161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Lost Ideology of Cryptography. Can we regain it again? on: January 17, 2019, 03:49:54 PM
Have you ever asked yourself what’s the main idea behind cryptography and cryptocurrencies as the end product of it? The last 2 years were marked with dramatic legalization attempts of different cryptocurrencies, and it lead most companies to KYC implementation across the industry.

The primary purpose of cryptography is financial anonymity, and some of the services impose new rules of identity verification, even if your trading volumes are low. Recently we were doing a short industry overview with our team and came to the conclusion that cryptocurrencies are under pressure, EU and US are actively trying to get taxes from every financial operation made with crypto.

We were lucky to get evidence from one of our subscribers, who told that the oldest P2P exchange LocalBitcoins is verifying user profiles if their trading volume has crossed $7,500 mark. Even banks don’t put their attention on such small amounts. Moreover, your account gets suspended, and simply you can’t trade until you send them your documents.

Sure, maybe AML laws made them taking these measures, but regardless of that if you are building this kind of the business, don't you analyze what's going to happen next?

Currently, we are developing our P2P trading platform called RiseX which won’t impose any verification methods or trading limits because it contradicts with cryptography ideology. We want to build a place where people can trade without revealing their personal information.

Our team is just wondering what people think about these measures that most projects take? What future would you prefer in the cryptocurrency industry?
I realize that this is one of the actions to collect user information to be able to verify with the government users who have positive exchanges. They are trying to authenticate with the government that all transactions verified and there are no activities to support unauthorized money laundering.
162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some people refuse to accept bitcoin? on: January 17, 2019, 03:41:04 PM
https://medium.com/datadriveninvestor/why-your-annoying-friend-wont-stop-ranting-about-bitcoin-9808a132480

The author of this article believes that putting a small amount of currency you have into BTC can help you protect your wealth.

He says, “If enough other people believe BTC is money and use it; it’s money even if it doesn’t follow the old rules our nobel prize winning economists have told you. The old rules are being taught a new lesson by the market.”

What do you think about it? If you or your friends don’t buy any bitcoin, what is the reason?

People do not believe in Bitcoin because its current price is too low compared to the highest rate is achieved. Too many investors lose money when investing in Bitcoin, so people don't believe in it, always saying that this is one of the biggest scams in history. But I find that this is the foolishness of investors to accept investing in it for profit.

164  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will be the faith of bitcoin this year on: January 08, 2019, 07:39:07 PM
I feel confident that bitcoin can still recover, this year will bring new hope that will encourage the market to stabilize.
I don't feel Bitcoin can grow this year. You can see that Bitcoin has not yet passed the ETF and there are still many upcoming Bitcoin-related events. If this event negatively affects Bitcoin, it will cause BTC to fall to $ 2000
165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People with most bitcoins should be in their 20's by now on: January 08, 2019, 07:34:27 PM
Bitcoins have been over a couple of hundred dollars for more than 5 years now. Kids can only get so many by mining. Don't imagine too many teenagers have 10+ bitcoins without family help in getting them.

Bitcoin is maturing, and so are its holders.

Alts are probably a different story
I agree with you that people in their 20s and above always have the right thoughts and most people of this age have their own personal records. When you have your own income you can decide what you will do and start working on this market.
166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cannot Die. It is Impossible. Under Any Circumstances. on: January 08, 2019, 07:30:20 PM
Bitcoin can still die and it will still be destroyed if the big guys want this. We are small investors and very few holders of Bitcoin. People who hold a lot of BTC with huge amounts of money always have a huge impact on this market, they can destroy it any time.
167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning Bitcoin is good, but don't depent on it. on: January 08, 2019, 07:26:35 PM
I agree with you that we should only treat it as a secondary profession, not to become dependent on it. When you choose it as the main job, it will really be your source of life. If you can't make money from it, everything will become really desperate.
168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the records on BITCOIN approaching? on: January 08, 2019, 07:22:51 PM
As reported by the cointelegraph according to the latest survey, most Bitcoin Investors and Speculators Maintained Their Positions Over Summer, most of the real hodlers are still holding, and the street has already become saturated. Are we waiting for more ETH to interest a new group of people? Will the situation not happen again?
https://cointelegraph.com/news/study-bitcoin-investors-and-speculators-maintained-their-positions-over-summer
All storms collect information based on individuals they collect through Blockchain addresses. There are many people who own Bitcoin on exchange floors and this marks its existence. Everything is not saturated and the fluctuations still happen every day.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will happen to Ether? on: January 07, 2019, 07:22:41 PM
Ether has dropped to $ 90. Should I buy more under the prospect of growth or look at other competitors? I'm interested in your opinion, which of the Altcoins dedicated to smart contracts is the most promising?
Eth prices are now up 70% compared to $ 90. You see that ETH used to fall to $ 70 and many people said this was its end, but everyone was wrong. Eths are still rising back, and up 80% within a week this is crazy and goes against all investors' predictions.
170  Economy / Speculation / Re: Yearly All Time Lows For BTC on: January 07, 2019, 06:20:14 PM
2012 - $4
2013 - $65
2014 - $200
2015 - $185
2016 - $365
2017 - $780
2018 - $3200

