161  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is Smerit on: April 07, 2021, 11:23:07 PM
Merit is just like a point given to someone for making a constructive, unique, helpful or meaningful post, and it's been given by a member in the forum who is already ranked up and must have gained some merit as well, new members can't give out merits in the forum, only ranked up members can share merits, without merit we can't rank up, while smerit is the shareable merit which we can give out after you must have earned merit as well, if you earned 1 merit them you will receive 0.5 merit, you need to earn 2 merit to be able to gain 1 smerit.
162  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Buying and selling of bitcoin on: April 07, 2021, 11:02:52 PM
There are many ways to buy and sell bitcoin, there are exchanges which offer p2p services where users can buy and sell crypto without any third party or rather the exchange stands in as the middle man making the transaction safe and secured for both buyers and sellers. Another way is buying through bank transfer or using debit cards to purchase coins from exchanges depending on the users location because not all countries bank debit cards are accepted for buying cryptocurrencies in
an  exchange
163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is now in deep now what future traders need to follow? on: April 07, 2021, 10:50:21 PM
Future trade is a high risk and reward trading pattern, if you don't manage risk very well in futures trade then you will be exposed to lose. When there is a deep its better not to just jump and long the market because you don't know how deep the market will go thereby entering without proper analysis and risk management might lead to that acct getting liquidated, so in a bear market it's better you trade and ensure your liquidation price is really far from the market price and always try adding equity or take a quick action of closing the trade if you don't have enough equity to hold for long
164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your Life After 10 years in Bitcoin... on: April 07, 2021, 09:52:47 PM
10 years is really a long time, believe me not everyone who got bitcoin at a cheap rate back  then hodl thier bitcoin till date, most people must have sold at a high price thinking prices will dump, while some panic sellers who held might sell at lose when there's is a great crash in the market, so it's just about patience and time, I never bought and held bitcoin till this recent market pump, I sold bitcoin I had when bitcoin was still at $10k, I was even happy because I bought when price was still at $3k and I was happy selling at $10k because I already made much profit and I never invested back again and now prices is 6x the amount I sold.
165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we get another golden oppurtunity to buy? on: April 07, 2021, 09:35:42 PM
Like it's been said by many that  no time Is being too late to Invest in bitcoin, the target has been 100k usd and with the massive pump of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies bitcoin will surely smash $100k, but it's certain that those with little capital won't gain much profit investing in bitcoin at this time because bitcoin is already high in prices so it's better to go for coin with lesser value which can easily do 10× from its current price value. The bull run is still much more active which simply means there is still a lot of opportunities hanging by the corner.
166  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin are good and not USDT what else? on: April 06, 2021, 03:41:08 PM
Dear friend your wallet can't be frozen if your private keys are well kept , crypto has many much benefits over banks, talking about price volatility if ur afraid of prices going up and down this means you don't have a mindset of investing in crypto bro, because price volatility is what made the crypto Market to be beneficial, if you just wanna Save your asset  without looking for profit and being afraid of loss then you can use a stable coin like Usdt to save your funds in your wallet, but if your are wise enough to minimize your lose and maximize  your profit then you can save your funds in bitcoin and take it as an investment you made therefore buying when there is a deep.
167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I went big into Bitcoin and Ethereum... on: April 06, 2021, 03:30:09 PM
Coinbase is one of the biggest exchange in crypto and is very secured, it's hasn't had any hack incidents ever since it came in existence. Like people say prevention is better than cure, holding a coin in an exchange for a long period of time could be risky because no one knows hackers are getting stronger and building thier knowledge which stands as a threat to most exchanges. 2FA only secures your funds from someone else getting rid of it without ur information , if eventually an exchange is hacked 2FA is useless it can't stop hackers from moving funds, so it's better to save you coins in a cold or hard wallet where your seed and private keys protect your asset.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best place to invest, earn and predict among new projects???? on: April 06, 2021, 02:37:47 PM
It's so bad that crypto activities has been filled with alot of scam even most projects are now scaming, launching ICO and runinng with investors funds. Like I always say go for project which got strong backups which community is very large and got alot to offer, some shit project launches and claim  to solve a certain problem in crypto through thier coin! so don't just take  what there say make research and see how true is this like for example soveryn project no doubt that project is strong enough, it's an example of a good project it got strong backups, it has not been listed yet but many people are just too ready to buy and also big investors are backing up the project.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will stablecoins replace Fiat currencies in the future? on: April 06, 2021, 01:53:07 PM
Well to most citizens stable coin might replace fiat especially for crypto lovers, but it will be very difficult for stable coin to replace fiat worldwide because not all countries accepts crypto and currently speaking all most 100% of most countries government won't want to replace thier fiat currency with a cryptocurrencies! It sounds very much impossible, government likes being in charge, knowing fully well no one controls crypto it will look as a threat to them and also all countries currency represents its country by bearing the country's name e.g USD which is United state dollars, this is another reason why government will not allow crypto to replace their fiat currency.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Are The Top Altcoins For Investments In 2021 on: April 05, 2021, 09:46:03 PM
No doubt almost all coins in the market are really doing fine but it's better to invest on coin which has strong back ups, don't just invest on coin for investment sake or because a coin is pumping shouldn't warrant u to jump Into it because there will always be a price correction or incase there is a crash in the market coins with strong back ups won't bleed so much but shitcoin will always fall so deeply. Top coins to invest in apart from bitcoin is ETH, XRP which is still very low in prices, BNB, Litecoin, polkadot this coin got good potentials abs there are still many out there too.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB still undervalue on: April 05, 2021, 01:14:16 PM
BNB which is a native coin of the Binanace exchange has really been doing very well, the coin has been pumping and with the look of things the current price is still undervalued. A $20 coin is now worth more than $300, the bull run is still strong and for sure we should expect more high prices from many coins, BNB has been one of my favorite coin ever since I noticed it's strong potentials and believe me the Binanace exchange will continue adding more features which Will be in the support of thier token and this will eventually continue pushing the price of the token.

