but what I hold now I bought when the price was a little over 20 sats. So I am in a little plus (if I could sell all my FUN tokens now, but they are locked until the end of April).

Ethereum Shocks the World: Half a Million Validators and Rising, Is Ethereum the Next Crypto King Or BTC?

tell me if it's a stupid question

Quote
As many as one million people were mining Ether with over $10 billion dollars worth of mining equipment before the Merge

Well, I guess it's not a big deal... miners are just migrating, and probably there are even more people who own 32 Ethereums from way back and they are waking up slowly.

I wouldn't bet on Ethereum as the next crypto king... I don't think we will see any changes about that any time soon.
1584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your take on this crypto gambling use case idea? on: January 21, 2023, 02:51:32 PM
Do you think it makes sense if a crypto gambling platform only accepts it's own token for gambling and gambling on it's platform? If the games they offer are one-of-a-kind, new, and addictive wouldn't this make the gambling token very valuable? I am asking on behalf of a friend who wants to build his own crypto gambling project on the blockchain. Will this work? Will this fail? What's your take on this?

The thing is that there are already so many gambling sites in the crypto market these days which already accepts so many coins.
When there are established crypto casinos which accepts wide range of coins then it becomes really hard for a new gambling site to survive which just offers their native token.
The chances are very slim and so I will recommend accepting most of the established altcoins and bitcoin.

I think the same, but "one-of-a-kind" sounds pretty interesting, so if some gambling platform comes out with new and unique games that can be very attractive. It's not easy and simple to create something "new & unique", so I guess that is a difficult part. Accepting just one coin for playing on the site is not a big issue, they can easily get some partnership with some exchange or swap service, so any deposit in any currency will be automatically exchanged for a house coin/token.

Speaking of which, when was the last time you played a new and unique gambling game? What game was it?
1585  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: QUESTION: For Gambling Enthusiasts ❗❗ on: January 21, 2023, 07:05:17 AM
I like both options, I'm familiar with all those games... some of them I still actively play, while some I haven't played in a long time. Lately, I have mostly been choosing option A, which means playing slots, dices, limbo, roulette, etc. I don't have a lot of time, so those games suit me better. I can simply start and quit at any moment without any penalties.
As for option B, apart from poker, I didn't see that we can play other games for money anywhere... sure it would be interesting to have a larger selection of PvP games and casinos that offer them, but I can't say that I have seen any "serious" project in crypto space.
1586  Economy / Economics / Re: How is the cost of living in your country? on: January 20, 2023, 05:30:44 PM
Globally, the cost of living is ever increasing...

Exactly... and I don't think it will stop increasing in the near future.

I already have a plan to reduce my cost of living in the next 5 years. I will build a house and move from a rented apartment to my own home.
I will also install solar panel to provide me electricity I plan on having a large garden too to grow some vegetables. In doing so, I believe my monthly costs of living will have reduced.

As a house owner, with a large garden and chickens (my daughter insisted to buy chickens, and some other animals as well, but that is postponed) I can only say "good luck in trying to reduce the cost of living"! Smiley

House and a big yard mean a lot of work and a lot of investments. My house is finished, but the yard is not... so much more needs to be done and for sure some things I will do by myself (in which case I need tools (I bought many, but still far from what I really need) or I will higher workers (for some works definitely, along with some heavy machinery), in either way I need materials that costs more than double compared with the prices from 5-6 years ago when I moved in this house and started investing in it.

And growing/keeping animals costs as well, and you just and one more thing on your "to-do" list! But at least you know what you are eating, unlike what we buy today in all those markets, who knows what they are mixing!
1587  Economy / Gambling / Re: bc.game dice is better than stake.com dice on: January 20, 2023, 03:44:23 PM
You are hella funny mate. Justifying a site base on the outcome of your session doesn't make sense. Dice is based on luck. It just happened that you got lucky playing on another site at that time and not because it's a better site. Also, you forgot that the house always wins, be it physical or online. That's a fact in gambling.

by accident.
You said it yourself. End of discussion.

I guess it's something normal, our favorite place is always the place where we win. I agree that dice is a lucky-based game, and the house wins most of the time, but from time to time we win as well.

I generally prefer BC more than Stake, and I am active on BC. I think it's hard to compare BC and Stake, both have a big choice of games and many many features, so it would be fair to say that both are great. In my case, the BC style suits my personal taste more.
1588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's a good idea to just register on casino on: January 20, 2023, 09:44:49 AM
I can almost guarantee you, that if you register at a new casino with an email address or mobile phone number.. you will get promotional content from them to remind you of your absence.  Roll Eyes

Casinos are not really interested in people that are not active, that is why they are giving rewards for people who are active. (VIP rewards) So, it will be a waste of time and money to dump a lot of money into inactive gamblers... hoping that it will incentivize them to be more active.   Undecided

Excellent! We all receive promotional emails about active and upcoming deposit bonuses, tournaments & competitions... but cash rewards and free spins/bets are for active players. Loyalty programs exist for a reason, but not every casino has that!

