161  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency can not replace fiat currency. on: March 01, 2020, 03:49:50 PM
I have seen so many posts about emerging cryptocurrency, and they think that someday it will take over our current system, or it will replace our fiat currency, which is really impossible, yes cryptocurrency is such an excellent currency especially the bitcoin, cryptocurrency keeps on being more prominent and more significant. Still, I think it is not enough to replace the fiat currency. It will be hard for the government to do that.

It will be hard for us if we use our cryptocurrency as our standard currency, the volatile currency will not be useful in real life; only that money is only suitable in real life. Not all individuals are really used in technology, so how could they handle their money if they are not familiar with the technology.

There are still some rural places in this world, so it will be hard for them to adopt the new system if this will be implemented in the future, which I hope won't happen, and even those person in provinces will also get mad if those things happen.

I do agree that cryptos cannot really replace fiat. Fiat currency is a traditional currency and most or we can say all people know these things can be used for everyday transaction which is way too far from bitcoin or any other crypto currencies out there.  Also the government will not allow it to happen, although some governments and countries do agree in cryptos, still it is not enough reason why cryptos can replace fiat.

Cryptos can be an alternative currency but to be able to replace fiat currencies, nah, i don't think so.
162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency vs. Fiat currency. on: March 01, 2020, 03:34:44 PM
Fiat is still my choice to use for daily transactions and for daily needs. Not all people here in my country knows about bitcoin and use it for everyday transaction that is why, even if we have bitcoins in our mobile wallets and when the time comes where we need to use these bitcoins, some people still convert it to fiat currency in order to use it for transactions. The only transactions available and accepts bitcoin here in my country are buying load credits, paying bills, used for online shopping to some selected stores, and not for daily use.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't just hold your altcoins for a long time! on: February 27, 2020, 05:54:00 PM
The communication and updates is really a must if someone really wants to hold and wait for a hype of a token or altcoin. I've been holding so many tokens right now and I admit it that it is really hard to be updated with the current news about these tokens.

Just like yesterday, I was about to lose tokens to be received this coming March just because I did not read the announcement made on the telegram. Gladly, I was able to fix the issue with our bounty manager.

There's also one time when I did not read the news about one of the tokens I keep where it rose up to $4k on its first two weeks in the market. It is really a big amount of money here in my country, and unfornately I lost the chance to sell my tokens just because I didn't get updated in telegram. Hopefully, it won't happen to me again.  Sad
164  Economy / Economics / Re: Corona Virus is a Fake Flag to destroy China! on: February 27, 2020, 05:42:29 PM
I'm sorry OP but I'm confused about the thing you're implying. Are you saying that USA (not really sure about the thing I would say) made that virus to destroy China because they will launched their local crypto this year? (I'm sorry but I'm really confused) or what you meant was that USA uses the corona virus in order to crush their launching of cryptos? I don't get the point.

Well, regarding to your post about corona virus, it is really a threat to someone's health if ever you get this kind of deadly virus that results to respiratory diseases. This is kne of the reasons why many countries banned Chinese people to come to their countries and I totally understand that. With regards to the cryptos to be launched by China, I don't think (and hoping not) that some people will get to the point of inventing virus just to destroy a country's economy. That would be too much. Too cruel to be exact.
165  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin hitting its steady price? on: February 27, 2020, 05:22:59 PM
Steady price? Nah, I don't think so. I haven't heard of any coins having steady price most especially bitcoin. The price of bitcoin in the market is still a good price although it dropped from 10k, I think that is still not the limit of the hype price of bitcoin. It's just a warm up (I hope so). It will rise up again as the halving month approaches.

166  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin good for the economy? on: February 26, 2020, 05:59:29 PM
Maybe what The Economist meant here by "bitcoin is hard to earn" is that if it will be earned by literally from a job or work (like for example, doing bounty campaigns), yes it will be really hard to earn most especially if you want to earn a whole 1 btc by doing this thing, but if you have the money, you can just by bitcoin but that doesn't really mean you earned it unless you trade it and get some more as a profit. As as for the other two mentioned, yes bitcoin have those potential and it can be used as a currency, but still, some people prefer fiat currencies over bitcoin. It is because it has been used as traditional way of payment and is a lot easier to understand unlike bitcoin.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MetaMask for Ethereum Crosses 1,000,000 User Milestone on: February 26, 2020, 05:40:15 PM
I've installed and use metamask on my google chrome extesion and I can say that it is easier to use and access, altthough I only use it everytime I check my wallet and everytime I trade tokens. I have three wallets there that I can check all the time without putting private key everytime in order to access the wallet unlike any other software and websites out there.
168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and the Black Americans on: February 25, 2020, 01:51:24 AM
For us who see the potential and good things about bitcoin can say that we can deal with it and that it will benefit us in the future but, that doesn't mean that we are not exempted from the risks it might get us. The same things go to Black Americans. It is true that bitcoin is being used in scams and that people lose some of their money by dealing and investing with it, maybe this is the reason why they do not trust bitcoin and do not want to rely on it. It may be misinformation to some, but it may also be true to others, based on their own experiences.

