15861  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You know, I've noticed Bitcoin has become the butt of a lot of jokes lately. on: February 07, 2016, 08:36:23 PM
The thought of me defacing your man's fiat bills seems to have disturbed you eh. Tell me, does your boyfriend know you're trolling on his account while he's away working?
Ouch that's almost like calling him a fag!  Heavenz noooo!!!
15862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BARR dev does not appreciate humour. on: February 07, 2016, 08:23:56 PM
yawn, didn't read
I'm not on either of your sides here, but I didn't read all of this either.  TL.

BARR is an interesting concept, but it doesn't surprise me that this guy who's running it can become a cocksucker very quickly when dealing with shitcoin devs.  Or anyone for that matter.  It's probably a sweeping generalization here, but my guess is that most people in the cryptocurrency have a little of the 'angry white man' syndrome, especially when dealing with other angry white men.
15863  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for .1 loan on: February 07, 2016, 07:58:15 PM
OP, looking at your trust feedback you look like you're a very dishonest person.  How do you answer the charges made on your trust page?  Your collateral is shit, so you're not getting the loan unless some sucker swoops in to lose his money.  I would hope that doesn't happen.
15864  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: 0.001 BTC or more per day (without investment) on: February 07, 2016, 07:55:31 PM
Its quite surprising, you're signature says "You can't give loans because interest is forbidden in Islam".And you have feedback which says "Sharing a guide to card PayPal accounts and commit fraud. Avoid any deals with this user.
".The irony is strong with this one.Sorry to be offtopic but this post seems like other spam things you would make people to do to pay them.Negative feedback should be enough to know, you could not be trusted.
Agreed, very much so though this probably shouldn't become a discussion on religion.  Sounds like a scam.
15865  Economy / Speculation / Re: The reason for BTC drop on: February 07, 2016, 07:52:02 PM
Over the past 6-7 months bitcoin price has been very sensitive to news stories about an impending hard fork. This is due to "the sky is falling" mentality of many news outlets. Bitcoin will be fine, use any price drops as a buying opportunity.
Agreed, and I'm doing just this.  That 'sky is falling' mentality you speak of has been with us for years, not just about bitcoin but the economy in general.  And Zerohedge has been a big part in bringing everyone the doomsday is a-comin' news.  Take everything they say with a huge grain of salt.
15866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum to go up or down? on: February 07, 2016, 05:18:32 PM
Interesting, I actually learned more about Ethereum from this thread than from all the other threads I've read on it combined.  Too bad Yobit doesn't list it, I'd trade some.  Looks like it's exploded since this thread was started.
15867  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: February 07, 2016, 05:14:29 PM
Yep, bitcoin is definitely used for illegal activities.  But as Lauda and others have pointed out, cash has been used for these same purposes for centuries.  Every dollar and cent in your pocket has probably been used to buy drugs or weapons and everything else at some point, so this is not an issue that really should affect bitcoin.

I say should, because the press thinks it's got the scoop of the century by reporting shit like this.
15868  Economy / Lending / Re: My horrible experience with segvec/Ninjahitiko/SellingHBOGo on: February 07, 2016, 12:16:22 AM
I have found this individual to less than human. Over the last few years, I was an active trader with Ninjahitiko (his real names on BTC Talk are  SellingHBOGo & segvec). I had completed several transactions, all of which were flawless and timely, with all of them being in the thousands. Over time, I trusted this man, and in August of 2015, I asked him for a very large amount of BTC, worth almost $27,250. I really thought I was getting a good deal because I knew BTC would skyrocket from then on. He upfront told me that he had well over 1k BTC in what he called his "reserves". I sent him the money, as always without any escrow, via bank wire, and he tells me he is waiting on his partner for the BTC. At this point, I am extremely cool, because I know this man is "trustworthy". I wait one week, two weeks, and then finally on the third week, I call him up on Skype and he says he can't pay me! Of course, out of anger, I rage and tell him that I'll call the cops. He tells me it's "mutually assured destruction" if I tell any authority, because he can paint a coat of lies about my business (an online alternative medicine provider). He ended the call telling me to "shut the fuck up or else [he'll] shut down [my] business". I tried to call Bank of America and tell them about the situation, but they said they couldn't do anything. In September, I called the police and told them what had happened. They said that if this had happened, and the banks couldn't get the money back, there was nothing they can do.

