161  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 04, 2017, 04:28:35 PM
Can someone explain me what segwit will do? In a language that I can understand Cheesy

Faster transactions, but less secure network, the real developers would never agree with segwit implementation. Segwit will lead to the new ATH but Bitcoin might possibly crash hard, because people will understand that segwit isn't the future and we need larger blocks, but developers backed by AXA BANK (Bitcoin Core; yes it's really a private bank) will refuse to implement "2x" part of segwit2x and the chain might fork yet again and people will run to Bitcoin Cash, which si ready to get mass adopted and is the real bitcoin Satoshi described in his whitepaper. It will be really easy for those who adopted Bitcoin to convert to Bitcoin Cash, so that's something I wouldn't really worry, we can forget about Bitcoin in a while and use the real bitcoin. Therefore, from now I would call the current bitcoin Bitcoin Legacy and buy a lot of BCH when it hits the low to at least hedge your funds, because it's possible that Bitcoin Legacy will really crash and Chinese miners will dump BTC and buy cheap BCH from morons like most of the people on this forum.

Good morning Bitcoinland.

The price keeps creeping upward... currently $2870USD (Bitcoinaverage). There's no sign of it losing any value from the hard fork.

Let's see what happens when segwit clears out the mempool. Moon launch?

Let's also see what happens when the AltCash difficulty drops enough for transactions to move at a practical pace. Dump to oblivion?
______

Speaking of AltCash, isn't it time to come to an agreement regarding its ticker designation?

BTC is already well established for Bitcoin. I always thought BCC referred to Bitcoin Core, as compared to BCU for Bitcoin Unlimited.

BCH seems the obvious choice for the altcoin "Bitcoin" Cash. Can't we all just go with that?

Segwit clears out the mempool? Trust me, most people don't even know what mempool is. Anyway, we'll hit the new ATH soon, but then BTC will crash hard, because of Bitcoin Cash, you'll see, everything's getting ready for a takeover.
163  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we ever see bitcoin lower than 1000$? on: August 04, 2017, 01:02:59 PM
Maybe after segwit when we hit the new ATH and holders will start dumping and moving to the future of bitcoin - Bitcoin Cash, not that AXAcoin fueled by a private bank.

Two things that are important, highest bitcoin price possible and lowest bitcoin cash price possible, than it happens and I'm quite sure it's not before segwit.
164  Economy / Speculation / Re: Coinbase will now accept bitcoin cash on: August 04, 2017, 12:56:42 PM
Point taken
If I move funds back to coinbase will I have equal amount of bitcoin cash to withdraw if I chose to do so

Where do people like this come from? Coming into a thread to talk absolute nonsense.
165  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 04, 2017, 12:22:02 PM
Ever since Bcash launched, I see more and more trolls and shills for that shitcoin on this thread. And they all seem to be really irritated. Likely because their precious coin keeps falling in price.

Reminds me of a certain political party in the U.S. Even when their side finally "wins" and gets in power, they still remain angry and bitch and complain the entire fkn time.

It's not BCash, it's Bitcoin Cash.
166  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Legacy chain won't survive, in the end Bitcoin Cash will win. on: August 04, 2017, 12:04:08 PM
Are you trying to FUD? But i just get an announcement fro my local exchange if the bitcoin cash network can't stand again and it will be delisted from there. Sold your bitcoin cash before too late. Those just want free money and dump it right now.  Tongue

If you think so, no one will tell you what to do, do your due diligence and place your bets accordingly, so you won't regret it later.

Sounds like they're afraid of Bitcoin Cash success, funny. AXA BANK (also known as Blockstream and Bitcoin Core) is really here.

FUD is irrational, I have arguments and people who think about the upcoming changes to bitcoin protocol see that already. I'm not the only one saying that, there are already thousands of people that understand this and more are to come. They just laugh at the speculations here about bitcoin.
167  Economy / Speculation / Re: Worth investing as a student? on: August 04, 2017, 11:53:29 AM
but investing in bitcoin is not easy that most of people said. when you placed your money in wrong investment you potentially lose your money. so only trust proofed place of investment.

I think you're mixing up a few things here. Investing in Bitcoin can't result in a loss of money, unless you lose access to your private keys, or you get hacked in one way or another. What you are referring to are optional investments, such as investing in casino bank rolls, ICO's, altcoins, cloud mining, etc. I consider these investments to be completely useless, as they require you to expose yourself and your Bitcoins to unneeded risks. If you just stick to investing in Bitcoin itself, and keep holding these coins for the long term, you (1) aren't exposed to unneeded risks, and (2) you actually will see your wealth grow. People that want to invest in other assets and services anyway, then they are free to do so, but they shouldn't complain when things go wrong.

OK, you deserve to lose your money, lol. You people really deserve Bitcoin Cash takeover so you hit hard the wall with your head.

168  Economy / Speculation / Bitcoin Legacy (aka AXAcoin, aka Bitcoin Core Coin) chain won't survive on: August 04, 2017, 11:30:13 AM
The title is self-explanatory, tech-savvy people already know that the Bitcoin Legacy is headed for a doomsday, because of the crappy Blockstream developers group called Bitcoin Core funded by AXA Bank (basically current Bitcoin is funded by a private bank that doesn't want it succeed in the future), that's why Blockstream doesn't want segwit2x, in November bitcoin will either fork into 2 chains, or there will be no blocksize change, it will hurt the bitcoin hard no matter what happens. There is almost no one running BTC1 software (needed for segwit2x), mostly everything is Bitcoin Core that doesn't want the "2x" part of segwit2x. The segwit is a great security threat that should never be implemented and the bitcoin legacy road map will not succeed, they're basically trying to change Bitcoin in the way no sane person would want.

