161  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you keep yourself from spending on unimportant things? on: May 15, 2018, 03:36:00 PM
I dont know if it is just me or others also experience it. I always set goals financially, set limits in spending and trying hard to save but most of the time no matter how i tell myself to refrain from spending in unnecessary things whenever i see something i really like even if i dont need it i cant resist buying it that cause me to regret later. Are you familiar with this situation?

If we have a family on our own then normally that will happen not unless we are born with a golden spoon in our mouth. I used to be a happy go lucky person in my younger years but having a child/children on my own changes a lot in general. Before i buy something for myself, my children comes first. So most of the time i ended up with nothing for myself though it is very seldom for us to go to the mall for shopping. Groceries and bills always be our priorities.
162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does positive thinking affect your edge in gambling on: May 15, 2018, 06:16:44 AM
By strong feeling, you mean that you have a strong feeling that you will win the bet?
That's one of the most dangerous things to have, as it will make your self-confident to skyrocket, and it's really dangerous in the gambling section, as it will usually make you to bet on funds that you can't afford to lose and it may cause you to be super greedy.
It doesn't really impact the outcome as it based on true luck, but it's going to affect the level that you control yourself during the gambling experience.

No mate. I think what’s the OP trying to say is that the wisdom of our minds while playing, the harmony of our thoughts and not being destructed by any problems that we have. And i believe that positive thinking can help us to be focused on the that we played so as our stradegy on the game. Though sometimes luck is important also in gambling but it depends in what game. Mostly in table games being strategic is more important than being lucky.
163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Shyness in gambling on: May 15, 2018, 04:02:02 AM
A common scenario for all the newbies in casinos. I personally experienced this thing, I feel like an ignorant guy who just go to casino to make some mess but yeah they actually don't care as long as you have the money to play then they will seat with you. Also some gamblers saw this as an opportunity to fool you and have some money, I encounter this thing before. Well if you are a shy type person, online gambling is way better for you.

I agree with you and i guess it really happens to all newbies. I think it is supposed to be clled as shyness in gambling but instead being ignorant as you what you have said. Because gambling in casinos is a like more different than playing gambling inside your house or your friend’s house. In casino have different rules and different people you will encounter in the table until later on we will get used to it.
164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin can ruin a Country? on: May 15, 2018, 02:24:41 AM
Well, i just thought, if bitcoin become a currency of one Country, maybe it can destroy that country? Think of it, Bitcoins do not have a tax, and tax are used by the government to make that country a good one, without tax, what will be used to spend and make that country a good one?

What do you think?

If the bitcoin will become a currency in a country then definitely the government will do something about it like implementing taxation on every transactions or else they will make bitcoin illegal to use. So how come it can ruin a country? Right now, we could enjoy the benefits of using tax free bitcoins since it is not yet the center of all currency only in cryptocurrency world. Why would think too much for the future and why not just grab and enjoy the opportunity we got from being a bitcoiner at the present?
165  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is it legal to sell bitcoin for cash ? on: May 14, 2018, 11:48:32 PM
I was thinking of selling my bitcoins for cash. Is it perfectly legal to do so ? Amount is close to 3-4K.

Thanks for reading.

In my country, it is not a problem if we convert our bitcoin into cash. But the thing is, there are limits on how much we can be able to convert in a day. Though it doesn’t matter that much anyway because we can do it again in the following days to come. And there is also another option for us, we can do online banking like converting bitcoin to cash directly from our bitcoin wallet and forward it to our bank accounts. Fast and easy.
166  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people think everyone is a scam? on: May 14, 2018, 02:38:53 PM
It seems as though there is a predominant attitude about people trying to do business that most people are scammers. We have run into this time and time again, accusing us of running "dirty" money or stolen goods.
We put ads or offers in various places saying "vetted buyer" and "respected escrow" and still get negative comments from people that don't even want to do business. They would just rather demean and abase and not add any positive thoughts.
I will say that we have had pretty good success in spite of the naysayers. Doing business in this way is new to most people and seems foreign. But we have plodded through and have achieved a success that has proved that not all are wrong.
There are people all over that are looking for honest services, and we have carved a niche for that entity. We know that there are scammers out there, but we are working to elevate us to a position of reknown.
Not all offers are scams!

