161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Corona Virus was predicted but it will soon vanish on: March 15, 2020, 11:55:12 PM
Although she successfully predicted some things but she was also wrong on a lot others and was discredited for that. So one thing that i don't understand if such people are so good at telling about the future then why don't they invest in stocks or other stuff and become billionaire or something and change the world

163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can the market stand this trial on: March 15, 2020, 01:40:20 PM
Perhaps you should try looking at the bitcoin history as a good example.
From 20k to 3k and then back to 14k and then 6k again.
That should explain everything.
Remember that it is still in a volatile market and it will happen for a long time.
Maybe even at the time when we are not breathing anymore.

But if you have stable coins then it wont be a problem. Stay with that and you wont see any drop in value.  Grin

yes history is repeating itself under different circumstances now .. back in January 2017 crash, people were wondering about same things which we are seeing now. Can the crypto market ever recover? Unlike the last couple of times, crypto really isn't just a "person" industry anymore. There are plenty of major corporations that have started to invest in Bitcoin and blockchain technology so it is safe to assume that we will definitely recover this time also lets see when this happens in the mean time HODL!
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market stability is not ascertain. We might fall again on: March 14, 2020, 01:20:46 PM
Regardless of price movements in the USD exchange value, True HODLER's won’t sell their Bitcoin. They can’t be shaken out of their belief. In fact, they are likely to be buying Bitcoin on these large price drops, rather than selling. Even Edward Snowden considering buying BTC at theses prices
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coronavirus is ravaging a large portion of cryptocurrencies. Is this permanent? on: March 13, 2020, 08:45:03 PM
Obviously its not permanent what we are witnessing is panic selling though one positive note for the future is this:  many people moved from Bitcoin to cash as you would expect in times of reasonable FEAR But, when the dust settles. They'll want their BTC positions back. A lot of SPOTS will be purchased without very many willing sellers.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Ways to earn crypto without investing or mining on: March 13, 2020, 02:42:07 PM
Hello crypto lovers,

I have written this article on 5 ways to earn crypto without investing or mining, I think this is very important as it is the best way to introduce new people into the cryptocurrency. The article link it below. Please feel free to share it with anyone who is looking for ways to earn crypto.

https://www.publish0x.com/crypto-101/5-ways-earn-crypto-without-investing-or-mining-xozwx?a=GELe3POa69

Do you know any other ways outside of the article? I am always looking for more ways to earn crypto to educate people. Also I would recommend that you look at the blogging platform the article is written on, it's one of the ways you can earn crypto for free.

You create content for people to read, similar to Steemit. There are two ways you earn crypto.

1 - Creating content - Users tip your article, you receive those tips.

2 - Tipping articles - When you want to tip an article, you choose how much of the tip you give to the article and how much you keep. You have to tip at least 20%. You get a certain amount of daily tips.

When you tip it rotates currently between HYDRO, Bounty0x and DAI. In the future, they will be adding BAT to the tokens you will own, i don't know if it will be added to the rotation, or they will tip more in BAT.

I really like the platform, and i would recommend it to anyone who likes to read / create crypto content or who wants to earn some established tokens. Remember that all these tokens are listed on exchanges and CoinMarketCap, so they all have a value, you don't need to worry about the bounty paying out or the token being of a value.

You can sign up through the link in the thread, and its free and easy. Hope to see you guys there!

P.S. If you like the article and sign up, give a tip for appreciation  Smiley

First of great article dude. Keep up the good work. Here are few suggestions i think you should mention faucets and affiliate marketing like inviting friends to binance/localbitcoin or paxful and other similar services and earn passive income that way. And also pre-search is another platform where you earn tokens for your search activity.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bad days for crypto on: March 12, 2020, 09:31:00 AM
According to the video, bitcoin could hit $100K in 2021, wow... how about this year? I think this year is more significant, if only there was no corona virus this market would have bullish by now since the halving is approaching, people panic and this happens but hopefully it would not last long.
Since yesterday the BTC has decreased in price, I think it will stay in the range of 7,7-7,6k but now it has touched the price of 7,4k. I hope that BTC will not go down more today. Hmm I saw some news about this and as it really has a little effect because this virus began to spread even to my country.

Well now its trading below 7.4k and in the recent cronovirus news Trump suspends travel from Europe to US for 30 days. Crypto markets like all other markets are in red, I think we may hit 6.1k-6.5k range but i think if you are true believer in crypto then you don't need to worry about the recent price action and look at the bigger picture for crypto as it is here to stay so keep calm and HODL!