It is true that bitcoin is a good source of income, and the transaction may be faster than that of their banking systems, but that doesn't mean that everything will be good for them if they deal, use, and invest in it. They should also be informed about the risks they may encounter and the future outcomes should always be considered if anything goes wrong if they ever decided to use bitcoin and blockchain technology.
169  Economy / Economics / Re: Using of Blockchain in Election on: February 24, 2020, 01:39:57 AM
I can see the potential of blockchain if it is to be used for election. The main feature of blockchain is its decentralization and publicity of records wherein people can see the full results of election without relying to any third parties or people who can be manipulated using the old voting system. My only concern is that, what if manipulation comes to the people who will vote? We all know that politicians or someone who wants power will always do their best no matter what it takes just to gain that power. Well we can't really do something about that, no matter how good a system is, it will still be the greedy one who will win in the end. Sad but true.
170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sending Bitcoin through SMS/Text Messaging? on: February 24, 2020, 01:24:25 AM
I haven't heard of any project doing or working on this kind of stuff but it's kinda interesting tho, although I don't think if it is possible for all we know that bitcoin trasactions are done online (or are there any other way to do so, idk). If it is possible, well it will be convenient for most of us who do not like to pay high transaction fee and those who wants faster way of transaction.
171  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a leading currency? on: February 24, 2020, 01:15:28 AM
Bitcoin has proven its potential over these past few years and we can't deny the fact that no altcoin can ever replace it. As for becoming a leading currency, yes, bitcoin has the potential to be one. Many people and countries are already accepting and legalizing bitcoin but, it is still not enough for it to be a leading currency all around the world if it is not totally accepted and recognized by all the government. In order for it to be one of the leading currencies, it should be accepted by all and should be totally adopted.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: As a Bounty hunter, don't expect too much on: February 23, 2020, 01:32:53 PM
As a bounty hunter, I spend some of my time and effort in doing works in bounties and I can say that it is kinda hard to comply with 10 posts each week doing signature campaign. I am doing my best (although it is not enough) to create a constructive posts as much as possible to comply with the rules of the bounties I join (take note that english is not my first language). I am not expecting too much in those bounties I join, but as a bounty hunter, some decent amount of payment is enough for those time and effort we exerted, but unfortunately, not all campaigns can pay and comply with that expectations especially if those campaigns are not legit to start with. Sad
173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The profitability and effort put into different ways of earning bitcoin on: February 04, 2020, 05:24:44 PM
Gambling is really a high profitable way to make money and also really very risky. As much as possible, we should not involve ourselves to it because it is also addicting once we start winning and making money from it.

When it comes to signature campaign, yes it is not a regular source of income unlike regular jobs we have but instead, it can be consider as a way to earn EXTRA income. And yes, people need to exert greater effort in doing signature campaign or else they'll end up spamming and sh*tposting just to reach the quota for every week's work. We can say that the money we earn from signature campaign are less than the effort we exert and the time we spent from doing it but still, not a bad idea to earn extra money especially for students and for those people who likes spending time in the internet.

175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to protect your crypto against a natural disaster? on: January 28, 2020, 10:46:16 PM
In storing private keys, what I do is store it in an online wallet, then I also have my flashdisc as well as paper wallet. It is safe to always have back-ups. As for the natural disasters, it is easy to put these things into a safe place anywhere in your home, banks or if not possible, keep it to yourself but just make sure that you yourself is also safe when that natural disaster comes. Your wallet abd private keys are safe but who will use it and benefit from it if no one can access because the owner died from that natural disaster. Everything will be useless if that ever happened.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Remove the bad influencer from your life! on: January 28, 2020, 10:31:28 PM
Yes, it is right, ignore negative people and influencer in your life, not just today or because of bitcoin negative hearsay but in general. In everything you do, you need to be positive and always look for the best, and negative people does not have place in your life. Don't let them change your mindset and decision making.

In connection with bitcoin, you can always decide for yourself. You can make your own research and do not do the same decision someone made just because the result he/she got is negative. You can make it as a lesson but that does not mean that the result you can get can be good or better than his'/hers'.
177  Economy / Economics / Re: Richest 2000 People richer then poorest 4.6 billion on: January 28, 2020, 10:24:42 PM
Unfortunately, we can't equally divide the distribution of bitcoin unless we have the money to buy it and a supply that will literally id divided for the poor and rich people. Richer people or some of the richest people are the ones who have the money to buy large amount of bitcoin but some of us who earn money which is just enough for our daily lives will not somehow not take the risks to do the same (also, we don't have that large amount of money to start with).

What you call inequality cannot be changed. There will always be richest people and poor people in the world. Sad but true.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Crypto Vs Corona Virus on: January 28, 2020, 03:12:25 PM
The corona virus spreading in Asia which happens to originate from China is really hitting and one of the top news recently. The virus that affects even some nearby country of China should avoid letting Chinese people to come into their country and hopefully the virus is to be cured soon. I also hope that it will not affect the price of bitcoin for all we know that there are many investors in China that have seen the potential of it.
179  Economy / Economics / Re: what should consider before investing in a coin? on: January 28, 2020, 03:04:23 PM
Legitimacy of a project is really hard to know, especially that most projects can be promising at the beginning or in their whitepapers but still ends up to be a scam and trash. It is really necessary to make your own research about a project - the people behind it, how well the project is to be useful and successful in the future and how many participants participate in the said project.
180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Selling milk tea for Bitcoin on: January 28, 2020, 02:59:00 PM
Using promos will also promote bitcoin or even stir curiousity to those who do not know bitcoin. People who knows bitcoin will probable love the idea and will definitely buy your milktea because of the promo as well as because they also knew someone who knows bitcoin and is willing to accept bitcoin as a payment on a product. Good job! Hope your business will be successful someday. Cheesy
