What do you think about CashBet guys? The public sale will start soon. Check out: https://coin.cashbet.com/

Not impressed with it, seems a little too bold and sure of itself for my liking.

In February, the investment in ico was in loss. I have lost huge amount of the capital of my investment in ico. I feel very sad, because I have lost a lot of money in this market.

Sorry to read about your loss. It is not easy to part with money, you do it in good faith but in the end if scammers are determined to fool people with good looking websites and whitepapers they will do it.

As for genuine ICOs they do not guarantee returns on investment. Many people lost money in ICOs but the projects are still very active and working but investors got nothing or very little in return.
15963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO 2018 on: March 25, 2018, 06:11:38 PM
All ICOs have slogans trying to show they are different to the rest. I am bored of the hype and BS surrounding ICOs now. Regulation will only make it safer because scammers have ruined the whole process.

great project ,reserve coin

Which coin are you reserving? There is no "coin" here but they are looking for investment via their website.

Rocket ICO is now a running project. It did not reach hard cap but has a sufficient number of investors, many rounds to go an a good community,

Some good, some scam... very hard to decide which are not scams. Investors have a difficult job deciding where to invest.
15966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Populate Ethereum Addresses to MySQL Database? on: March 25, 2018, 03:43:18 PM
Any idea on how to do this would be appreciated

Why do you need the entire ethereum blockchain to do this ?
You only need to generate a private/public key and store them, like using this method Generating a usable Ethereum wallet and its corresponding keys.

Thank you but I already found that post on the net and read it last night but am open to finding any other solutions before I start exploring a way to do it
15967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Populate Ethereum Addresses to MySQL Database? on: March 25, 2018, 03:41:45 PM
I have never used Ethereum before but will use Ubuntu or AWS AMI to install it and sync the blockchain.

After that I want to generate addresses and populate those addresses in a MySQL database which will be linked to an ecommerce site for customers to use at checkout.

I have successfully achieved this process with Bitcoin and now want to do it with Ethereum.

I do not want anything to do with ETH contracts, I just want a new addresses to be displayed when the customer reaches checkout.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Easier what you can do if you will be just requesting payments is to use BIP39. What it does is that you will have a sequence from which you should be able to easily generate new addresses without the need of your private keys, there are libraries for this. So at the end of the day you will use some API like from etherscan and see the balance and you don't put private keys on your server and thus you don't expose them at all, even you won't need to have blockchain synced.

But if you still want to have full blockchain and do this, then you will have to create RPC and connect to your wallet through RPC with some programming language (can be what you want python, php....) that will take addresses and put them into table in SQL

Thank you but do you have any links I can browse examples of what you mentioned?

"Almody" is one of your participants and a few posts back he seems oblivious to what you wrote because he wanted his bounty so you saying participants are okay with it does not seem appropriate. By your own statement you prefer to have 100% bounty people hanging on waiting when you could have had 50% of them paid by selecting the most active and beneficial to Bitmora and kept a delay on the other 50% therefore only half of the people expecting bounties would have been waiting, but you prefer to keep all of them waiting because you do not want those that will wait a little longer to be upset that they were paid in the second batch. Serious? That is a huge flaw in your thinking.

You had a great chance to make to something of this project based on trust but for now it is lost to many participants. I hope you have a successful launch and get off to a good start and people start believing in your project again otherwise it will not last long.

Sorry but I do not agree with what you have put forward. Not impressed at all with the reasons given for delaying bounty payouts and to top it off certainly not impressed as to what will happen if those bounties will be used in future to pay for legal fees.

If bounties add up to be $50,000 and you want to hold that money just because legal issues might arise in the future in the run up to launch and you might have to spend that money on lawyer fees then it has to be said if all businesses did that then there would be no trust around. Your terms and conditions should have made all that clear with various scenarios and possibilities before people signed up.

This very sad and bad news has seriously dented the trust element of your brand name (Bitmora)
15971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Installing RIPPLED SERVER on Ubuntu Digital Ocean on: March 24, 2018, 08:15:56 PM
I found that these minimum requirements:
Installing rippled
Disk: Minimum 50GB SSD recommended (1000 IOPS, more is better) for the database partition

https://ripple.com/build/rippled-setup/#minimum-system-requirements

I read that too but I also read the part it states about server load and not having a blockchain to download. I think 50GB is too much for a small operation such as mine.
15972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO 2018 on: March 24, 2018, 07:45:40 PM
Some ICOs have no 'about us' or 'the team' sections on their website because one of the advantages of ICOs is that you are not dealing with FIAT therefore you as a company raising funds can try to keep as anonymous and low key as your investors but that also makes problems as secrecy does not make investors happy

It seems a tiny hard drive will do: "Ripple has no block chain download, clients are ready in seconds"
15974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Installing RIPPLED SERVER on Ubuntu Digital Ocean on: March 24, 2018, 04:23:05 PM
Does anybody have an idea of the size of hard drive required to run a Rippled Server?

I am testing some software where customers pay checkout using XRP so want to run Ripple on a server and use that server to confirm payments have been made and to generate new unique addresses at checkout.

Any tips?

Now it is best to make a short pause when investing in ICO. The market is very unstable. If you still want to do this, then you must be sure of the project by 100% And you should have an understanding that you will have to wait for profits a year or more.

I completely agree with this comment. The investor must be prepared to wait a long time for any profit IF the ICO is not a scam and even then there is no guarantee investors will get anything back

If you were promised bounty payments in ETH then surely that means a lot of investment from people buying shares in Bitmora.

How did the sharing of bounty work? How much were you promised? How was it calculated?

Seems a huge bold step Bitmora offering to pay ETH bounties without even having proper secure investment
15977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [EXCHANGE] Bitmora - Digital Asset Exchange in Development on: March 23, 2018, 07:41:32 PM
Hey guys, almost 2 month have been pasted since the bounty campaign is over and Bitmora team still finalizing the rewards results , is it normal? I asked them about it and got no answer at all! It was my first campaign that's why i'm asking!

Got to say that is a long time. I was part of the bounty so have no idea about what was on offer.

What are you expecting to receive? Since Bitmora has no token or coin of its own what did they offer you?
15978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO 2018 on: March 23, 2018, 07:39:14 PM
The main advantage is that the token will be released to the exchange, after which you will be able to sell it by making a profit.

The thing is no profit is guaranteed. No way of knowing if the project is controlled by scammers so token or ico or equity only gives returns if project is not a scam and is profitable.

Too many scammers out there
15979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO 2018 on: March 23, 2018, 02:00:15 PM
Direct invest for equity is better than ICO because ICOs and the way most companies organise tokens and token buy back it is clear there is noi chance of getting your money back.

There are no guarantees with equity investments either but seems more safe for the time being.
