161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: AMD Ryzen hashrate? on: October 20, 2019, 05:05:37 AM
Just upgraded a Ryzen 7 1700 to a Ryzen 9 3900X.

What a beast. Cryptonight R went from 480-490 H/s to 1500 H/s.

It definitely is. Wait for the November algorithm change and see this beast mining XMR like crazy.
I am still rocking R7 1700 and Vega 56 in my workstation rig.
Vega 56 does 2100 H/s with SBR miner and Ryzen 7 does 510 H/s (3.85 GHz OC - all cores @1.23v)
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v15.0 (Windows/Linux) on: October 18, 2019, 03:39:15 PM
It was already set to IGFX. I'm consistently getting the " Miner failed to initialize. need to restart." I'm running Windows 10, fully updated, but so are my other machines.

People who faced this issue narrowed it down to the Windows update and Integrated graphics. As you have alright tried uninstalling integrated graphics and it didn't work.
I'll suggest to roll back any Windows update you've done recently or perform a fresh installation of Windows.
If going with the second option, try Windows 10 LTSC variant.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ZEC] ZCASH - All coins are created equal. Discussion Thread (Unofficial) on: October 18, 2019, 03:29:00 AM
hey! i didn't follow this project for a long time, i mined it in the early days.. But is it still asic resistant?

Not at all.
ASICs have been available for Zcash for some time now from Bitmain, Innosilicon.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BEAM | Mimblewimble | Private | Scalable | No ICO | No Pre Mine on: October 18, 2019, 03:20:46 AM
After the listing in Binance, BEAM price is already -60% down. That shitty exchange really kills altcoins

Well, the market situation is really bad ATM.
Moreover, each and every coin also suffers from market manipulation, volume faking, etc.
So, keep your hopes up. It'll take time but it will get better.

How much are you expecting for them?
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: October 17, 2019, 07:16:34 PM
Is there any open source pool software for Ethereum Proof-of-Stake? I want try to play with it in testnet

No, there isn't but you can search for rocketpool and use their beta version to check out how it will actually work and the pool implementation of it.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have a $ 500 fund you want to make a profit on: October 17, 2019, 07:09:23 PM
I have $ 500 or more, is that enough to invest or trade daily ??  Do I need to buy cheap coins or expensive coins?  I want your opinion for me as a newbie.

$500 is more than enough funds to get you started.
Before doing any actual trading, it will be a smart choice to do pseudo trading first without using your actual money and credits given by the exchanges.
It can take some time for you to understand the mechanics and analysis of it but once you are confident enough.
You can start with the actual trading and grow your capital from it.
168  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ⚠️ Warning: About Apple Mac Hack on: October 17, 2019, 07:04:26 PM
I don’t know how to get to the hack. Now the antivirus can see almost all viruses.

Not at all true.
To be honest, Antivirus is not the perfect solution to protect yourself from malicious programs. It is a good and essential one but not perfect.
There are so many breaches every day in important systems even if they are using antivirus software.
The virus can come in any package and execute itself while the system load is low and by using cryptography and steganography they hide the program in plain sight while changing their checksum which makes it harder to detect.

grazie mille per aiuto, sono riuscito ad ottenere stabile a 1100, 810 mv 2050, 820 mv -> 29,5 mh/s @ 78 watt

but for now I prefer this configuration:

Thanks again

You're welcome. Anyway, you are using -rxboost parameter in the claymore bat file. Right?
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: AMD Mem Tweak XL - Read/modify timings/pp/straps on the fly on: October 17, 2019, 06:48:38 PM
1) OK. Thanx. I got 2 rigs at 6 cards each, all cards have same problem. My cards stable at default timings at 950Mhz Memory only and give 38Mh ETH. Overclock 1000Mhz Mem at default timings and system hangs  in ETH mining. weak or conceal timings at 950Mhz Memory and system hangs in ETH mining.  in CNR-mining everything is OK.
2) Nobody has the same cards here in ETH mining with memory tweak?

