so I sent coins to another address while the wallet was still synchronizing with the network, I wasn't really paying attention to the synchronization bar. Anyway, the wallet has been stuck on 2hrs behind for a couple of hrs. the coins are not showing up in the new address and are gone from my wallet. I have about 12 active connections.