Puts a lot into perspective.
Bitcoin each year has a much lower price than the price it previously achieved. I am thinking that Bitcoin will break this curse this year when starting a new year with good things blessed by God? It can break this curse or not, but I believe it can.
171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does it mean to buy on the Dip? on: January 07, 2019, 06:07:42 PM
when the price is falling like this then we have to buy as much as possible, so when the bull run occurs we will get huge profit.
But no one has assured you that it will come back again. This market is very risky, and it can be any Altcoin that it wants. I didn't give any advice, but these are my thoughts. I feel that you should not put all your assets into anything.
172  Economy / Speculation / Re: January...The Next Few Weeks Will Be Crucial on: January 07, 2019, 05:57:27 PM
We could think negative things about bitcoin but then we never know what will happen next. I am always positive in bitcoin and the whole cryptocurrency. Last year is really not a good year for crypto but i can sense that this year is something grest.
Should become so negative so my friend. Last year was a bad and cruel year when I lost 80% of my investment. I still believe in it, and I'm hoping this year will change my life, so I don't expect to see negative things discussed by people.  Cry Cry
173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's strength is that nobody can crack it yet on: December 09, 2018, 07:32:43 PM
And it will remain so for a long time.
No government, no parties can effectively ban it and put their hand on it. They would have to ban internet first. Not likely.
That would be the end of free world we know.
That's not the strength of Bitcoin, it's the power of the Blockchain platform. The Blockchain platform confirms transactions to verify it legally, and after reaching the block number, the operation can not change so fraudulence is unlikely.
174  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC Bull after Christmas? on: December 09, 2018, 07:18:15 PM
I have noticed that Christmas is coming and the market is still falling, and many are saying that Bitcoin may continue to decline in 2019. But I realised when the Christmas holiday was over, and people came back. With their work, everything will grow again.
175  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Going To Zero? on: December 09, 2018, 05:59:20 PM
Bitcoin will go down to the ground and close to 0? I realise that this is not possible when Bitcoin still has a pretty high price. When Bitcoin is down, the market has a high level of buying so it decreases purchasing power and this will never cause Bitcoin drop to zero.
176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Issue about Bitcoin in the future on: December 09, 2018, 05:53:32 PM
Hi there, my name is Fin

Well, I'm trying to think of why Bitcoin has to be the coin that lasts into the future.
The primary reason I can think is due to it being the first, and therefore it's in a way more scattered?

Any new mine-able crypto could quickly and easily be overtaken by a major entity who could then potentially control the majority of it,
which would be problematic for a decentralized currency.
And a pre-mined crypto could never become the largest.

How do you think ?

Thanks for you opinion

I do not have an opinion on the reason why it may be money in the future. But Bitcoin is currently Altcoin with the highest price and whales easily control it. Besides it is the currency of "Deep" use, so it easily survives in the future.
177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency courses, thoughts? on: December 08, 2018, 08:19:53 PM
This market is becoming sick, and it can die at any time. I believe that I do not need crypto courses. But Blockchain technology is growing fast, what I want is the courses that makeup Blockchain because it promises good jobs in the future.
178  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Going To Zero? on: December 08, 2018, 08:14:38 PM
I do not believe that Bitcoin is back to zero. Because the current black market is using Bitcoin as the primary currency for transactions. Do you think that these illegal transactions use Bitcoin as a currency? Everything will never end if it is still selected.
179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Holding BTC at this satge is a bad idea? on: December 08, 2018, 08:04:15 PM
I don't think so. Although Btc is dipping hourly, daily and weekly even with this I can see a bright outcome from this grave dip. So it's better to accumulate more from the weak hands now.
You think things are positive and the rest think with bad things. The market drops you see the poles but there are a lot of people seeing the dark colors. I fear that this market is killing the investors.
180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Destroyed me at all. on: December 05, 2018, 06:01:17 PM
Do not become so negative because this is your decision. You decide to invest in Bitcoin, and you should take the risk that it does, if you do not accept the loss, try to hold it until it reaches $ 11,000 and stops complaining about it.