And it's like that in my experience. From some casinos, where I was more active, I get a little treat from time to time. But from some casinos, where I have only one deposit and without much playing I get just ordinary promo material.

🌟Good Luck! 🌟

Happy birthday! I saw it on the site... It's hard to miss that birthday fortune wheel! Generally, I think those wheels are interesting, you had the wheel for almost every occasion in the past months (since I am playing). I remember the Halloween and World Cup, the last ones before this.

Missions look interesting, but with a $1 min bet, we will need a lot of luck to pass some tasks! Smiley
1590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Learn from my mistake, these people aren't playing on: January 19, 2023, 07:15:10 PM
Well, to be honest, this is an obvious scam...
A scam is a trick used to cheat someone out of money. At the same time, a scam in crypto investment is when the team behind a token is intended to stop the project and not try to grow the token price as soon as they raise a certain amount of money. And looking at their current trading graphs, they are clearly still working on the project.

It's easy to manipulate with trading graphs... if you have some funds to spare on that.

Yes, their idea is shit, and they intentionally tried to mislead people to some degree into thinking they are the official token of OpenAI. But they never tried to "scam" people. What they did was they took advantage of a trend. In fact, their token price has doubled since they launched their liquid pool, which is quite surprising.

I'm not trying to justify them. I'm trying to say that they're not the worst token people have created in recent years.

You are a bit contradictory. Their idea is shit, they are taking advantage of the current hype, but they are not trying to scam people with all that... yea, they are building the real project! They took a logo from some other project and their idea for what purposes?

Cartoon images? Really?
Those are AI generated images, and they perfectly fit their concept.

I'd point out their token allocation block as a clear indication of the "wait a minute" effect or their extremely poor documentation.

OK... I guess there's a big difference between Cartoon and AI-generated images. Either way, I check the site and I didn't like what I saw... let's talk in 6 months about this project, in that time we will see how far they got with the name/logo from another project, and AI-generated images instead of real developers. I don't even wish to check their token allocation block... that amount can just disappear at any moment.

In the end, it's just my opinion... Maybe I am wrong about this, but as I said, we will see in some time.

If you live in generally canada you should earn at least 3500 in order to function normally.
Euro zone it's about 3500 EUR
In USA it's varied but If you live in los Angeles or new York it's a 7000$ + for sure
In UK London is more expensive but its about 4000 + for sure.
...

And where is the rest of the world? Smiley

I guess we need to find a definition of "normal life" first, after that, we can discuss how much money a person needs every month to maintain that "normal life".

I work in a state sector where wages are 500 euros more or less... compared with the ones from the Eurozone it's a lot lower, but the prices in the Lidle markets are the same in all countries.

He was probably thinking "easy $11k"! Well, most of us who gamble for a long time have similar fails, but this guy's bet was crazy high! I can't imagine his double disappointment, he lost a lot of money and his team lost the game.

He made a bet at 27-0... and the Chargers lost a game in the end! It's a nice example about one of our discussions here on the forum, is it better to make a crazy high bet on very low odds, or to try the opposite, placing a low bet on some very high low? Risk & possible gains... a $100 on Jaguars to win at that moment was probably very high!

The fake OpenAI ERC link is https://www.openaierc.com/

Be careful out there famz, these scammers are not playing

Well, to be honest, this is an obvious scam... it's visible after a few seconds on the site. Cartoon images? Really? And I am not sure what to say about the entire site, it's so simple and small, practically without all the important stuff... just pictures and promises! And in the end, look at the tokens listings... you can probably list any shit on that ones by yourself in a few hours.

Scammers are not playing, and sometimes they can be very sneaky... but these are some basic things, check the site and look around before you make any investments!
1594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum deposit and minimum withdrawal. on: January 18, 2023, 09:17:17 AM
I play with as little as $20 yet I manage to enjoy every single bit of it and last for 2 hours minimum at the casino I frequent on. If you're looking to kill time and get some entertainment off betting, you'll adjust your betting patterns to match your current budget. Not really a hard sacrifice for us who enjoys gambling as is no matter how small our budget is. In fact, it even serves as a challenge to see whether I'm able to withdraw anything after the session or not.

When it comes to in-house games 10-20 dollars is a nice starting balance, especially in some low-cost coins... my favorite is TRX (but I like a few others as well), and $20 is more than 300 TRX. Having in mind that the minimum bet can be with many decimals it makes it perfect for setting up some auto-betting strategies, or for chasing some very high payouts.
And gambling should be about entertainment and killing some time doing something interesting, I don't think the budget is crucial here, everyone should play with money they can afford to lose/spend on fun.
1595  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gates of olympus on: January 17, 2023, 07:34:07 PM
Is this what we are reduced to? Is there going to be a thread for every single pragmatic game? Everyone has heard of gate of olympus and nearly every other pragmatic slot. It's 1 of the most popular providers for online casinos.