You cannot blame anyone that are afraid to be scammed but that doesn’t mean that they are accusing all are scammer. We are all here to earn no matter what positions and ranks. Each and everyone are working and trying all the time to give their best on what suppose to be their job and it is a pain in the ass that others are not being paid for the job well done just because of this greedy and selfish scammers.
167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: thinking quiting after lose on gambling. on: May 14, 2018, 12:34:12 PM
Sad to say but that's the number one symptom of an addict.

In my early days after I discovered Bitcoin the first thing that I went through was gambling websites and I got hooked to it but for a free faucets(free satoshis) only then I said to myself that 'I'll play to win' and that made me realize that I must deposit my real money to get big money because I think that my strategy is solid that I could win eventually but as usual I lose just like what happened to you. It's a long story but I think it's pointless to be specific anymore because that days are so stressful.

Yes, you can win in gambling but playing for a long term is not the best choice. Just a piece of advice, you can't beat the system, it's designed for you to lose.

Hahaha absolutely right. Think about it, the creator of the gambling site will not waste their precious time creating when they know that they are not gonna earn from it. And also that is the reason why they gave free faucets for the player to start gambling and be hooked later on. But there are other people like me that consider gambling just for fun so there is nothing much to lose. And anytime i can quit gambling if i want it to or if i am focused to something else.
168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If gambling is illegal in your country, would you still gamble? on: May 14, 2018, 10:33:00 AM
If gambling is illegal in your country, would you still gamble?
I will. It is my money. I earned it with my effort so I don't see any reason why I should be restricted to use it in anyway that I want to. I wouldn't want to get caught doing it tho. But still, there are ways to break the rules without getting caught.

I agree with you mate. Our money then our decision on when and how we want to spent it all. It is like we robbed a bank or stole it from anybody. Gambling can be in our home anyway, so why scared of being caught. Lucky for me that gambling is not an issue in my country though there are few that government doesn’t allow to to happen but still its functional.
169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The consequences of gambling on: May 14, 2018, 12:29:58 AM
You really tried and put on an effort by writing this long thesis about the consequences of gambling, though a simple estimated writing would have made reading it better.
The truth still remains that not every gambler will come across this consequences because some gamblers knows when to gamble at the right time and knows when to stop at the right time. They know how much they are putting in and they know and are very good with their tactics. Those who might encounter these are gamblers who just go into it just because they hard someone made money from it.

True mate. We cannot judge gamblers in general. Not all gamblers are irresponsible of their doings, just like me, yes i gamble but i know my limitations with my vices. I can say that i am the responsible one because I know how to control myself everytime i am setting in the table in every casino or in online games. I know how much i am willing to lose. The gambler’s that what the OP said are those who are addicted to gambling already, addicted to earn fast money and to satisfy themselves from their vices.
170  Economy / Economics / Re: Before I Die... on: May 13, 2018, 10:57:18 AM
Before i die, i will definitely secure my children’s future first and if lucky enough i want to spend much of my time taking care of my grandchildren while their father, my boys are at work. Before i die, i want to have a big amount of investment in bitcoin not for myself but for my family for i know my investment today will be their source for survival someday. Before i die i want to see the world in a brighter ways like there is no poverty, there is peace and no discrimination at all.
171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Caused the Boom in Bitcoin on: May 13, 2018, 09:31:27 AM
I cause for a success of bitcoins is the fact that bitcoin is the very first cryptocurrency that has been introduced to people and being trusteed and patronized by many before altcoins was launched. The demands made the market up to the highest and for that more and more people desired to invest their money and even sold their other properties just to invest in bitcoin. Me aswell are one of those.
172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Secure Bitcoins? on: May 13, 2018, 07:37:42 AM
How to Secure Bitcoins?
Just like how you value your important things, some bitcoin wallet has a private keys, this private keys must kept with safe storage and no one needs to know where it is except you and also the person you trust too like your husband/wife or parents. It is still depend on you if you want to just keep it yourself or tell it also with your partners.