We already have a coin that is ready to get mass adopted and that is Bitcoin Cash, no segwits, no second layers, no BS scaling road maps. It's already invented and ready just waiting for the right moment for a takeover.

After segwit activation on Bitcoin Legacy chain, we'll hit the new ATH and then the price will slowly decrease followed by Bitcoin Cash price increase until Bitcoin Cash becomes the main chain. This will be partly forced by Chinese miners that know you can't just dump all bitcoins at once, but have to do it slowly. People who know that celebrate the low price of Bitcoin Cash and will accumulate as much as possible. People who sold Bitcoin Cash will regret it hard. It takes only a small price pump to Bitcoin Cash to become profitable to miners and imagine if Bitcoin Cash was the price of current Bitcoin, miners would be totally crazy to mine Bitcoin when they can get hundreds of percents more money for mining Bitcoin Cash.

The future is really bright, it only depends if u stand on the right side. It will only take a small changes for stores around the world and Japan to change from Bitcoin to Bitcoin Cash, because it's just forked Bitcoin, support can be brought in a few days. There are so many  people emotionally invested in Bitcoin (and people brainwashed by Bitcoin Core propaganda) that will refuse this only to see their money vanish, don't be one of them, at least create a hedge or just don't sell your Bitcoin Cash, this way, you can be sure you don't lose your money.

Bitcoin is gon' be a Bitcoin Cash's b1tch, maybe you're now too emotional to accept that, but that's the most likely scenario to happen right now.

And as always it's good to recall this good old quote:

Quote from: Mark Twain
Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.
169  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is the price of BTC still so high eventhough BCH is going up on: August 03, 2017, 10:55:29 PM
Thing that I wrote in another thread Can we see $50 ?, I think it's important to notice some possibilities, even thought they may be not true in the end.

Pretty soon (after segwit and hitting the new ATH) when whales dump BTC and pump Bitcoin Cash, because it will be much more profitable to mine. Even if BCC price was $1600 and after difficulty adjustments, it would be profitable by hundreds of percents to switch from BTC to BCC (try that on BTC.com mining calculator). Miners would be stupid to continue mining BTC. And as we know, BCC has no segwit, blocks up to 8 MB and adjustable difficulty and is the real bitcoin that Satoshi described. Bitcoin Core proved themselves to be childish, otherwise segwit was activated a year ago. And did u know that every major pool is actually getting ready to mine BCC, so they can start when the big things start happening?

When the segwit gets activated, BTC prices hits the new ATH and BCC price hits the low, there will be some fun, extreme dumping BTC and buying BCC, multiplying the money 10x or 20x easily for miners and big holders. Those who dumped BCC will regret it pretty hard, U AIN'T GOT NO HEDGE, FOOLS. If u don't believe, at least don't sell your BCC, or u will lose a lot of your money in the end, maybe everything.

Technically BCC is vastly superior and BTC improvement road map is a NO-GO. And also BCC is already done, no segwit, no hard forks, it's a coin that's ready to get mass adopted. People who understand Bitcoin Cash superiority now will make huge profit in the near future and by huge I mean really HUGE. Anyway, Bitcoin Cash sounds really good to me, really catchy, even for an average Joe it's more understandable, which is important.

But that's just my opinion, of course Smiley, u know what, the more u know...

One message for short-sighted people dumping Bitcoin Cash, U AIN'T GOT NO HEDGE, FOOLS. AND IF U LOSE YOUR MONEY, OTHERS WON'T FEEL SORRY.

Any good charts with miners and their performance (hashrates) to watch? I've seen one really good showing current performance of miners and day hashrate difference percentage or something but can't find it.

This can be quite a good indicator when to move from BTC and also as you said pool.viabtc.com.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Do bitcoin addresses work for bitcoin cash? on: August 03, 2017, 07:03:47 PM
Can I use bitcoin paper wallet generator like https://www.bitaddress.org/ and use the address provided for my BCC wallet? I have read that it's not possible and should be avoided.
The private key wouldn't work in BCC wallets or what's happening?

Please make sure that you're using the correct address while withdrawing Bitcoin Cash (BCC). Otherwise your coins could be lost! Bitcoin (BTC) addresses are not suitable for this.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Why bash Bitcoin Cash? It might be the future of Bitcoin. on: August 03, 2017, 04:26:45 PM
Seriously, I've been following everything related to bitcoin and its forks for quite a long time. When it comes to specification of Bitcoin Cash, it seems like the future of Bitcoin to me, no dangerous Segwit, thus more secure, no centralization like with Bitcoin Core, adjustable blocksize cap, less fees. The most dangerous thing about the current bitcoin is the segwit that might hurt the currency really hard and also November hard fork that might not even happen. It's backed by Chinese miners that can push it anytime and they won't let it crash. Bitcoin Core devs have basically diverged from Satoshi's description of the Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash and are pushing it in the way it wasn't intended.

I'm even playing with an idea just to change all BTC to BCC when it hits low, because I see the future in Bitcoin Cash, because in my opinion it's technically better and the current Bitcoin won't be able to become a mainstream currency anytime soon, but everything is mostly solved already in Bitcoin Cash.

To be clear, I've invested in Bitcoin in the past and been holding BTC and BCC in 1:1 ratio since the fork and never even thought about selling BCC. It was really laughable how everyone was saying that they had been going to sell it at the earliest opportunity. It seems more like people here are AFRAID of Bitcoin Cash SUCCESS for some reason. And remember the ideology BS between developers of Bitcoin Core and people standing behind Bitcoin Cash.

I'd like to hear others' opinion on this matter, why do you think that currency X wins or what could possibly happen in the future?
