How can you experience the fun if you don't use that money you have for gambling?

I didn't say that you should never bet money. I said that you should play for a while for free to learn the basics. Poker requires knowledge and skill, and betting real money the very first times you play when you don't understand the game is just throwing your money away.
15822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Let's turn $2000 to $200 million within a year. on: July 16, 2018, 07:35:42 PM
that's pretty pathetic. Well I've got two questions for you.
And I demand some honest answers.
1. How much do you think it cost Satoshi (the genius man or minds behind the creation of blockchain) to pull off bitcoin knowing so well about cost of space resources apart from programing, cryptographic and networking skills?

2. Assuming this was that year (presumably 2008)  when he/they were seeking people to assist them on creating a better payment system, and you were emailed on probably a forum, just like this, or through an email, to join hand in creating such a revolutionary breakthrough (which I assume would cost time, geek thought and genius's endeavors + little money to pay for space resources just as in the case with the real satoshi), would you accept it or blindly call that a scam attempt?

Knowing in the world today that you can actually start a web business even with the least capital and resources. Its all matters of being able to think your mind, being creative, ability to give solutions and so on.

1 - You are not Satoshi. This argument is completely irrelevant.

2 - Satoshi didn't ask for $2000 without providing any details whatsoever.

If what you claim was true, you would simply make yourself a millionaire in a matter of months. The fact that you are not doing that, are instead here trying to convince people to send you their money, is proof enough that this entire thing is a scam.
15823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling on Game of Thrones' new season - who sits on the throne at the end? on: July 16, 2018, 04:54:18 PM
I don't know, I think Cersei might survive to the end. She is so universally hated that killing her off just seems too obvious. Maybe Tyrion convinces Dany to spare her as a gift to Jaime?
15824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can anyone teach me? on: July 16, 2018, 03:11:45 PM
There are literally thousands of sites out there that will teach you how to play poker: https://www.google.com/search?q=how+to+play+poker

I would suggest spending some time playing for fun (i.e. no money involved) for a while until you learn the basics.

Look at your trust before creating a thread for scam. Can you explain if you can do it, why not discuss with your relatives or friends first?  Smiley

He's not going to scam people who know him, that would just be stupid. Much better to to anonymously scam strangers online, then you can more easily run away with their money.
15826  Economy / Economics / Re: Why exchanges do not pay interest? on: July 16, 2018, 09:17:10 AM
if i have only an account, how come i can check the deposits and withdrawals
without even logging in it?

Why the coins are withdrawed several seconds after that?

The exchange generates a unique address for you to deposit to. Once you have deposited, your account is creditted with that many coins, and then the coins are transferred from that unique address to the exchange's main storage wallets. Similarly if you pay fiat in to a bank, your account is creditted with that much money, and then the actual paper money is moved to the bank's main storage safe/vaults.

I have always just used Rainmeter - there are loads of different Bitcoin and Altcoin tickers, and you can completely customise them to fit your desktop.

Have a look here:

This is clearly a scam and everyone would do well to stay away.

If what he says is true, he would simply have saved/begged/borrowed $2000 and made himself a millionaire. The reason he hasn't done that is because he can't, so now he is trying to scam you out of your money.

Ignore this scammer.
15829  Economy / Economics / Re: Study Finds Cryptocurrency Rebalance Portfolios Outperform ‘Hodling’ on: July 15, 2018, 07:50:05 PM
So this site "Shrimpy" performed a study in to themselves, and they concluded that they were good. Conflict of interest much?

You might as well ask Ronald McDonald which fast-food chain is the best.
15830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: July 15, 2018, 07:18:39 PM
I still can't believe that Hugo Lloris made such a bad mistake in front of his own goal. Even though that blunder wasn't change the fact that France is still leading, but for me it looks so embarassing. Btw nice to see France win the title.
Hugo Lloris has got the Loris Karius bug  Grin De Gea made some rookie mistakes as well. Looks like it's the season of goalkeeper fails haha

Bet it was Ramos' fault. Was he one of the pitch invaders?

Seriously though, what a great final. Fair play to Croatia, but France have been too strong all tournament. This win also makes France the Unofficial Football World Champions.
15831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: July 15, 2018, 10:00:12 AM
Would also love to see Croatia win, but I don't think they can do it. Pogba, Griezmann and particularly Mbappe have been superb this tournament. I would predict 3-1 to France, Mbappe for Golden Ball and obviously Harry Kane for Golden Boot.
15832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum vs EOS on: July 15, 2018, 09:50:59 AM
EOS is a centralized, inflationary scam. The EOS Block Producers gave themselves the power to freeze accounts, reverse transaction and seize tokens as they see fit, with no regulation or oversight, all whilst printing more EOS for themselves on a daily basis.

The only people still promoting it are bagholders hoping for some naive newbies to pump the price so they can dump their bags.
15833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounty managers to be blamed? on: July 15, 2018, 09:44:30 AM
No. There is no reason to suspect a bounty manager "knew what the ICO was up to" if they are simply being employed to manage a spreadsheet and check some post histories. This does not make them complicit if that ICO turns out to be a scam, unless they also had a greater role in that ICO or were privy to some other insider information.
15834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: July 14, 2018, 05:04:49 PM
Almost certain for Harry Kane to take the golden boot then - he has 6 goals, and now Lukaku has finished his last game with no more goals, the next closest are Griezmann and Mbappe, both on 3 goals.
15835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does hard work in gambling count? on: July 14, 2018, 04:40:32 PM
Just a clarification: it is useless to count cards in blackjack nowadays because casinos use many card decks and shuffle every time.

Playing a 6 or 8 deck game certainly reduces the benefit of card-counting compared to, say, a 2 deck game, but it does not make it obsolete. Continuous shuffle machines do make card counting obsolete, but these are far from commonplace.

Ahh, bad luck OP. Everyone knows The Pharmacist only removes red trust if you use the word "sir" at least 6 times in your post. You only used it 5 times, so looks like your red trust is here to stay.
15837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling on Game of Thrones' new season - who sits on the throne at the end? on: July 14, 2018, 03:21:20 PM
Jon and Daenerys conquer Westeros, deafeat the Night King and the white walkers, then dissolve the throne and establish a democracy. What odds can I get on that?
15838  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why are some people still skeptical about climate change? on: July 14, 2018, 03:17:02 PM
If media gave them a false view, it is even less likely they will ever come to see the situation with pure logical thinking or even read sources stating opposing facts :S

There's that same mistaken argument again - there are no opposing facts. The facts are unequivocal and undisputed that climate change is real and man-made. There are opposing opinions, but they are just that - opinions.
15839  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why are some people still skeptical about climate change? on: July 14, 2018, 08:11:58 AM
"It's your own choice and this is our trip."

But you don't get to choose if facts are true or not. That's what makes them facts.
