161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motivated by "breaking the code" on: August 07, 2021, 11:31:22 AM
I don't think it's really about breaking a code, I think what your neighbor means is he's going to win, probably just an expression to motivate himself to win it's actually good to stay positive in playing gambling games just like in sports betting even though the team is losing and the game is about to lose, sometimes I yell "Just wait" then the losing team scores and I got a draw or sometimes I win.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will The Sorrow of BTC Be The Pleasure of Altcoins? on: August 06, 2021, 01:58:02 PM
This statement is definitely wrong. Bitcoin is equivalent to a weathervane. When the price of Bitcoin drops, people will panic and sell other coins in their hands. Altcoins will also drop. Bitcoin affects the entire cryptocurrency market.
Yes, it has been proven long ago so there is nothing that cannot be denied because Bitcoin has become the benchmark for the entire cryptocurrency market and the benchmark for all cryptocurrency price resilience.

It could not be emphasized more that both Bitcoin and altcoin are equal in a way that these are all cryptocurrencies that exists in one market. So, when Bitcoin, the considered as the highest of them all starts falling, the same perspective will be assumed happening with every existing cryptocurrency as well. Thus, the fall of BTC cannot be a pleasure to altcoins because they are going down altogether if given the case.
163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: some people uneducate about Bitcoins on: August 06, 2021, 01:47:39 PM
5 years ago I heard about Bitcoins  some feedback are good but some of them are negative

Untill now In my country if you say/discuss about Bitcoins expect that their response are negative.

Why does some people always say negative about Bitcoins?

On the contrary, people in my country have grown eager to learn about Bitcoin, cryptocurrency in general, because of their perceived benefits. Although there are still negative perspectives about it, its volatility is what have caused these mainly. Nonetheless, people have a rather positive outlook toward Bitcoin it is just that its volatile nature discourages them to push through.
164  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Losing in trading needs questioning on: August 06, 2021, 01:38:51 PM
It's important to ask yourself the right questions and learn from the answers you receive. However, sometimes we are not always able to correctly identify our mistakes. For example, we lost money due to things that we could not predict, but we can still attribute this to our mistake. Such a conclusion will not be correct, because nothing depended on you. Those things that you are not sure about should not be reliable information.

Asking yourself is not effective on this scenario because you due to your personal decision and knowledge so you fully committed on trading because you believe on yourself. The problem on trading starts by choosing the right coin to invest, This is what many newbie traders missing out. They tends to buy coin that is pumping heavily due to hype or FOMO without doing research first. If only newbie traders can choose the right coin, They will not gonna lose even by just holding the coin.

Yes, I agree that as much as it is important to have assess oneself, with regards to decisions and principles, it is also crucial to take on outside perspective thru researching and observation as well. Believing in one’s ability and judgment is needed but only with adequate knowledge one can make informed judgment.
165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Increasing acceptance level - Cryptocurrency on: August 06, 2021, 01:33:00 PM
That's nice, it looks like it just really needs some time before people will be able to accept cryptocurrency and also this might be a good advertising as well, some people who are not familiar with cryptocurrency would be able to get curious and probably do their own research on what cryptocurrency is. Let's hope that more and more people would be able to accept cryptocurrency as a mode of payment.
Totally agree, if everything goes the way it is right now for cryptocurrency, then time will be on our side but the only problem that we have to solve is that we have to continuously improve the network for the biggest cryptocurrency in the market because if it can't keep up with the demand, we only see new people not being impressed with it because of how slow it is.

I could not agree more that for its state of adoption to be sustained, continuous improvement must be met. Of course, every day the world is also changing and innovating, and so must cryptocurrency and its network system. This would make more people see that crypto can meet their needs and demands, nevertheless.
166  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin casino top news on: August 06, 2021, 01:10:10 PM
Yeah it was just an image, I'm not sure what the OP want's to discuss. I haven't heard about faucets now, whenever I hear about faucets a waste of time always comes to my mind. I'm pretty sure that there's no faucet websites that worth it since you will just watch a lot of advertisement and receive a very low amount, plus the transaction fee when you are going to transfer your earned Bitcoin to your personal wallet.
I personally know people who have made a fortune with faucets. In the early days of faucets, for example, you would make 0.0001 BTC per hour if you ran it while gambling and clicked on a banner every now and then. At that time the Bitcoin was worth a fraction of what it is now, but calculate that if you did that for a few hours a day ... For example, I myself earned 2 LTC per faucets, which was worth just under 5$ back then.

You just don't know where the journey of the BTC still goes. A few dollars in Faucet BTCs today can be a lot of money in a few years.

