161  Economy / Securities / Re: Mining Bonds, Stocks For People Who Can't Do Basic Maths. on: June 23, 2013, 05:41:06 AM
Funny enough some of these PMB's are still highly profitable (40%+ APR) in the meantime, but if the price crashes prematurely then it's hopeless. That could be due to BTC crashing, or posts like this.. but once it does, it's a fight to see who can get out with that profit (most wont because most panic and don't wait it out to sell back at their initial cost).

I got my refund from Metabank. Takes a while, but it's legit. Cheers for these guys!

Can't wait to see the Bitfury's running Smiley

Why would anybody invest in an security by furuknap? There's something very wrong with the logical part of his brain.

Those who trade on bitfunder, check your accounts and report here.  Two people are reporting missing coins/shares.

Seems like a smeer campaign by a multi-accounter, maybe trying to incite something.

167  Economy / Securities / Re: S.MG - The Ministry of Games. on: June 21, 2013, 07:39:56 AM
There is already a well-funded group developing proprietary gateway software to integrate a BTC economy into several major game platforms. If you are still at the stage of raising capital you have probably already missed the boat. It should have been obvious for at least a year that BTC is ideally suited to replace in-game currencies, especially if you want to migrate assets between platforms. The only sticking point has been the resistance to abandoning control of the value of current proprietary game currencies for a self-regulating one. But that resistance is beginning to crumble as the benefits begin to make themselves apparent. They are doing quite a bit behind the scenes on this, and whether they are successful will be for the future to determine. Please take this with a grain of salt, I can offer no proof, so just consider it a random rumor, and just another datapoint.

I am under NDA to really say anything else, so don't ask.
Being first in the field doesn't matter as much as doing things right.

Being first to publish and getting it at least half-right does.
168  Economy / Securities / Re: BitFury got his ASICs working. Which securities are getting them? on: June 21, 2013, 07:07:16 AM
100TH on Picostocks will be the first
169  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: June 21, 2013, 06:38:15 AM
Screw the 6 confirmations...................

it's like a horse race, waiting for the coins to come through before everyone elses ;p

BTCTC only requires 3 confirmations  Grin

BTCTC got the higher prices  Grin

Bitfunder fee is 1%, BTCT is like 0.25% and Havelock is 0.4% but it was higher.

Did you use 2FA?

In most cases, if your account transferred shares, then they are transferred.
If you have 2fa enabled, then things are looked at more closely.

I will be added 2fa support for transfers as well soon, however if someone can 2fa login to your account, then they can 2fa transfer shares from it.

If you have not yet gotten a reply, more than likely it is still under investigation, and you may get a positive result rather than a quick "Sorry, there is not much we can do." type response.

-Ukyo

Yah that would be good Ukyo. Seriously, 2FA/email confirmations on transfers, transactions, withdrawals should be added. I like Bitstamp's system.

PS. read-only API keys please and thank you Smiley

Price has hardly moved. Is everyone in bed or waiting for confirms? Smiley

It moved, trust me. The asks were at around 2.88 and now they are 2.99 and that is propagating around all the different exchanges and PTs. The bids are going up, but few are selling into them, so I had to buyout Sad

There's basically nothing between us and 3.2 on BTCT.

Update

The chips of the second batch will be ready in smaller packages during this week and the next one. We are preparing for the (larger) mass production of USB devices and blades, as well as necessary wholesale price adjustments.

The hashrate drop this week was caused by an internal troubleshooting which took about 10h, followed by a series of bad luck (which happened to involve the whole network).

Thanks for the update Friedcat!

Friedcat is such a boss!

and he weeded out some of the panic sellers by not responding during their insecurity with his leadership, technically. Yes transparency can be nice, but if you go through the history, you don't really need to question The Friedcat.

Wow... Bitfury!

I don't know you from Adam, but I must say I am impressed.

It seems integrity is in short supply in this forum, but you appear to have a surplus.

Godspeed good sir.

Amazing Bitfury!

Congratulations and thanks for holding your word!

Much respect.

Any thoughts as to why it started dropping at the moment BTCGuild mining went to zero?

I have thoughts relating to timing, but am turning over a new leaf and won't air them here.

It's a struggle for me so I've come up with a daily affirmation:

It is for me to decide which companies to invest in.  It is for those that run them to decide how to do so.  Friedcat has proven himself to be above suspicion so I will choose to trust in his ability to safeguard my investment.  And darnit, I'm a good person.

Good dhenson, good Smiley

Is that first gauge only reflective of the last 24 hours or what??  It still only shows 20TH/s.

Yah, why is your graph so different Pierre?

.0181/share Huh

yuk!

cue the massive sell off...

Oh my God. You get these awesome dividends and you're unhappy?

Seriously, even 0.0181 is pretty damn good. And it barely lowers the average. 'Dese people. Roll Eyes
