161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A lucky gambler wraps up 200 BTC profit at BetKing on: February 21, 2016, 02:54:10 PM
This is just too big. And admin sites wont fund their accounts with this much to let it go bankrupt. This would almost always cause an alarm to the admins and when they do, they will get you losing the whole 20th time.
162  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do you buy Bitcoins? on: February 21, 2016, 02:52:52 PM
most of people buy bitcoin is for trading.
people buy when it low rate, and sell it when the rate is high. simple  Cool

Yep. And on a bigger scale. We buy it while we still can, and wait for the right time to sell them - that is when it's almost 4times its price now! Wooot!  Grin
163  Economy / Gambling / Re: My first bitcoin -- thanks, cryptogames on: February 20, 2016, 04:56:32 AM
Waaaaa. I want to earn my first Bitcoin too. But gambling can never do it for me. I am worst in gambling. If i go there it's basically kissing my Bitcoins goodbye. But congrats to you bro!
164  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: February 20, 2016, 04:54:06 AM
Bitcoin is a good place to invest and earn money and profits. But very true how it is so unstable.. You can't really depend your lives onto something that is very unsure wouldnt you?
165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: February 20, 2016, 04:51:23 AM
Every single place that accepts bitcoin is a step forward. It's beginning. The future is here.

This is my biggest probleim with Bitcoin. There are not many merchants and stores who accepts Bitcoins. Well not just yet i guess. But it really is starting to hit the news, and there are more stores coming into the game. So i guess Bitcoin will workout. The problem as mentioned, wont be for long.
166  Economy / Goods / Re: What should I sell? [OPEN TO ALL SUGGESTIONS] on: February 20, 2016, 04:48:12 AM
One simple things such as Google Cardboard would be a nice start. Google Cardboard as the name suggest, is mostly made out of cardboard. I actually wanted to start this kind of business but the problem is finding the right lens for the VR headset is difficult. If you could find one supplier that supply good and cheap lens, Google Cardboard would definitely be a good choice.

Yea, actually this one is a great idea. This Google Cardboard here is getting the hype. And im sure it will be just that in the coming months. Pretty simple thing but it really is fun. Produce it here online for sure you will get tons of buyers.
167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: where you get bitcoin news every day ? on: February 20, 2016, 04:45:18 AM
Yeah, this forum is pretty much the only place I go for bitcoin.  I am such a creature of habit, and I really should start watching the news and browsing btc websites.  But when something big happens in bitcoin, there is usually a thread started on it almost immediately.  And in general I distrust journalists and don't visit straight up news websites.

It's the paranoia that needs to be medicated.  The paranoia, doctor.

Pretty much the same with me. I go here on Bitcointalk for my fresh squeezed Bitcoin news. Guess it's easier for me here. People just talking their thoughts out, unbiased and unfiltered. Guess it can never be better than that.
168  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: February 19, 2016, 12:51:27 PM
Haha! Who isn't! Thus eveyone's struggle whether or not to save or sell your BTCs.
169  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin debit card on: February 19, 2016, 12:44:03 PM
Is it possible to ever get a reset on the limits?
For example, you reach the $800 (USD) ATM withdrawal limit, does it ever reset and allow you to withdraw $800 more? If not, that would be a pretty cool thing to add for those of us that can't verify accounts.

once the card limits are reached, you can either verify the account to increase them or re-order a new card. The limits are not set by us, but imposed on the card issuing bank by regulators, so, it can't be changed as we wish

Go for it. I mean this is really a good idea! Makes total sense. Hard BTCs so you wouldnt really have to bother. Guess a black card really is appealing.
170  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How can I create my own religion? on: February 19, 2016, 12:42:51 PM
You have to first explain what your religion is all about. Next, create a blog surrounding and explaining the practices of said religion. Start fundraisers I suppose. Just do what you can to work it out. Something tells me though that starting a religion isn't just like starting a business.

Or, maybe it is. I'm not sure. I don't know. I don't want to start a religion.

Guess you have to start with you Bitcoin guys as your audience. Good idea then would be to promote using signature campaigns. Well they are a hit arent they. Lol just kidding. I think it all begins with a philosophy. If people start to imbibe your vision, then i guess you have yourself a religion of your own.
171  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bad time to go long on: February 19, 2016, 12:41:16 PM
What is this? Another Ethereum shill thread?
Ethereum can and will never be what Bitcoin already is.
Furthermore the Eth pump seems to be over and will slowly begin to decline with some small ups in it to catch the last dumbs left with spare money looking for making a quick buck with altcoins.

Actually I'm suggesting that it's a bad time go long with either BTC or ETH. Both will be heading down sooner or later, especially ETH. Perhaps going long with bitcoin would be safer after ethereum's bubble has popped.

Also, bubbles can have ups and downs as well and ethereum's one is no exception.