That is what i also did mate except for one thing, i never tell my partner about on where i hid my private keys. Well, well it depends on a relationship anyway. The thing is i don’t trust my partner that much and we are on the rocky side in our relationships maybe that is the most reason why i keep it from her. But my parents knew about it since i don’t want my investment to just turn to waste if something bad will happen to me. But my parents already knew that it goes to my children someday.
173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why gambling is portrayed negatively almost everywhere? on: May 13, 2018, 04:22:11 AM
It's not a negative way of earning , gambling is more like a easy sort of way for making quick cash and the chances of making that is possible but the problem is within the people who use this method , most of them do make profit but because of there greed they continue to gamble and lose it all. This is why many consider it to be negative otherwise there are many ways to make money from gambling

Definitely right mate. Many have understood the existence of gambling when the real purpose of it is to give pleasures and entertainment to people. But because gambling gives us quick money that is why people tend to gamble to gain more without thinking that there is no way to always win in gambling and most of the time gamblers losses. And because they tend to bring back what they’ve lose, it ended up with more losses.
174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much have you won/lost on bitcoin gambling ? on: May 13, 2018, 01:41:17 AM
How much have you won/lost on bitcoin gambling ?
and which sites did you play ?

start with me.. summing up all the wins/lose i did together.
and i lost about $1500 on rollin.io

what about you ?

Normally counting losses happens during our first encounter in gambling but later on we will lost track on how much we’ve won and loss especially when gambling becomes our habit. That is what happened to me but one thing is for sure, everytime i gamble i will never stop until i earned even a small amount though there are also times that the luck is not with me and lose a little.

176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: IS IT THE BEST TIME FOR GAMBLING? on: May 11, 2018, 01:17:44 AM
I think there is no need of any specific time for gambling, because if you have Bitcoin then you can gamble any time you want. It depends on your thought whether Bitcoin price is increasing or decreasing, i hope if you want some relief from stress so better gamble with the Bitcoin you have.

Yes you are right mate. Decreasing and increasing of bitcoin value is irrelevant in gambling. It is us who will decide on our betting so it doesn’t matter if the block market is in red or green. Anyway, we can always keep our winnings and wait for the price of bitcoin to go higher before we converted it into fiat.
177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best wallet for bitcoin? on: May 08, 2018, 01:40:36 PM
I am looking for the best bitcoin wallet.

What do you recommend guys?

I don’t know what country you are in but here in my country coins.ph is popular and always all filipinos who are into bitcoins use that wallet to store our bitcoins and now we can also store, buy and sell ethereum using the same wallet. So far, never did i having a bad experience with it and very easy to use and very fast in every transactions.
178  Economy / Economics / Re: Is NOW the best time to buy or enter in bitcoin? on: May 08, 2018, 09:45:39 AM
Everyday is the best time to buy bitcoins because the value keeps changing all the time. Ups and downs doesn’t matter anymore especially in long term investment since we all know that in time we can gain profits from it. All we have to do is to hodl and patiently waiting for the right time to sell our holdings. But still luckier to those who bought their bitcoin in time of dip because for sure more and more profits is coming their way.
179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The consequences of gambling on: May 07, 2018, 02:30:00 PM
You don't get to be specifics here dude. All gamblers really know the consequences of being addicted to gambling. But why they are still getting into it despite the negative effects of it? Simply because they want to enjoy and earn lots of money in the quickest time possible. And no amount of explanation will swayed their mentality.

Absolutely true. Gamblers especially those who are addicted to it already knows the consequences of their doings but still preferred to ignore everything just to satisfy themselves with their vices. They doesn’t listen even with their family and loveones, so what is the point of doing efforts just to let them be aware of all the negative effects of gambling. And besides some gamblers do gambling just for fun and put limitations in it.
180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If gambling is illegal in your country, would you still gamble? on: May 07, 2018, 01:29:18 PM
If gambling is illegal in your country, would you still gamble?

Why should i let myself be caught by doing illegal doings in my country? Ofcourse i will not gamble anymore if that is the case. I am not an addicted gambler so it is a lot easier for me not to gamble anymore and besides i am a man who follows all government policies to avoid conflict in my life especially because i value my life aswell as my family. I rather have a clean living than to abide government rules.