You are not using any parameters in the claymore bat file for straps. Are you?
I have Sapphire RX Vega 56 (Flashed to 64 bios) with weak timings and 16*16:AAA gets me around 2150 H/s in CRv8 and 42-43 MH/s in ETH. (1100MHz mem)
Didn't face any issue like this but it seems that 38 MH/s is right for 950MHz mem.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MONERO adopts a new POW Algorithm to fight ASIC on: October 17, 2019, 02:39:29 PM
The thing is there is no way to stop ASICs or FPGA in this case. Period.
After an algo change, the FPGA programmers start working to make it run under the new algo and if they succeed, they will start mining silently.
If FGPA is successful, then big companies like Bitmain or Innosilicon have so much capital that they can manufacture large scale ASICs for it.
I believe in time, ASICs can be manufactured for any algo and the only way to tackle this is to cycle a change of algo in a specific period of time.
Similar to what Monero is doing and believe me, there are doing one great of a job.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to build windows version of p2pool under windows 10? on: October 17, 2019, 02:30:18 PM
First of all, run a local bitcoind ( Bitcoin daemon) and let it sync fully.
Alternatively, you can use a snapshot of BTC blockchain and use it to sync it faster.

Then just follow the requirements for the readme.md in the GitHub. (https://github.com/p2pool/p2pool)
Also, check here for further instructions: http://p2pool.in/#getting-started

Follow the process and if you face any issue.
Let us know the error and where did it happen.
173  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Visiting Istanbul? Cash out your bitcoin in Istanbul on: October 16, 2019, 11:14:09 AM
Metting a random person from the internet for trading Bitcoins in a foreign country is a really stupid idea and the worst way to go.
Better to use localbitcoins website and trade with verified people.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GMiner v1.69 Equihash(BEAM, BTG, YCASH)/CuckooCycle(AE, SWAP, GRIN, BFC) on: October 16, 2019, 11:01:30 AM
Hello.
I have e AMD R9 290x. It is one of the hottest VGA. But GMiner have temp limit of 90C. The VGA car mine with 94C. My question is how to change temp limit settings on GMiner and make the card start mining? I started it but after 1 minute the card reach temp limit of 90C and miner stop mining... Thank you.

90C is extremely hot and if you get these temps in just a minute of mining then I will advise you to change the thermal paste of the card and see if the fans are working properly and at rated fan speeds.
Even though VGA can mine with 94C, it is not at all good for the longevity of the card.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best CPU Mineable Coins in 2019 and CPU Mining Guides [UPDATED!] on: October 16, 2019, 10:58:16 AM
guys, what sites are you using for check the best profit?
I used profitbot pro, but the owner close website, now i'm check the cryptunit but i need more coins to compare.

You can check https://www.whattomine.com/calculators and find out the coins which are CPU mineable and see which will provide the best profitability.
Anyway, wait a month as everyone is going to jump the wagon with RandomX and XMR mining using CPUs.

somtimes after 21h

i dont know how i can solve this problem !

This is the website: https://www.zigminer.com/
Right?
It loaded fine through my computer. Anyway, the emails available on the website:

177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [GUIDE][TUTORIAL][XMR,ETH]How To Mod Bios RX470/570/480/580 VEGA Mining 💰⛏ on: October 15, 2019, 09:15:01 PM
I played a bit with memory and clock times, under 825mv it becomes unstable and crashes.
if I lower mclock at 2100 I lose almost 2 mh/s, and I don't gain much power.

Try reducing the core clock to 1100mhz, then reduce core voltage to 825mv and check.
Try it with one card at a time. If it works, then with the second one.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v15.0 (Windows/Linux) on: October 15, 2019, 09:11:47 PM
today I have bought nvidia GTX 1650 4GB ram
I have installed windows 10 and latest nvidia driver.
But when I run miner I get this, any idea how to solve this?

This PC -> Right-click -> Properties -> Advance system settings -> Click settings under performance -> Advance -> Click change under virtual memory -> custom size -> set to 16000 MBs.

Then try again.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Looking To Monetize My Software With Crypto Mining on: October 15, 2019, 09:07:32 PM
It's true that mining XMR won't yield much now but the upcoming algo change for XMR to RandomX will make CPU mining viable again.

If the transition works out well and good, a simple i3 processor may yield 10-15 cents per day.

So, if your goal is to generate around $1 per user from your software. You can implement a point-based system and ask users to contribute that amount of points to reach $1 and provide the software AD free per month.

Thus, the user gets AD free, original software and you can generate $$ for your upkeep and service.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How update dayun zig z1 pro 13gh on: October 15, 2019, 08:59:38 PM
It's better if you can contact the manufacturer itself and ask about the process of updating the software.

A google search regarding this provided with a lot of results from third-party ASIC resellers and their process and firmware to update.
I will advise not to install any of that firmware as there is a high probability that the firmware is not original and may contain malicious code.
