161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some of the benefits of Bitcoin ... on: October 20, 2020, 11:46:51 PM
---The most significant thing in Bitcoin is decentralization and protection. It is these things, as I would like to think, that give Bitcoin its ubiquity and force
That is why Bitcoin is anti-mainstream, many of the innovations it provides can overcome various problems in the current financial system. multi-functional can be used as an investment tool, trading commodity, and alternative payment, although its adoption is still limited. With all these benefits, users can get security, confidentiality, and transaction transparency. Very effective, even though there are some obstacles that are afraid of many people such as high volatility. Doesn't everything have a risk? as long as we are able to adapt, we can certainly minimize the risk.
162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We don't do it in Bitcoin! on: October 20, 2020, 11:33:04 PM
-----

Anyway, the government can't ban Bitcoin since no one is controlling it but they can ban people from using or trading it to fiat but that's just it, nothing to worry. People could still use it secretly since Bitcoin is decentralized and no one is controlling it especially with wallet addresses. On the other hand, I think most of the government are trying to take the chance to adapt the new technology, therefore, they slowly adapting the blockchain technology.
some governments have adapted crypto in a way that they can best manage. Well, even though there are many pros and cons, it cannot be denied that bitcoin provides a very good evolution in the modern financial system. There are many obstacles that can be overcome by crypto regarding the conventional financial system, there are only a few points that make it an opportunity to be used as an illegal act. That's why the government is trying to limit crypto adoption in order to control the worst possibility of illegal activity. So the government cannot completely ban it, because on the other hand crypto, especially bitcoin, provides a big advantage.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My take on DeFi bounties on: October 19, 2020, 11:59:29 PM
Most of defi bounty campaigns are scam true, but i think it is not only defi one, but most bounty campaigns are.
Doing bounty campaign nowadays has became uncertain because you won't know for sure they will pay you or not.
For this reason, many honest hunters decide to leave to join campaign and they are replaced by bots and spammers who joined.
Fraudsters are also getting smarter at covering up their fakes. They did various tricks to make the project and bounty look promising. I am very grateful that there are many members in this forum who do research and give warnings regarding dubious projects.
It is better if a join bounty is handled by a bounty manager who has experienced handling many successful projects. At least, choose a bounty where the number of participants is limited, this will prevent your work from being wasted because of the low rewards.
164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin transaction fees be too high in the future? on: October 19, 2020, 11:31:30 PM
Well, with the current development of blockchain and crypto, I don't think high fees are a problem. There are many alternatives that can be used if you want to avoid high transaction fees, for example with LN, right?
Besides, the high fee is not a problem, if it is comparable to the services provided, right? If you want anonymous and confidential transactions, you don't have to validate your account like a conventional bank. So what we pay is what we get.
165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin used for illegal activities on telegram on: October 19, 2020, 11:12:38 PM
The anonymity that cryptocurrency provides lead government to blame bitcoin and want to ban it.
However, drugs and many other illegal activities have been banned for years but it still remains to date.
There are always those who take advantage of something for negative things. Likewise, with bitcoin, everyone knows that we can use it anonymously, and this is what the government is warning against. There are many loopholes used by "criminals" to hide their illegal activities in bitcoin, I realize this, but on the other hand, bitcoin can be exploited for something more useful and profitable. Realizing this, the government cannot completely ban bitcoin and only impose limits as much as possible to reduce illegal acts.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The bounty scam will gradually go away on: October 18, 2020, 11:55:29 PM
The bounty scam will always there, you won't know if the bounty is scam or not until the end of the campaign.
But i think the only way to avoid scam bounty is the research of the project itself whether they are scam project or not, so we can know for sure they will pay when the bounty end.
In addition, choosing a bounty manager who is experienced and professional in handling bounties is an alternative that needs to be tried to avoid a scam project. A reputable bounty manager will try to research whether the project is really legit or not.
This is very helpful if we do not have good enough skills in analysis. But remember, Dwyor, even experienced bounty managers can go wrong, so be prepared with all the risks.
167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin logo on: October 18, 2020, 11:11:10 PM
The bitcoin logo that is currently circulating is quite iconic and simple, so it's easy to remember even though it's only with the letter B in white in an orange circle, so I don't think there's any need for re-branding anymore. Besides, I think symbols BTC will be more important, more functional and in keeping with their decentralized niche.
Well, logos and symbols are quite important identities, because only images or symbols can present the entire profile in them. It's cross-language, people from any country with a different language can understand one sign, it's an indication that the logo or symbol is successful.
168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges are guilty of preventing Bitcoin mass adoption on: October 18, 2020, 10:35:57 PM
If those are the actual plans of bitcoin exchanges isn't it going to be harder for them to manipulate the price in the future since more people are starting to accumulate their bitcoin stash as well. Exchanges might have the power to do something like that but at the same time it would also hurt their business if they do decide to pull those kind of actions.
Moreover, users will definitely prefer an exchange with a more reasonable transaction fee, if the service and security are the same, surely the cheaper one will be chosen. This is a market competition between exchanges. DEX also comes with a more effective system, which is why DEX and defi so popular these days. what is clear, bitcoin has more advantages related to conventional transactions. With all the advantages it gets, I think it's worth the level of security, speed, and transparency in this system.
169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The acceptance of cryptocurrency worldwide on: October 16, 2020, 11:20:11 PM
Possibly, regulations around the cryptocurrency world wouldn't give the opportunity for the global adoption to take place. Until these stiff regulations are out of cryptocurrency world global adoption will be a big challenge, though there are good numbers of acceptance from the cryptocurrency but it adoption hasn't been felt. Hope to see some of cryptocurrency problems regarding regulations be solve within a short period of time.
It will take a very long time to wait for global acceptance. Just enjoy the process and I am very grateful that many people realize that cryptocurrency provides great benefits, as evidenced by the increasing adoption of cryptocurrency in the real world. All systems have pros and cons, right? moreover, cryptocurrency is a new technology. Don't worry too much about complicated things, just think about how we can take advantage of the opportunities in this crypto world.
170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 12 years and no country has approved Bitcoin ?? on: October 16, 2020, 11:00:59 PM
---
However just as what happened to alcohol on the US the will of the people will make prosecution impossible as they will consider the law unfair and governments will eventually accept cryptocurrencies as it will be more profitable for them to tax them than to try to arrest every single person dealing with them at the time.
Moreover, cryptocurrency is not something that can be controlled and bound by full government regulations. So it's natural that until now crypto-related laws are still like this. For me this is not a problem, the longer people understand that cryptocurrency is an alternative in a very effective financial system, as an investment product, an alternative payment, trading commodity, etc. The government has also adjusted this because it cannot be denied that cryptocurrency provides many benefits besides its controversial system so that rules are made to "limit" the bad effects of crypto so that its good effects can still be used even with a warning that the risk is high.
171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Covid 19 on: October 16, 2020, 10:46:40 PM
Many people suddenly come and want to get involved with crypto in various ways such as trading, investing, etc. during a pandemic. I experienced it, many friends who suddenly wanted to learn about crypto with me because the difficulty of earning income in the real world is getting harder and the decline is very large. I also said that these difficulties also have an impact on crypto, and I also say that the risk is great because the prices are very volatile. I don't want these beginners who come because they want instant profit to be a loss because of their carelessness.
Bitcoin is very potential, I can still get side income from trading and farming. So, trying to get a profit during a pandemic with bitcoin is good as long as you want to learn and can accept all the risks.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't get moved by fake good news on: October 13, 2020, 11:59:33 PM
Thanks for bringing this up, this happens on Telegram a lot, what I do is to report them. People need to wise up there is no free food anywhere and no one would tell you their secret of making money. The issue here is that most of these guys never have anything to show but a fake Photoshop testimony to lure gullible people and suck them off their BTC most of the time
Fraudsters always take advantage of many ways. The trend that has occurred recently is a flash airdrop, then asking for a number of funds before sending an airdrop. Beware, there are legitimate ones but many are scam and only take advantage of the panic and greed of people who want instant profit.
Don't forget to report if you find a fake account project, this can help other people avoid a scam.
173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency for Trading on: October 13, 2020, 11:42:16 PM
-

