Everyone tweet btc38 we need new money flowing in!
this. dogecoin/dogeparty could have the edge over viacoin/clearinghouse due to the simple fact that china has access to dogecoin but not to viacoin. i think dogeparty is really underrated. Doge anything is retarded. VIA is on another level. say what you want, but.. and doge is not the enemy.

wendell, please improve both communications and effort to educate the people, especially the dogecoin community. a whitepaper, faqs, write ups and videos would help a ton.
i noticed most in the dogecoin community don't really know anything about dogeparty. time to change that.

Trading is not enabled on Dogeparty anyway until burning period is over.
Cool, so trading is gonna be implemented pretty soon? Looking forward to it.. It was odd to see DOGE jump all of the sudden, likely part of a new pump scheme. then whoever is pumping doge must have a lot of btc and fiat. do you see how much volume it has at cryptsy? it's thick.

project needs more love. bump.

Looking for the coin that will have high correlation for going up when Bitcoin goes down, and why.
very good question. reading the arguments and debates from different forums, i was almost convinced that btc will slowly fade away from the scene. but then if you really think about it, which crypto will be able to replace it? none, really. btc will be around for a very very long time.

Dev is still here so don't worry guys.Anything is possible!
just wondering.. who are the people behind this project?
|
|
|
this coin dead yet?
i know you're trolling but the next few months will be critical. if the gb team wants to continue development for years and years to come they should at least get some VC funding to use for their cash flow. in any company, no cash flow = dead.

this project needs some serious marketing to do.

you seriously think VIA won't reach 60k again? In the long-term, that's an extremely conservative valuation… I see VIA as top 3 coins eventually, anywhere between .001-.003 is realistic
Via's market value should at least be at par with Counterparty since at this point, Clearinghouse is ALMOST identical to XCP (bugs being worked on independently by their respective coin devs). Here's an ultra-conservative estimate of the value of Viacoin: $6M/12,584BTC marketcap (XCP is $6.3M) divided by 11,029,135 coins = 0.00114097 btc per ViaAll eyes are monitoring the developments. You can confirm this by lurking around some circles (traders/media/coin forums). The "Smart Money" always buy before everybody else and sells when it gets popular (attention by big media outfits, many tweets, Max Keiser, etc). Until the days when Via reaches its all-time high, all trade tricks known to mankind will be used to push the price down while there's still time. Who doesn't want cheap via? Major whales will keep quiet until they are finished buying. This phase right now reminds me of Blackcoin when it was hovering between 3k - 6k satoshis. Now, I also have an optimistic evaluation. agreed. why don't more investors see this? I'd like to see VIA in top 10 coins, it's currently #22: http://coinmarketcap.combecause the market that could bring viacoin to the top 10 has no access to it: china. again, via/cny needs to be listed at btc38. it's pretty clear btc38 has users loaded with cny. check out bc/cny, the volume is getting thicker and thicker: http://www.btc38.com/trade_en.html?btc38_trade_coin_name=bci am pretty sure the chinese will love viacoin and would happily invest in the project.

rafi,
it wouldn't be a bad idea. it would also be good to make it a community effort. just post how we can help.

wow. didn't expect the crypto industry in china to have such pretty women! wtg guys!

atomic, as in atomic cross chaining between coins?

this is a small but promising project that needs support from you. and one way of supporting it is buying and holding 5 dollars worth of GB.
that's all it takes.

i think it might be a good idea for the viacoin team to talk to btc38 and get a via/cny pair listed over there. it would make it easier for china to get into viacoin. again, check out doge, btsx and bc. all the drivers of their rise are from CNY not BTC: http://www.btc38.com/trade_en.html?btc38_trade_coin_name=btcagain, remember, it was china that got BTC to go over 1000 USD. with a low steady price but backed by high volume, this would become an ideal coin to hold for the longterm.

waiting for this to have volume of over 1m usd at coinmarketcap.com.

price is going too down! what do you think?
get out for now. too low to leave Then baghold and wait, or add to your position with small buys (if you believe in a long term increase in GB)... no matter what you'll likely get a nice short-term pump (then probably drop) when new MintPal rolls out. Then pick up a little cheaper when you see a bottom forming - and rinse and repeat until shiny. With almost any coin that I'm not 100% convinced is a total scam... I just determine the amount I'm willing to risk on it, divide that amount by 10, and then buy that amount every 2-3 days. If the price seems stable I just buy at the same time to cost-average... if the price is volatile, I just make sure that I'm NEVER buying on a green candle ( especially a large one) and then don't even pay attention to the price until there's at least 100% gains posted. Then unravel my investment in the same way... figure out how much I want to cash out... divide by 10... and then ALWAYS sell on a green candle ( especially a large one). you want btc38, not mintpal.

Interesting discussion. The spot-on "cargo cult coin" critique is devastating to the dev-update-hype driven coins like CLOAK/DARK/XC/BLACK/BTCD/etc. About Frozencoins, can the same technique be applied incrementally/partially to provide for per-address withdrawal limits? Withdrawal limits, as implemented by XCN, allow for the 'Holy Grail' functionality of trustless and secure zero-confirmation transactions. It would be great for VIA to copy that killer application, to the extent possible without an account tree and unmalleable tx. in the case of blackcoin, i dont think its all hype. they are creating good stuff over there in bithalo, blackhalo and nightrader. and they got invited in china for the okcoin/huobi conference. so prolly china is interested in their tech.
