OP, you're more senior than I am by far so I don't think I can tell you anything you don't know. You know feedback can only be removed by whoever posts it, and retaliatory feedback often will just stay there. It's unfortunate. If you look at my feedback, all of the negatives are from assholes who didn't like something I said, usually when they're called out on some BS. There are no references and it sounds like stuff you'd see written in a Sharpie on a bathroom stall. This is a huge part of the trust system here that I can't stand, and I'm sure you can see why.

I can't believe there are people who believe this. Capricoin is a pump and dump with slightly more than 300k coin supply. Now the price has fallen from $2 at the peak to $1.35 so this bubble is going to burst soon.
Anything other than bitcoin, litecoin, doge, dash, and a few others are complete scams and are exactly what you said, which is pump and dumpers. Their user base is a bunch of dribbling suckers looking for easy profit. They are shitcoins and this one is a shitcoin as well.

Oh I would totally hit the one on the right. Looks crazy as fuck.

Most people just like hearing themselves talk, and this has been known for as least as long as people have been speaking.
But I concede that the internet has made me stupid as all hell. My attention span has been constricted to milliseconds. Bye.

I am newbie i hope get more news from here. So what i have to do? ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) Nice post man. I am reading this thread ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) ^^^^^Dizz-erp. You know, people need to read more and write less in general. Probably myself included but I'm on a schedule. Now OP, get your ass to the beginners section and read as much as you can. You'll quickly discover that this forum is a breeding ground for psychopaths and scammers of all sorts. 64% of them probably should be incarcerated and my guess is a higher percentage have been incarcerated at some point. Don't trust anyone. Look to your left and your right, and one of the guys standing next to you is going to try to scam you. Don't deal with newbies. Always use escrow. Find out what escrow is and who does it around here. You get people who think their sock puppet account can act as an independent 3rd party in what is known on bitcointalk as "self-escrow". Do not fall for such bullshit. Good luck and see you in hell.

^^Don't listen to this dong eater. MMM is a fucking scam. OP, do a little reading in the services section and you might find an opportunity or two but in general this isn't the unemployment office where there are zillions of job postings. There are whole websites devoted to that. In fact you're much better off getting a job that pays fiat and then buying bitcoins with your earnings. Waaaay easier.
This thread's not getting nuked.

OP, the good news is, as the others have said, you can do a chargeback on this scuntass. In fact the very reason that this can happen is why everyone here recommends people not take PayPal for bitcoin unless the person with the PP is trusted. So you have a good shot at getting your money back from this monkeyfucker.
And as the others have said, learn from this. Don't do business with noobs. Always use escrow with people who have no trust and no standing in this community. Good luck, sir.

Yeah I've noticed at least one of them spamming the press section. I'm not so irritated that I report any of these topics, and in fact I think I'm going to put the press section on ignore all together. I never read what's posted there, so why have the feed of new topics?
The fact that they get paid for this sucks. I have signatures turned off so I don't have a clue which ones they're running.

I lived thru Blowjob Bill's presidency, though I can't say I followed his every move or anything like that. I never trusted Hillary. Any woman who would let her man stick his dong in a thing like Monica Lewinsky would not get my vote. That's a marriage of much convenience and it never sat well with me.

For fuck sake, what else is new. I remember the big brouhaha about Salman Rushdie back in the day, and it's just this crazy part of Islam that calls for shit like this. Oh to not have religion do this, and I'm not against Islam in particular. It's all of them.

My man, I don't know anything about mining as far as difficulty, but you ought to mine one of the better altcoins, doge or ltc if possible. All the rest are completely useless unless you're going to slap them onto an exchange and trade them for bitcoin. If that's your goal, go for whatever coin gives you the best bang for your buck. And that's almost impossible to tell unfortunately.

I will be the first to admit that I don't often spend bitcoins like cash--I've come to view cryptocurrency as a speculation tool and as a store of value. But I did buy some precious metals from Provident last year and I do believe the transaction was processed through Bitpay. I'm not 100% sure. It was fairly painless, though for some reason I had to transfer btc to my Xapo wallet, because Mycelium wasn't allowing the bitcoin to be withdrawn.

I've been buying and will keep buying as my horizons are pretty long-term. Though I do hope we get above $400 sometime soon, I'd be OK if the price stagnates for a while. Good sleepin' weather out by the bitcoin shithouse.

Yeah OP, as others have told you we kind of police our own neighborhood here. It's like a neighborhood watch in a community that doesn't have a police department. Almost like an episode of The Walking Dead. We have a fire department and a guy who sells porn, but that's about it. Put up your scam accusation and we have a painter that comes and slaps on a coat of red. Tues & Thursdays on the nose.

A return to a gold standard is completely unnecessary. Money doesn't need to be backed by anything, it never did, and it's not likely that we're going to return to that sort of archaic thinking. I do like precious metals in spite of this and I think they're a good way to store value.

OP would have to find some other outlet for trolling, but other than that the world would continue to spin on its axis and we'd survive. Information flow would be a lot slower, that's one of the big differences between today and the pre-internet world. It's so easy to get information about anything, and it's one of the things I love about the internet.

Good deal, OP. I bought in for many of the same reasons, plus I enjoy the roller coaster ride that is bitcoin. I don't think we'll see economic disaster like that which has been predicted by the silver/gold hypers within our lifetimes but who knows.
|
|
|
I suspect you're right, but one never knows about unforseen events, does one? And what I mean by that is that something could come along and blow bitcoin out of the water, or we could lose the need for it entirely, e.g., Armageddon. A lot of things could happen. But barring all that crap, yes I agree, bitcoin probably won't die within our lifetimes. As long as there's gamblers and dark markets bitcoin will thrive.

It's all I hear on a good part of this forum is Etherium. I supposed I ought to look into it, eh? Is this supposed to be like the #2 altcoin or something?
Also, just because it's a pump and dump, doesn't mean it's a scam necessarily. Well, it does if you've been lied to on the pump and I guess that's what usually happens right?
|
|

It's the end of the world, and this is why bitcoin and the altcoins are going to be useful. You'll see. It's not just Germany.