Out of frustration, I located a few people who were very tech savvy. I paid them a small sum of money to find information through his profiles (segvec, SellingHBOGo, and Ninjahitiko). At first, they found his location to be in Moscow, Russia. I told them that this is wrong, he lives somewhere in Canada, and then they told me: "if that is the case, he is hiding behind many networks; it is impossible for us to find him".

The following morning, I ask him "how could you scam an innocent man almost $30,000 USD?". He then taunts me, calls me stupid, and talks about all the things he's gonna do with my money. As you can see, this clown is an extreme degenerate. If anyone can get information on this man, please send it my way, or if not that, report it to the authorities. Please, this man is not just "Ninjahitiko", "he" is a vast network of accounts operating on this forum. I may be risking my business (and in turn my life) because he is very good at fraud and making up fake documents, but I am doing this for the greater good of the people. Yes, my business has been involved in illegal activities, which he himself knows about because I told him - that is totally my fault - but I have never robbed innocent people of their money, ever.

Thank you.

Blocktrail or it didn't happen.
15869  Economy / Reputation / Re: What happened to Muhammed Zakir ? on: February 06, 2016, 10:57:49 PM
I don't think he'd forget about a loan either, because he was a big lender around here before he disappeared.  That member gkv9 was defending him up and down a while back then stopped, and I thought he said he knew MZ personally.

As an aside, I responded in gkv9's recent lending thread (he's late on a loan) and was thinking of MZ and started a thread a few minutes ago myself about this.  I didn't even realize OP had done the same.  Weird coincidence.

Hope he comes back, because flood or not it does seem like something happened.

Why weird coincidence? Do you think they are the same person?  Or what?
No, the coincidence is that I'd started a thread on the very same topic (wondering where MZ went to and if there were any updates) on the same day.  It wasn't intentional, I just didn't see there already was one or didn't look.  I locked up my thread after this was brought to my attention.
15870  Economy / Reputation / Re: this mothrfuckr Dorrittulx should apologize on: February 06, 2016, 10:46:02 PM
Here is your 2 threads summed up.  I didn't take the time to read the rules or understand what I was doing and got slapped on the wrist.  I now think I am above that because I understand the rules, so apologize to me for calling me out for being lazy.

Grow up, accept the fact that you were lazy and didn't take the 2 minutes it would have taken to understand how things work, and move on.
Extra asshole points for actually starting a poll about the apology.  The audacity.

the member you guys are supporting is a scam himself - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1327019.0
You're not pointing out anything we don't know, dude.  And I'm only indirectly supporting him.  I was mainly addressing your inflated sense of entitlement and laziness and shitty command of the English language, which I love so much that I detest when individuals--such as yourself--murder it.

I believe you are from a English speaking country so you write good English but you have to keep in mind that there are many other peoples from many non-English speaking country. So it is not right to post anything about our English
OK, you're an idiot in every language you could possibly speak or write.  Does that sound less prejudiced?
15871  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Guide] How to rank up your account without spamming. on: February 06, 2016, 10:44:18 PM
I know one person here who are spamming in every thread, and trolling users with stupid answers and questions. Making new Post with stupid non-crypta themes or posting pictures. Some times all page is full of only her posts! And what we can do with such users? nothing  Embarrassed
Use the report to moderator feature, lower right corner of the post  Roll Eyes
Yes I know about this features, I do it only when it is critical. But what it will change? What kind of punishment they will receive?
Well for one, their post will be deleted(if it breaks any of the rules) and if they continue doing it, either a (3-60 days) temporary ban will be given or they will be nuked(all of their posts deleted+permaban) or they will be permabanned
WOW, I dont know that here is so rough rules! now I will keep on eye on this person. Because his spamming beyond common sense!
With all due respect, read the rules and you'll know how strict they are.
15872  Other / Meta / Re: theymos is gonna kill me! on: February 06, 2016, 10:36:36 PM
After many difficult calculations I got the formula. Poor english + ''Sir'' = Scammer
That is definitely wrong. This place is a collection of various people and personalities. You can encounter very interesting and amazing people that are completely different; the same principle applies to scammers. There is going to be a lot of people with various characters that are going to (try and) scam.
It is a melting pot for better or worse, but people who don't speak English well seem to absolutely love to scam people who do speak it well.  I think it's a valid generalization.
15873  Economy / Speculation / Re: Returning to gold standard? on: February 06, 2016, 10:29:47 PM
Maybe silver and gold coins can do better job than paper?
I also like this idea returning to gold coins..
All Precious metals can be involved.