168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bad days for crypto on: March 11, 2020, 10:26:03 PM
well yes bears are in control at the moment and bicoin drop nearly 10% in two days cronovirus has caused panic all of world. And now we have oil crisis ... Yesterday there was a good video interview of "The Moon & Tone Vays"  by cointelegraph you can check it here  to get the idea where we are headed according to the experts.

171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which tokens do you like to stake/hold for profits? on: March 11, 2020, 05:07:54 PM
Well ethereum is also moving to proof of stake later this year for which you'll need 32 eth in case of solo stacking or you can stake with some pool. Similarly cardano has launched incentivized testnet their main-net isn't live yet but definitely a project to keep your eye on.
172  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Huawei without Google on: March 11, 2020, 04:10:34 PM
You will replace Google and NSA spyware with chinese spyware. And chinese spyware is of lower quality, it means some 3rd party can get unauthorized access to it.

It's true but there some linux based smartphones around like for example Librem 5 . It has hardware based kill switches for wifi, camera and microphone so if you are concerned about your privacy you can turned these off when you are not using your phone.

I wish I could go completely Google free, but my options would then be limited. One big issue for me was that WhatsApp really is a need and I believe there's no point in going for a fully free experience where you're off Apple/Google/Microsoft/whatever other company's track if the experience will not really be fully free. I believe WhatsApp doesn't even work if you remove absolutely everything related to Google from your Android phone, but I may be wrong.

Tizen is another linux based operating system and mostly used by Samsung electronics. There is a Whatsapp native version available on their App store. There are few Samsung Z series phones around with this OS.

Few years back we have ubuntu phone which tried to do exactly what Librem and few other linux based smartphones are trying to do but it failed because Android and IOS have huge stack of apps. This means that any competing mobile platform must match or at least offer a compelling reason to ignore the benefits of an endless selection of apps. Secondly it must match the same hardware compatibility and performance as the existing phones.

173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are only rich on spreadsheets on: March 11, 2020, 09:52:05 AM
well it is true for most of the projects but there are few gems once in a while recently origin protocol had their bounty and i participated in that and managed to get very good payout. Well you can opt for bounties that pay in eth or btc few are listed in service section of this forum but the entry requirements are bit high for those bounties but pay day is guaranteed.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: That's my 2020 portfolio, what are you opinions? on: March 11, 2020, 09:44:27 AM
i think i would go for 0.8 btc for Ethereum as i would like to get 32 Eth in my portfolio for staking as its around the corner and also i will look to invest some portion of my btc in defi projects. ChainLink , enigma and hash graph would be my top 3 picks. BNB is good choice to hold on binance as you get to vote on community listing and that way you also get some free tokens.

176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DAMMIT, I missed another profit opportunity!!! on: March 10, 2020, 03:24:30 PM
Well that's how market plays no one can predict the market there are only probabilities so if you are into day trading then you should set your goals / targets for the percentage profit where you would close your position and also stop loss accordingly. But if you are a hodler then these price fluctuations doesn't matter. so cheer up Smiley
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The current world market situation. on: March 09, 2020, 05:07:48 PM
The continuous increase of infected individual because of this killer virus it totally gives a negative impact on the global market condition. The declining scenario will certainly extend until this problem resolved. And it was afraid that it takes so long before it has gone forever...
Everything is went down and all business transactions are affected. Though a lot of people never say need to be worried but can't deny how it affects our mindset.
If this dump has any connection with corona virus then I will tell social media is responsible for this. Previously there are some situation  came like as search virus, ebola, etc and death percentage was more than corona. But the world economy did not face any problem like during corona virus. Because that time media was not familiar.
But now a days maximum people of the world are using social media. And all news are spreading in the world in a second. And we are facing some problem among advantage of social media.

Coronavirus is not responsible for the loss in price of Bitcoin presently, a scam token dumped huge numbers of Bitcoin that's what dragged Bitcoin price down, it will take days for recovery to start taking place

Which project? Any source please? I did not heard/see any news like that. Thank you.

i think he is referring to this : https://www.coindesk.com/bitcoins-sharp-price-drop-may-have-been-prompted-by-100m-scam-selloff
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The current world market situation. on: March 09, 2020, 05:05:52 PM
well This will be remembered as Black Monday ..panic selling is happening world wide all markets are red.  I think the situation will settle down once we have more clarity about the future course of the corona virus Until then we face serious downside risks.

180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We apologize for the plagiarized white paper on: March 08, 2020, 03:46:33 PM
this reminds of Tron plagiarism story back in the day they also plagiarize at least two whitepapers one written by Protocol Labs and was of IPFS and Filecoin. Although later they removed both the English and Chinese version of the whitepapers from their website
