Let's say you bought a bitcoin for $1000 in January 2018. <Just an example, not the real price at the time> So you have to beat inflation and also the performance of other investments to say that your Bitcoin investment was a better investment, than other alternative investments. Let's say your inflation is 5% and your best return on some other investment is %20 per year, then your Bitcoin price increase will have to be more than %25 to beat the alternative investment. Let's say you hoard for 5 years, then you would need a price increase of 125% to beat your alternative investment returns over 5 years. So we cannot have a price increase of 800% in year 1 and then a price decrease of %400 in year 2 and another price decrease of 200% in year 3 and so on... Hope you get at what I am saying. Hoarding might be harmful to your profits, if you do not cash out SOME profit on the ATH.  ..... You might end up with a bitcoin worth $100 in year 5.  What if the value of bitcoin goes up every year and has minimum of 100% growth every year. It's. Going to be more beating the profit from other investment. If this ratio is kept up then you are going to benefit with more turn over. Anything can happen in the crypto currency market. Bitcoin growth trend has been much better so can really hope for big turn over in five years. Is there any chance that Ethereum will cost as much as Bitcoin in 2018?
Even if there is a chance that Ethereum can beat the pioneer, it will take it many years for the coin to do so. Ethereum is much more versatile than bitcoin as it provides a platform for posting new ICOs, can be used as a token for smart decentralised applications and has a much more advanced blockchain. Still, Bitcoin being the pioneer has the first mover advantage. Also with a market capital of $127 billion, the coin has a bigger community and is more widely accepted in the financial market. So, Ethereum has the potential but it will take it time to overcome Bitcoin. I am not doubt that ethereum has a chance to beat bitcoin someday,in the future.. but as you said bitcoin has big market volume and very huge community than ethereum. Most of crypto users, including me, obviously prefer bitcoin to keep being number, we will not just sitting down if ethereum wouldl like to beat bitcoin. One of the reasons is we have invested more in bitcoin. Bitcoin still be the number because of its popularity and being the pioneer in cryptocurrency, the trust and the perception of the peoples around the world is in the bitcoin, etherium has along way to reach the level of bitcoin. |

big investors invest on calulated risk they do thier own research about market and they set target its pretty low chance they invest just random so its a good thing that mature exchanges attract big investors.

If your token has been higher than ICO price maybe you can sell it, but if your token hasn't higher than ICO price you can hold them. I think the market condition right now is going to bullish but there is still doubt, looks from the pump and dump

It increased a lot since the last bloody drop margin, but i guess it is too early to tell that it is now going to be stable. Even on the first quarter of the year, its price struggles to climb, the only time it become stable is two months from now. If it continue to be on that value for more than 2-3 months then we can tell that it is already stable.
This is crypto currency anything will happen because it is a block market price volatility is part of it. The price stability seems difficult to achieve because traders will always plays to the crest of the waves of the price they buy and sell in a short period of time maybe that's the reason why bitcoin has difficulties to climb. |

Both Bitcoin and Altcoin have great potential and both are profitable in trading. This only depends on your planning. Are you a long term trader or a short term? For long term trading, you can choose Bitcoin which has been very profitable since long. For short term, Altcoin is the best option and gives good returns. I'm very happy with my investments in disruptive technology. Aside from cryptocurrencies, i've also invested in an Uber car franchise. Basically, i bought 2 cars, and hired 2 drivers to drive them around. I get just enough to pay the monthly mortgages but in 3 years time, the cars will be fully paid and i will have the car's value for free, of course the Uber franchise can still continue after that and still earn passive monthly income. That's a very good idea to invest another investment that is quite stable, because bitcoin is very volatile as of now transportation business is a good business because it is stable, aside from transportation business you should invest real state or properties because you should put your business in stable ground. |

I think the wisest way to do with my savings is to invest on bitcoin. In this way I could save my money while gaining from it.

We know how people feels when market turns into red, definitely they think crypto will fall. But having enough supporters and believers, it surely bitcoin will have a surge again. We couldn't say by June but it could be possible to happen anytime.