Unless they made the value of gold coins very, very high, they would not circulate.  For example, were I running the monetary system of the USA, I might make a gold coin the size of the old (pre-1933) $10 gold piece (0.48 oz of actual gold, and some copper to harden the coin) worth, say, $1000 (vs. actual gold value of about $575 or so).

A silver coin the size of a US quarter I would have it worth some $15 perhaps.  Or make it a little smaller and stamp "$10" on it.

Even doing the above (fiat value WAY above metal value) might still not be enough to prevent hoarding of such coins ("Gresham's Law": bad money chases out the good).

So, IMO, best not to use gold as "money".  Silver might work better as a "Monetary Metal".
And how would this help anything?  We've already come off a precious metal standard and we've already been in a position where Gresham's Law has been violated.  It isn't going to happen.  We are moving so far away from a gold standard it's not even funny.  Look at the success of bitcoin, which is backed by nothing and need not be backed by anything.  We don't need money to be backed by metal.

Well I don't know what to tell you, this is how a lot of us act with noobs who ask for loans around here.  Expect brutal honesty and stick-poking.  Also expect to not get whatever amount of bitcoin you were looking for.  Go find another sandbox to play in if you don't like the kids here, and stop crying about it.
15877  Economy / Reputation / Re: this mothrfuckr Dorrittulx should apologize on: February 06, 2016, 09:36:42 PM
No, he doesn't need to apologize.  Your thread looks like every scam we see here on bitcointalk, plus you write like a fucking moron.  Don't expect to get to get any negative trust removed either.  That's what you get for not reading the stickies at the beginning of the lending section.
15878  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do with ill-gotten Bitcoin? on: February 06, 2016, 09:29:06 PM
Nearly impossible, but you can have some one you closely trust convert your coins into cash or whatever you want. You can also convert them into a solid altcoin and slowly sell everything in other exchanges for BTC and then mix them, and no one will know your coins are marked.
It's not nearly impossible at all.  Local meetup is one way, for straight-up cash.  The buyer doesn't have to know the provenance of the coins beforehand nor your identity.  Mixing the coins is another way as mentioned.  And you could probably buy gold/silver online without having to provide your real identity since you're not using a CC.  But you'd be giving the seller your address.  Even then, you could get around that--if you were motivated enough to do so, there are plenty of ways.
15879  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You know, I've noticed Bitcoin has become the butt of a lot of jokes lately. on: February 06, 2016, 09:22:03 PM
Well if you're so over it then why post a new topic about it, codishmumu, Gr33k?  Don't you have an engagement--sorry, legal slavery--to be involved in, and real life?  I thought you gave up trolling this forum because you were so busy.

You've probably been the butt of jokes yourself and that's why you're feeling so sensitive, so I would suggest that you just roll with it.  Bitcoin has a thicker skin than you think, so let the haters hate.
15880  Economy / Speculation / Re: Returning to gold standard? on: February 06, 2016, 09:15:02 PM

Because the current system has worked out so well lol.
And the gold standard has worked out so well, too.

How much gold do you think there is in the ground and out of the ground.  If the population continues to rise, can the world sustain a gold standard?  I think not.