Earning profit in crypto is not really that passive for you must work into something to make yourself profitable. You do still need to exert time, effort and patience to be able to earn your income in here which is basically not a passive one. Doing nothing will not guarantee you to earn income but working into something will do.
When work in the real world became more difficult due to the effects of the pandemic, some of my friends and family came and wanted to learn about crypto and trading. I said that the crypto world is also experiencing difficulties, many unexpected things can mess up the market, if you are not ready for all the risks you will lose a lot of funds. Moreover, the goal is to get money quickly and instantaneously to meet needs, I think it is better for the existing capital to be used for other businesses that are already mastered and understood, rather than being determined to join the crypto world.
174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a new investment on: October 13, 2020, 11:00:12 PM
Bitcoin is the greatest crypto of all time.  Most of the crypto users trust it. Currently, in this pandemic, I am really leaving my life on the income from bitcoin trading and other income sources in this forum. Like managing bounties, participating in bounties, joining signature campaigns. Besides these, there is much more income sources you can earn with bitcoin. Really bitcoin is a good investment for me right now. You just need to do proper guide and research.
Very interesting explanation. besides that, bitcoin is a very valuable innovation in today's technological developments. By combining technological advances and a modern financial system, making bitcoin is a really good choice as a side income source. In fact, many people use bitcoin as their main source of income, but with a considerable risk due to high volatility, this needs to be balanced with other businesses in the real world or other more stable investments.
There are many ways that you can do to get income from bitcoin, such as trading, mining, and the current trend is farming. we just need to learn more and understand market trends. of course, we must prepare ourselves with all the risks.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you determine if an altcoin is worth investing in? on: October 11, 2020, 11:39:02 PM
snip~~

