We're gonna see a bunch of companies jump on the blockchain wagon in the VERY NEAR future! They'll all start making their private blockchains and then export it to Ethereum's, the biggest public one.

I would advise you to stay away from XRP dude - read up about it on the forums and try to remove the shill noise and you'll come to a conclusion on your own  For 2018 i'd def go with the Ethereum/OMG, the others are up for debate |

XRP is quite the opposite actually, lol. I'd recommend you stay away from it, even it you're focus on daytrading it for a profit only. You won't miss out on anything but bagholding and losses |

When all Bitcoins are mined. Miners only get paid for the transactions fees. This most likely means a lot of miners will go off the network. Curious how they are planning to solve that after that. I do believe Bitcoin transactions will be even faster near that date. Miners are needed to keep the network alive. So I can see donation funds happen to keep miner farms alive to keep the Bitcoin network alive basically. Maybe the transaction fees then will be enough to keep miners interested. We will see when we get there.  I don't think miners will get off the network.. Things will reach an equilibrium, and by the time bitcoin reaches its 21 million units, hopefully it'll be already adopted by many and have scaled well - meaning plenty of tx/s to keep the miners going profitably. |

I'm gonna go ahead and predict 6.6k by year end! I think Bitcoin needs to scale and resolve its political issues before being mass adopted! And if we rush this process we might end up with a failed coin despite a revolutionary concept...

I want Bitcoin to be a global currency. It got to where it is today based on this vision and idea - thats why its greatly adopted around the round right now. Now suddenly its "digital gold" "storage of value"? Pfff... I want people everyoen to be able to buy and sell on their day to day lives, with fast and cheap transactions!

The biggest threat BY FAR is the scalability issue... In order to grow further and further, bitcoin cant be capped at 3tx/s... VISA is doing 50k/s... we need a solution QUICK!

Nothing in our current crypto scenario is certain. Always remember that before investing your money. Waves SEEMS like a good project, but many others are also on that boat. And it has already seen huge growth, so how many people are actually holding right now but planning on cashing out their profits in the very near future, driving the price down? It's impossible to know...

Fees are supposed to be low. You do know that each block they mine is worth a lot of BTC dont you? and thats where most of their revenue comes from?
High fees are only good for alienating the community and potential new users.

I think you should be aiming to buy a little bit every month with every paycheck you get. That is if you believe it'll rise in price soon...
Thats what im planning on doing - keep increasing it little by little in the future!

I think they should be focusing on other things right now to be honest, lol... Trying to flood the blockchain with even more new users when you can't even handle the traffic that's going on right now... I see lots of people trying it for the first time and being put off because of the fees and transaction time...

This depends a lot on your approach to the market. If you don't have much time or the skills/patience, its better to just hold. If you have the time to look at charts and analyse them, you can try selling high and buying low - just keep in mind that many people try this and end up selling before it takes off or buying before it crashes |

If you can get it escrowed more people might give it a try... a month is a long time to wait to be scammed at the end I'm not accusing you, just pointing out what most people are probably thinking at the moment |