174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Nigeria Central bank confusing its citizens? on: March 28, 2021, 05:17:26 PM
It's obvious the CBN doesn't even have a solid reason for restricting Nigerian citizens from making transactions with thier bank accounts, it's clearly seen that CBN must have noticed that alot of crypto traders are really making it big in crypto therefore making them not being broke and can compete with those on power, like my friend said Nigerian government like being in control so maybe that's why there ban crypto to be able to be in full control monetary but there can't deny the fact that crypto is really helpful to their country.
175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The World Without Bitcoin on: March 28, 2021, 04:15:46 PM
In our world today we all know bitcoin is the source of income to many individuals, in most countries there is so many unemployed youths who doesn't work because of lack of job opportunities, but since the invention of bitcoin things changed and most unemployed citizens who got to know about bitcoin and learnt how to earn from bitcoin are really being rich even richer than the ones working in companies. So without bitcoin poverty would have been so much in Most countries and youths will be left with no choice but to involve in crimes in order to make money which is bad, without bitcoin many wouldn't have been as rich as there are now, this shows bitcoin investion was really very helpful to the world.
176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Type of people who buy bitcoin. on: March 28, 2021, 12:13:40 PM
Bitcoin isn't meant for any set of people, bitcoin is for everyone who wishes to buy or take part in it, anyone who wants to invest will have to buy the portion or amount he can afford to matter the country or location because even if a country doesn't accept bitcoin there are some exchanges who has features of P2P trade so buying presently now is never a problem. The main thing there is not everyone can afford buying 1 bitcoin so everyone buys according to what there can afford like some people who buys today buys in fraction.
177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much btc do you need to secure your future? on: March 28, 2021, 11:27:03 AM
Like you said earlier it depends on the location of the person, in USA living there is much more expensive, the cost of living in USA can't be compared to any Indonesia country or even African countries. Recently I got a Nigerian friend and we discuss more often and he tells me that if he gets just 1 bitcoin his live would change forever, that 1 bitcoin is worth over 28 million in Nigerian naira, this is a huge money for any citizen in that country to live wealthy, having over 28 million if the money is spent wisely and used for investing certainly will never go broke again, but in USA 1 btc is just below $60 which isn't enough to live very wealthy so the location is the deference.
178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Use of cryptocurrency as an investment and exchange currency for FIAT. on: March 28, 2021, 08:14:50 AM
Bitcoin isn't just an asset for investment only, it is used for transactions nearby and across countries, sending fiat from a particular country to another country seems to be a bit stressful because there will be a need to go to the bank and fill in forms and this might take much time depending on how fast the services of the bank is, but in bitcoin non of these is required we can make transactions with anyone anywhere in the world with some few minutes, bitcoin saves us the stress of going to bank to make transactions across countries, not just that presently most companies and businesses accepts bitcoin as payments so bitcoin isn't just an investment tool.
179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin value keeps climbing, make sure your old cold storage is safe. on: March 28, 2021, 07:52:38 AM
Most time I really think I wish have been into the crypto space right from its infancy and also hodl enough bitcoin, but so bad at that time I haven't even heard of bitcoin talk more of joining and then earning bitcoin was really much more easy since most faucet and mining sites gives some portion of bitcoin for free. Even when I later joined the crypto space I did worked for a site which paid me in bitcoin and I had a very nice amount which I was even happy selling when the prices was $10k, I had held this amount for  a while  and when bitcoin hit 10k I sold thinking the market might dump soon I never knew it was just the starting of bull run last year, immediately I sold after a month bitcoin started pumping massively and it pains me so much knowing I would have gotten more than I sold had it been I kept my bitcoin.
180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla now accepts Bitcoin on: March 28, 2021, 07:33:27 AM
It's really surprising how bitcoin got alot of adoption starting from last year to this year, Tesla had shown interest in bitcoin at first then invested a very huge amount of bitcoin which I believe there are already making  insane gains out of it and now Elon Musk stated tesla will be accepting bitcoin as payments and the bitcoin received as payment won't be converted to fiat that means there will hodl any bitcoin been paid to them, this is great in the sense that bitcoin adoption is growing and also more investors are also coming in, it really obvious that the adoption of bitcoin by many companies is also contributing to the massive pump of bitcoin.