Hahaha! So much lol on this i have to say. I mean why shouldnt we go for this - i mean the guy already gave you a graph. Very scientific indeed! Hahahaha
172  Economy / Speculation / Re: My BTC Prediction for 2016.. on: February 19, 2016, 12:40:16 PM
1700$ is way too much, 700$ yes, can go to that, but not 1700$, even halving won't change price so much

I think the halving will double the bitcoin. That will make it worth about $800. The general adoption will double it again, making it $1600.

Hearing a lot of people projecting the same thing. And i am so one with you on this. And this im sure wont be helped - Bitcoin will boom on everyone's faces.
173  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I found a bitcoin bank but want to check its validity. on: February 19, 2016, 12:38:14 PM
bitcoin + bank = scam pretty much without fail. Stick interest levels like that on top then it's in the goddamn bag.

For the time being, the "bitcoin banks" are not regulated, so they are mostly scams. In the future, we will have proper banks.
"Bitcoin Banks" are either a ponzi scheme or scam which is pretty much the same. Banks based on Bitcoins are very hard to regulate and it is hard for them to lend out without the extremely high chances of borrowers defaulting. This would only change if those banks are allowed to have secure loans. They would still not be called a bank, they would be called lenders.

Bitcoin itself is a bank, there is no need for a service to act as a bank.

Any bitcoin doubler can run a virtual bank and give you interest . Invest at your own risk, bitcoin bank is not needed for now.

Really am tempted now to signup. Thanks for the note btw. Bitcoin banks are not needed, not now atleast.
174  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Crazy shit Bible says, crazy shit Christians say on: February 19, 2016, 12:37:22 PM
Haha. Why go elsewhere. You dont really have to go that far about shit and any other crazy shit out there. People talk shit about people. People talk shit about somebody else. Eveyone there is, everyone..

It's just a matter of seeing them in a different perspective. All stories i have to say have some context in them and that's what truly matters.
175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I feel pity for bitcoin on: February 19, 2016, 12:34:38 PM
Why feel pity for bitcoin? We are still quite popular. We're being occupied by new people all the time and it is wonderful. I never have any issue with Bitcoin. My only issue is what people say about it without ever occupying it themselves.

Very true. Not to mention there are big players coming in the game and new merchants supporting Bitcoin. Haters gonna hate bro.
176  Economy / Speculation / Re: 10 BTC. Will I be a millionaire by 2030? on: February 19, 2016, 12:32:52 PM
I reckon the price will double every two years. So 2030 is 14 years from now, the price will rise 120 fold. The price will be $ 50k then.

Good projection. Im already good with this. Sooo good with this already. Got a couple of BTCs here myself. Hopes up!
177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still use fiat to buy things on Amazon.com? on: February 19, 2016, 11:39:44 AM
I have never bought anything on Amazon

I had some worst experiences with Amazon, So I avoid to buy anything from Amazon, but if I have to buy anything online I would prefer to buy using fiat or credit card as I want to keep my bitcoins safe for future, so if the value of bitcoin is higher in the future I can make good profits out of it, So I am holding my bitcoins for future and I prefer shopping with fiat or credit cards.

Amazon is amazing. They offer something which is called online business.
What I get from there, i get cheaper, fast, the offer more, and the service is about 90% of the time very reliable and good.
I dont want to mis them.
Also their cloud & it services, like twitch, are phenomenal.
Only would they accept BTC, but it would make Amazon to one of the most rich BTC owners.

If that time comes that Amazon is already accepting Bitcoins. That will be the end of it. Bitcoin value will shoot up then!
178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm leaving Bitcoin on: February 19, 2016, 11:38:59 AM
All the best then dear sir! Cheers to all the Bitcoins ever there is.
179  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Burger King Accepts Bitcoin on: February 19, 2016, 11:36:21 AM
A free burger Looks like a nice deal and it seems like Netherlands is supporting bitcoin considering more than 100 venues accepting it.
And this 100 is just in one city! I live in the Netherlands, but have not been to Arnhem in a while. It's the first time I hear about "Arnhem Bitcoin city", and I will for sure use Bitcoin to pay once I'm there.

Hahaha! Nice. A Bitcoin Dreamland for anybody. Way to go Netherlands. The rest of the countries should follow their lead now.
180  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] newbie account with full member potential, excellent post quality. on: February 19, 2016, 11:35:23 AM
what does potential activity mean this wont be any  more then a full member ?

The activity is less than 30, so it is a newbie account. But the potential activity is 120+, it means if you add more posts, the activity will increase to the potential activity at most.
so what does the account need to do in order to become hero or more some accounts dont even have that option?

For it to be hero member, you need to post and wait 360 days (480-120) days to be a hero. You need to post at least 480 posts in total. Any accounts can do that.

I didn't realize this. Guess it really dont matter how it has its full potential. The first few weeks, or well in your computation, the first whole year of it will just be a waste of effort.