Maybe we are just getting old? We don't understand "new trends"? Smiley

Well, I know a few people who hit "max wins" on Gates of Olympus, it's x5k. Even though I played a lot and won many bonuses from "normal" spins, and bought many bonus rounds, I never had the luck to hit that max win... I can't say it was a disaster every time, I had some nice wins, Pragmatic can be generous from time to time.
1596  Economy / Economics / Re: Does a side job/business improve your finanical stability ? on: January 17, 2023, 11:15:26 AM
...
For skilled people, specially those that have in demand skills, they're the most desirable in the gig marketplace as they're like the performance/output based jobs.

Skilled people will find a job more easily, and if their skill is in demand, they will find a well-paid job more easily. But in the end, there are always jobs, more or less paid, for those who want to work and improve. Those who do not want to work will only find excuses.

A side job can improve financial stability but it's exhausting. I combined two or more works when I was younger, but just when I needed more money for some of my plans. The last time when I needed some extra cash was 4-5 years ago... juggling between two jobs and a family (wife and one kid at that time) was physically and mentally difficult, it's a different experience when you simply can't get enough rest, and for sure you can't provide enough attention to your family.

A side job/business can improve financial stability, but it's not something that someone should do for a long time... it consumes a lot of time and energy, and if you overdo it your private life will suffer (your family (wife and especially kids) even more if you have them). I guess we all need some balance in life, it's hard to find it, but it's there.

It would be better to open a topic in scam accusations. Looked at your screenshots and the conversions with the team are in Spanish. Could you explain what they were saying as my Spanish is not great. It seems that you failed audit, does it mean you failed KYC?

hello, Spanish is my native language and I can tell you the support answer to lois2016.

support said they were restricted from withdrawals due to bonus abuse and asked lois2016 to deposit 1500 usd and wager 3000 usd to remove account restrictions.

I don't like when casinos ask for additional deposits and wagering... It's ok if there's only wagering, but that stuff should be highlighted, with predetermined rules. And "bonus abuse" can be understood in many ways, there must be something specific that causes the problem.

Well, Louis should open a scam accusation if he believes he is a fair player. Some people simply have the luck to make some nice profit from the crops we get from different drops. ... here is the Scam Report Format.

1598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anybody else confused by the dead-coins pump ? on: January 17, 2023, 06:58:51 AM
I think whales are just gambling on these once popular and top coins since they've been like 99% down already so it's easier to create huge buy volume. It's not surprising if they bounce once the retail investors or casuals starts riding the hype. They will look for that next heavily dumped coin or token and repeat the process.

Whoever is doing this, whales or some pump & dump groups, is just trying to scam people. It's easy to create some volume and that can attract some people, fresh blood... so people who are trying their luck with hyped dead coins are the ones who actually gamble, against all odds I would say.

Nothing new in the crypto world, I doubt that anyone here is really confused. After a while, you just stop paying attention to it and focus on real projects.
1599  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Go-to casino on: January 16, 2023, 05:07:30 PM
Surprised to see some users saying freebitco is their go to casino. I mean, are they serious or they are just randomly mentioning some casinos? Have you had a look at the house edge of the dice? Or house edge is something that you guys don't care at all? Play at some other casino that has lower house edge. You would be surprised how much more you would be winning.

Go to casinos should be casinos that offer instant registration, that allows you to play only after one or two deposit network confirmation, instant withdrawal and has easy to play games. You should try Crypto.Games if you haven't.

Freebitcoin has a high house edge, but there are other perks... Personally, I like to play for more RP's on weekends, even better if I have a longer session and get some golden ticket as well.

I agree with you, go to casinos should have simple registration (just email and password), and even more important fast deposits/withdrawals. I would choose BC.Games, a nice and long list of available games, and some good stuff for people who wager a lot. In my case, all deposits/withdrawals were almost instant.

This is the reason why I will never invest in buying those Casascius coins... you just don't know if the creator of those coins has access to the Private key. They usually tell you that it is done electronically and that they have some kind of method that hides the Private key from the creator, but I think it is all bullshit.  Roll Eyes
I never looked at how the whole collectible coins work. But it could be done better than loading the address by the creator.

Well, in this case, it was bullshit. If he kept all those private keys in some way, he was preparing for fraud from the very beginning.

We have all seen countless things about collectibles here on the forum, I guess it's interesting in some way but I never had a passion to buy one or to get more included in any way. Looks like it was a good choice...

And what will happen with collectibles now? One addicted gambler ruined the entire business!
