Something you have to know to choose the right ICO:
1. Know the people/team behind them
2. Go for disruptive concepts
The product or service they offer must address a real need area and use revolutionary solutions. Look for concepts that truly seek to disrupt the status quo of a particular industry by leveraging the strengths of blockchain.
3. Understand the target market
It is important to put the company, their technology, and product or service in the context of their target market. They will inevitably be subjected to the market and regulatory pressures of their target industries, so knowing the environment should give you an idea of what challenges and opportunities these ventures face.
4. Evaluate the technology
One can also evaluate the viability of a venture through its proof of concept. Ventures with proofs of concept and pilot case studies are often safer bets. ICOs that offer nothing more than an idea bear significant risk compared to ventures that have proofs of concept already available for evaluation and testing.
5. Nitpick the white paper
A white paper serves as the company’s pitch to potential investors. As such, it should be well-written and substantial enough to provide compelling arguments on why people should trust the venture with their investments. Nitpicking the white paper could prove useful in revealing the details of how their solutions work and what need areas they will be addressing.
6. Know what the coins are for
Integral to ICOs are the coins or tokens themselves. Aside from functioning as the form of security (similar to stocks in traditional investments or initial public offerings), these coins often have other functions with the platform or ecosystem.
Keep in mind that not all commodities (digital and real) may be ready to be tokenized and traded digitally like bitcoin. If the market isn’t ready, it will ultimately affect the venture and the value of their token.

There're some important questions to ask about an ICO project before you decide to invest or not:
1. Who is on the team, what are their backgrounds & credentials, and do they have any public track records?
2. What purpose does the blockchain have in your project? Is project service already offered by a centralized entity?
3. What milestones do you have in place? How will you let investors know when said milestones are achieved?
4. Does project ICO fall within SEC jurisdiction? Are you SEC compliant?
5. What is project Fiscal Policy? Instamines, premines, buying, spending, icing, discounting, and/or burning any tokens?

Will XRP Fiat pairings decrease BTC correlations?
Recently, it was announced that India based Koinex becomes first exchange in the world to start XRP Pairs. Japan Base SBI also is likely to start XRP based pairings as well as fiat based XRP pairs. Now the question arises whether such moves are likely to decrease correlations over time with numero uno Bitcoin.
Now let's look at why most cryptos are corelated with Bitcoin. Because simply, most cryptos are available largely as BTC pairs. Very few are available as pure fiat pairs. That’s also the case with XRP as well as ETH. Since these are paired with BTC, they are correlated to some extent with Bitcoin prices. Not to say that this correlation is always maintained over time. From time to time, this correlation breaks down especially when an altcoin outperforms Bitcoin
Now if XRP Fiat pairings increase more than corresponding BTC pairings, over time people will transact more and more in fiat for purchasing and selling XRP. That will result in the price movement of XRP acting relatively independent to price movement of Bitcoin. However the correlation structure will still exist to some extent irrespective of that since Bitcoin is still the Big Daddy and will remain so for the foreseeable future!

Check Out These Bullish Fractals of SPR!! Back in early November of last year, when I had recommended Spread Coin (SPR) at $0.18; I caught alot of jabs from trolls and haters jeering at how I'm hurting others by recommending such a shitcoin. In my 20 years of Technical Analysis experience; one of the greatest lessons learned was to always think on my own. SPR went on to tag $3.78 or 1,786% profit!! I actively avoid reading others' technical analysis not because they are not good enough, but only because I don't want my perceptions to be influenced. I'm only human and so not perusing others' analysis allows me to be silo'd to only generate my own analysis with zero outside influence. Analogous fractals can be very powerful so learning how to identify them and utilize their pattern guidance can help you land at more profitable footings. The below chart shows the white box fractal with a distinct ABC correction and a rounded price formation. The same can be seen for the blue box; up until the point of the near completion of the rounded formation. The "Your Are Here" markings show a very high degree of similarity between the fractals!  I've filled in the rest of the blue fractal and it looks very bullish! IF correct, a new all time high can be hit! Price will clearly run up in an impulse motive (blue waves). The MACD also parallel well the fractals and thus an upside should occur very soon!  It's just my opinion, what do you think? |

IOTA has likely completed an ABC corrective sequence. The trendreversal looks more and more real because the MACD is just about ready to burst and that would support the two rounds of impulse waves up.  The LS, H and RS portions of an Inverted Head & Shoulders seem to be defined. There is a probable chance of a minor dip to complete the Right Shoulder and that would not necessarily disrupt the MACD pattern and once it begins to surge, price will follow as well (white arrow).  |

Does This Fractal Say to BUY ZCL?So, for anyone wanting rush in and buy ZClassic (ZCL/BTC); one might want to take the current fractals into consideration. The below chart shows how the fractal in the white box is complete and the blue box fractal is in the early stages. The "Your are here" marker shows the likely corrleation point.  Given the two repeats of the rounded bottom formation for the white fractal; expecting the same or something similar would be logical. The blue price arrow outlines the probable second rounded price formation and the impulse nature of the likely rise. MACD should also support with a buy signal. So, knowing this, is NOW the time to be taking BUYING or SELLING actions for ZClassic?  Just my opinion, what do you think?