It's not fair to say that all new projects are bad because some of them are still pretty good as option, but in fact many DeFi project that were successful before have fallen by 90%. In the long run, I think DeFi is no different from ICO and IEO because they cannot sustain their market price in the long term. Defi investor only want immediate profit and they won't wait any longer for a higher ROI.
Moreover, the crypto world is very difficult to predict, even for experienced people. Things can change quickly just because of certain rumours or issues. Sometimes a project that is dubious at first can give you a nice surprise one day, and vice versa.
Now that Defi is indeed popular, the success of previous projects has made people competing to get the opportunity offered, without thinking about whether this is really legit or not. It is true, investors seem to be using this opportunity to make quick profits, not good enough in the long run, which is why many defi projects are in freefall.

At least, even though it is difficult to predict, we must have a strategy and a strong basis for analysis so that we are not easily caught in the trap of fraudsters. I also often learn analysis from experienced people or trusted channels, and most importantly we understand the risks.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Was 2017 the "Golden Year of Crypto"? on: October 11, 2020, 11:23:56 PM
I think it depends on the point of view of each. What is clear, 2017 is indeed one of the best times for ICOs and many other projects, starting in 2016. Even grey projects can provide benefits, this is because the market is in a very good state and investors are really active in this. However, if we look at bitcoin price movements, if I'm not mistaken since 2011 there has been a pretty fantastic increase.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you find out about new projects? on: October 10, 2020, 11:48:38 PM
there are some good channels you can follow to get updates on new projects. in most cases I use the announcement section of this forum to get new projects
I trust a channel that is professional and experienced, more detailed and objective in reviewing a potential project. The telegram channels I like to check out new projects for are https://t.me/ico_analytic and https://t.me/cryptofenrir.
Well, we also have to be careful and don't rush to agree with other people's opinions, we must have our own basis for judgment, adjusting to the risks and abilities of each. Crypto world is full of surprises, predictions from experts can be missed, however, don't just rely on luck, the point is effort and prayer must be balanced.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which wallet do you think is the best? on: October 10, 2020, 11:27:28 PM
Which wallet do you like the most? Personally I really like Exodus, the only con is that it's not fully open source, but other than that it's a great wallet!

Are there any wallets which allow you to have multiple addresses?
online multi-wallet, I use imtoken and trust wallet. beginner-friendly I think, it looks easy to understand. Imtoken, I used it for a long time, since the beginning of joining crypto, when I needed on time notification of incoming funds, while truswallet I used recently because of many interesting developments from dapps.
All wallets are safe as long as we really choose a trusted one, then secure the wallet as well as possible. Save the best possible backup phrase or add 2-fa, do whatever you can for maximum security.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CMC: Top DeFi Tokens by Market Capitalization on: October 09, 2020, 11:41:10 PM
right after the dump of DIA it immediately go up after a day. a defi project seemingly not a good when it dropped from $4 to $1 now had come back to life making it attractive again. the distribution of bounty hunters i think is over and its time to jump right in for day trading. UNI still is providing a good chance to profit.
An investor with money to pour in these defi project will sure to have more money after months of just holding.
That deep drop may look chaotic, but I think DIA is a pretty good project, with an update in its product that can definitely revive the market again.
Well, the distribution for the bounty campaign is divided into several periods, this is a pretty good strategy to avoid deeper dumps and indirectly most of them choose to hold because of DIA enough potential.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to move on if you've failed to meet the due date of a bounty campaign on: October 09, 2020, 10:56:18 PM
Very interesting writing. what you write is very relevant to the reality in the bounty campaign niche.

I often see some uneducated bounty hunters whining when they run out of time to submit or make reports. There are also those who confidently spend a lot of time and energy making videos or articles but in fact, the form has been closed, or the BM assessment is not in accordance with their expectations. Come on ... we have to get rid of the ego, we have to really understand the ecosystem in the bounty campaign, learn from experience and don't force your will.

From the bounty campaign, I learned many things, one of which is discipline. Often I postpone work, I think the deadline is still far away, so I miss opportunities when there is a change in agenda. It was very painful, especially when I finished writing the article wholeheartedly but it couldn't be submitted. This is really my fault because I like to put off work until towards the end, I should have finished earlier and not procrastinate, as you explained.