As you have mentioned, situation is different back in the day, which can be said that faucets are not what they used to be. Today, settling with faucets could be time consuming and troublesome for some. Along with the time being consumed, the low pay rate, troubles in withdrawing process, and the emergence of scam, I think that many would agree that it is not that beneficial today.
167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: signs of gambling addiction on: August 05, 2021, 11:32:41 AM
There's a lot of signs either small or big and we have different signs based on different person, me sometimes I'm playing dice game on my mind which it leads me on playing dice game even if I already use my gambling budget. These kind of things can be really alarming since it's the start of the actual addiction we should be observant on what's happening to us since if we are addicted already, we can't control it anymore.
168  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading skills and strategies on: August 05, 2021, 10:58:55 AM
I'm curious too what do you mean by encrypted? I don't think you would be able to use that encryption on exchange since they will hold that for you, well there's a lot of strategies out there but it is up to you what kind of trader you want to be and there's an appropriate strategy for that and also I think it depends on the market what strategy you're going to use.

170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful what you choose to invest in now, not all coins will recover. on: August 05, 2021, 10:36:33 AM
You are right, it's important to choose what coins to hold or buy and when to sell it, not all coins are worth buying for and it is much better if we know what coin are we holding and we should be trusted. I don't mind holding Bitcoin and Ethereum for a long time even the price is like a rollercoaster since these coins are trusted cryptocurrencies.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ETH and ERC20 tokens deposits and withdrawals are paused on: August 05, 2021, 10:30:11 AM
Dear users, Due to the London hard fork, the Ethereum and ERC20 based token deposits and withdrawals will be paused at 10:00 UTC. It will resume as soon as the network is stable.

Thank you.

Are you part of the Ethereum group? It seems that I don't receive that kind of information, was it legitimate would you mind if you share here the announcement where they say that the ERC20 based deposit and withdrawals are paused? I'm aware that the London hard fork will happened but I don't think they will hold the the deposit and transactions.

If this is real how long would it take before resuming the transactions?
172  Economy / Gambling / Re: KonradFun 8) | 50% First Deposit Bonus on: July 31, 2021, 10:57:43 AM
Do you have any license to operate? also I was curious about the 50% first deposit may I ask what is the wagering requirement for that? I see that you offer a lot of casino games mostly slots that came from 3rd party providers. How would  you convince us to play on your website when it was also offered to other casinos which they have a gambling license?

175  Economy / Speculation / Re: 10 green daily candles in a row on: July 31, 2021, 10:36:42 AM
Depends on high the green candles can go for what I think it can go more but the price will not be that high still depends on the volume, I'm not really pro in trading and I don't know many stuff but it's great to know that 10 days we have green candles, probably a red candle is on its way? I was planning to take profit now I think I gain a pretty good profit now.
176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin better than Fiat? on: July 31, 2021, 10:30:22 AM
They all have their own pros and cons. The pros I can see in Fiat is that it can be available offline, the price is pretty stable compared to bitcoin, many people know it of course the cons that I see is that it is unlimited and the government is in control with most of the transaction.

In Bitcoin the pros is that the transaction is online and can be done in minutes, it's pseudonymous (better than not anonymous), It's pretty known world wide and can be an investment the cons is the volatility of the price, increasing tx fee and the banning of the government to their country to use cryptocurrency.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the pandemic is still going on.. on: July 31, 2021, 10:17:30 AM
Do airdrops really worth it? as I remember most of the airdrops were just a poor projects that wanted some boost? is there any other platform to see airdrops rather than the bounties section here in the bitcointalk? It looks like the airdrops is still worth joining, I hope I would be able to spot good airdrops.
178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling or playing? on: July 29, 2021, 03:55:06 PM
I remember playing this game called red dead redemption 2 there's some mini games on this game about poker and i tried it and it's very addicting but I don't think underage people will focus on this game since the game itself is entertaining, I think there should always be a warning on every game. That's the only thing they can do, even now any underage can play casino and place bet on sports betting website without verifying itself that he or she is on a legal age.
179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sold my first Bitcoin and am happy on: July 29, 2021, 03:51:54 PM
I'm happy for you, you don't have any regrets on what you have done. I see so many people like complain that they could have sell it for a much more higher amount I don't see their point, once they decided to do something they should be proud of it.

Those users are greedy. Anyway, 3 years is a really long time I'm surprised that you managed to hold that for a long time.
180  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your Best trading platform is? on: July 29, 2021, 03:47:41 PM
I'll go with Binance the reason is that it's easy to open an account and the withdrawal threshold is pretty high but I hear some bad news recently I think for those users who are not verified yet limits their withdrawal to 0.6 BTC from original 2 BTC. Well it's still a lot maybe for some normal traders but for big time traders I think this could be a problem to them.