Invest on DASH now, you might get 79% PROFIT soon!!!The below chart shows my analysis of DASH which was posted on April 7th. It postulated that the downward wedge could dip a bit more prior to breaking out. Price at that point was $303. Price went as high as $544 which represents a 79% Profit!!  For DASH, the prospects are quite attractive from a Technical Analysis perspective. It's almost like a lyered cake so, please let me take you through the layers. The below shows an apparent Cup & Handle pattern. The rounded price formation countours can't be missed and give that the handle portion always coincides with a corrective Elliott Wave sequence, the red abc makes sense. This itself is often a wedge or a bull flag; but what's clear is that once the handle portion is complete; a breakout to higher highs is expected. So, this is the first layer.  The second layer is shown by the purple lines. It is a Cup & Handle at a higher degree of trend which encompasses the smaller pattern. The whole thing leads to a consolidation with higher prices but still allows price to churn betweenthe buyers and sellers.  Now, the next layer is the potential Inverted Head & Shoulders (white lines). IF this is correct, then the minimum price run could equate to $1,309 or so. But, given this is the minimum, it'll most likely be overrun. The LS, H, RS are shown in white and the volume thus far confirms. So, it's a three layered cake!  Note: just my opinion

My main focus for the past two weeks was to mitigate the damage I had caused my family. (Currently still trying my best to mitigate it.) Also today I have started a new chapter and have my priorities straighten out.
One major reason I am in the situation that I am in is because I have poorly managed my time with work, family, and hobbies. I consider crypto as a hobby because to me it is fun to learn about new crypto technologies and coins/tokens. Even though I enjoy crypto I need to learn to take it in modernization.
Life can not just be about crypto because I have a family to care for and a job that is totally unrelated to crypto. So the time allocated free for my own use is minimal and I must spend it wisely.
To some of my dedicated followers are aware I am a lover for passive income investments. As I am switching gears toward moderating my time to crypto I wish to still earn crypto even when I am not fully entrenched. This is what really motivates me to go beyond investing in crypto but also to live a life. It is great to watch my crypto portfolio slowly accrue all the while I am able to spend time with family and focus on work.
So what do I really invest in? I look for cryptos that provide a source of interest or dividend without the need to do much other than owning the coin/token.
Exchange Tokens/Coins with dividends
There are a few trading exchanges that gives dividends in the form of crypto to holders of the exchange's coins. Some well known are COSS, BCO, and Kucoin. Currently I am not in any of these coins as I am not trading at all on exchanges. Trying to avoid doing a laundry list for next year's tax returns. Until I can figure out how much crypto I am able to afford to lose I will not be trading at all.
Yet the potential of earning many cryptos would be to invest in a trading exchange coin. For instance holding Kucoin the owner gets daily portion of the revenue fee through all coins traded on the exchange. This means Kucoin owners would receive various cryptos without having to do anything but own the Kucoin outright and earn daily cryptos.
Mining Contracts
This option in my personal opinion can only be a good passive income only if the contracts are open ended. This means once you buy into the mining contract it will be always earning you crypto until the mining cost outweighs what it can mine. As of now the only open contracts that I know of and reliably are Genesis Mining and ViaBTC.
There is also the potential in mining rigs being a passive income, but I feel it really is not considering one still needs to look at the rigs for maintenance and software updates. Just having it run without care is viable but more likely than not one who has a rig running requires attention.
Proof of Stake Cryptos
A big umbrella of coins can be earned through the ownership of the coin. It can be proof of stake, proof of delegation, and so on where the crypto itself will continue to grow as long as the coin is held. One good example is smartcash where owner of the coin earns more smartcash every month just by holding it in a smartcash wallet. Other examples are Lisk, ARK, and Rise where coin holders can use their coins with proof of delegation by voting for delegates which in turn earns cryptos and share back to its supporters.
The overall idea here is to get entrenched in earning crypto without using much of any effort. The initial up front cost to make a decent return on the passive income options I listed can be minimum or very significant. The greater the initial cost the greater the passive income.

My advise is divide your fund to 3 parts. 1 part for good ICO (check top 10 ICObench). 1 part to hold good traded coin (BCC, ETH, LTC,...). 1 part for trading other coins (ADA, MONA, NXT, EMC2,...)

My favorite exchanges are:
1.Bittrex: easy to use, trusted, buy & sell quickly, easy to register
2.Binance: high volume, alot coins, good analysis tool, good mobiphone interface

The most important thing is you must read the rules carefully. I see alot of people miss out the bounty rules, so they don't get any rewards after the bounty end
